Why did they make this episode?

What was the moral for little girls? Don't be afraid of failure?

Then what was the point of using a college dropout instead of some filly the CMC could hang out with to help make them confident in their abilities like Tender Taps?

Do most young kids need this lesson? Not really. It's more of a problem with adults.

Did they make this for us? Did they make this to spite us? I just feel sad when I remember this episode again.

I have a younger sister who watches MLP and she knows I do too and she told me that I remind her of Flutter Brutter and she told me that I could finish college too if I tried like him.

What the fuck is the point of this episode? I just want fucking cute ponies. I don't want an existential crisis filled with dread and self-loathing.
