"The "I" who speaks in this book is by no means the author. Rather, the author wishes that the reader may come to see himself in this "I": that the reader may not simply relate to what is said here as he would to history, but rather that while reading he will actually converse with himself, deliberate back and forth, deduce conclusions, make decisions like his representative in the book, and through his own work and reflection, purely out of his own resources, develop and build within himself the philosophical disposition that is presented to him in this book merely as a picture. "is fist-fucking not the sexual invention of the twentieth century, a new model of eroticism and pleasure? It is no longer genitalized, but focused just on the penetration of the surface, with the role of the phallus being taken over by the hand, the autonomized partial object par excellence. And, what about the so-called Transformer or animorph toys, a car or a plane that can be transformed into a humanoid robot, an animal that can be morphed into a human or robot. Is this not Deleuzian? There are no "metaphorics" here; the point is not that the machinic or animal form is revealed as a mask containing a human shape but, rather, the existence of the becoming-machine or becoming-animal of the human, the flow of continuous morphing. What is blurred here is also the divide machine/living organism: a car transmutes into a humanoid/cyborg organism. And, is the ultimate irony not that, for Deleuze, the sport was surfing, a Californian sport par excellence if there ever was one? No longer a sport of self-control and domination directed towards some goal, it is just a practice of inserting oneself into a wave and letting oneself be carried by it. Brian Massumi formulated clearly this deadlock, which is based on the fact that today's capitalism already overcame the logic of totalizing normality and adopted the logic of the erratic excess." - Gustav Åhr
Is Animals as Leaders the GOAT?
In the Djent scene, yes.
>>74670435
And also maybe in the whole modern metal scene, because at least they aren't "durr, lets play 68 chords per second in our 17 string guitars while somebody screams at the back for 7 minutes".

What does /mu/ think of Pocket Operators?
I am the calculator with my pocket operator
>>74669739
Bought a PO-12, used it for a work and it has been gathering dust since. I have a feeling this has happened to 90% of them. Sounds very 8-bit chip tuney, which I despise, so it was my fault for getting it in the first place.
It is fun and it is nice to have a sequencer in your pocket, but it is so limited that it gets old quickly imo.
>>74669814
Damn. That sucks to hear about the 12. Ive seen so many ppl rave about the 12 in particular, that it was the only one they didnt get rid of and has a huge sound
Is there ever going to be good music again? Is 2017 the worst year ever? Has Fantano surpassed P4K in relevancy?
There's a busy couple of months ahead for releases. Will probably have quite a few soon.

Whenever I listen to this album, I always imagine myself as a tree in a meadow somewhere. I'm swaying and watching the lives of people as they come by and visit or maybe I am next to their house. It's really relaxing.
>>74669708
You're the gayest fucker ever holy shit
>>74669624
It's not an easy album to get into. Well worth the time though.

Considering that Ian was a Nazi, I don't think he'd be singing songs from a Jewish perspective.

wtf? I love joy division now
