THE BODIES DARLING
THE BODIES IN THE ATTIC

I thought it was alright, song was pretty catchy.

That was a pleasantly surprising episode. I am really curious as to how much was Larson and how much was changed, but I can definitely feel some of his magic at work here at least. It was great, I loved all the tongue-in-cheek commentary on the fandom and seeing the Mane 6 all working through their newfound fame, the characters were all on point and I really liked the humor. The only missing role I really wish was here was Spike, I feel like he may have originally been in Starlight's spots as the voice of reason to Twilight's doubts, and though I wish he was here, I didn't mind Starlight taking the place.
On to Glim, Episodes like this are MORE of what I want from Starlight, working with the entire cast as a group and fellow friend rather than standing out and solving everything on her own. She never stole the focus, it really was like she was the 'Spike' of this episode as a foil to Twilight. Even the ending, which did have her find the two fillies, was not her solving everything at once (the rabid fans are still out there, no one can fix us) but merely reminders that there are those who took the lessons to heart. A simple gesture of confidence to the writers of the book. That said, I do really wish they could have found a way to work Spike in, he himself has Journal entries IIRC.

Commie Starlight is best Starlight
I'm not sure just how much is Larson going by the interview but I'm taken to believe/hope a lot of what made this episode great was by his hand. He's definitely my favorite writer and I hope this ep will serve as a good example of his over-all outstanding job making this show, it has good Mane 6 interaction and serves as good meta for its fans.
"Hey, judging matches is my job," You tell her; getting her to giggle, "But, I'm gonna to have to know her better tomorrow. Is there anypony you're interested in?"
"No." She shakes her head.
"What qualities do you seek then?" You ask; leaving out that she had some that you liked.
"Kind, funny, and strong." She says.
What do you do?

What do you think a family reunion?
Last thread I remember mentioned the healing herb and the mysterious buffalo one as some that might help her father? It's better than nothing, unless modern medicine in this cyoa proves to be more effective than magical cures. I don't know the medical level.

Now that you're going out now, I'm sure you'll find a pony with those traits in no time.

If you got the chance to get transported back into 2011 to relive everything you experienced in the fandom (assuming you were around at this point like i was), would you?
I'd do it in an instant, to relive all the joys and wonders of the early days of the show
