I dunno. It could work if they tied up all the Mane 6 character arcs and then made a G4.5 show set in the same world, perhaps after a timeskip, with FiM character cameos.

It would reset the show for a new generation of the target demographic to start on while keeping the incidental demographic interested as well.

>Is Hasbro more or less pushy about adding certain things these days? We saw a lot of product placement early on, but aside from the upcoming swan boat, the concept seems to have waned over time. (At least, I don't think I remember ever seeing Applejack with a pink truck in the show.) Do they give you a lot more freedom than they used to? Or do they still influence a lot of what happens?

It's because it makes it look lived-in. The basic crystal castle thing is a cold, unfeeling, shiny thing filled with sharp angles and flat backgrounds. This shows it with a personal touch on it, though - someone has gone to the pain of decorating it with softer-looking decorations.

The problem is the fact that what makes it look good is solely the decorations. The basic palace is still shit.
