explain this character to me
I'll reserve the raincoat moniker for the suits I don't like.
At the start, Mach had a time limit. Not a TRUE time limit. It would cause stress to the users body and overheat them.
What rider had your favorite style of fighting?
Kabuto or Wizard. Kabuto had that little effort, defensive palm handed shit going on, which was chill as fuck. Wizard was just flashy, graceful, and stylized as hell. Loved them both.
What >>13855298 said. The setup pose for Kiva's is a little silly, but it's also fabulous as hell. Shadow Moon's kick looks like someone randomly maneuvering all the limbs in mid-air while playing Toribash. >>13855303 is a close second.
>rewatching ZO after like 3 years(one of the first KR things I watched)
>suddenly based Ryoma and Ohba
>tfw I now get why the monsters created by neo-organism are a bat anda spider
I think most of the suits with time limits are due to the suit literally killing the user. G4, IXA, and Dark Kiva for example. Technically all the Ryuki suits have a time limit when in the Mirror World. OOO combo forms put intense strain on the user and could only be used for a short time.
Yet those same jokesubs got him a job with GingaAnon apparently. It was for typesetting, but still
When does this god awful shit get better?
Kuuga Pegasus can only be used for a few seconds before Godai collapses from the pain of using it, since it comes with super-senses but no way of filtering out all the noise. Ultimate has even better senses, but also alters his brain so he can process it just fine.
G4 would kill you after a while from the strain, and then it would keep moving with your corpse in it.
Ryuki suits all have time limits in the Mirror World.
Faiz Axel shuts down after ten seconds. Faiz belts in general have a time limit of until the next stiff breeze rolls by.
IXA is a little less strenuous than G4 but still dangerous to wear, Dark Kiva seems to let you use it however long you like but only three times if you're not compatible.
Accel Trial doesn't seem to actually have a limit for how long he can use the form, but it punishes him if he fails the time trial.
Birth presumably runs out of energy from a Cell Medal after a while, though I don't think it ever actually happens.
Wizard All Dragon has a timer, but surprise, it does fucking nothing.
Watermelon Arms has a recharge period but no time limit while in use.
Drive Deadheat makes you go berserk if you spend too long in it unless you're Mach.
When you switch to Aesir instead of TV-N so the dialogue's not all fucked up.
Seriously, TV-N is bad at the best of times, but Gaim is a plot-heavy show, so their mangling of the lines is even worse than usual.
>Complaining on Episode 3
How are you going to get to through Drives first 20 episodes or Ghost 1-14 if you are complaining already?
Anon don't joke, we all know which one's the best.
The build up is the best part Gaim though. Fruit Jockey fight for dance turfs is stupidly fun, especially when everything starts crumbling.
>Wizard All Dragon has a timer, but surprise, it does fucking nothing.
You mean the Dragotimer? Why, you must have never actually watched the show, the timer is used to create clones. The "timer" refers to how they are summoned.
Except for how he doesn't actually need to wait on the timer, as shown in the only time it was ever creatively used.
Even when he does wait on the timer, the timer makes a full revolution in all of ten seconds. There is literally a fight with Fueki where the audio is a continuous string of "Water Dragon, Dupe Now, Hurricane Dragon, Dupe Now, Land Dragon, Dupe Now" with no pauses.
A few dumb decisions with terms is better than a group that's been time and time again to be completely incompetent. It's a shame Magenta decided to go to the Shadowrealm, because I would've preferred him subbing all of Gaim's extra content rather than the random assortment of literally whos that had to instead.
Japan does furries right, shits gonna be adorable.
>Except for how he doesn't actually need to wait on the timer
Did you even read the post you quoted? Nowhere was it ever stated he had to wait for anything. You have some pretty flawed logic anon, do you actually know how the Drago timer works? There is a wiki on it, and videos online. You can clear up all your misunderstandings!
The Drago-timer was one of the stupidest upgrades in my opinion.
>Instead of giving him a cool new form, let's just re-use the last four upgrades all at once and pretend it's something more than a slightly more fancy Copy Ring.
"Hey Kusaka is a fucking psychopath who tries to kill me on the reg. Better take fucking everything he says completely at face value."
I even liked Kiva, and I had trouble watching Faiz.
Still better than Kuuga though.
The meme secondary and suit designs are the only reasons are anybody gives two shits about Faiz
>Inoue is working on his second rider show? Agito was awesome, this should be really fun!
Not that guy. I think it was less Takumi believing Kusaka than just anybody in Faiz at all even bothering to give Kusaka the time of day which they continuously did.
Like the minute Kusaka started talking to whoever, that person should just walk away but they don't
Kusaka had status, he was another rider so they assumed he was good or what he said held value.
Yeah he was strange but he never revealed just how crazy he was to anyone but Takumi and orphenochs.
He had Takumi and Yuji fighting for way longer than made any fucking sense. And Takumi being an Orphenoch actually explained a lot of his behavior, but it came way too late so I had already just accepted that he was a drooling idiot.
>it had a fucking plot
Not by episode 14 it fucking didn't. It was even more episodic than Ghost and it had two-parters!
>And Gentaro had more personality than a brick wall
"I'm stupid and want to be your friend" is not much personality compared to "Conflicted youth who wants to live up to his father's selflessness but keeps getting forced into decisions where he either acts for himself or for others without much in-between"
Takeru's personality is he doesn't know what he wants, but he wants his friends to be happy.
you're really reaching.
Gentaro was he wants to be friends with everybody so that everyone can be friends.
>seriously trying to suggest Ghost doesn't already have good plot in the works
Dude, you're a fucking idiot. Plot is one of the things Ghost actually has going for it at this point.
>you're really reaching.
But it's not. Multiple episodes show he mainly idolizes and respects his father over everyone else, and whenever he faces some sort of crucible he immediately seeks his guidance - right down to begging for answers from a vision of him when he isn't certain as to what he should do. He does know what he wants as well, he wants to protect everyone - he says this in the first episode before he gets killed for fuck's sakes. The issue is the people he wants to help most are either really fucking ignorant of his intentions or are a painfully abrasive siscon who only just recently started to soften up to him.
Name one issue Aesir has that isn't over-localization. I'm keeping that one out because all that does is admit they actually translate the goddamn show - something TV-N can't do. You need to be able to separate the work from the worker.
>Bland as shit pretty boy protagonist
>Way too many fucking forms that all look the same
>Completely non-threatening villains
>Plot twists you can see a mile away
>Stupid looking belt with annoying as shit jingles
No, totally different.... Ghost doesn't have Nitoh to make it bearable.
>Bland as shit pretty boy protagonist
But Shun isn't that pretty and they didn't shill him as an ikemen, they shilled him as young.
>Way too many fucking forms that all look the same
The issue is redundancy, looks-wise they'er all pretty goddamn distinct.
>Completely non-threatening villains
What show are you fucking watching? Alan literally just started acting out his plans and has already fucked shit up pretty bad in just three episodes.
>Plot twists you can see a mile away
Such as? People were literally fucking astounded that "Toukon Boost" was earned from Takeru's father even though the name was right there.
Houdini is very anti-bullshit and wanted to make sure Specter wasn't all talk and wasn't pretending he was tough for being catered to by the Ganma royalty and beating up a Shinji-tier loser.
The Orphenochs made that more excusable because Kusaka used them scare them into trusting him.
I didn't really like that either but I think it only lasted a few episodes so it wasn't that bad.
I think The show itself is way too pesimistic to allow Takumi and Kiba to be friends at all for long.
Alan is non-threatening and so far we don't know what the Ganma's plans are beyond ruling the human world. Sure, he kicked ass, but so does every other bad guy until the MC gets a new form.
Plot twists being the fact that Spectre would be a buddy, Alan would be a rider, and Alan becoming a buddy as well.
I'm just hoping Necrom will be more like ZaBee.
>Alan literally just started acting out his plans and has already fucked shit up pretty bad in just three episodes.
Yeah but he's gonna turn good in like 10 minutes so who gives a shit.
>Alan is non-threatening
>shows up with a brand-spanking new suit and fucking wrecks both Spectre and Ghost's Boost form without breaking a sweat
>turns around and brainwashes Spectre into being his minion in the very next episode
>Alan is non-threatening
He literally is the strongest Rider in the show so far and is considered literally invincible - and due to stat progression even Grateful may only just be an "evening out" point. And he's already fucked up Specter to the point he can just have his old buddy ruin Takeru's day.
> Specter would be a buddy
Literally every secondary does this. Even Kusaka, who was diametrically opposed to Takumi, had repeatedly allied with him.
>Alan would be a rider, and Alan becoming a buddy as well.
This wasn't predicted by anyone, this was ANNOUNCED.
>I'm just hoping Necrom will be more like ZaBee.
YOu mean dead/gone and his gimmick being used as part of Ghost's final form weapon?
>Plot twists being the fact that Spectre would be a buddy, Alan would be a rider, and Alan becoming a buddy as well.
Literally none of these are twists. They are all pretty clear from the start and I believe were meant to be that way.
And? We already know Adel doesn't agree with such plans and due to yet ANOTHER Ganma royalty coming in soon, they're most likely going to take Alan's place and start kicking in V-Tech.
He's threatening as fuck to the characters right now. Now, if he starts jobbing later on once he starts being a hardline villain and starts moving over to the heroes' side, then you can claim that. But saying "he's not threatening because they're only making him powerful to sell toys" is judging it based on what you think might happen in the story in the future.
You know, 4Chan is such a festering ball of hate that I actually didn't realize there were so many people here who would readily defend Ghost. Good to know more people than just myself are actually really enjoying it.
>Wow, thanks, I haven't even finished Kabuto yet.
It's 9 years old anon. 9. Years.
I could see using a spoiler tag if it was say, Ghost maybe, and you have not seen the most recent episode.
But c'mon, 9 years anon.
Kabuto is ten years old, anon.
TheBee is actually better off than Sasword or Drake, since with those Kabuto can and does just take their powers away whenever he wants so he can use their Zecters to make his sword stronger. A sword he literally summoned out of nowhere just by saying he was the sun.
Christ, Kabuto is unbelievably bad.
I never looked at it as bad so much as I did just look at it as unashamedly fucking ridiculous and uncaring about plot-consistency. Especially with shit like the Dark Kitchen arc and Kabuto saving his own life by going back in time and fighting a bunch of worms and then suddenly just KNOWING he has the Hyper Zecter.
Since we are on the topic of Kabuto
Is GSL canon and they just fucked up trying to fit it into show?
Talking about Tendou giving the belt to himself/ his Worm dad giving the belt to him in the show
It's probably supposed to be canon and they fucked up, because almost everything else about Kabuto's story is fucked up in one way or another so it's not like it would be unusual. Yonemura does not give a shit about stories making sense.
Personally I go with the alternate timeline him disappearing with his timeline and Tendou's mind coming up with the Worm dad thing to substitute for the corrupted memories. But there's no actual evidence for that, I just like God Speed Love and wanted to fit it in.
Yeah. Only if you don't count literally everything involving the Ganma's plans, Makoto's involvement, and the motives of Gramps, Ryu, and Bad Teeth Man. If you have been paying attention, there's a lot more going on in Ghost than just the 99 days plots.
TRIANGLES ARE VERY INTIMIDATING FATHER
I know that, but the main plot has changed. The whole fading away episode was forced. Tried to make you feel sad for Takeru. You knew damn well Takeru wasn't going anywhere. Not saying Ghost is terrible. I'm saying, so far, Wizard was more fun, fighting was superior, and hell, Haruto had more personality than Takeru.
>Ganma just wanna rule over people.
That's not explicitly clear at this point. Plus, it's fairly obvious that Alan has a different agenda than his brother, and who knows about his sister or father's plans?
>Makoto was raised in the Ganma world. Okay.
There's a lot more mystery added to the plot based on the exact situation of those circumstances alone.
>Nothing from Gramps yet.
Except for ominous commentary every other episode that suggests he's definitely up to something and has almost omnipotent responses to current events.
>Nothing from Ryu yet.
Except that he clearly had some kind of interaction with the Great Souls and is trying to set his son up to complete some kind of greater goal that he couldn't achieve by himself.
Jesus, do you people even watch this show? Or do you just turn your brain completely off and vedge out to the moving pictures?
My biggest problem with Wizard at this point was that Haruto lacked motivation beyond "stop the bad guys," and that the villains were the most pathetic, unorganized, homeless mess of smug assholes with such loosely established grand goals that it was hard to care. Of course, also, from the moment you saw their leader, it was so retardedly obvious he was also White Wizard.
I'll agree that the action in Wizard was superior and maybe that Haruto had a little more to him, but at least Takeru has actual goals to achieve beyond stopping the villains, and the Ganma actually seem like they've got a greater plan in progress.
The fight choreography is definitely lacking in comparison, but some things that Ghost has up on Wizard so far:
>Secondary factors into the plot more than just being comedic relief
>supporting characters aren't entirely useless and annoying (your mileage may vary, I guess, I fucking love Onari)
>villain faction is more interesting with potential multiple dissenting sides within them
>Eyecons have a personality that Takeru can interact with and matter more than just being collectible form changes
I guess for Takeru, it's more like he doesn't want to die without having done something important with his life, and also hates seeing other people waste the life that they have or devalue themselves because of his own experience.
who's the third guy?
also we need an intervention for yongou so he can stop talking shit and start doing work (since he caused most of his problems in the first place), as well as someone helping him because even ragnarok wasn't error-free
>inb4 someone shitposts "shut up yongou" like clockwork
Yeah, they've been good about making teh extra material more accessible now. Even though they region lock videos now, that's easy to bypass so we're still in a better state than before.
>Speaking of specials, why is TV-N the only group that actually does the extra stuff?
Takenoko buys all the extra dvds and stuff while other groups usually have to depend on public raws.
Furthermore, the fact that it's a kids show gives those who aren't paying attention even less of an excuse. Because it's not that hard to understand this shit, yet they pretend like none of it is happening.
Which is why I hate the majority of /krg/ for pushing eieiOH away. He has said multiple times he wanted to work on Kabuto, yet the moment Yongou showed up with Scrubs (NOT NEW TRANSLATIONS) almost everyone welcomed him.
I'm starting to think Ei was forced to continue jokesubbing because of Yongou
So I'm pretty sure Machine Decader is the sexiest looking Bike in KR. Any objections?
That post was bullshit you idiot.
Yongou actually said he would be fine with stopping scrubbing if someone wanted to do Kabuto, Ei's decision to not do Kabuto was from before Yongou was a thing
I was just taking it at face value since I don't pay any attention to twitter and it sounds plausible enough to me considering how many idiots with inflated egos with thin skin are on the internet.
To be fair, we all thought Yongou was a far more component guy than Ei.
He still is, but Ei was working on jokesubs which shouldn't even need a deadline. Scrubs on the other should have priority regardless
But one thing we all need to remember is Ei wants to work in a group, not alone. If anything, he and Yongou should team up. Yongou handles timing while Ei handles everything else.
Decades did Jack shit in show, but the one thing it had going for was style. It had that in spades, way more than that jagged heap.
Tornader's cool and all, but I like Gill's Bike's aesthetic more personally.
>decide i'm gonna try to start watching kamen rider
>want to start with the original from 1971
>find out its not even subbed completely
>most the kamen riders up to 2000 are spotty
Seriously? What a huge turn off. I just wanted to watch the original series and I can't. This is like if you couldn't find 0079 subbed.
Not sure. Because it's cool?
Anyway, I think the Gatack Extender pulled off the hoverboard gimmick best.
Besides Shin, Gills and Another Agito what other "organic" riders exist? Are there any other toku shows that do this too?
Amazon is organic.
Chalice is technically an organic rider.
Hibiki's riders are organic.
Almost no one in phase 2 is organic.
Okay MAAAYBE Chase could be considered organic but that's really pushing it.
livechartto check next season shows
Google isn't helping, does anyone here know what this is?
The Hibiki Riders aren't organic... It's sort of explained that their Oni powers replace the clothes they were wearing before transformation. It's like a magic suit, not part of their bodies.
He's could be considered organic to the roidmudes, but like I said that's really pushing it.
You sure about that? Because there's a scene in Hibiki where a rider gets bitten BAD and he's bleeding out of his shoulder. It's a physical transformation, not a change of clothing.
I'm noticing that pretty much anytime they have an older character in rider, unless that character is a straight up villain, they go out of their way to show how awesome and superior that character is as a rider. It hit me when I was rewatching the OOO movie. Eiji struggles to keep his shit together in the past without his usual powers, and even when he does get his Tatoba combo back, he nearly gets curbstomped. But then Mr. Tokuda, the middle aged soap opera star from a show that originally had nothing to do with Rider, rides in and easily cuts down dozens of enemies even Eiji nearly lost to and doesn't even break a sweat doing it.
All the crossover movies lately have been doing the same thing. Takumi is completely blown away by elderly Jin Keisuke's wisdom and skill, Murasame Ryo tanks a giant anime skull sword through the shoulder without even being in his Kamen Rider ZX form and walks it off like a bee sting, and good old Takeshi Hongo just intimidates the shit out of everyone.
Even when it's not in crossovers, older riders within certain seasons are almost always respected and more skilled, more accomplished than other riders. Look at Hibiki for example. As the oldest main rider to date, he was never considered unreliable, never floundered or struggled with his role as a hero, and everyone looked up to him and respected him. And not just him either, Todoroki and Zanki had the same thing going on.
That's completely wrong. The oni bodies are their real bodies. Their clothes are usually burnt off just from the energy expelled from their transformation. Hibiki catches on fire, Todoroki gets struck by lightning.
If it was a physical transformation, wouldn't they then wear their civilian clothing over-top? They're completely naked after they change back, so I thought it transmuted their clothing into the suit.
Well anon, you do need to respect your elders. Unless you need to pander to moms.
Gotta admit though I wish we got another rider like Hibiki again, fuccbois and immature riders are getting somewhat stale.
Did you forget the part during their transformation where their clothes are physically ripped apart? It's a little more subtle with Hibiki and Ibuki-style ones but with Zanki and Todoroki-style ones you physically see their clothes being torn away.
I just wish Toei would get more adventerous with Rider again. I mean, post-Decade has been fairly consistent in quality, but even if some pre-Decade hit some shitty lows, it also had higher high points.
I still have a hard time agreeing with Hibiki Riders being organic.
At least I still don't understand why out of every Rider they have ever made, Toei makes THEM take their helmet off, the ones who are the least justified. Yeah, the helmets sort of magically disappear, but it's fiction. Entire suits can come out of nowhere. It completely kills being immersed in that pitch because they write them like Frie from Winspector, who has to deal with working in a hot suit.
They needed a makeup artist or something to show how the suit is a body transformation and not a suit. Like, give them veins or something than run from the collar up to the face.
>Livechart cares so little about the kiddy anime, they don't even bother looking up the right pictures for them
>Faiz had very few moments that that were retarded.
It's really a "your mileage may vary" kind of thing. Both series had a lot of retarded plot points, but the difference in how they reflected on the characters is huge.
For instance, Takumi and Wataru both have plotlines that hinge on them being confused and doubting themselves. However, Takumi isn't characterized as an outwardly simpering child, so it's a little more palatable in Faiz.
Otoya has that one stretch where Inoue went full Inoue and it reflected in an arc that was nothing short of cringeworthy to watch, but his character did eventually recover and the 1986 finale is pretty fantastic. Not enough to make up for everything that happens in the second half, but that'd be asking for a bit much.
They can take off their helmets because they aren't helmets. They explain in show that transforming into an oni is not easy to do, it takes practice and concentration and lots of training, or it fucks your body up horribly. Unlike most riders who just flip a switch or push a button then wait for their suits to form, the oni of Hibiki control their transformations with mental focus and willpower, their transformation items are just the catalyst to start the process.
So, baring all that in mind, it makes sense that they learn to control partial transformation. They learn to dispel the oni form just around their head so they don't stomp around looking like full on mythical monsters, but also aren't bumbling around naked after their clothes are burnt off.
I found pretty much everything from the
time-traveling self-abortionon to be so absolutely fucking ridiculous that I couldn't help but feel entertained. Faiz never really hits that point of total absurdity though, so you're just left with this really bland, plodding middle section where everyone is really sad all the time and jobbing to any enemy who fucking looks at them.
They were, so they took them out for a couple of episodes and then Otoya's character shitty.
Yes anon, there was only one stupid moment in all of Faiz. When Takumi and Yuji asked their friends to ask each other a question, only to for said friends to screw up and say stuff like "YOU'RE A FAGGOT" causing misunderstandings.
Everything else in 555 was fine.
I'm speaking mostly from a production standpoint. So I mean "helmet" as in "yes this is fake and that is just a helmet they put on the suit actor" helmet.
You don't just have them take off the helmet like that. That is why I pitched the idea of a having a makeup artist trying to make it feel more natural transition than the suit's collar.
Techy Riders and stuff like that are when taking the helmet cleanly off is okay. I'd stray away from an idea like that with Hibiki when you are only allowed to just take off the helmet.
Man, I'm not normally a heckler over graphics, but damn those jaggies have no business being on a 7th/8th generation home console platform.
On a Vita, alright. Speaking off, this might be the tipping point that leads to me to getting the Muerto which I just learned it will be on (haven't really been following). I wonder how well it will run. I can see it being a fucked up port of an already cheaply made game.
I'm sure they would have if they could, but production values, practicality, wearability and probably a million other reasons dictated they keep it simple. Hibiki as a show went way over budget from the get go already, plus I'm sure they figured kids watching wouldn't think that deeply about it.
Can someone tell me why bandai/toei/emperor neo-heisei himself decided to change the official designation for new Riders to "Kamen Rider" instead of "Masked Rider"? Isn't Kamen a jap word anyway? Why actually say Kamen as its title and not just as the jap word for Masked?
Shit man I couldn't even rank it from the Riders I've actually watched let alone all of them
All I know is Haruto was really good and then really really shit
Spoilered because of Rule 15, but the concept behind the Arms is unique to say the least.
Just finished Kabuto, you guys weren't kidding the second half was a confusing(yet enjoyable) mess. Those last 10 episodes, while they seemed kinda rushed sent my feelings are all over the place. Goddamn it I don't know how to feel about it, I'm angry, sad, and laughing at the same time. Should probably watch the movie at some point, is there any big difference in the director's cut?
>Eiji's actor in my country going to star in a local drama
Holy shit, I just want to him to reprise his role as Eiji goddammit.
Well is the series good? Because I don't wanna sit through a bad series to learn about one character. most of the reason why I ask is 'cause you don't see black people in toku a lot.
Why doesn't the eye on Ghost change when it turns into Boost? They could have easily made it firey to match the form.
What's the magic word?
Look what you guys did to poor hongo.
Because his dad will come back to life and use Grateful in Takeru's place
Can someone translate this bit of info about the new Decade 4* in storm heroes?
Yeah, if you get the 4* and have it on you during a mission, Journey through the Decade will play.
I expect more, but very slowly. It took like 2 months to get more 5* Characters.
Licensing that music ain't cheap. Must mean that Storm Heroes has been pretty profitable for them. I wonder how Megaton Smash is going to play out.
Does anyone know where this piece of concept art came from? I know its by Keita Amemiya, but I don't know which one of his books its from. If anyone can help me find more art by him, that would be great.
Oops forgot to post the artwork with the post.
It's a Region Locked Browser Game. and it's like Pre-render Sprites? I wanted to rip sounds from it but it's really hardcoded, it'd be nicer if it where an Application not a Built in Browser thing.
Not sure but check out that rainbow horn.
Nah, the color is different, But I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mugen suit share look like Exceed X.
But back to the face topic. I don't know about the "bowl cut" lines, but the Eyes remind me of the eyes all the Parka Ghosts have before being worn. And I believe that's an intentional visual call back.
>come to this thread to talk about karate bugmen
>People are calling Gentaro a bad character
When did this board become so degenerate?
Some weird form of being jaded and self hate as a fan. They slowly turn on the thing they love due to overexposure and being too critical. They've lost the love of just accepting the shows as they are so now they want to tear it apart.
so why is Takumi literally the only likable character in Faiz
Oooooh, I get it now. It's troll. People make funny joke about Kuug being bad rider.
>u so funneh
Number fags are going to go crazy over this.
It's funny that everyone here shits on all the rider shows aside from their personal favourites despite the fact their fav shows are always targeted by some other disgruntled fag for legitimate reasons. Fuck man, it's like none of you are even toku fans. You're just retarded fanboys like all the other fandoms.
The only shows I haven't seen are Wizard and Drive so far. I've liked everything so far. All of them. Showa too. Why can't you just enjoy this shit you guys? It's fucking toy commercials for babies. Get over yourselves, and go watch something else if you're all going to complain about how someones weapons looks too much like a fucking toy.
I enjoy all of them but there are some parts like 10 episode arcs I hated that were boring.
But over all I like every series.
Its pretty funny like I said around episode 14 everyone here was bandwagoning on the ghost hate and now that its getting a little better all the autistic fuckfags are defending the show now instead of hating.
I've been enjoying Ghost the whole time so far. It's been my first rider I've watched while it was airing. My only gripes are that it isn't spooky, and they aren't really captilizing on Takerus ghost powers. I'd say my expectations are pretty grounded considering the intended audience for the show but, fuck man, that reveal of Ghost in Drive? Fuckin' nuts.
Yeah but isn't anything at all either. He is blank. He's just a pretty face. That's it. At least Godai was trying to hide the fact he was getting traumatized by everything and as such presented a conflicted personality.
>Up to Wizard, it was counting parts up to a specific number, before somehow now being gimmick shape
>Up to OOO, it was necessary gimmicks needed to transform (Gentoro can turn into Fourze without any Astro Switches, they're only necessary for weapons/forms)
>From W to Fourze, the numbers were in the name
But you can't. There's no concrete pattern. It's actively looking for a pattern where there isn't. A producer was actually spoken to during the airing of Fourze and when asked about how it went from W to OOO to Fourze, he said "Oh, I didn't even notice such a thing. I think it's just a coincidence."
The true Pompaform.
