Jimi, of course, but Mitch is one of the finest drummers in rock music
Not particularly
Not either, I feel as if Jimi's music was often better and more focused in studio then in live performances. He could get many techniques and sounds that just weren't available in live performances. Then again, the recording of live music at the time was not the best...
It's pretty evident that the king knew something and was about to blow the lid off before his last tour. There was a ton of gray area surrounding his death as well.
Does anyone have any insight or opinion on what it was that he knew?
Why do you keep making threads about Michael Jackson? Are you autistic?
>>74520231
(((They))) don't really care about us.
-Michael Jackson, 1996
>>74520231
Huh?
>*deletes it ain't easy*
>*deletes star*
Now it's a masterpiece
>>74519778
Those are the two worst songs, correct, but I feel that the album still manages to be a masterpiece in spite of them
>>74519778
I would deadass take off suffragette city before it ain't easy.
>>74519822
p much all "masterpiece" albums have a lackluster track or two
Why is post-punk so lauded and praised? Like what the fuck, it's so boring and all sounds the exact same.
Sonic Youth has some classic albums, some good ones, and some pretty awful ones. That one is good.
>>74519747
Yeah man, XTC and Joy Division TOTALLY sound the same.
>>74519747
>post punk
>Sonic Youth
Also post punk after 2000 sounds the same, for most of its existence it has been fine
What song would you play?
Bob Dylan-Visions Of Johanna

What's does /mu/ think of Frank Zappa? He's gotta unique sound in my opinion, but then again he kinda feels hipstery. What do you think?
>>74519656
I like Zappa overall, but his composition style can be stiff at times.
>>74519656
Legend
Zappa is literally /ourguy/ if /mu/ was around in the 70s. He's the ideal contrarian.
Is there such a thing as "water-core" already? if not, its real now
>>74519588
Also The Beach Boys, obvious
>>74519588
Boris - Flood obviously
More jazzy post-punk?
I think it's my next phase.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2pGwTzQmNk
That and James White and the Blacks are the only good ones. Jazz should stay jazz and not mix with punk.
ITS NOT A PHASE MOM!!
That One album by NoMeansNo...
Is Mac DeMarco the greatest in lo-fi music?
>>74519420
what a chill guy
*steals your music after you die*
>>74519420
Woah, Mac enjoys Star Wars too? I love Star Wars! So relatable. The fact that he's shirtless (naked??lol) in bed is also pretty chill too
I just heard Martin fucking Shkreli play Alice and Chains and Smashing Pumpkins (songs from Gish and Siamese Dream) on his stream.
Is he, dare I say, /ourguy/?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wKqFdLTg4Y
those are very popular bands even outside /mu/
>>74519321
he's been lowkey /ourguy/ for a while. i think he used to run some distro/label a while back that specialised in midwest emo or something, but i may be wrong. he definitely was involved in the business side of the industry at one point though.
>>74519321
AiC and SP would make him NOT our guy
