Field Repair

Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

Zaku 1 is okay, GM 1 is extremely dated but is also only 500 yen.

The original Zaku 2 is extremely outdated, so you should buy one of the more modern versions of the kit like the High Mobility or F2.

I like it, but it is older.
I would recommend the F-2. It isn't as bulky as the kai, and comes with more accessories.

What are they fixing/changing with this 2.0? Any concrete info?

I fear moving his wings because it makes crunchy noises and it takes more strength than normal. I don't know if they can actually break doing that or not, but I'd rather not risk it since i already accidentally broke the left skirt cannon.

How do the results from hand painting compare to painting with an airbrush?
Would the difference be noticeable even if you were to be good at hand painting?

Basically a complete redesign/copy of Destiny Gundam.
- More pointy edges. Everywhere.

I don't know man, here's a blurry pic of it. The needle is all the way in and it's barely poking its tip out. I tried putting some thinner in there and waited a few hours in hope that it's dried paint but didn't work.

anyone here applied the decals on the funnels of the MG hi nu ver ka? you are supposed to use a decal softener on them to properly apply them right?

1. unscrew the nozzle
2. take off the rubber o-ring
3. drop the nozzle into the strongest thinner you have (preferably hardware store lacquer thinner)
4a. put container of lacquer thinner into your ultrasonic cleaner and give i a few rounds
4b. if lacking an ultrasonic cleaner just leave the nozzle in there for a day or two occasionally aggitating it

Got it as a present from my brother, didn't do the best job assembling it but I think it turned out ok.

The little spots over the green pieces aren't nub marks, I didn't notice little shavings sticking to the model with static from how I was putting it together until just now.

I'd love an RG version.

I can see how one of my HG Zaku II's isn't going to be as impressive as a custom-painted, kitbashed Gouf that is a part of a diorama. Spent the last few hours test fitting this beauty.
Everything fits alright, some minor surface blemishes and a couple of bubbles to drill out and fill, and a lot of fat pour tabs to smooth out.
Then plan out where metal parts will go, besides the metal waist and head tubing.
Knives will probably attach with magnets so no paint gets damaged with pegs.

It nearly beat the nigh-invincible god custom despite being a poorly constructed snap-fitted piece of shit.

In the end, Build Burning only won by raw power. Its pilot were they on equal grounds spec-wise would have wiped the floor with him and would be an absolute monster.

Second test on the X1 Anti-beam cloak. literally took a cheese grater to it since i figure just cutting scars into it wouldnt look that good. they dont show much in the pick but in the front of the cloak i poked some holes and marked them with black marker.

Anything else to do to it? i thought of spray or dipping it but i dont want to limit posablity

I'm a native english language speaker and I thought spanish was pretty fucking easy. Yeah you guys assign genders to inanimate objects for whatever reason, but once you learn what the gender of whatever you're talking about, you just apply the correct sentence structure accordingly. Also a decent amount of spanish words are the same or sound very similar to their english counterpart. Pantalones for example is pretty easy to figure out means pants. As the first HGUC Gelgoog and a 2000 model, you should expect the common quality of that time. I don't have it, but from Dalong I can see it has basic articulation enough to get a normal shooting pose with the gun it has. No clue if you wanted to give it a heavy weapon.

If I remember correctly, the antenna helps boost communication range, that's usually why you see them on commander variants of suits, and a commander needs to keep in communication with people he is working with.

Of course, a sniper could also benefit from longer communication ranges as well since snipers tend to be a support unit, so being able to coordinate better is something that would be pretty nice to have.
