What do you think about David Binney?
Which are your favorite albums by him?
Thoughts on his new release from this year?
In case you haven't heard of him, he's one of the most original composers and alto saxophonists on the current jazz scene.
Here is a sample from his most recent album:

Why do you keep shilling this shit label? Him being one of the """"most original""""" saxophonists presupposes me having heard of him, which I haven't. No one here has.

>Him being one of the """"most original""""" saxophonists presupposes me having heard of him
It doesn't actually. Your having heard of him or not has no influence or effect on his originality.

That's what happens when you play the edgy faggot who cried wolf one too many times.
Anyone going to death grips tonight?
It'll be my first time, any predictions how it'll be based on past experiences?
Here's a tip:
H E A R I N G P R O T E C T I O N
1. Wear socks, the floor is sticky.
2. Don't take too many at once.
3. Always remember to lube up!

This. Also, if you are a girl, under 5 foot, or otherwise sleight, I don't suggest approaching the stage. About 5 minutes prior to the band actually coming on stage, there may be a surge from the back of the crowd. And whether or not that happens, a pit will open up right behind the front row by the first song. It's going to get very stuffy, very hot, and very uncomfortable. Just don't be stupid and stay in that zone if that's not what you're there for.
I don't mean to discourage anybody though, it's a really fun show.

What's /mu/'s opinion on Crossfaith?
>>74293501
Yes, completely and utterly wrong
lol I just looked up their song Freedom, and there's so much I should hate it for, but I actually enjoyed it. It's like a cross between K-Pop (though they're Japanese), Hot Topic metalcore, and brostep, all of which I dislike. But it's fun, like a dumber Atari Teenage Riot.
Thoughts on Lana Del Rey's latest album?
>>74293249
It's just as good as her worst.
>0/10
>>74293249
it's music. it hit the bare minimum. it's a collection of sounds, just slightly less shittier ones than usual.
>>74293249
its probably shit.

Could your favorite band play 13 nights in one residency without a single repeat, and sell out each night at Madison Square Garden? Didn't think so.
>>74293177
No, but they could play one night of residency with no repeats, and the music would actually sound good. Quality > quantity.

>Paul McCartney
In a heartbeat.
>Phish

Anyone else kind of disappointed in this? I enjoyed it at first but comparing it to Marriage of True Minds it seems like the first album where the concept limited the music detrimentally
>>74293002
i haven't listened to a matmos album since the one they did where they sampled surgical procedures. that was shit and presumably this is too.
>>74293091
A Chance to Cut is fucking brilliant anon, really accessible and creative idm. Why didn't you like it?
