"Uh, when general Phoenix started to throwing those weird tentacles all over the place I panicked. Like, seriously panicked. And then I found myself lost in the forest. And when I had finally managed to leave it the carriages were gone, so I just went back to the city. I got really lucky that refugees from Prosperity had already arrived, so I found those two nice teleporta-, teleportola-, uh, the unicorns who teleported you to the city, remember? So I found them and they took to me to captain Scarab. Then that stallion came, told me that you all are safe and general Phoenix is okay. After that both generals and that stallion talked with me for a while and I asked them to see you. But you were sleeping, so I decided not to wake you all up and take a nap." - filly eagerly replied and then began to whisper conspiratorially - "Actually I could not sleep, so I sneaked up to your room to make sure that you all were all right and then returned back to my room."
"That... went better than I expected." - you smiled - "And who is this stallion exactly?"
"I dunno, he didn't really told me his name, but he seems to be kinda important judging by the way captain Scarab talked with him."
"She is pretty clever for her age." - smirked the stallion. Then he took a couple of steps towards you and the filly, revealing his cutiemark - a three-headed serpent - "Now, Last Word, would you please leave us for a while? We need to have a private conversation."

Anon and at least one Zodiac should stay to investigate the discovery. Send Libra back with the ball to inform the others. She can fly so she'll be faster and have a better viewpoint in case anything goes wrong. If it's an emergency she can just launch the ball at the castle to raise the alarm.

The problem is that the writers began to see her as less as an actual character and more of a plot point. Now if a character needs some sagely advice or ability but can't turn to Twilight or Celestia? Bam, just chuck Zecora in there for a couple of minutes and get a potion or advice from her. It's unfortunate but as >>29641630 said, unless she's critical to the plot the writers simply aren't going to waste their time thinking of rhyming dialogue for her unless they really need to. Originally it seemed as though she was going to be some sort of mentor initially for the CMC but the writers just never ended up taking her down that path and so now she just sits as an underdeveloped character used almost entirely to move the plot forwards and nothing else.

>Spice Up Your Life
Pinkie and Rarity is a treasured and too rare combo so I greatly enjoyed this episode. The song was good, albeit the animation repetitive. 7/10.
>Stranger Than Fan Fiction
Pretty good, the meta-levels of the discussion between Dash and Quibble about the books were VERY cheeky and funny. Quibble was a good new character, and I ship them. 7.5/10.
>The Cart Before the Ponies
Meh. Kinda boring, Apples, Rarity, and Dash were pretty annoying (yes I know that was the point) and the whole plot and resolution was just uninteresting. 4/10.
>28 Pranks Later
Obligatory zombie episode was surprisingly entertaining. Pinkie was great and funny, the conflict she felt between stopping Dash and helping her was very interesting. Basically a better version of MMDW, 7/10.
>The Times They Are a Changeling
ANOTHER great Spike episode, and Thorax was cute and funny. The song was...bad. I'm sorry. Spike cannot sing and the lyrics sucked. Other than that, pretty good. 8/10.
>Dungeons & Discords
SPIKE IS ONA ROLLLLLL. Discord was alright too I guess. Honestly my favorite part was the ending shot where Pank and Dash join the fun. 7/10.
>Buckball Season
Pinkie was too fucking cute this episode with that mane style. That alone makes it AT LEAST a 7/10. Episode itself was good too, I like the concept of buckball and the friendship between Pinkie and Flutters. 8/10.

Eh, it was boring. Gabby was cute but kinda annoying, the song with her was meh, and I was kinda happy when it was over. 5/10.

I liked it. The shenanigans with the brainwashed 5 were really funny and seeing Glimmer totally misunderstand friendship was believable and cute. BUT THEY SHOULDNT HAVE FORGIVEN HER, SHE WAS A PSYCHOPATH oh fuck off, it's a god damn children's cartoon. This is an instance where that excuse is ok; stop reading too much into this. 7.5/10.
>P.P.O.V. (Pony Point of View)
Nautical setting was refreshing and led to some great jokes. The antagonism between the ponies over the ruined trip was realistic and believable, friends fight over stupid shit all the time. 8/10.

Eh, it was alright. Nothing really to say about it, honestly, except that filly AJ was adorable. Comedy was good too, 7/10.

Very good episode. New characters were great, teacher Twilight was funny and natural, and Dash and Twi were both very in-character and their debate over Sky was interesting. 8/10.
>To Where and Back Again
Ho boy. Part One was definitely stronger, mainly because of Trixie and Glimmer. Discord was ok, but him being there was kinda pointless if he couldn't use his powers. Thorax is top-tier bug, nu-changelings are awful, and I'm glad Chrysalis was not reformed. I am also ok with the Mane 6 being captured and out of the plot; sure it was contrived, but it made the episode better by allowing focus on the other characters. 9/10 - 7/10 (each part respectively)
