Exactly what the title implies.
>god tier fandom music
I mean it's like you're not even trying
all I can think of off the top of my head
>not realizing the serious potential within the fandom
It's like you're just trying to be a faggot.
>Most potential within the fandom.
Waltz for Trixie:
that was actually really good
not really my style
have some parodies. my favorite genre
Mane 6 Fugues.
One fugue for each of the mane 6, expressing their character in amazing counterpoint.
Fugues are very difficult to write, dense in counterpoint and structure. There is a lot to appreciate here.
Each character's fugue is also played with a different instrument fitting that character.
If you're not fond of one fugue, go to the video description to go to the next character's.
It takes a trained ear to appreciate the self-interplay of the subject in each fugue. There's a reason the composer left the subject displayed for the entirety of each fugue. Fugues are not easy listening. To appreciate a fugue takes concentration and analysis.
That said, while very good, I'm not sure if the Mane 6 Fugues qualify as quite "God-tier".
It's okay anons, not all of us have to be creative.
The mayo you're spreading here is not funny, nor clever, however... at least put in some effort next time, really.
classical music will never be cool again anon
gotta get with the times
would be nice if i could learn a new piano piece from him tho
>IP - OCTAVIA TAKES THE BUS (cello concerto 1st mvt.) John Doe .
I've lost count of all the Feel Good Inc parodies. I think there are at least four.
^Not cheating. The song is partially about Lyra.
^This one's in 5/4 time.
I am Octavia. Even has its own video now.
>all of those augmented seconds
For niggas who don't know their scales.
Whatever happened to Psychedelic Brony?
The guy just disappeared and then suddenly faded into absolute obscurity, which was a shame considering he had some of the most unique music from the fandom.
Here's an example
If you can deal with something a little heavier (including growls), Secret Metal's "Elements" is one of the best metal songs in the fandom. (Though there isn't much competition tbh)
I never actually got into Iced Earth that much tbh. But yeah, Secret Metal is perhaps one of the most underrated names in the fandom, which I guess makes sense considering he provides some of the only decent dirty vocals in the whole fandom
No. It's the big collab one he did with some other guys.
It's nothing too special, but it's the only song he's taken part in that I'd consider listening to in my free time
This may technically be a whole EP, but it still can be considered the length of one song so here goes.
Possibly my favourite work by Replacer. The guy's got such a nice style to him.
Im going to go get posters made from all these little definitions that are at the start of the standard model videos
They're alright, but honestly Rise of the Crystal Shadow is the only song of theirs I like.
Also to give the final main of the metal area of the fandom his due, here's some Canapplejack.
Gonna post a few of his songs.
And my personal favorite.
I always liked Canapplejack's style. Instead of focusing on the usual "technical" style of prog metal, he went for a more atmospheric approach, even to the point where you could consider some of his songs to be ambient.
No one does progressive house better than Archie. Shame he is currently on his deathbed.
Yeah, he jumped many channels over the years deleting and reuploading songs, it's a mess. You find almost all of his songs in these 2 albums, one is free, other is $10.
General Mumble should stick to doing experimental works under his "?" pseudonym.
Seriously, almost everything he does under that name is fucking amazing.
(The real meat and potatoes start at 0:45)
Seriously, it's amazing how he goes from the usual dancey stuff to doing these neat experimental songs.
I used to listen to him around when he just started (iRock, Lights Around, Dodge This) but I dislike the fact that he uses plenty of samples and soundpacks instead of making his own sounds, makes his songs sound generic.
shit man. thats just mind blowing. Was there even a campaign on like EQD even with all there autism im sure they would get this funded in an hour.
Holy, I never knew about this. Apparently some big names (Tombstone, Eurobeat Brony, Silva Hound etc) are collaborating on an album to raise him money, which is sweet as and I will definitely buy now I know about it.
Fuck that shit man. That kid took him self out over complete bullshit that he could have prevented himself. But this, this shit is something you can't just opt out of.
If I was 2 years older and out of college already I would be dropping cash left and right for archie.
I fucking hate this world
Im actually pretty sad after reading the donation page, the med documents and you posts
Even though I'm not that big a fan of Archie's stuff, I'll donate to that. I can clearly see that Archie puts good effort into his work, even if it isn't to my tastes.
The guy deserves better
