Stop commenting on every thread, it's unnessesary.
How do you discover more global music? World music, ethnic music, folk music, whatever people wanna call it
here are some ideas for finding stuff
avoid google
study a search engine for an hour and half with your selected genre
its alot of annoying clicking, but i think you will find what you want
oh and to clarify you want to do something like
"world music blogs" etc
i know everything is a pain to click through and it gets really annoying after a while but i believe it is the best way.

Going off of this guy, the easiest (and I mean DIRT EASY) thing to do is to look for "[insert country here] music blogs." Google will net you good stuff but look back in the archives.
Alternatively, there's enough simply on Wikipedia to allow you to get a feel for what a specific country liked through the years. By using Spotify, you can see related artists in that same region. Looking up playlists with said artists will give you access to foreign accounts. Look at those accounts to find more interesting finds from your preferred country.
And, if you just want some quick essentials that will never fail you, look at this chart.
When did you first realize that Classical music was unironically far superior to everything else? For me it was when I listened to Johannes Brahms' String Quintet No. 1 in F major, op. 88 for the first time.
It was after finishing Nodame Cantabile
>not folk
the last good gangsta rapper
He definitely was the last of that breed. But the thing is he also had the ability to make some of the dopest hooks and melody

How long does it take before being able to do decent improvisation on the guitar ?
>>74311559
It was about a year/ a year and a half for me
Maybe a little longer maybe less if you're gifted
>>74311581
Okay thanks
It might take longer for me, I'm not really gifted
How does /mu/ feel about Lil Ugly Mane?
I only downloaded Mista Thug Isolation recently and I've listened to it nearly every day since.

best hip-hop producer and personality of the 2010s for sure
i like him a lot
what makes good ambient
the hype behind the artist's name
the concept surrounding the project
cool artwork
its ambience
>>74311567
>the hype behind the artists's name
Are you kidding me? Ambient has nothing to do with hype
>cool artwork
If that's deciding factor for you then you don't understand ambient
Creative use of textures that evoke a specific theme and not tacked-on bullshit like 808's over generic pads.
What rap artists other than Kanye makes music that's not incredibly boring it listen to?
Oddisee
Yeezy

Tyler the Creator is the modern Kanye.
Why does Spotify radio suck cock?
Does any good radio app actually exist?
>>74311523
Unfortunately, no.
>Spotify's algorithm is cucked
>Pandora losing steam every year
>YouTube mixes are always the same trash
>Radio apps on App Store are very limited, hard to navigate
>DI.FM plays only bro-tier edm now no matter what channel you go on
Unless you want to get like TuneIn Radio on your phone and scroll through a buttload of ENDLESS TRASH, you're shit out of luck anon
