Stronger really doesn't though. After Tackle's death, he stops his speeches and such during the rest of the series, but he's back to it in Skyrider, showing that he had left it behind.

That's actually the whole point they could give a speech like that. They had their own share of tragedy, but could go forwards rather than being stuck in it.

why have characters started wearing the exact same clothes for the entire show? I feel like this started with Fourze and it's school uniforms(which made sense) but ever since literally every character has worn the same exact clothes from when they are first introduced until the end of the show.

It went as far back as Double, although I'd consider it closer to styles. Terui had several different colors of the same outfit and Shotaro had a variety of Windscale jackets, vests, and fedoras.

Eiji and Ankh both had themed clothing, with Eiji looking like a vagabond and Ankh always having a red sleeve.

I'm pretty sure Takumi has several different colors/patterns of the same shirt+belt combo, and Shinnosuke had different ties and undershirts. From the series I've seen, only Gou and Makoto literally wore the exact same thing outside of villains/side characters.

I had never wandered into /m before, never realized this is where the toku fans are.

I've got a bit of a problem though... My fav was Kamen Rider Black and I had never seen much of the heisei other than Kuuga, Agito, Ryuuki, Decade, W, Wizard and OOO's.

I tried watching Gaim and can't get through the dance-battle popularity contest theme for these first 6 episodes or so, is it worth sticking around through?

Drive so far has been somewhat boring despite having what should be a cool theme, but I can stick around for it, thanks to the monster designs being done by Takeya.

I still have a hard time watching Ghost too because of how bumbling, unconfident, whiny the main Rider is from the first few episodes + the design.

I'm not here to argue about which Rider is best, just wondering if Gaim and Ghost are worth watching... Especially cause I've heard people raving about Gaim. Also, hi toku fans, nice to know there's a thread here.

The dance stuff is almost entirely ditched after the first 8 eps or so. It's still there as a thing but the rest of the plot becomes compelling enough to make you not really care. And actually, the dance stuff is really fun later on because it's a nice break from the hyper-serious shit that Gaim throws at you constantly from like ep15 and on.

Gaim is similar to Ryuki, it just takes longer to set things up. I'd say it's worth watching, but if it's not your thing I'd recommend going back and watching Blade and Kabuto. In fact all of heisei phase 1 is pretty solid and should be watched, especially Faiz.

Gathering ideas for writers.
Actually there are quite a bit of findings from toku writers choosing their topics for filler episodes.
Take Igami, Inoue, and Kobayashi. Their human-relationship stories are based actual events and news which had happened in the past, and remolded them for toku in an exaggerated way. For older people they can actually tell right away.

The more I dig into it the more reference material I have for others to use, which is fun.

That episode was fucking garbage. The dude and his dad have serious, deep-seated issues, and Takeru just walks in and talks about friendship or whatever the fuck and suddenly they're playing catch and hacking satellites like every father and son should. Even worse, it takes like three tries to actually convince the guy, but nothing meaningfully changes about his approach. The father just randomly has a change of heart near the end because they're running out of time in the episode and gotta get their fight scene in.

I don't know, I think the reasoning behind their dispute was clear: the Father being too guilt-ridden by the death of his eldest son to let himself work on another satellite, and the other son wanting to follow in his father's footstep despite it. The main thing Takeru did was to shine the issue in a different light, saying that the two should work together to realise Nakamura's dream. And since Ryoma's whole deal is having big dreams and following through with them even after death, it all tied up nicely at the end.

If anything, this episode was lacking in fight scenes, although we did see Alain step up to bat and steal the GanGunHand away from Specter, which was neat.

Obviously the cheapest Necrom kitbash to do is either

Nope, from what I checked with Gaim a week or two back they still have DX ones here and there, and the DX ones can be pretty cheap. The only sucky part is if you want Energy stuff, then it gets pretty expensive, especially with a DX Lemon.

I'm not saying all the DX ones are cheap, Grape used to be in the $80-100 range and now it's around $50-60, Watermelon used to be $40+ and now it's $20, Peach is still the same, Cherry went up a bit, Mango, Kiwi, and Strawberry dropped from being $40 each, anything from the movies is still around $24ish, and so on. They're way cheaper than they used to be for most of the retail stuff.
