Though not really set up as any sort of seasonal resort town, Ponyville's got attraction at any time owing at least to a good location if not solely through good reputation. But the locals are friendly and there seem to be festivals all the time and there's even a castle and a princess living there, too, so it might make a solid destination beyond a layover. How well do ponies FROM Ponyville tend to fare adjusting to other places in Equestria, though? Is the courtesy and custom just other shades or is there no place quite like home?
