Two Headed Boy Pt. 2 should be 4th though

The ending of the album is legit the best most emotional moment of the album anyone who says otherwise is a pleb

No, well maybe in making himself a myth
Is this the greatest prog rock album of all time?
I can see where one might see repeating bars as "redundant". I personally see that as an obvious tongue-in-cheek humorous approach to not taking oneself too seriously. GG did it all the time. Symmetry in music can get stupidly predictable and boring. Not only would they run a "riff" into the ground once in a while, but they would tweak it, make fun of it, use retards and adagios...as if to see if we are paying attention. They used subtle humor in many of their songs. Pure genius in my eyes.
No this is

From what I understood from varg's videos, he did it in self defense
Why do I get the feeling the vast majority of people, especially the shills anytime art/music is discussed on /pol/* or even here at times, pretend to like classical music? It seems only a minority of people earnestly enjoy classical music and music inspired by classical music. When filthy casuals say they "love" classical music, what they really mean is that they'll give it a go if it happens to be on at a given time and place, but almost never pursue it on their own accord. They never learn the evolution of music from each passing era.
Same line of thinking goes into "loving" art or science. As long as it has the cache of being hip, cool and intellectual, the average schmo gloms onto these labels and pretends to be informed. So fucking disingenuous.
*And speaking of /pol/ and their obsession with "degeneracy," artists and classical composers weren't the paragons of virtue. On the contrary, some were as degenerate as the artists of today. Musicians made outstanding art in spite of their flaws, not because they were morally upstanding people. Mozart routinely mismanaged his finances and happily indulged in scatological humor. In death, he had few mourners and was then dumped into an unmarked grave. The legacy his music enjoys is entirely posthumous because, in life, Mozart was a terminal fuck-up.
I don't like much music made before my time. I know it sounds like a plebeian thing to say but it all feels very restricted by technology at the time and by specific genres and styles
Music in the current year is great because there's more bands than ever before, music is so accessible and there's so many genres and electronics and sounds to pull from to create something truly unique and amazing. I can only see it getting better as time goes on.

Classical Music is white people garbage
Okay, but still; the classical genre has produced works that make any modern music genre pale in comparison.
I made this thread to tell everyone that vaporwave is just the elevator music played as you descend into hell thank you

hilarious that plebtano's picks were more boring than 90% of the musicians they have on, most of whom seemed not to give a fuck. dude gets a platform to dig through a deep collection and talk about whatever he wants and he pretty much just goes for mainstream indie kid stuff he already advertises anyway. i get that he's trying to promote his channel somewhat with more popular picks but i found them super lame.
btw i support the use of death grips intro music and hope it follows him everywhere.

i'm not one to defend fandango, but i think he's one of those record collectors that doesn't actually listen to vinyl. he just wants to have the prettiest pokemon collection

Name a better year
1969
1997
'91 and '69 are both legendary years though
2000
I rmeber him talking about releasing two albums, "monuments to an elegy"(which was "the hard rock the old fans would love"(corgan)) and "night for day" being the "artsy" album/new sound he was going for.
Ogrinally they were suppose to release the same year(2015), then he said it day for night would be released (2016) and now there's no talk about it except for his new solo album(which from the single isn't sounding good).
>>74700609
Has much of anything ever sounded good since Machina 2?
>>74700643
Your are correct, but I still wanted to listen to day for night :(. Any SP fans remember when he was working on releasing another double LP album which was never finished or released. I think it was those kaleidoscope demos
