ITT: post your most underrated band/artist
I'll start
The Amazons
Their album is fucking amazing still nobody knows them

Debris Of Titan
out of all the neo psych bands out there they actually have a unique sound along with tame impala
Subway Sect
One of the original Punk bands, and probably the most forward thinking. Kind of got screwed by the fact that their manager stopped their debut album being released (it stills remains that way) and them only getting 2 singles out in 2 years in their initial run, though both are arguably classics. They didn't end up releasing an album until a new version of the band was reformed in the 80s, and by that point their frontman Vic Godard had moved onto other things musically, going Swing on their second album. If that album had come out when it was supposed to, I suspect that it would have been seen as a major mover towards Post-Punk.

The average /mu/tant doesn't talk to girls
I ask a girl what music she likes and she'll tell me some normalfag trash and then I'll ghost her or tell her I listen to Merzbow, Skrewdriver, GG Alin.
I haven't talked to someone who wasn't my mom in over 2 years
I don't even remember how I got into this band, but I like it for some odd reason.
>Once listened to Blue Dream while high on Blue Dream while driving home and it blew my mind
tonetta

DGD is quite good. Tilllian is definitely their worst vocalist though. The new album was decent though. Check out Secret Band, Hail The Sun, and my favorite, Sianvar.
Hey /mu/, Metalhead here, but I can't really find the appeal to blast beats in metal, is that weird?
I'd listen to any fast metal song with blast beats and i just can't really stand listening to it.
Am I the only one?
No and I look forward to the blast beat meme ending. It still has its place but its been way overused for at least 15 years now
>>74601060
I don't really see a place, maybe in some parts but really they're kinda jarring
I think the first Locust album is when it clicked for me.
What the fuck is this?
RapCaviar, Genius and Billboard seem to be shilling for this terrible song. And people are actually liking this?
Cardi B is just another pornrapper one hit wonder. She's not even that attractive either.
She also has no talent. Her voice is annoying, the beat she used is super bland, the lyrics are trash and repetitive, and she totally ripped of Kodak's flow from No Flockin. (Might as well be named Kodak Yellow)
Industry plant?
It's a good song wtf
>>74601052
wtf i love cardi b now
Her accent is amazing desu
What >$100 music players and earbuds do you guys recommend?
My phone and skull candy then spend the rest on pot and spotify
I would never spend any substantial amount of money on earbuds.
I lose those shits so quickly
>>74601042
Also they're never gonna sound as good as legit headphones
It's been so long.
gave mullholland drive a rewatch the other day and boy does this scene hit hard once you know what the fuck is even happening and how the song is significant

As much as "Iceblink Luck" is an amazing song, what the fuck does "iceblink" mean? It makes no sense.
>>74600828
it's a drug reference to wehen you are under the influence of said druf and so under the influence that you have cried a binch of tears and those teared and when oueeventually blink because the drug waers offf, you get a whole bunch of "ice" / eye boogers because you were crying so much because the album is so fucking beautiful holy fuck op what an album
>>74600852
It's a lovely record indeed Anon
>>74600828

>favourite genre is metal, especially fast and loud versions like thrash and grindcore
>autistic so I hate going to gigs of any kind because they're too loud
>>74600784
Use earplugs.
Confession: I like the Jackson 5
>>74601312
That would look weird though, how would I hide em
>>74601326
Grow out your hair so you'll have the metalhead look and you can just hide your ears with your hair
ITT: your least favorite album by your favorite artist and why
>too tonally inconsistent, never manages to decide whether it wants to be a more lighthearted/less dour album or a depressioncore album
Hmm.
Care to elaborate?
Its highs are truly exemplary with Leaders and Unfurl being two of my all time favorites from the band but as a whole it's probably their most samey record throughout and the hardest for me to listen to in one full go. It also has a fair number of my least favorite songs from the band, with My Twin in particular rubbing me the wrong way with how "single bait" it is. Katatonia's not the kind of band who should be aiming for that, it doesn't fit them well.
ITT: we post great albums that get unnecessary hate
>>74600737
where's yours OP?
>listening to weezer in 2017 year of our lord
imagine being this stunted in growth
>>74600737
Not sure I can say it's a great album, but I love "I Want You To" as a fun summer song.
I'm a piece of shit and hate myself
music for this feel?
Used to like this album. Kinda think it's shite now but still a nice listen from time to time. Probably up your alley given the album you posted. Listen to the acoustic version btw... it's far superior.
