:Time tryeth truth; Truth was found and fined:
If you're new to this type of music, download the introductory 3-disc compilation I made for my father's birthday here: mega.nz/#!K8AgGAYQ!drHWbi646tZ3t0DRQZleKbcMBzEeQClX1NzOMzAuETs
Disc 1 contains rock/industrial oriented neofolk that would be accessible to an afficionado of modern "pop" (in the loosest sense of the word) music and is most prominent in the British scene.
Disc 2 delves into more traditionally and acoustically oriented neofolk, a style that is most widespread in the German scene.
Disc 3 gives the initiate a chronological overview of Death In June's discography ranging from their earliest recorded concerts to Douglas' most recent solo output.
(((other Anons are invited to make and share their own introductory compilations, charts, memes and OC)))

>Is Death In Juni really a fascist band?
Draw your own conclusions + learn to think for yourself!
Google Scholar and libgen.io are your friends:
Start with "Death In June and the Apoliteic spectre of Neofolk in Germany" and work your way from there.
>Can I have a link to the Death In June porno?
Huh? What Death In June porno? No, you can't have it.
To anyone interested in virtuoso drummer and noise artist John Murphy (1959-2015):
mega.nz/#!fswDRSBJ!ijbzN0xh8dV5Z2AazgcEelMAYnb2kS9uk-0NX95xWRg
This archive comprises all of Murphy's solo work (Shining Vril) gathered from many neofolk / post-industrial compilations and "All My Sins Remembered", a 2016 commemorative compilation made by friends and colleagues of Murphy featuring among others Nikolas Schreck, :Of The Wand And The Moon:, Blood Axis, SPK, Genocide Organ, Die Weisse Rose and Andrew King. Profits were donated to Murphy's wife to cover for medical and funeral expenses.

Is all political punk music either Communist or Nazi? are people who make music just stupid or something?
Punks tend to be extremists because they're typically outcasts (or were before it became upper class kids). Nazism and Communism are about as far as you can go and the symbols shock people.
>>74684952
I mean.. there's anarchy punk
Most political punk leans very left, but rarely actually supports communism. Hell, I would say the same for a lot of RAC/Oi! that leans right as well. Might wanna actually pay attention to the lyrics instead of over-exaggerating everything as commie/nazi.

songs of any genre and quality will be accepted
you can make more than one track, but don't spam the same shit over and over
additional rules are here https://pastebin.com/4BHpZz3Z
album will be available at https://suicideisanoptionrecordsc2016.bandcamp.com/ once finished

>>74684908
>folk album
>any genre and quality
so no talent fucks can't contribute?
>>74684923

The ballad of johnny dicksniffer (Died doing what he loved sniffing dicks)
Well he is the king of reddit so yeah it's accurate
wew lad, what a quality blog post you got there
>>74684890
I always thought Dave Ghroll was the king of reddit
From 1968 onwards, George Harrison was writing better songs than the other Beatles
>>74684873
>Paul
Still doing granny shit (along some good stuff admittedly).
>John
Songwriting ability somehow got worse with time, maybe due to drugs.
>Ringo
Not much to say but Octopus's Garden is better than any of Johns Abbey Road songs, unironically.
Agreed OP.
>>74684978
>He doesn't rate Paul's granny shit
Sad!
George and Paul were always the best during and post Beatles to me.
Why isn't this revered as one of the greatest black metal albums of all time?
>>74684784
because it is cascadian black metal and cascadian black metal is gay
It is revered. Diadem is an absolute triumph of American black metal.
>>74684816
as in from cascadia? what does that even mean? do bands from there have a certain sound or something? wack cunt
What song is this?
https://youtu.be/ekSSf_63RFs
What album was the turning point between nice ass blues rock and shitty balads
They sold out after 'Done with Mirrors' (1985). DwM was supposed to be their 'comeback album', but it kinda flopped, so in their next album, Permanent Vacation (1987), they got in a bunch of songwriters and completely and utterly and shamelessly sold out to pop-rock and shitty ballads.
I mean they did have a few good songs after Done with Mirrors.
>Eat the Rich
>Dude Looks Like a Lady
>Rag Doll
>Janie's got a Gun
But those songs have absolutely nothing on any song from the album Rocks
>tfw song doesn't have a beat
how do people enjoy music that doesn't make you shake your head to it?
>>74684755
I don't give a shit about the beat to the song. It could be "good" or just not exist in general. I'm more lyrically focused I guess
cause it sounds pretty
>WHEN THE SUN SHINEEEEEES
>THEY SLIP INTO THE SHADE
>AND THE SIP THEIR LEMONADE
>>74684710
Ringo's favourite song they did = my favourite song they did
