Let's make our predictions.
Aside from Granteed, which of the new comers will join the first game its in and/or its a secret so its broken club?
>you will never ever go to japan, get drunk with your mates and sing even the most obscure of /m/ OPs in a karaoke house
why fucking live?
I wonder if the Anon who did those SRC customs is still here. Those things were great. If he is I wanted to convince him to do more cause of the potential it had. I still have fun with that thing.
There are karaoke places in America that have /m/ songs, and maybe other countries too. Look for places that have high Japanese populations.
I know for a fact Rockbox in Seattle has a ton of /m/ songs, including Ore wa Great Mazinger and other old stuff.
New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE
Mostly random again. Tried to think up something that might be turned into something coherent, but towards the end it sort of fell apart.
Yeah, Rockbox is great. Right across from Molly Moon's too, if you wanted some ice cream on your night out.

>my fucking face when
>They don't think MD and BX are coming to Ameria.
MD's got a slim chance, but there's no fucking way BX could ever come out here unless they completely cut Macross from the roster. And that's without even considering whatever other legal hurdles there might be.
Soushi was never the same after UX.
My Random SRW cast idea:
戦え! 超ロボット生命体 トランスフォーマー
戦え! 超ロボット生命体 トランスフォーマー 2010
I don't think it fell apart at all. In fact, I can imagine this being a real thing.
Top notch job, honestly.
But now we all have to go and listen to
I think you're underestimating just how many people appreciate Ingram.
Personality info about the leads.
Touya is a highschooler with sense of justice, has a straightforward but cautious personality
Katia is serious, polite but stubborn
Melua is modest, quiet and has low self esteem. Likes sweets and has huge tits.
Akimi is the son of Mogami Heavu Industries President, goes to high school with Touya and is cheerful but a passion for justice.
Akemi is lively but thoughtful. Has to rein Akimi in from time to time.
Still here. I haven't been actively creating any customs in a while though since MD was announced since that's now the hot topic in these threads.
I might go back to it when the thread cools down again.
Things we'll get in OGMD:
1. GouRyu Kai
2. RaiKo Kai
3. Koujaku Kai (There was a new manga in 2013 where they finally show off the design of Kojaku; pic related)
4. AM Servant
6. Upgraded Gigan
7. Upgraded Siegerlion
8. Upgraded Fairlions
12. Werkbau or Dis Astranagant
But wich ones deal absurd damage
Forgot about the picture and this:
15. An upgrade for a battleship based on the plans for the second Air Christmas.
What kind of reason could they use to force Touya to pilot? The timing to use J is wrong because with the GS it was the perfect opportunity to re-enact his J scenario and have an asshole federation group that wouldn't waste time in trying to capture an alien machine and its pilots while post-2nd OG we are back to the belevolent and a bit useless federation of old.
Is Touya's personality going to be rewritten so he actually enjoys the whole stuff and doesn't need to be guilty tripped into becoming a pilot?
Sirbine is definitely a good secret to aim for, and Manon is fairly solid as well. Keeping J is also something to aim for. The rest are pretty average stuff, but like the other anon said, you need all the secrets for the secret ending anyway.
If only, anon. But all of that is as likely as the English release people are still pretending is possible.
Oh, hey, I'd been wondering about you, too. I'm the anon who dumped SRC Dungeon pics all over the place and still bemoans the lack of a unit-based update to the game yet.
You should do what some of these other fangames I've seen do, and use some regular data for a robot to make something crazy, data-wise. Super G Robot Wars has these supercharged versions of Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser that are like combination versions of themselves from across the different incarnations. Could make for some giggles.
Selena's plot in MD might be a prequel where she gets her starting mech and everyone in her team bites it. Since Ibis was the MC for the Alpha 2 plot it will be Selena as the MC for the Alpha 3 plot
>the lack of a unit-based update to the game yet.
He takes a really long time between those.
Mmm, shrug. I have one new custom unit planned (but I won't be working on it anytime soon) and then I think I'm going to use SRC to try to do something else, which may or may not turn out to be fun
Hello I am alive and not dead. I come bearing a gift, very belated and probably already done though it doubtlessly is.
As for my absence, let it suffice to say that things were made a bit muddied by a change of address and also career, as well as the development of a medical condition.
On the subject of SRW though, wasn't expecting the 64 kids... or truthfully the red Exbein to get prime real estate in the first PV.
Yeah, Selena is the most likely choice. She's the one most integrated in the balmarian plot after Cobray, and with cobray being very divorced from the alpha plot due his status as a one of a kind being, odds are that he will only appear in the last stages to deal with whatever is the final boss of OGverse
>He takes a really long time between those.
True enough, and it's understandably so. I just think it'd be fun to get a new set of stuff to catalog. I'm still putting off just taking pictures of the five lions, the get machines, and other such components and misc. unupgraded forms. Plus I'm sure there's plenty more he can shove in there.
Or at the very least, I hope he fixes GaoGaiGar soon since he fixed the Scopedog.
J. Two of the Gekigangar types are eh, but the last has a really good combo. Manon. Lorelai's eh, but she comes really early and her partner bonuses check out. Todd. The Kshatraya and Grand Elder Puru.
You need all of them for the true ending though, and to be fair, all of them are at least OK (the UFO isn't amazing, but it's L and can get the job done well enough.)
Oh, hey, Matt, when you get time, got a possibly-better assembled fake cast list up top if you want to give it a look-see. I tried to take some of your apocalypse-related advice when putting it together.
Guess it makes sense, though. I didn't even recall it becoming a lance, so it makes sense to make a move where it becomes a lance without detaching so Touya can do his best impression of a Jeeg Breaker.
It's part of this pack.
Correct, the attack was dreamt up for the game and named by Kagami Shinya, the scenario writer for J who they've been consulting with for the game on changes to mechanical and character-related subjects.
In other news, Calvina is the deuteragonist of the game while the Akatsuki twins are the tritagonists.
Also, no Soulgunner apparently.
Could be Guardisword too, without Muge Zolbados's convenient teleport abilities they need something.
>Also, no Soulgunner apparently.
It and the rest of the mechs aside from Soul Saber from GC are Sunrise Eiyuten redesigns, or however you spell that. So they're out. Unfortunately.
Speaking of Coustwell and the other J mechs, I wonder how Banpresto is going to handle the girl specific finishers.
They already did say that the animations were pretty good looking.
Likely enhanced versions of whatever the idea behind the finishers was in J. I imagine Bellzelute in particular is gonna look way more impressive, especially with the whole upgrade pack transforming into a big fucking gun during the animations.
Oh hey, checking these, the latter part of Ryukooh Denki takes place during WWI. I didn't know that. (I thought it was just before or during WWII)
Who's this semen demon?
Who's this semen demon?
You can use the finisher with any girl but it'll always load the cut-in of the correct one.
And sadly, that wonderful ZR will never make it into a cut-in.
>ever appearing in OG when it came out in fucking 2013
lmfao hold your horses assholes, we're still in 2004/2005
It's gonna be a long fucking time before it's their turn to show up
It's not like they have to go 100% in release order. Not saying the OE WILL get in but they would fit the bill for @3 pretty easily due to the Mucus, and their big spaceship base could serve as an Eltreum stand-in
>And sadly, that wonderful ZR will never make it into a cut-in.
Maybe they can pull off something like Setsuko's Z3.2 cut-in. Can't let such lovely ZR go to waste.
If all else fails, may the doujin gods bless us.
If somebody makes one, I'd be tempted to translate the thing even though that's normally not my thing anymore.
That said, no dice if Hitoritabi does it because I still don't understand half of what goes on in those things to begin with.
it's been 10+ years, of course they would look a bit different
@3 was my first SRW. NxC was the first game I ever imported, though.
i was a
On the GBA it was probably space limitations, and most of that carried over to OGs. Although there a lot of attacks that were missing got folded into existing attacks, like KRO's roar into Sonic Javelin or the Boxer's Catapult Kick into G-Sword Diver.
I think someone just really had a fucking grudge against the Gunner.
You can thank Kajetokun randomly putting in a clip of the Goldion Crusher in the PIZZA video for that
This guy's OP gets stuck in my head at odd times and refuses to leave for a while.
What's the mecha music you find the most catchy, fellows?
Same series that covered Dunbine in the C3 plot, Macross and Mazinger in the Alpha 1 plot, and Brain Powerd in Alpha 2?
It has an A rank. SHINGO has a B.
The Zovork are an interstellar alliance that has two notable factions: the Vorga, which is the principle governing body, and the Zogal who are an extremist faction within Vorga.
You know the former from when they dispatched the Inspectors to scope out the Earth and theories abound about why. It may simply have just been "them Earthers are dangerous" but some people think they were also checking for weird stuff like Crossgates.
Zogal, under the command of Zezernan, invaded Earth with the help of the war merchants Goraikunru (the notPoseidals from Dark Prison). When Shuu blew the lid on the trick Zezernan pulled with the singularity in the Granzon's reactor, the Zovork Privy Council ordered cessation of hostilities and sent Mekibos as a negotiator. Zezernan ignored his orders and kept up his little war.
As of the end of OG2nd, I believe Earth and Zovork are still negotiating a treaty.
>Zezernan ignored his orders and kept up his little war.
didn't he try to get this guy killed and blame it on the humans to fuck up the treaty?
No doubt, but the last time they showed up on Earth, Shuu demonstrated the foolishness of messing with Earth by shooting black holes at them.
If I recall, Zezernan outright tried to have Rof assassinated yeah.
Originally, Zovork wanted Earth to become a member state of the alliance if I recall correctly. They sent Zezernan to negotiate with Earth, but he was a really bad choice for diplomat and there were a bunch of higher-ups in the Federation who were looking for an out. Zezernan, who thinks the Earthers are all incompetent and uncivilised apes, wanted Earth to unconditionally surrender. Shuu didn't like this, or the fact that Zezernan rolled up in a captured Aerogater ship to intimidate, so he blew up both sides. This kicked off the DC War, and Zovork went "whoa, those Earthers are all a bunch of nutters".
tl;dr: blame Zezernan
>Cobray gets into OG
>but when he goes into OG universe he suffers amnesia and Dis gets downgraded back to Werkbau
>he's the same person in @3 but he goes through the exact same amnesia shit
>replay the most out of any SRW
>mfw everyone call it shit including myself
Easy. You don't have a timeskip.
>Originally, Zovork wanted Earth to become a member state of the alliance if I recall correctly.
Hmm... Wonder how things would have went differently if they sent a better ambassador? Like the lazy guy. He would have been great.
This video's pretty fucking old, but does the translation/summary still hold up?
Also if there's only one Cobray at a given time since he's a Time Diver, how can there be an @ Ingram and OG Ingram at the same time even though he's also a Time Diver?
In the comments too there's this guy saying since OG Euzeth knew what happened in @ he only shows up in OG2nd and changed his plan, and also prevented the Astranagant from being made in OGverse (but the new koto kit seems to imply we might be seeing it in MD?)
isn't that the title that ingram and cobray have for like maintaining the balance between timelines and shit
or at least that's what
tvtropes, gamefaqs and the shitty ass srw wiki told me
You guys have been rused
Cobray in OGverse is a girl and it's Amara
Ah, yeah, thanks. Uh...
Ok, my one major complaint is that there's a LOT of Supers on this cast list, and not enough Real series to balance it out. I also don't know enough about the fantasy series aside from the one that is shit and the one that starts good but becomes shit, so I couldn't tell you much about that aspect, but you have a way to get from one side to the other, yes?
Oh, and, uh, Golion being a deep space series and none of the others being like that, I guess, but that can be changed.
>Melua, the new hotness
>everyone forgot the original queen of big boobies
They're all wrong, it's Guardian of Causality or some shit. 'Time Diver' is because of Ingram (and Viletta's!) theme song, and that's because their plot back in Super Hero Operations literally involved time travel.
That said, /m/ is like the only place on the internet that cares.
I was trying to piece together a type of "outer Earth is a crapheap, inner-Earth is some kind of magic fantasy world" kind of thing, and apparently gave a small sub-theme of sentient mechs. Going by what I remembered you talking about, that didn't really make for a lot of traditional Reals, like the Macross or Gundam guys (I decided against Gundam X because I was just thinking things were getting bloated enough at that point).
Though, it's not so much heavily super-leaning as it is Supers with a lot of units that probably hit gray areas like Ryuknight and Tobikage. I dunno.
Golion was probably going to be changed, yes. Mostly using the aspect of "we leave for a few years, what the hell happened?!" by the time they get back to what used to be a decent Earth surface.
As for travel between inner and outer-Earth, unless the Aura Road doesn't work in New Dunbine, I'm sure there'd be something they could figure out.
>Mostly using the aspect of "we leave for a few years, what the hell happened?!" by the time they get back to what used to be a decent Earth surface.
I think in their case it'd be "we just were back here a year or so ago and Earth was a smoldering crater, what the fuck happened and how is everything back to normal?"
Remember, at one point in Golion, they do go back to Earth, and it's fucking DEAD.
>As for travel between inner and outer-Earth, unless the Aura Road doesn't work in New Dunbine, I'm sure there'd be something they could figure out.
The only attempted use of the Aura Road is by Shot Weapon, who wants to blow up a lot of nukes in the inbetween to cause horrible things to happen on both sides. This, I remind you, was a terrible enough idea that THE BLACK KNIGHT went "no, fuck you, imma kill you now" and then he got cockblocked by the MC because the MC stabbed him.
As for sentient dodgy robots, Layzner, Linebarrels, and Brain Powerd?
Ah, I never did get far in Golion. I just remember the "we left, the WWIII happened." In this case, I guess they would have left before the crap happened, but that wouldn't be enough time in their case, unless they fell through a time-hole or some such. Or they were sent by one of the civilizations that still functions, since I got Turn A and Big O showing that there's still some life there, however segmented.
>Layzner, Linebarrels, and Brain Powerd?
Would any of those work for "outer Earth a shit" though? Linebarrels doesn't seem like it would, at least.
Actually, holy shit, Linebarrels on that cast list.
>Moon Race is the one group of humans that managed to live the suicide instinct somehow, and were preserved on the other side of the moon from the Human Machina. They're awake now, and want to use their superior tech to conquer Earth, unknowing that this is entirely within the plan of the Evil Abe faction of the Human Machina
and, specifically, JUDA. Turn A's nanomachines are the same things as Machina nanomachines.
>Golion's crew saw Earth before the Machina rebuilt it, then thanks to time dilation and shit they miss it being rebuilt. They show up back on Earth helping the Tobikage cast because the two have background similarities (ancestral very powerful robots only pilotable by aliens - to them - and both are monarchies being taken over by an evil empire)
>Speaking of Tobikage, the ninjas were from pre-Linebarrel induced timeskip. UX thought to put the Ninja Village part together with Soubi, it's a good idea.
>Banjo escaped the Meganoids as a kid with Daitarn 3, but that was also pre-Linebarrel timeskip
>Gorg can be tied into that too.
>RahXephon's ancient race? Yeah, that one's obvious.
>yfw they literally only focus on J and GC + a fuckton of filler in MD
>yfw the only surprises we could get are selena fleshed out more and maybe excellence series returning
>yfw they'll cut out a bunch of units from 2ndOG and Dark Prison for no reason
>yfw they'll write off characters nobody give a fuck about like all the psycodrivers who aren't SRX, Kusuha and Bullet to 'make room for the new generation'
>yfw Gu Landon is the last boss
If you can find them for cheap, then yes. The first game has very repetitive skill points, but the stages are alright, plus the shuffle the shows pretty well. The other game has better skill points, but stages are pretty boring, and you fight the original enemies so much that you'll be bored of them by stage 10.
Choreography is either pretty average for most shows, but as long as you don't play Z1, or both Z2 games, it won't bother you too much.
>Linebarrels doesn't seem like it would, at least.
This is spoilers and I spoiled them in this post (>>13829463) because anyone who played UX or read the manga knows about it, but if you don't,
Linebarrels runs on the premise that humanity DIED once. Like, complete extinction. They created powerful machines called Machina that could do anything for the humans, which activated some internal suicide instinct or some shit and everyone except the scientist who created all Machina - who personally piloted Linebarrel - Emi, and Katou all died. And it also eventually turns out that the pilot of the Glen-Neidr, possibly Soubi, and Ishigami also lived that incident.
Most of the Machina went completely fucking berserk, leading to things like Deus Ex Machina and his giant fucking baby mechs. One faction, led by Evil Robot Abraham Lincoln, decided to save humanity, by recreating it, putting eleven - I think it eventually turned out to be twelve? - Machina on the Earth, and then in theory humans would discover them and use them to fight each other, at which point they'd swoop down, save the day, and create world peace. Sort of like the bad guy from Watchmen. They had an unnamed Machina who's main purpose was intelligence running these simulations, and it came up with a way to make it all work smoothly for everyone.
But then Katou showed up. They had to adjust their plans, but it was still workable... at which point ISHIGAMI showed up. Ishigami's presence blew the plan wide open, but he partnered with the unnamed Machina, becoming its Factor, and the two together created a new plan, to take the machina's "Ally of Justice" idea and make it a human. The Machina, so horrified at the fact that it betrayed the rest of its kind, gave itself a name - JUDA, the traitor.
Cue the entire manga, and Ishigami/Juda's plan coming together to create the ultimate ally of justice... at the cost of their own lives.
See, this is the kind of stuff I like to see, even if it wasn't part of my original list that got you sparked with creativity there. Still fun to watch, though.
Now if only you were privy to most of the fantasy-half cast, we'd really be going somewhere with this.
Honestly, out of that whole list, I'm surprised Orgun isn't getting singled out for anything. While I was assigning things at half-random, half-planned, even I thought he stood out a little.
The stuff before the timeskip is golden.
The stuff after... they lose focus a lot. Too many ideas, and they focus on the wrong ones, like introducing a new Machina which is entirely pointless because it gets destroyed pretty quickly. (The character with it is also mostly pointless, but had she come without her Machina it would have streamlined her plot well enough)
The main selling points of the post-timeskip stuff is MURDERBITCH finally going completely insane, the backstory on the Decieve pilots
and the death of the brother and destruction of the Decieve as done by the murderbitch, and Evil Robot Abraham Lincoln finally explaining the backstory in depth from the Machina perspective, as opposed to Katou's or Linebarrel's limited ones. (And it was absolutely incredible to see how my initial thoughts on Ishigami being best character were actually off - his MECH was the best character all along!)
Haven't seen Orgun? It doesn't feel like it would be that hard. Slap it with Zambot, maybe put those against Golion and Tobikage.
Does this means that Bandai Namco will tie the AXION Foundation/Family to Barshem/Ingram storyline once Z gets into the OGverse ?
Crowe will be revealed as yet another Ingram clone and he will get possessed by Cobray/Ingram/Ing to form the Librastranagant
Nearly finished with sasai-hen right now, what should I finish next?
>Alpha gaiden (about halfway through)
>R (made a small amount of progress and enjoyed what I played)
>Start Alpha 1
>Order z3s to finish of the z games
>OG2 on gba (small way through but stopped because the lack of new units early game was annoying)
I guess it's the major drawback from just doing this stuff at random without having seen so many series, my knowledge is very limited. (I don't feel I'd be that much more qualified to make crossover concepts if I had watched a ton more, though)
Going by what little I know of them from the SRW games I've played, though, I get the feeling RahXephon and Linebarrels would end up tied together if Linebarrels were in. Gorg probably wouldn't like the Machina, either. (Manon came from ancient times or some such, right? He'd probably know about the world before the Machina, then)
This is actually pretty fun to talk about. Time to make God Mazinger and Gorg, as well as Rayearth and Ryuknight FRIENDS FOR NO REASON and such.
Perfectio will be back for sure. We'll have a D 2.0 lite so we can save Chris and Ventus.
Also, Ring getting a V finless actual Huckebein EX could happen, and it could be great. Pic related.
And finally, they can also add more stuff, whether is W's preview/fist half, like how they did with MX back in OGG, or the FDX squad from the manga, or some other obscure thing.
>they'll cut out a bunch of units
What do you mean by that?
I have no idea what he meant by cut units. If anything, the MP Hucky is getting replaced, or taken out, and I don't see the Grungust Type 3 leaving unless Kusuha and Bullet get their Alpha 3 units (and even then, I think it's a popular enough filler unit to stay).
Ingram's not dead. He lives on....THROUGH THIS CLONE!
>they'll cut out a bunch of units
Like how they cut out the Shura and the Excellences going into OG2nd, or Giado and Garnet going into OG2.
>W's preview/fist half
Raioh had its preview last game and was on the cover, there is nothing W on the cover in MD.
Not on the cover, if you're talking obscure Flickerei Geist was on the cover last game too (pretty likely she's getting cut due to irrelevancy this game though)
As long as they give the MP Hucky some fucking fixed weaponry this time around, including a Chakram shooter, I'd be fine with it staying.
Also, hopefully the Type 3 will end up as bird food, if you know what I mean.
>i can't think of a decent counter argument to something logical and has been done every time the past games in the series
>better add MUH before to completely negate the argument
i want /v/ to leave
>Like how they cut out the Shura and the Excellences going into OG2nd, or Giado and Garnet going into OG2.
Plot and irrelevance look like good enough reasons to me. We already have too many people doing jackshit with their same old mechs.
I don't think being in the cover or not is a sure indicative of anything, but I'll play: Titular mechs. Arrière got it right away, but Kazuma won't. Nobody wants the Valhawk on the cover, they want the Valzacard there.
You mean Type 2? Or did I miss something in the dialogue thanks to my lack of moon knowledge?
Anyways I think there's still a third unit of each Grungust that's still unaccounted for. And the red Type 1 is still rotting in some hangar somewhere.
Oh right, I just remember it being red and just assumed it was a Type-3.
That's implying Yuuki and Carla will get the bird and turtle though which isn't happening because Banpresto doesn't care about them and also they're absorbed into Shin RKO anyways
Wrong. If that was the case we wouldn't have gotten to see the bird and the turtle at all in the first place. Not to mention they even made the separate units, which means we could be even getting a 4 way animal combo.
...so in other words it doesn't imply shit?
Yuuki and Carla might get lucky and get custom upgrades at some point, but they are never, ever getting the bird and turtle we have known this since @3 came out HOW IS THIS STILL A THING
>Absolutely not a single thing has ever happened the way it happened back in any of the Alpha games
Ryuohki and Kouohki ate a Grungust Type 3 to become Ryukouoh/Kouryuoh. Ryuohki later ate a Grungust Type 2 - Kusuha's old one - to become Ryujinki to fight a Kouohki working with Earth's Ganeden system.
Arado was on the enemy side with Seolla, but joined you. Eventually he got a custom mech, as did Seolla, and they joined up with you and had a combo.
Sleigh fought Ibis for a while, but eventually the two reconciled and combined their mechs into the Hyperlion.
Sanger had a Grungust Type 3, then upgraded to the Dygenguar, who's weapons (Which include Dynamic Knuckle and General Blaster) weren't active, so someone threw him the Type 3's sword and his entire movepool became that.
Rio became Ace Attacker.
Irm got an upgraded Grungust Type 1 known as the Grungust Kai.
An older Huckebein was upgraded to a mech with EX in the name.
All of these happened in the Alphas and in OG.
You seriously Banpresto is just going to shove Yuuki and Carla in the naked psychic sex machine? Seriously?
You know what, just keep believing. It's stupid, but it's kind of cute.
All those bullet points happened, but in way different fashions and order. See: >>13829616
Why wouldn't they? No, believing things can only happen the way they did in their original games, when they can, did and will do rewrite stuff, is the stupid thing to do here.
The world is a funny place sometimes.
I post here assuring everybody I'm not dead. Six hours later I'm in the emergency room.
But I am indeed not dead, and feeling better so good night.
What? It wasn't MP, it was just black.
When have they changed an upgrade to the point of adding extra pilots? Upgrades are the same. This isn't a plot point that can be rewritten, you're arguing that Russel will take Rai's place in Banpreios and Ariel will come too because "nothing's the same, man!"
Now this is a some way to start my day, I get in here and look who's back.
Get well Chen, I'm glad to see you're back but your health is more important, and thanks for the gift.
Kusuha's alpha story has significantly changed for several reasons and one of the most important ones is that Koouki and Ryuouki didn't get destroyed at the end of 2ndOG. Shin Ryuouki was the fusion of all 4 spirits in spirit form when Irui revived them. There's still at least 2 spirits alive in OG.
I meant Shin Ryukoou.
Jakubuou and Bujakuou has been heavily sought by japanese fans for a while, so there's a high chance of getting a playable version of it, regardless of who'll be piloting it.
Haha! Time for Boost Stake Knuckle and Claymore Beam
>Having a blast with 2ndOG
>But Z3 copy arrived, take it for a spin
>Bored as hell
>Go back to 2ndOG
>Realize the anime mechs are bland as fuck compared to Banpresto's mechs
Anime studios, are you even trying? This is embarrassing
>Boost Stake Knuckle
>Shoots revolving stake out of the robot's knuckles
>Claymore mines that explode beam
>Kore ga...ore no saikyou no kirifu da!
While series-accurate animations are the point, I'd quite like to see what sort of animations we'd get from, say, the OG/MX team getting to do what they like choreographing for non-OG mechs.
Well, you already mentioned it, just play MX to see what they can do. Due limitations regarding what they can do with licensed series, their animations weren't that different from what the alpha team did for Alpha 3. Now it was with Ogs when they said fuck accurate animations and made everything as over the top as possible
Orgun is basically a spin on Tekkaman where some humans end up being super evolved as a result of shenanigans in space.
They become a super warlike race and end up trying to conquering their home planet but only a couple of them realise it at the very end.
I'm probably forgetting a few parts.
>limitations to what they can do with licensed shows
Yeah, that's what I'm saying; I'd like to see that team working with licensed mecha without those limitations.
Never going to happen, but oh well.
At the very least, it would be funny to see things like mazinkaiser boss borot grabbing somebody with the chain, make the victim break several mountains as it is swung around, and then being tossed to the sun, as that is totally what the OG team would do to spice things
Tasuku's very own themesong is all about the Gigan, and before any of you say that Bullet's theme is Vanishing Trooper, no, he actually has his own theme song, which hopefully it'll get this time around. All Tasuku needs is a psychic-related upgrade. Where the hell are my funnel anchors?
Ibis and Hugo got their first themes long before they had their real units.
It's not like giving Bullet his theme early would make a big difference since there's still the upgrade from @3.
>Kusuha has big tits, therefore she's the heroine of the duo and gets all the goodies.
Meanwhile all Seolla gets is a shit spirit set and a mediocre unit with a good combo attack.
The Falken has armor made of paper, but it is an excellent grunt destroyer that can also deal with bosses so long the Wuerger is near for the mentioned combo. Besides, you are doing it wrong if enemies constantly hits her.
I dunno about you guys by the RNG fucking hates Seolla in every game I try to use her. She's gotten shot down more often than Boss Borot, even if you count all the self destruct kills I got with it in J.
That reminds me of the denial a good chuck of /m/ had about the status of the huckebein. The hints were all over the place, yet there were people who still didn't believe in the scheme to remove huckebein and forget it ever existed in first place
She's best girl (and my waifu fo laifu), that's why she gets all the best stuff.
Man, I can't wait for HD SRKO.
>everyone complains that Tasaku can't have Jakuohki or Buohki because he already has Gigan
>no one realizes that the giant turtle mech with a shield shell is going to eat the giant shield mech.
The giant turtle mech with a shield shell already has its own shield shell. And the Gigan doesn't even have shields anymore. And even back when it had shields, they never even worked as proper shields.
Tasuku's theme is about the Ganduro, cause its his mech, and he loves it.
At least Burrito is funny
I just want G and 2ndOG anime
>still no OG voiced by these two
Misfortune of your birth Bamco
The Falken is good, but Seolla isn't. If she had genius, or something similar to psycodriver, then she'd be useful. Her only use in 2nd OG was combo fodder for Arado, and fanservice (and that was worthless while riding the Falken since her main cut-in only shows up with her mapw).
