Storytimes are actually part of the reason I ever started buying comics. Someone did it for issue #1 of pony and it was good enough that I bought it to see it in print. I skip on the ones I don't like, but I really do like how they look physically.

Not as good as I had hoped, but better than I had feared.

The characters were treated relatively fairly, it's been a long time since we've had a Dash this good in the comics. Spitfire was OK too, especially the callback explaining her behavior in WA.

I absolutely love the art, it's adorable as fuck, but the artist should probably watch the show before trying to draw any more backgrounds.

Sadly, beyond that it didn't have that much to it, I didn't find it particularly funny or interesting, so maybe a 7/10

The name, junior flyers summer camp, tells us it's probably a paid camp. Plus it's located in Cloudsdale, quite a long way from Ponyville.

Scootaloo is definitely a late bloomer, both in getting her cutie mark and flight, but it's uncertain whether she's disabled or not. Fluttershy was pretty fucking terrible at flying when she earned her cutie mark, so Scootaloo might not be that far behind her.

Mixed feelings. I though the story was adorable and added a bit more to Spitfire and Rainbow Dash. But it was rather predictable and unoriginal as fuck sometimes. Same for the artstyle, it felt nicely expressive and adorable at some points and utterly wrong and unfitting at others. Plus that it seems the artist couldn't grasp much of the background style concepts of the show.

6/10 for the mere fact that I could find enjoyment in it. If not I'd score it worse.

I really like this artstyle, I feel like it would look really smooth animated. It's a lot curvier and has a better flow than the usual FIM style, and gives all of the characters a better range of expression. Also, the story was p good, not too terrible for anyone. easily 7/10.

Say what you want, but I admit it was Reflections that hit the final nail in the coffin for the comics to me. I had enjoyed all of Cook and Price's work up until that point, I think the Luna Micro was the last thing before that arc was published that they had worked on, and I loved it. When this arc released it's second issue, it became clear they really didn't give a shit about learning from their mistakes, couldn't breath air outside their comfort zone and where confirmed to be as biased as many speculated them to be. And also this arc revealed Bobby Curnow's amazing unproffesionalism, the Ted Anderson shit cemented it.

So, why give a shit about something the people behind it are not really putting the best effort behind for. Specially when it shows in their work.

But mostly they got too full of themselves, take for example such a simple thing as the Observer that Price draws in the background, he started off as a silhouette, then a pony in a crowd, then he was in the front-row all of a sudden during Luna micro IIRC, and in reflections he's given him a speaking role and put him on the cover. They've lost focus of the pony they're supposed to be doing, and are instead doing their own form of referential circlejerking.

I guess another thing is that people were OK with their misrepresentation of for example Pinkie and especially RD in favor of AJ and Rarity, thinking it was either a one-time thing or an accident, thinking their time would come eventually. Things never changed though, and they're still shitting on Dash as much as they can, and grabbing any AJ or Rarity issue they can, it's no wonder people are getting fed up.

The writing was decent enough and the art style was pretty cute if a tad obnoxious, but I really wish this guy had done some research. The architecture is generic and literally every pony besides Spitfire and RD was an OC. At least there wasn't a glut of distracting references but even the Wonderbolts were unrecognizable.

6.5/10 anyway.
