I find that hard to believe. You can tell the staff still cares about her, giving her noticeable background roles in On Your Marks and Carts Before the Ponies. It's just that the crusaders themselves hardy had any attention through this season, either. They had to try fitting everything they wanted to do with the crusaders in this season in like 3 episodes, so we could get more valuable gems of Rarity and AJ interacting, and Spike being praised. Turns out that young major characters who just reached a major new point in their lives aren't that interesting, in the minds of the people currently in charge.
