I prefer Kaleidoscope and Tinderbox.
Kaleidoscope was the pinnacle of their post-punk period, Tinderbox is just an outstanding pop record.

The Banshees were on a role throughout pretty much the entirety of the 70s and 80s though, just one damn solid record after another. Fantastic band in general.

The market became saturated with painfully mediocre and uninspired garbage which did nothing to move the genre forward. Revivals are rarely ever a good thing, they mostly just stagnate the inevitable death of the original style to the point that once innovative albums now sound incredibly dated

Same here OP, MSI was the shit, god tier AMV-core. Was my favorite band for a year or two, then I grew out of it and suddenly stopped listening. One day I'll listen to their whole discopgraphy from start to end for nostalgia's sake
