Overall I like the plot, even if it moves at paces a damaged Dalek could outspeed, and the character development is pretty decent as well. Fanfiction is a literary joke in part because the faggots that make these bloated nothing stories interpret "the more words and bigger the story, the better it is!" and is certainly not helped by a readership that shares this mindset. Fuck's sake, one of FO:E's biggest selling points is "it has a lot of words".

There's no appreciation toward succinct, concise storytelling because everyone is obsessed with filling them with as many words as they can to pad it out and make it look big.
