Rundown Amusement park on a pier, Batcolt being hidden in the Lover's Tunnel boat ride, but his signal to the tracking device he totally has on him has been hacked to show him in three different areas, each with one of us in it.

Congratulations, you have set yourself up in the "Topless beach" so named because of during the Nightmare moon rebellion this very beach was used as an execution ground. First by nightmare forces, and then by vengeful Celestia forces, it's said that the very sea turned red, as the not only were combat-mares killed, but their innocent husbands and children.

Legends of haunting kept it at a low real estate value, until one enterprising mare set up top less amusement park. With rides such as the "guillotine drop" coaster, and the tunnel of forbidden love it was fun for all ages.

At least until accidents caused it to close down. Hence why you are there.

Now then,
1)where have you stashed bat-colt?
2)And where are each of you?
3)Also each of you can declare one ride you have trapped, the trapped ride may be used once during the encounter (effect depends on trap).

Reflections are shadows with more color. And so, Dr. Darkmane waits in the Maze of Mirrors. His "Friends" wait in the mirrors, ready to ambush Batmare should he be foolish enough to step inside.

While in the Maze of Mirrors, Darkmane's Friends get +1 to all actions. With a Magnitude of 4 and this bonus, that means they don't have a minus to their rolls anymore!

In the center of the Maze of Mirrors sits Bat Colt's shadow, letting out fake pleas of help/assistance. It reverberates off the mirrored walls and out into the park.

Bat-colt is not stashed with Dreadjaw at the forbidden tunnel of love. In fact, Dreadjaw has kind of forgotten where 'he' helped stash batcolt away.

Most likely due to the devious trap he had set up in the tunnel of love, one that even he had to admire his own cunning.
"I have no idea what the kr-r-raken I'm doing," Dreadjaw declares happily as he applies brute engineering to the ride. As Dreadjaw uses his tail to hammer something in, he enjoys a slice of stolen chocolate cake.

>Ride The Plank: All along the tunnel of forbidden love are depth charges in the water. These are placed and set up just right so that anyone of them can launch an unsuspecting person far into the air and out into the ocean close by.

TADS, with Sir Loin at the controls, is on the Nightmare's Revenge, a coaster not known for it's intense drops, but it's impressive size and length. TADS, hidden inside roller coaster carts, is waiting patiently, a dummy of batcolt with a false tracking device within it.

>Trap: Clipped Wings: When the roller coaster starts and Batmare is on the cart. She cannot escape the area. Via a magical ward placed by the original owners that has thus been modified by TADS, Batmare cannot leave the the car until the ride has stopped (5 turns) by non-magical means. If she tries to fall of or is pushed off, she teleports back onto the ride strapped into a seat (helpless). If she's helpless when the ride stops, Sir Loin can start the ride again.

A silent shadow slinks across the amusement park, and as you weak, it occurs to you that, perhaps, it would have been a good idea to install some security cameras. As it is, you each wait silently.

Finally, one of you hears a sound, TADS, you see someone climbing into the roller coaster. Do you activate it?

TADS waits till he can see them better, pressing a button on his radio that everyone has that we totally mentioned earlier, signalling that he has action going on at his section of the park. he doesn't press the emergency button though, he's totally got this.

Dr. Darkmane waits with a quiet sneer. The Shadow of Bat Colt continues its fake cries for help.

As you wait the bright garnish color sand ridiculous short make it clear. This is not Batmare, but the Pegasus side kick Bluebird, Batmare's sidekick.

Of course if she is here, Batmare cna't be far behind. Activate the coaster now, and catch the sidekick alone, or wait and hope to catch both?

With final prep done, Dreadjaw waits within the tunnel, but near the entrance to see anyone come in. He didn't bother trying to hide, evident by finishing up the last of his chocolate cake with hearable food-eating noises.

TADS trusts in his other villians (or maybe not trust, and actually wants to avoid 1v1 combat with a hero), and signals Sir Loin to start the ride. Lights turn on, and the cart starts slowly ascending the first hill, a magical ward glowing for a moment before fading.

"I've got Blueballs, you folks can get Batbrains."

he says into the radio, before turning to the sidekick. Over the intercom, Sir Loin talks into the microphone,

"Welcome aboard the Nightmare's Revenge. Please keep your hooves, wings, and guts inside the vehicle at all times, and remember- you're in for one hell of a beating."

TADS attacks from stealth, a knife in the dark.

Kero waited in the food court near the pier. A spacious area now that she carefully stacked all the chair and tables neatly in a corner. Perfect for an epic battle of legendary proportions that no pony would ever get to witness, thus making it even more legendary
However Kero had a surprise planned for the Batmare...

Kero knew she was waiting for a trap... And her trap was... None! There was no trap!
Kero decided to fill this place with mines under the planks and sand, hidden mechanisms that would detect movement and shoot metal bolts at the target and even some fake steps that trigger an explosion! And all their triggers were completely hidden from view.

But all these evil gadgets shared one characteristic... They did not work! They would do nothing no matter how much one tried to activate the traps
And that is why her plan was so malevolent... Batmare would always be on the watch for a trap to go off during their encounter, and her mind would be filled with so much worry that she would not be able to focus 100% on the fight as she tried to avoid everything, Only for her brilliant mind and battle perfected body to be exhausted... No doubt Kero would have a smashing victory

Oh poor Batmare... The mental image of the Dark Knightess sweating with her brows furrowed with worry made Kero chuckle heartily as she cleaned the wooden floor as she waited, after all the battleground must always be shining clean
She maliciously whistled a jaunty tune of villainous horror to pass the time as she waited

Startles and unsure, Bluebird, misses by a mile.

Batmare, is not startled, and is instead the startler, handing down from the ceiling she threw a batarang from stealth, auto-critting Dreadjaw for 8 hits. As the first hit lodged into dreadjaw, the secondary roll does not come into play.

"Yarrr-harrrr-harrrr!" Dreadjaw yells out, getting caught by surprise.
"Ye blasted dog! I just got done enjoying me cake! Now ye gone and r-r-ruined me good mood!"
As Dreadjaw complains, he attempts to pull himself back together and yank out the batarang lodged in him.

Dreadjaw grabs the offending leg of batmare, and lifts her over Dreadjaw's head, She is then slammed down, back first, against a hard part of Dreadjaw's tail.

When he lands in the ocean, Dreadjaw only growls and his gills flare as he breathes.
"That's it; she's chum now!"
With great speed, Dreadjaw takes the shortest route possible back to the amusement park, traveling through the water as much as possible.

Growling a bit, Dreadjaw heads back inside the forbidden tunnel, looking around the place.
"I know ye be herrrre, Batmarrrre! Show yeself!"

You somehow, somehow, manged to remove the seat-belt, rather than the mask.Bluebird is free. And with the third turn over, the ride ends. "Take this!" she shouts, ramming you. Until she is rendered helpless, Sir Loin cannot restart the ride. [1d10+1]

Meanwhile, at the hall of mirrors, batmare drops down to batponies shadow. With lightning reflexes, she realizes something is wrong, and whirls to face her attackers.

"RAAAAUGH!" Dreadjaw yells, wrecking the tunnel of love up with his hooves and tail. Once some mindless destruction was done, he growls and disarms a few of the depth charges. He then takes them with him, heading off to where the nearest, hearable commotion was: the roller coaster.

"Ah, Batmare. At last," Dr. Darkmane says from the shadows, his voice echoing around Batmare. "You've arrived just in time. We're about to have a party. And, you're the guest of honor."

Darkmane's Friends leap out of the mirrors, attacking Batmare form every direction. [1d10]

Meanwhile, in the darkness somewhere in the maze, Dr. Darkmane raises his own shadow as a SUPER SHADOW!

Batmare doedges the shadows, and smiles. "Dr Darkmane, I presume?" She then pulls out something from her belt, and tosses a flashbang grenade into the air.

Batmare uses HERO POINTS to encahnt the effect of her grenade.

Barmares light grenade proves highly effective against the shadows. Against the minions it is an aoe and does 4 dmg, reducing them one magnitude( plus one hit). Against the super shadow it does one hit. Against Dr darkmane himself it only hurt his eyes, putting him at -1 for his next attack.

Bluebird fails to get up.

TADS says, cackling as he tries to give Bluebird a Glasgow smile with his switchblade, unlike any other iconic villain has before.

At the rollercoaster, Dreadjaw looks up and sees the fight going on. He growls, then begins yelling at him.
"Quit playing with yerrrr food, lad, and help me find the main courrrrse ferrrr tonight!!"

In what can only be a stupid decision, or instinctual rage, Dreadjaw sets up the depth charges at the base of the rollercoaster, and sets a freshly caught fish on one of the charges. He walks away from it to not be caught in the blast, and attempts to set it off with a shot from the blunderbuss.

The horrible abomination that is Darkmane's shadow rumbles down the hall of mirrors and attacks Batmare. The rest of the Friends back off for now.

Explosions rumble the coaster, and it begins crashing around you. TADS barely manages to get out, but Blue bird is not so lucky. You can't see him among the wreckage but he almost certainly defeated and not going to back no sir.

Batmare's own shadow falls under your command. And the super shadow gets in a solid hit. (3 hits) batmare, sensing the odds, and that batcolt isn't here, decides to exit, and vanishes with a smokebomb..

Since Dreadjaw is not a cool 'guy', he watches the explosions go off and it seems to calm him down a bit.
"Aaaaand...."
He jumps, and catches the fish from before, perfectly cooked from the fiery explosion.
"Mmm, mmm, perfect," he says with a mouthful of fish.

Calmed down for now, and enjoying a quick snack, Dreadjaw makes his way to the arcade.
"Hmm...pokerrrrr, orrrr that one games with the hungr-r-ry hippos...."

He ponders to himself what to do when an idea comes to him. If Batmare won't stay in the hall of mirrors, he'll bring it to her!

Oh right, he was being held here. Dreadjaw shrugs, and goes over to the bat-themed crime fighter.
"Alr-r-right, time ferrr a sna-wait," Dreadjaw looks at the racing game, never seeing this much since electronics don't work all that well underwater. The lights and sound kinda draw his attention like a mare in a cake store.

"Hey lad," Dreadjaw begins, taking the gag off and loosening him enough that he can move his hooves, but still keep him bound to the chair, "ye will play this with me, got it?"
Whether he said yes or no, Dreadjaw rips a panel off the machine, grabs the coins within, and inserts them into two racing games: one for himself, and one for batcolt.
"These things don't like the waterrrr, and I don't get much time ferrrr fun like this."

"...show me how to play, firrrrst? This be nothing like sailing a ship."

Dreadjaw begins racing bat colt, taking a few game to get the hand of it before starting in earnest, then just as he's really enjoying himself, a batarang flys towards him.

With the sneak attack,Dreajaw takes 4 hits, combined with the two from earlier, the good captain is down to 2 hits. "Batcolt, stop playing." Batmare growls

TADS stares at the bathroom mirror, staring into it but with nothing to look at. He takes off his mask and looks at his feminine face, mane still buzzcut.

"Why am I doing this? What do I plan to get get out of it?"

He looks at his mask, the bloodied white smiley face looking back at him.

"Huh, I do really good crocheting, don't I?"

he puts on his mask again, breaking the mirror for good measure,

"Might as well take all the bad luck I can get."

he says, teleporting to the arcade.

"Hey guys, hey batmare."

"Moh, cohme ohn!" Dreadjaw says, clearly upset, but with a mouthful of steering wheel since he found it easier to steer the car via steering with his mouth. He spits it out, causing the car to come in last place.
"Fine then, if ye want to play rough...."

Dreadjaw gets a running start and charges at batmare. He goes shoulder first, but keeps running to bullrush her through a wall and bring her into the ocean.
