i want a girlfriend
what kind of music should i listen to?
Whatever gets you in the mood to lift
>>75084087
Melanie Martinez
>>75084087
nothing. get off 4chan and go put yourself out there.
Listening to depressing "why do i have no gf" music will keep you in that shitty boat. Its good every once in a while, but a constant diet of minor keys and loveless isnt good
listen to james brown's payback to give you the "i fucking get bitches" vibe. thatll be a good start
Albums you genuinely like but others don't. Or albums you like that get bad reviews.

Any of you guys see shit like this on your newsfeeds a lot these days? Do they think this works
>>75084014
I don't go on facebook.
They do think it works obviously because they paid for it. Does it work? No.

I want to get into little Frank Sinatra, where do I start /mu/?
(Or redpill me if shit, and recommend me better music)
>>75083791
Watch his movies and start with the first album.

If you can find it, the retirement concert from 1969 at the Abramson Theater is the way to go.
Frank thought his career was dead, so he did 10 songs that encapsulated it from beginning to end and he sang his fucking heart out. He genuinely thought it would be his last time performing, but he killed it so hard that he ended up revitalizing his career.
It's the ultimate Sinatra recording in my opinion, at the height of his powers, right at the end of his Vegas stint, a year or two after My Way came out.

Was that the time Paul Anka wrote My Way for him?
>"A zoologist who observed gorillas in their native habitat was amazed by the uniformity of their life and their vast idleness. Hours and hours without doing anything. Was boredom unknown to them? This is indeed a question raised by a human, a busy ape. Far from fleeing monotony, animals crave it, and what they most dread is to see it end. For it ends, only to be replaced by fear, the cause of all activity. Inaction is divine; yet it is against inaction that man has rebelled. Man alone, in nature, is incapable of enduring monotony, man alone wants something to happen at all costs—something, anything.... Thereby he shows himself unworthy of his ancestor: the need for novelty is the characteristic of an alienated gorilla."
I-Is he right?

ITT: You post a good album (8/10+) but you can't post it if a different album from the same country has already been posted.

I really hope some of you guys check this one out. I think it's fantastic. Basically historical post-rock. Great all the way through (except track 7).
