Last Word burst out laughing as the Lunar Mage caught a sudden fit of cough, and even you couldn't help but chuckle at such display.
"W..I- W-why are you even asking?" - he blurted after clearing his throat.
"Oh, don't be so shy. Tell me her name." - you purred - "Or maybe even his?"
"W-what are you implying!?" - he jumped from the surprise and Last Word laughter became at least two times louder.
"Well, with your looks one could say, that perhaps you have quite unconvencional interests." - you sheepishly grinned.
"It's - you - arrgh." - he groaned in frustration.
"Just tell me her name. It would be enough to dispel my doubts. Or, wait a minute." - you covered your mouth with your forehoof, faking amazement - "You never had a special someone?"
"Yes, I have never participated in romantic relationships!" - he growled - "Is that enough?"

Emerald asks about what she plans to do with the potion.

"O-oh you know, this and that..." She says, chuckling nervously and starting to walk back towards the greenhouse again.

Emerald speeds up to trot along side her and says that maybe she's going to revive some ponies that are dead. Some ponies that she regrets are dead.

Emerald sees a slight shiver go up her back, but she doesn't say anything else.

The colt decides to go in for the killing blow, and says that he heard what she did, and says that she shouldn't be ashamed for wanting to revive the people that she has killed.

"A-ashamed?" She says, suddenly stopping and letting her haunch hit the floor. Emerald doesn't realize this for a second or two and stops to turn around and look at her. She is hugging herself, and biting her lips. She is also shivering pretty badly.

Emerald starts to say that it's okay to be regretful about it, the first step is-

"Ashamed? Regretful? Of course I'm not! Those... Those guys weren't really ponies. They were demons! Monsters! You can't even imagine the way they treated me! I was bullied by those... FIENDS. All throughout my time in school." She bursts out into that cackling laughter again, and then says, "And then what. They get to live their lives like nothing happened afterwards? No. No! I won't allow it!"

She hugs herself tighter and starts shivering more, and then her head shoots upward in a rather rapturous manner and she says, "I killed them. I killed them all! Well almost. That idiot Kirlian has all the luck. First he gets recruited by Olam, and then when I finally manage to pursue him here Olam makes me promise not to hurt him... Tch..."

Emerald starts to back away. He... Can't say he was prepared for this.

There’s no one way to cure it, but, if you can’t write, you may as well read stories. There’s more to writing than writing; there’s reading too, and that helps. Check some of the links above.
Try the following (keep in mind this won’t work for everyone):
-Figure out when it’s the best time for you to write.
-Fap then write*.
-Write anyway, and allow yourself to write shitty stories. More often than not, the block is the fear of it being bad. That’s what editing is for.
-Seriously, drink coffee. It’s a writer’s best friend.
-Listen to music while writing.

*Unless you’re writing clop, then listen to your boner.

I figured I'd copy over this since there have been three or four people asking about it the last few threads. Though for the most part if people bother to come here they get the basic greentext correct.

Greentext is always second person, and almost always present tense. Every line except for the viewpoint character speaking is green. You don't have to restrict yourself to one sentence per line.

>Why does one into greentext?
To my knowledge, greentext stories were born from quest/CYOA threads. Since the audience was essentially roleplaying as the one making these choices, they were almost always written is second person (just like CYOA books).

Quotation arrows are one of the only forms of markup available on 4chan, so they were used liberally, which eventually settled into this pattern for stories.

If you want to write more typical prose, I've never seen anybody REEE'd at for it yet.


Since I'm at the top anyways, I'll repeat a warning that I've seen a lot of people saying Vhatug's tips for squash are inaccurate. Do some independent research if you give a shit.

Shimmer got scenes where she struggled to earn redemption, got bullied by people that didn't forgive her, earned their forgiveness, etc. Glimmer was instantly given forgiveness, brainwashed her friends when their free thought and better ideas triggered her, was given forgiveness again, and then complained to Trixie that not everypony immediately forgave her for being the worst criminal currently known to Ponykind, arguably bar Tirek. In Pony Humans: Camp Superhero Edition, Shimmer encouraged Twilight and had more than one scene where she displayed empathy and likability. What positive traits has Glimmer shown, besides the occasional scene where she akwardly fucks up something obvious like "Don't run away from an awkward situation like you just shot someone" or "Don't use brainwashing spells on your friends", endearing her to her socially-retarded potentially-mentally-retarded fantards?

Lauren Faust designed the original Mane Six to, in her words, "Represent the different ways that one can be feminine", and she wanted each one to be a good role model in their own way. I'm pretty sure being a sociopathic cult leader that feels no remorse for your crimes unless prompted by the reactions of those you want to forgive you... is not what Lauren Faust would consider a good role model. Feel free to say "Well she was forgiven for all crimes, so that means she represents forgiveness and is a role model that says forgiveness is good". Go to the consultation room if he's still there and ask the doctor if he thinks now is a good time to head to the docks for Captain Tide and ask when we can expect our shipment. And ask if we can have some time to ask the militia about our comotose patient. After returning to the clinic we can go search for the uncle if there's enough daylight, or ask our bat friend if he could help.
