Which ones do you want to see?
>"Hey Anon! Would you like to go to the reef today?"
Finally finished my shitty doodle.
So, new Vamp thread soon.
That would actually be hilarious.
"Hey everyone! I'm nightmare moon!"
"No you're not, nightmare moon is our princess and she's over there. You're just some nearsighted filly with bad vision."
Fuck you Thread header reminder!
I do what I want!
Reminder that Mango is a smelly poner.
Also, we're up.
Humansland on equestria.
Humanstrying to survive.
Control Poners trying to rescue the survivors.
__________That's it___________ Too bad any mention of Humans sends people off the edge.
Time cop horse.
Our MC is contacted by time police after they do something to save a random pony who wasn't supposed to be saved. Time police later revel our MC has the strange ability to retain memories over separate timelines, and need their help to stop time crimes.
I always thought that going to do things for the mysterious organization and fixing time anomalies or fight crime might be too similar to Threshold or even Hijack at times.
I also wanted to have a preestablished timeline that would change depending on player actions as they leapt through time and changed history.
Probably a bit too complex for a runnable quest.
I would play this.
I would play this too.
Not this one though. Nothing against the plot, it's just that the version of time travel that you described irritates me. I still wish you the best of luck with it if you decide to run it, though.
That's the most disgusting and uninteresting piece of shit idea I've ever seen.
Sadly it's 7 words long.
>saved someone who was not supposed to be saved
Implies that the past can be changed, but that there is a "right" version. Who decides which version is right? The original version? Wouldn't every version look like the original version to you once time changes?
If you mean the OP of my thread, then thank you.
If you mean the image on my post, then I'd like to say that I didn't draw it. I think it was Mango fan art posted while FrankenAnon was running. It could also just be a random stinky poner that happens to look like Mango, but I couldn't find anywhere that image had been posted before.

>What version of time travel would you like to see?
One that makes sense.
Every time Inept included a comment about Muffin's figure I got a special feeling.
The kind that involves a bitch'n 80's sports-car!
Agreed. Pick a time travel theory and stick with it consistently.
You can't change history, and thus there are no paradoxes. You can only cause things to happen how they were going to. Most of us have probably seen "Roswell That Ends Well" and know what this looks like.
You can change the past, and this destroys the original timeline. You are now a timeline orphan. This wouldn't work for the quest you described unless the whole shadowy organization followed the MC everywhere to keep from being affected by timelines being destroyed.
Paradoxes can happen, but either they don't affect time travelers, or they take a couple of days to do so like in Back To The Future. This version is bullshit.
Ah. I had a feeling someone would have an issue with predetermined timelines.
If I was going to run this quest, the time cops you work for would indeed be trying to preserve what they consider to be the original timeline. The only way they can tell the difference between their original and their current timeline would be with the help of what timecop HQ call 'seers', which is what our MC is. Someone who can see and feel when the timeline shifts.
As for whether the original timeline is the right one, that would be something I would want to leave I'm the hands of the players.
Everyone loves moral choices right?
Unless the entire organization is made up of seers, they would shift too. The organization may not even exist in a lot of timelines.
And how would such an organization even get started? Everyone is already in their original timeline by definition unless they are actively time traveling at the time of the change.
Not the part I was objecting to. I wasn't asking how it is made, I was acting how it was made so it could survive time shifts. It only takes one shift to obliterate it, and then there is no organization to try and correct time.
Again, thank you so much, Shiro. This is some high-quality poner
A sequel to Into the White
>takes place a month after Into the White
>the PC is the sister to the previous MC
>they are on a quest to find their lost sibling
>their plane is caught in a bizarre blizzard and crash into the wilderness
>survival quest 2.0 begins
Over time, some weird shit would start happening:
>the landscape doesn't match anything on your maps
>players discover the crashed plane from the previous quest, but it's decaying and rusted, as though it had been there for years instead of months
>megafauna that went extinct millions of years ago roam the icy wilderness
>deranged messages appear in the snow around your camp while you sleep
>you begin to suspect that someone is stalking you
>things are not what they seem
Unlike Into the White, this wouldn't be a pure survival quest. I think survival quests are too hard to do because in that genre it's difficult to form a plot and supply the players with strong prompts.
So, this will be more of an adventure quest with survival elements.
I was thinking of calling it "Into the Black," or "Into the Unknown" or something like that.
If you're going yo have all kinds of mysterious crap happening then you don't need to have a plane crash. and actually it might be better for them just to get lost in the blizzard driving around of hiking to try to find Piney.
Also, I'm not personally a fan of the everyone's connected thing so the MC being the Pine's sister thing is kind of a turn off. It could just as easily be any other search and rescue ponel.
I was thinking something similar to the world lines of Steins;Gate, or possibly a branching timeline style.
I make no promises. Especially since this is still in planning phase. I don't even know if this will ever run.
I don't think anyone has actually said they want this or not yet.
Well obviously. Can't have time travel without bitchin' sports-cars!
'Roswell' is the Futurama episode right? Yeah, that makes for fun stories, but not playable quests.
What do you mean? I mean they just go back in time, solve a problem, and then that timeline is-
Oh shit. Yeah, I clearly have a couple things to work out if I ever want a hope of seeing this story work.
Making our time agents paradox proof would probably cause more problems then it solves.
Oh yeah. that'd be a problem.
>"HQ! I have solved the time fluctuation! Can I go home now?"
>404 error HQ not found.
Time pone is thus stranded.
>remove the plane crash
That's fine, the blizzard is the important part.
However, the sister thing is rather necessary. Like the other Anon said, it provides a clear goal.
I don't want this to be pure survival, where the only concern is protecting your own life. There needs to be some motivation that keeps the PC progressing forward.
There also needs to be an end point to the quest other than death or rescue; because the players don't want to die and they can't control when they're saved.
Plus, I've planned some nice mindfuck scenarios that require the family connection to work.
But this is all just a speculative pipe dream, 'cause I'll likely never even begin this CYOA. Hooray for aneixty.
Kojak and Scoops
You're a cop on the edge a real loose cannon, but when your Sargent partners you with a by the books officer from another dimension. you have no idea what adventures await you.
You play as detective Scoops, tracking down criminals and helping your partner discover the secrets of his arrival in a 1970's style Equestria.
When the city is in trouble Sometime you're the only thing between order and total anarchy!
What happened to Cutie Clash?
It was pretty neat and had a good story
The panic dead character was kind of a down but everything else neat
That one where they're in the last alternate dimension in the season finale.
cant forget this gem
Is that why she left after "Along the Way," as well or is she just actively screwing with people at this point?
>Being exposed the European works of arts and masterpieces made me realize that if I want to be a good artist I need to do better than draw pony porn on a chinese cartoon webiste
That was the start of a good sex scene.
You guys can't survive without bats, can you?
>Went to college
>Refused to go to several parties because 'muh tanks'
>Is a legit shut in, only thing that motivates her is 'muh tanks'
>Only thing she loves and life is 'muh tanks' and possibly griffons
She's a turbo autist. No wonder you people connect to her
Your reason why you don't like her is my reason why I do like her. I prefer my characters fucked up in the head. Think about the main characters of the actual show: we've got ADHD, neuroticism, social anxiety, narcissism, and histrionics. Well adjusted people are boring.
>pegasus guard who wants to be referred to as "Sir" in buttquest
I-I kinda feel bad about the way Sunshine got cucked
We've devolved into shipping over in Long Name. Anyone have any opinions on who would go well with a charismatic but socially manipulative unicorn baroness who has deep-rooted feelings of inadequacy over her species?
>has deep-rooted feelings of inadequacy over her species
This stud might be able to change her mind
Short question and advice request. I feel like running today and I have half of stuff prepared. However there are only about three hours [plus/minus half an hour] between me and my bed. Should I do it or simply wait for better times?
I don't really think any of these ponies have the ability to host a ball big enough worth mentioning.. Are they even classy enough?
But I love pineapple. I like it raw, I like it cooked, I like it fried, I like it baked, I like it with cheese, I like it every way. It's such a pleasant combination of fresh and sweet and juicy and savory-tomatoy.
>All these replies hardly a minute apart.
Stop trying to force this shit.
!JD was the QM for Heat, and is running a new quest. He also goes by Aight and other names. He said he'd be back today but isn't.
Coltshan is a meme. You'll need to figure that one out by lurking.
Here's a damn meme permit. Now go to pineapple, look through the archive, and rejoin us when you're done.
