>I'M FLY LIKE A DRONE
>THEY BUYIN LIKE A LOAN

The move Jake does with his arms when he comes back in to repeat "Is that boy's cologne?" gets me everytime.
This is easily the most quotable song ever.
YEAH I SMELL GOOD
IS THAT YOUR BOY'S COLOGNE
Now that there's only 2.5 years left in the 2010s, what were some of the essential albums of the decade?
Anything like Camel, Pink Floyd's AHMS etc.
I don't know how much you know about Prog rock so forgive me if I say some obvious choices, but here's my attempt
Sorskogen - Mordet I grottan
Opeth Damnation record
Caravan ingeneral but especially "Nine feet underground"
Shadowfax Watercourse way
Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but Camel and Pink Floyd, like most prog are very different so it's hard to name something like them. I just picked bands that have stuff in common like long jam sessions.
Could I get some recs on things similar to Close to the Edge?
amazing, I was just about to start a thread on this!
a cute friend just rec'd me this! I like it a lot
What is the album with that purple hand ripping that guys face off?
I remember the music being bad but the cover was cool,
Everything everything

this.

thx, get to heaven was what I was thinking of.
>go to Bad Religion gig
>have a dance and a jump around
>gig finishes
>as queuing to leave am stood next to a middle aged man who looked slightly out of place to most of the audience
>I had noticed him stood a few rows behind me in the crowd earlier
>he is there with his teenage son
>overhear him say to his son something to the effect of 'It is crazy how into it their fans get'
>while we are shuffling out he turns to me and tells me 'you know if you keep jumping around and swinging your head like that you are going to get a serious brain injury'
>a bit taken a back by his unsolicited advice but tell him 'I appreciate it mate but I am well aware that this isn't the best thing for your brain'
>he says to me 'no I am not joking I am serious'
>tell him 'I know mate cheers though'
>he then starts touching me on the shoulder and arm and saying 'no I am serious, I am serious'
>turn 360 degrees and walk away
I did decide to read a bunch of proper articles about it afterwards and the general consus was there has been 1 well documented case of a fan suffering a brain injury at a Motorhead concert once, but the real trouble people run into is with back and neck problems.
I was mainly annoyed though because you'd have to have brain damage to not realise bouncing around and cannoning yourself about for an hour isn't going to be healthy for your brain, but why come to a show to tell people this?
Also fun police stories general
>>74310734
this is quite possibly the least interesting story I've ever seen on /mu/
Headbanging is fucking dumb anyway
Thoughts on prefab sprout?

making music makes my favorite music seem less amazing
it's like knowing how a magic trick is done
you're stupid making music only enhances the listening experience
it just means that your favorite music sucks
>>74311413
same with picking up new instruments
was anon correct about p4k in the current year?
>>74310680
but the new album really does suck ass
le tinfoil hat man
verdict?
Deep fried garbage. Pop rap for college girls who really enjoyed Broccoli and iSpy. The only good part of this album is the multiple tv and movie references
>>74310676
strong 5
What went wrong?
genuinely decent songs like Figure.09, Breaking the Habit, From the Inside, Nobody's Listening and Session are let down by some of their worst: Faint, Numb, Don't Stay, Hit the Floor, Easier to Run
>>74310748
how are faint, numb and hit the floor bad in any way exactly
What does /mu/ think about Paul Simon? I never really see anyone talking about his music on here.
Good stuff, but an acquired taste
>>74310613
Sorry I don't listen to music made by manlets
>>74310613
His work with garfunkel was better than his solo stuff
