What did he mean by this?
>>29746505
he means he is personally responsible for every character, episode, speech and comic ever written for my little pony ever ever.
you stupid fuck. stop making this thread.

>What did he mean by this?
Why do people keep saying this? It's not funny.
>>29746527
wtf I hate people now
Howdy, partner!
What you see here began as a series of comedy-centric stories with the concept of an alicorn-ascended Princess Applejack trying to change a mismanaged Equestria for the better by humorously interacting with the other, quite lazy, princesses. Plus late night pink antics.
Not to mention a whole bunch of Changelings with nothing better to do but cause mischief.
The whole thing was set in motion by this gem:
~~~~~
>So, wait, why am Ah' a princess again?
>Because you seem to be the only goddamn one of those ponies who gets that a Princess need to do actual work regarding maintenance of the kingdom. You know how much city planning or trade negotiations Twilight or Luna have done? Fucking nothing. Everyone is obsessed with the world ending threats they think I should fight, but the minute I point out the free health care I have to work to maintain everyone goes quiet. And don't even get me started on Cadence, who can't even manage a basic meeting with the Equestrian Games representative. Fucking annoying. Go do actual princess stuff, because apparently everyone else got the pamphlets mixed up or something and thinks "Princess" means "Beat cop."
~~~~~
Are you feeling creative? Try your hand at writing a story! No contribution is too small and we love having new folks around.
If you're more artistically inclined give a drawing or sketch a shot. Don't fret too much; it doesn't have to be fancy and we appreciate artwork a lot.
If that isn't your style either, writers always need feedback. So tell us what you liked - and what you didn't - to help us improve.
If you are unsure about anything, do not be afraid to ask. We will gladly bring you up-to-date or explain anything you feel is unclear.
Thread 188! And it's time for an ending so great!

"it’s about time for our monthly work stream to show you guys some stuff in motion. This time, we’re scheduling it for Friday, March 24. Same time (3PM PT), same channel (twitch dot tv/manesix).
If you’ve got any questions, comments, doubts or whatnot, you can come in to the stream and have a talk with us. We’ll be going through a general overview of the game progress and showing what’s been new since last stream, as well as talking a bit about what’s still needing to be finished and what the extra time will allow us to do."
I'm almost kind of scared of the stream. Even with the release date pushed back to the end of May, I already know I'm going to look at this and go "there's no way they're getting done in time". I mean watching all the streams I want to say I've gotten a good idea of the speed at which they get things done and it's just not looking too good.
>>29734906
On my case, the delay was like a wave of relief over me since I was also on the camp of people that thought this was going to be a launch disaster.
Now I'm ready for some comfy stream shenanigans.
>>29734940
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a relief for me. It's weird. I've been voicing my concern a couple of times that the speed at which they work doesn't *quite* seem up to the task of getting done in time.
Now the additional month just seems like a bandaid trying to fix a gaping wound. Maybe they should rather have said two months or something - or nothing. Because the fact of the matter is they never every actually pinpointed a date, even on the crowdfund page all they ever gave was a rough estimate. So they could really just have flat out said "we can now say it will take till X" and if that's two months from the first estimate then that's how it is.
But now they already went and said "sorry we couldn't make it happen in april, but it's coming in may promise". There wasn't even really a need for that. Now chances are their either have to rush their asses off and scrape some polish or delay again.
>tfw missed out on the 2011 MLP phenomenon and all the memes/culture.
Is it too late to get into it now?
This show and fandom is too good, don't get into it or your enjoyment will consume thousands of hours you could use to improve your life.

>A horse's lips are quite sensitive. So much that if you pinch them, it releases a ton of endorphins and dopamine that put the horse into a blissful trance.
>It is a common practice among horse farmers to do this to calm them down or administer medicine, usually using a tool called a "Twitch" to latch onto the horse's mouth.
Forget booping the snoot or scratching the ears, lip pinching is the REAL trick to lovin your pone
This reminds me of that guy who told us how horse vaginal muscles are extremely strong, and are physically impossible to rape. They can also prevent you from pulling out.
>look up what a Twitch is
>imagine pones using them on each other
>yfw pony bsdm is more mainstream than you'd think
So, I'm having a bet with a friend. Because Asian ponies exist in this world, I was imagining if the country of Oatsaka is a good place for Japanese ponies. My friend says my pun-making skills for naming fictional horse countries is lame. Do you agree?
Also, Asian Culture thread.
>>29755767
Oatsaka would merely be a city in Japony (or Nippony).
>>29755793
Interesting. I like the name of Nippony being the country, but Japony is kinda goofy and a bit of a stretch...
>>29755821
The problem with Nippony is the racist connotations.

Why does Equestria Girls make like every mistake possible? Why are its fans even worse and go whole hog with its horribleness?
>>29755264
You can just as easily say with all the recent mistakes the FiM staff are making and the pony centric deviantart cringe that has existed since day one. Do you really want to go down that rabbit hole?
>>29755264
I like it just to make you mad
>>29755264
EG made "mistakes" in the first movie because they thought they were only gonna make one so they bullshitted a bunch of stuff because they thought it was temporary and didn't need any world building.
It was when Hasbro told them they were gonna be making more that they got their shit together. They had to improvise a lot of stuff to cover mistakes from the first. Every EG since the first has been pretty decent imo, and the only "mistakes" they make are things Hasbro forces them to do.
But due to its initial shittiness, it can only get better and that's what we've seen. EG overall is getting better as all the heart and passion left the show with Ishi and Daniel Ingram. Ingram still makes songs for FiM but his EG ones are much better.
FiM is dying and is making real mistakes while EG is only improving and testing out new things.
EG is the future whether you like it or not.
Have fun guys
