It's like an indicator of title. 6-go would be 6th or the one that is 6, so Ryuseigo is just like "the (one) that is shooting star" with what one is depending on context.

It's a bit like naming it "The Shooting Star" instead of "Shooting Star", I guess, in this case it just makes the whole thing more dramatic and cheesy.
