ITT: I, OP, will be taking you on a ride through the third age of Equestria. A time long before the original Elements of Harmony were born, with the unification of the three pony tribes still fresh in the minds of Equestrians everywhere, where Princesses Celestia and Luna struggle to maintain peace under the chaotic reign of Discord and ordinary ponies rise to the occasion with the dreams of becoming great heroes and defending their young nation. You are Pocket Knife, a small unicorn in a big world. With your best friend, Strawberry Fields, you take on the annual tournament held by the Sisters where ponies compete in a series of duels to win a great prize: a favor from Princess Celestia and Luna themselves.

This quest will be run in a tabletop system, the 5th edition of D&D to be exact. Meme at me all you want, but this is how I want to do it. It’s fun for me, and I’ll make it fun for you if you trust me and play along. Mechanical babble will be at a minimum except when you guys ask for it. I will, of course, be acting as the Dungeon Master and you all as the players. Feel free to ask any questions on how I run things.

Before MLP I was just a normal shut-in NEET. I had my vidya, my normie porn, and I DIDN'T TALK ABOUT MY FEELINGS to anyone who didn't have masters degree and was being paid.

Then the horses showed up, and I joined a message board to talk horse with other horse fans. Then the horse talk led to things not directly horse related. Within a month or so I was going on full feelfaggot escapades over PM's and Skype.

Everyone always says to be open about your emotions; don't hold stuff back. They're dirty liars. I didn't feel any better from it all. The more I opened up to my new friends the more I got addicted to airing my grievances, but I never felt any better nor did I feel any more motivated to change my NEET life and be 'healthy'. All that happened was I got more attached to posting online, and my negative feelings became more prevalent until I lashed out one too many times and got myself banned.

Here's what happened when I was banned:

>Panic attack.
>Go downstairs.
>Get knife.
>Threaten life in front of parents.
>Police called.
>Hospital.
>Institution.
>Week surrounded by addicts and suicidals.
>Many cry.
>Think about board every day.
>Vacation to beach ruined because of worry.
>Birthday ruined because of worry.
>One year, five months, two days later.
>Old admin leaves, new one rescinds ban.
>Happy for a few days.
>Old problems are there as if waiting for me.

If I'd just not have watched that first episode... Friendship is a curse. Attachment is cancer. Just look at me now. I'm posting on freaking 4chan when I barely ever used to come here. I take nine pills every night. Another year has gone by with no job. I'm not blaming everything bad that's happened in the last 3-4 years on Pony, but I do think it's arguably made me a worse person. I'm more emotionally fragile and thin-skinned than I used to be. Where I used to be strong enough to hold my feelings back, I now let my thoughts out quicker than an 80 year old with IBS.

Last official day of winter! Does Celestia do anything special to herald spring? In Canterlot, at least, if not some kind of grand spectacle for all Equestria? The Summer Sun Celebration is still months away, but surely the good ponies enjoy seeing the princess involved in the public eye when they can. Though perhaps it's enough if they can witness a simple sunrise without any grand ceremony.

Jim already said that if you wanted a cartoon with strong male characters FiM wasn't for you.

This was before we went on that infamous tirade about how FiM was supposed to be a feminist show and then he had to backpedal after his excuse (as usual) exploded in his face.

The fact he still hasn't gotten a good solo episode and his strongest ones are the ones where he acts as a satellite character for a female (pony, dragoness) only confirm the writers and direction team don't give a shit about males.
