Field Repair

Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

Considering most of my kits are OYW grunts, a bigger problem is due to how light some of them are, I thought about using a minimal amount of blu-tack.

I can attest to this. Back when I first started collecting the first thing I ever bought was a bootleg Sayaka figure. It started to fade within a few months. Since then I wised up on how to spot bootlegs and all of my figure/ gunpla purchases haven't faded one bit.

It's not actually mine. I have a friend who's all about the Star Wars Legos and I convinced him to give the bandai kits a shot. He has a terrible attention span and has been chipping away at it very slowly. He's been using my tools hence it being in my room atm. For future reference, you can actually wet sand primer with a super fine grit, which is what car modelers kind of do. If it's not enough you can re-spray and re-sand it to the fineness you want.

I'm airbrushing a mr hobby lacquer gloss coat and am getting frosting effects. Aside from the weather (today is a nice not too hot or cold day) what else can cause frosting? I have already washed the pieces with detergent and water prior to prime.

SF91 kits are great, really busy and detailed designs but the colors seem to flow together well. they took the best parts of the F91 era then riced them up before everything got stripped back down to the basics for Victory. i still want to get a RXF-91 Kai to go with this thing at some point.

UPDATE: So what I ended up doing was swapping the polycap for the same one on my Jegan and holy cow was that polycap stretched the fuck out. It isn't, however, nearly as loose on my Jegan. I can't understand how that problem developed on the Sazabi. The poly-cap from the Jegan fit in snug while it was hard to put the same polycap from the Sazabi back into the socket. Strange.

I display them in my desktop since I recently started with the hobby I have only 3 kits on display, I dust them with make up brushes a tip I got from the /buyfag/ thread so you can look up into that.

As for displays, you can check vidrierias or stores that sell vitrinas for tiendas and stuff, they will be expensive but you can design your own, if you want something prebuild you can check idea interior or similar stores near where you are.

The MkII's pose looks kinda forced
Try angling the feet/legs so they're not parallel to each other, and turn the arm around a bit so it's facing more towards the front instead of to the side

Does anyone have experience with Hobbyzones racks ? I need to sort my workplace chaos but i just cant find some sort of rack for Tamiya Paints. The fucking 23ml bottles have such a uncommon diameter that non of the stuff i found fits. I contacted Hobbyzone and they told me that their 36mm racks would fit but im not so sure.

I'm moving in a few months, and have begun packing up non-essentials to ease the move. My built gunpla are next on the list to be boxed up. I figure I would disassemble some of each kit, the more delicate pieces, and bag those up separately. Any other ideas?
