Any of those are great. I prefer foobar because it's the only one with actual gapless playback, at least on my phone.

Why do people disregard the boy band phase of The Beatles but see buch boys as only a surf rock band?
It's not fair.
Because people are retards
I don't know, but I'm gonna blame Mike Love.

The Beach Boys were a better rock n roll band than the Beatles (Fun Fun Fun, Dance Dance Dance), but by the time Rubber Soul came around (and subsequent Beatles records), the Beach Boys just don't matter anymore.
>band/artist plays the first few notes of a song
>crowd immediately recognises the song and goes fucking nuts
Imagine being the person playing the intro
What a feeling that must be
Anyone got any good examples of this?
Recently started listening to music together with my girl. We have similar tastes for the most part, so theres nothing to complain over.
Listened to Sea of Blood by Amon Amarth together yesterday, and though she likes the melody and rifts and stuff, the shouting/screaming throws her off. Think you guys could suggest bands/songs with similar heavy metal themes, just without the screaming part?
just listen to Blind Guardian
oh and mastodon is all goofy clean vocals now too

This is good advice in most situations desu.
Thoughts on Ichiko Aoba?
0 was a very good album. Super chill.
"Hey! I'm not a weeb, I just like music and this is actually good Japanese music"-core
no, you are a weeb.
0 was one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever listened to. Voice of an angel, sweet melodies, and the way she strums her guitar always keep me coming back. Her other stuff is okay.
Music is p. fucking bad
OP is kinda right
check em
also kpop sucks

>Artist comes around to redefine a genre, basically by being a quirky, thoughtful white guy
>Shows the industry that its acting too seriously, and is rewarded with lots of critical acclaim
>Meanwhile hackney'd shits with no cultural knowledge whatsoever ignore everything that came before it, putting it on an unbeatable pedestal, claiming that it's simply the best of its genre, and nothing else is that good. "I don't like x, but THEY'RE pretty good!"
>Basically falling in love with the quirkiness of the personality instead of the heart of the music, because if they really loved it, they'd listen to their contemporaries
>Derivative of a genre primarily listened by people who would take serious convincing to listen to this hipster white trash
>So in come the wave of hipster white trash fans
>fast forward XX years and they've influenced an entire wave of music fans with no respect for music history, all because their love for music is based on this one artist who, aside from being quirky and influenced by black people music, isn't doing THAT much differently from their peers
>Music is easier than ever to preserve, and despite this, music listeners are more closed minded than ever, listening to the same shit on repeat until they die
God I hate Talking Heads-Remain in Light. Pic unrelated.
What's some more music like Burzum? I've listened to a lot of black metal bands and heavy metal bands in general, but Burzum is the only one that appeals to me. I don't know what it is but he just has a certain style that I really like. I haven't heard anything else quite like it.
Same. Listened to other bands, even if it's more technically impressive it just doesn't do it for me like Burzum does
