Patricia at the hardware store
You give me feelings
So here's a song where I named you Patricia
That's what all our songs are
We meet people and put their names in our songs sometimes
But otherwise we'll be singing round and round words because my voice is deep and anything sounds deep
Suck my balls Patricia
All our albums sound the same but we are underrated and cool as fuck fuck off /mu/

Waters puts on a good show, no one can deny that. But he's an insufferable egotistical maniac, he sees himself as a progressive but we all know he suppresses his natural tendency for fascism.
Has someone listened to his new albumn, should I even bother?

New album is solid, but the lyrics are hilarious. It's the most far up his own ass he's ever been.

so youre telling me its an enjoyable ride up his rectum if you dont take him too seriously?

Does this serve any purpose beyond playing entry level dadrock?

Well....they are a little better than rival CBS radio. CBS won't play it unless was a top 5 hit. CBS also will cut the instrumental portions out and have their radio personalities keep talking on song intros and outros as much as possible.
However, Clear Channel is in deep debt trouble along with CBS and all the other major terrestrial radio companies. I think within 5-10 years all of them will have folded.
I won't miss them, our NPR music affiliate along with a few college stations and our one independent station are the only thing worth listening to on terrestrial radio. I wouldn't mind smaller scale local stations who would get rid of the corporate extremely safe playlists.
Dadrock? What are you talking about? They play the same five to 10 pop songs on the radio that they picked off Billboard just like any top 40 type.

Can someone post the photo/meme of some guy raging over some girl not liking radiohead and other mucore then calling someone with actual taste a hipster?

Every music file in history has been wiped from Earth; including all physical versions.
But, you can save 1 album from this catastrophe.
What album do you choose?
In Rainbows
What was Thom trying to achieve by doing this?

The show only had one camera and could therefore only create the illusion of a dynamic multi-camera shoot by having the band play the song over and over and over again while shooting them from different angles and then editing all the video takes together in post-production.
The band got sick of it and decided to make a mockery of the whole thing.

I know that feeling. I was a child actor for a music video and we had to perform the same song the whole day.
It's tiring and you lose your mind eventually.
After a few times attempting to get my head around it I still don't completely understand time signatures and how people work them out. Especially when people are arguing whether a track is in 7/13 or 5/8 or whatever. But really IDGAF. People seem really pretentious about anything that isn't 4/4 like it automatically makes the music more intellectual or some shit. Who cares, it is what it is.
It's pretty important to anyone who actually performs music OP
The only /mu/core I like is King Crimson, Megadeth, and Black Sabbath

How come John Lennons solo work sounds like a continuation of Let It Be and Paul McCartneys solo work sounds like a continuation of Magical Mystery Tour but George Harrisons solo stuff sounds nothing like the Beatles?
Paul's solo material all sounds like Let It Be / Winding Road. Even John went on to say that they may as well have been Wings songs.
because george harrison can't be tied down to a single genre of music while lennon can only make simple pop music
At his best, Lennon actually embraced glam and funk very effectively; one of these days, people will finally appreciate Walls and Bridges for that. I don't know if I'd agree that Lennon's solo work is just a continuation of Let it Be.
George's solo stuff is unlike the Beatles primarily because of his spiritual sensibilities. Many of his best songs are catchy and perfectly musically engaging but ultimately lyric-centric and deeply influenced by Hinduism ("Simply Shady", "Crackerbox Palace", "Woman Don't You Cry for Me"). With a couple of exceptions, the Beatles were never an explicitly ideological or really very philosophical group. George individually wanted to write songs about his worldview and philosophy because he engaged with religion in a way that the other three Beatles did not, at least, not so publicly.

I don't, a bunch of bandwagoners just hopped on the Suf hype train with C&L but don't understand that the minimalist sound on that album is not at all his strong suit because Pitchfork told them it was his best album. This album is on par with Age of Adz, fucking phenomenal stuff.

I don't, you're just a little boring.
You had your moments.
