Everyone should be into Sanger. But I'd guess more than would admit to it.
I don't honestly believe we're just getting J and GC shit in Moondwellers.
It's a full game, not dark prison. I'm certain they'll announce some other entries into it as we near release.
What would you like those to be /m/? You can have at least 2.
Plus an extra unnannounced one, just like when that fucking liege geios appeared in 2nd OG suprising us with the guest entries.
Place your hopes/bets.
Can someone slowly explain Brain Powered to me?
All I gathered from it was that Tomino spent 26 episodes to tell his usual most adults are worthless spiel.
Well, we'll probably see some more stage setting for Alpha 3, maybe Kusuha and Bullet will get the Gouryu and the Raikou or Selena's team will get wiped out. Long shot is starting to get the AR series - if that happens I'm betting it'll be the AR-1 and maybe a stripped down AR-2 and 3. Maybe Laodecia will bring a full Balmerian invasion, but I doubt it...that would be the kickoff for Alpha 3 in earnest. I do think we'll see some more stuff about the Empire as part of the general picking up of plot threads.
We might also see stage-setting for W, have the Ardyguns show up for a stage or two. They won't join, might even be NPCs.
We'll probably also see more stuff with the Zuvorg as part of the setting up for moving into space for @3 and W. Long shot: Ring will get a special black hole Exbein.
What are the other weird side-games and manga we haven't hit on yet? I'm not good on the obscure stuff.
>Plus an extra unnannounced one, just like when that fucking liege geios appeared in 2nd OG suprising us with the guest entries.
If the last game in a series surprised us last time, then surely the last game in a series shall surprise us this time. Putting some chips on Alpha 3.
>What are the other weird side-games and manga we haven't hit on yet? I'm not good on the obscure stuff.
Super Robot Shooting, Super Robot Pinball, possibly Super Toku Wars...
Neither. It's a 5 pilot machine in Impact (though it could theoretically have 6, you can switch some of them out to get different loadouts but it only has all six for one mission), and in AP it has an absolutely bugnuts fucking insane MAP - Phase Trans Cannon is literally finisher strength and can break up a lot of problems if you've upgraded Nadesico's weapons (though it's a pricy son of a bitch).
It's meh in R though.
It sucks at fighting in Impact but holy shit those spirit banks. Put the 10% SP Regen item on it and it'll apply to ALL the pilots. As for AP, it's single-pilot, but the EWAC becomes L at full upgrades and the barrier means it won't take much damage due to how they handled Distortion Fields in AP (halve all damage that's not gravity or beam, and beam and gravity have a negation threshold).
Maybe all of /srwg/ is in the SM universe! Have you seen any Ashsabers lately?
>Putting some chips on Alpha 3.
SRX is on the cover of the game, bro. At best we'll see stage setting and maybe the SRX getting wrecked at the very end, but I guarantee you when we hit @3 for real Banpreios will be on the box.
>Super Robot Shooting, Super Robot Pinball, possibly Super Toku Wars...
I don't know shit about any of those, but Super Robot Pinball sounds like the most entertaining option.
Daily reminder that very the first scan for 2ndOG included:
>Real Robot Regiment
>Ing and Ashe
>Raioh on the cover, Jinrai on the actual scan
>ACE P Gespensts
And this was pretty much everything we got in game aside from the surprise unveiling of EX and Guests.
Meanwhile in comparison, OGMD we only literally get J and GC, along with Rio and Ryoto's mechs they should have had last game anyways, and that's it.
Not to mention, Terada saying in the interview that the plot of the game will focus on J and GC mostly, that it's gonna retell the story for newcomers through Touya, them dropping numbers implying more games to come...
We will NOT be getting anything more than J and GC in the game.
No @3 (aside from Selena who already debuted anyways, and also no @3 mechs on the cover), no W (not on cover), no SC2nd (not on cover), NEO, or ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL.
If they were in then they would be on the cover wouldn't they? ;)
i expect J, GC and some focus on Compati Kaiser, and if you seriously think we're getting anything else than you're a fucking delusional retard :P
>It sucks at fighting in Impact
It can fire a 4400 max power MAP four times at max EN, it gets a pass.
>SRX is on the cover of the game, bro.
I said something to the same extent at one point, I was more joking when I said Alpha 3. Honestly, if I had to guess? Fallout from the end of the Classics, prelude to Alpha 3 - possibly throwing Shin in there - bringing the MK guys back and finishing their plot, an expanded J and GC plot, a bit of original plot, and maybe one or two obscure things, and you're solid.
>...aside from the surprise unveiling of something you spend a literal third of the goddamn game handling and a major plot in the rest of it
I'm sorry, were you trying to make a point?
Well, thanks for clearing that up for me. In return, here's a download link to Folka's theme in C3:
Don't expect the rest of C3's music anytime soon, I want to get C1 over with first, and that's going to take a long time, especially with this damned headache of mine.
To play Double's Avocado, plenty of people recognize Cybuster as something of a mascot. So it's existence on the cover holds less context than, say, Odyssea (hypothetically) being on MD's cover.
Speaking of, anybody have a picture of that fucking amazing looking Odyssea scratch build/ garage kit/ whatever?
Q. Masaki and Cybaster aren't in the group shot.
Are they in the game?
A. They will. Also not all Masoukishin pilots and mechs will be in the game.
Q. Alteisen is also in the group shot. Why?
A. They are popular among fans, and so is SRX team. There will be scenarios for ATX team.
>...so is SRX team.
>scenarios for ATX team
>says nothing about SRX team scenarios
so much for banpreios huh?
Steel Dragon squadron will be fighting the unannounced enemy in Taipei stage(s).
Game will focused on SRWJ and SRWGC/XO characters. For those who haven't played those 2 games you will get some background of them in this game. Players will have more fun if they don't know the stories of those 2 games.
They hope the localized game will attract more new chinese players.
>Game will focused on SRWJ and SRWGC/XO characters

B-BUT @3 / W / SC2ND / OTHER SHITFAGS BTFO
ENJOY YOUR GU LANDON FINAL BOSS LOL
We all knew the SRX team was just going to sit in plot holding formation until they finally got around to @3 while Kyosuke was going to continue to get new upgrades and waifus. It's just the way of OG.
>Players will have more fun if they don't know the stories of those 2 games.
Yeah, since barely anything is used from GC, and it looks like J might be unrecognizable aside for similar designs.
Oh, so aside from the weird half cape/poncho thing, and the emerald studded shoes, it's a basic uniform thing
I guess that's not much worse than sanger's gear, I'll give it that
If you ever get hit with a crowd of enemies with higher HP, tossing something like a Choukyuu Haoh Den'eidan at them to soften them up for your killing blows really helps. I only realized it on the last stage of the first part in my first playthrough, but I started using it a bit more afterwards.
Also, I think Impact was before they started limiting EXP to MAP kills, so I've shot the occasional Gandor Cannon MAP or similar such things out.
新機動戦記ガンダムW Endless Walts
ガイキング LEGEND OF DAIKU-MARYU
真マジンガー 衝撃! Z編
機動戦士ガンダム00 -A wakening of the Trailblazer-
Why is there a daki of her? She seems more like a daughteru than a waifu.
Her daki is downright pure compared to some of the others.
I got to the Nadesico finale in Part 3 before my interest ran out. I doubt I'll ever go back to it. It's such a draining experience. I played it on a regular PS2, so I didn't have any of the advantages of emulation, least of all the slight framerate increase. Man, Impact at 150 FPS might only take you four weeks' worth of 2-hour sessions with the animations off.
GC, pretty generic and bland
J, pretty obvious where all the love and work went into
>Impact at 150 FPS
If I could ever get it past, like 50 on things OTHER than battle animations, I'd tell you all about that. Impact is still the only game I know of where watching battle animations takes less time than not doing so because they're the only things fucking sped up.
Also, as an aside, I really want a video of that one Looney Tunes short where Bugs sees one of those bug catching traps with the box, the stick, and the carrot, because it'd describe pretty well what I feel about your bait right now.
To be fair, no one played GC for the originals (even if Soul Gunner, it was pretty generic, and Soul Saber looks awful and generic), it was mostly for the interesting systems that only it and XO had.
I miss all of them, the part system, the capture system, the bonuses from doing multiple things with one pilot, etc...
Is it time for fake SRW lists? Oh boy, I had one ready for this too.
Is there like an order that these normally go in cause I just threw them in randomly. Also this was part of a thing I was writing and was part 1 of a saga, so I was kind looking for feedback sort of but not really maybe kinda
Again, I'd play it.
In my case it's by order of release date, due to copy-pasting from a document in SRC Dungeon where I get all my series. I don't know where the rest of you nab yours.
Otherwise, I can't recall terribly if there's ever a definitive order for regular SRW lists, save for usually having Gundam listed early, and all the Gundams bunched together and anything that's a sequel listed right underneath the original.
I dunno, for mine I listed
Supers first with the Dynamic Pro bots together (TTGL, Shin Getter, SKL)
Then I have the gritty reals (VOTOMS, Mellowlink, Dougram, Xabungle)
Then the Gundams (G, X, Turn A)
Then the waterworld guys (Brain Powerd, Mars Daybreak, Gargantia)
Then the fantasy/swordish guys (GxS, Break Blade, Galient, Dunbine, Escaflowne)
Then finally the Zoids lumped together
It just seemed to make sense I guess
I got mine just from random sites that had the names I was already using in Japanese and went from there. I didn't think of Production Order, should probably think of that if I ever post the sequels.
ALSO I FORGOT TO PUT IN ZOIDS GODDAMNIT
Ok, let's get the obvious problems out of the way first.
1) Your game has a bunch of series that requires the apocalypse or something similar having happened within human memory - 15 years or so (Dancouga BURN, Gundam X, Getter Armageddon) - and a bunch that require the apocalypse having happened a long time ago, like Xabungle, King Gainer, and their ilk.
2) You didn't specify WHICH Megazone 23. I'm assuming 3 from the cast list, but can't know for certain.
3) Gunbuster's place on that list is a dealbreaker, because Gunbuster humanity has a fuckton of resources, power, and ability to kick the ass of everything else. If the apocalypse happened, how in the name of god are they capable of building things like Gunbuster, any of the battleships, the Sizzlers, and that sort of thing?
There's a lot of those series that I haven't seen, mind, so I'm not 100% sure on those.
You throw Gunbuster in as a relic of before the apocalypse.
After their somewhat deep space journey in episode 5, they come back and find a post apocalyptic Earth x amount of years later.
I would play it on the series list, but how do you want to connect them together?
I assume GR Arma, Muv Luv, Gundam X, Gunparade, Gainer and Xabungle form some kind of Post-Apoc arc and... come to think of it that's kinda Z1's post-apoc setting series too minus the newcomers.
1) You also have no idea if the apocalypse happened recently or not. Although there's a lot more evidence for "not" in this case.
2) Is VOTOMS and Dougram on that list as a "slap all the fighting on Earth now!" thing? Because that's kinda...
3) Minor thing, but with VOTOMs, are you skipping past Last Red Shoulder?
4) Is your cast going to constantly jump from fantasy world to real world? When you include that sort of series, you have to give your cast a good reason to stop trying to fix the hellhole they live in to go somewhere else.
Wow, Christ, everything sure went to shit in six months.
Diebuster'd be nice in that case.
Let me dredge up a post-apoc idea, show sort of what I mean.
Hey, don't just single one fake list out for scrutiny and not focus on the others posted prior!
I jest, but as the anon who acted as your FIRST fanboy for a decent number of threads, I wouldn't say no to scrutiny. I thrive on attention and all, after all.
I wanted to take an approach like Alpha Gaiden, where some parts of the world were hit harder by the invasion than others, with some parts in...moderate well standing and others in total disarray. I actually wanted Xabungle and G Gundam to be post script, to allow the G fighters working with the military to combat the alien threat,
of which the Devil Gundam would be connected to.
The idea for Gunbuster was that the Excellion was launched 20 years ago, just 5 years before the invasion truly hit earth, and we meet up with them right as they return to earth for the first time, perhaps having some introspective on Noriko and the group inbetween chapters to establish them as characters before the big moments.
The big thing I wanted to tie everything together with was the fact that the aliens are essentially all coming at once and that the big twist is
90% of them were all made by the same source, minus the invaders who came from another dimension entirely. The Buster Corps were sent out first to try and intercept them but things progressed much faster than they anticipated and things went to hell in a handbasket super fast and by the time the Buster Corps came back Earth was entirely overrun by creatures completely different than what they settled on doing. Humanity spread itself thing, either by hiding itself away in bunkers, domes, and some outright fleeing the planet to live in space,, since the majority wanted the Earth for it's resources. This is all just a rough idea I've been throwing around and I love criticism so please, feel free to rip apart my reasoning if something sounds wrong or off.
Let's start with long apocalypse, as in "it happened a really fucking long time ago and no one knows how".
>Overman King Gainer
>The Big O
>Megazone 23 (Part 3)
>Megazone 23 (Part 1) (plotless)
>Megazone 23 (Part 2) (plotless)
>Gun X Sword
>Turn A Gundam
>Gurren Lagann: Gurren-hen
>Gurren Lagann: Lagann-hen
>Relic Armor Legaciam
>Lord of Lords Ryu Knight
>The Brave Express Might Gaine
>Gargantia: On The Verdurous Planet
I can throw in a plot summary if you should all desire it, I've got a basic one formed. This isn't exactly a DIFFICULT cast list, after all.
Ah, sorry, which ones did you need?
Well, ok. That's fair enough.
>Ah, sorry, which ones did you need?
Well, my post was back up here, the "walts" you posted Doublas to. >>13825007
Really, I'm just wanting to see if randomness made something salvageable, like that time I shoved stuff like Gaiking LoDM and God Mazinger alongside Wing and 00 and Tobikage and Ganbaruger and it actually was half-coherent.
That or this time randomness made something so bug-fuck insane it roasts a few of your brain cells thinking about it. Either is surely entertaining.
Also I realized I hadn't really thought about how Megazone fit in with it's episodes. 3 would probably be what I'd go with, since I wanted to tie it into Big O with the domes being a key point.
The sequel to it would probably be something fantasy oriented, where at first it doesn't look like it's connected at all but by the end shows that it's exactly the same world because of plot related reasons isn't at the same time. Lets just say Asura Cryin and it's world shenanigansand leave it at that.
Is it that time once again?
機動戦士ガンダム外伝 THE BLUE DESTINY
feels a bit bloated, what do you think i could cut?
I'd play the hell out of anything that focused on early Gundam and it's side-stories, especially Blue Destiny. (Make it pilot-switchable and have pilots comment on the EXAM system)
I'm not one to comment on cast lists very well. Personal preference would tell you to snip Evangelion. If it really feels bloated, you could probably snip 0080 and a Macross if you felt like it.
Anyway, close apocalypse.
>Getter Robo Armageddon
>Fafner in the Azure
>Fafner in the Azure: Right of Left
>Dancouga (and Requiem for the Lost, and God Bless, but they never bother to separate those on the cast lists so why should I)
>Future Robot Daltanius
>End of Evangelion
>Genesis of Aquarion
>Tetsujin 28 (2004)
>Psycho Armor Govarian
As before, I'll provide an explanation of the plot if needed.
Ah, yes, that one.
...I have absolutely nothing. I'm sorry, this is beyond me. This is disjointed as shit, I can't figure it out. It's not that nothing fits together, it's that I have no idea how to make it fit together as a cohesive unit.
I'm calling Cobray will show up in MD, but just as a shadow portrait being cryptic.
I feel like Thunderbolt could be cut without any real issue. Since it's technically AU UC, it might not fit all that well. Evangelion maybe? I dunno, I don't feel like it really necessary and the only reason it would be there is because MX did that and Raxephon together and it would feel like a rehash of that. Maybe Grendizer too but I'm sure I'd get thrown out for thinking that.
Also you have a list of early UC and no Hidden Shadow of G, I'm disappointed in you Anon, it's canon after all
Fine here is a fake list, for the Xbox one.
Super Robot Wars ONE
- Mobile Suit Gundam
- Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
- Mobile Suit Gundam F91
- Mobile Suit Gundam AGE
- Macross Zero
- Megazone 23
- Virtual-On Marz
- Getter Robo
- Steel Jeeg
- Beast Wars: Transformers
- Z Mazinger
- Genesis of Aquarion
- Machine Robo Cronos no Dai Gaykushu
Eh, I figured there was nothing that really could be done for it. Drawing out of a hat going down the line of release dates does that for you.
I doubt I know enough about the stories to really toss together something that could be coherent.
Hey, I said personal preference, I just don't like EVA.
'Cause occasionally it fools a person or two, and that can be entertaining for a while, like when people think an upcoming OG game has a chance of localization.
I'd play it.
マジンカイザー 死闘! 暗黒大将軍
You've got a lot of extras there. Let's snip:
>MACROSS PLUS. If Earth can create the fucking YF-19 and YF-21, why in the name of god are they focusing on the GM as a viable combat platform? And you can't cut that out, because you have The 08th MS Squad! This one's setting-breaking.
>Why in the name of god is everyone focusing on fighting other humans when the FESTUM ARE RIGHT THERE? I get that everyone in the EF is an idiot in Fafner, but goddamnit, Zeon should have dropped their colony on the fucking Arctic in this case, I doubt they'd have stopped that!
>I have no idea how Mospada or Southern Cross fit in and won't comment on them.
>Mazinkaiser requires there to have been robots on Earth for at least a decent amount of time, this clashes with everything else. Grendizer sort of relies on that too. So does Gaogaigar. SvN Getter most certainly does, it's actually more a "definitely" than a "possibly" (if EF can make high powered Getters, why make MP Fafners/GMs/whatever else?)
>Patlabor, J-Decker, and Might Gaine are a good thing to focus on... in another game. In this one, with a cast list like this, maybe it's best to let them out the door.
There's good ideas here, but a few entries aren't 100% fitting, or in some cases others would work better.
At this point I'm considering it as a penultimate thing. The concept of universes shoving each other out of physical alignment appeals to me.
You know I considered Mospeda because of it's connections to Jupiter and having it with Gunbuster would have a horrifying conclusion where Jupiter gets turned into the black hole bomb as part of the plot but then I realized it would make Mospeda completely worthless and kind of gut-wrenchingly horrible.
Didn't Euzeth already gather the factors or some shit?
Alien robots, of course. Guys like Zambot 3. Dangaioh. Dancouga Nova could be swung that way. The Eldorans. Exkaiser, Fighbird, and Dagwon if you want Braves (maybe Goldran too, not sure.). Gaiking LoDM if you can manage to fit its plot in, that's not terribly easy though. Gorg by the same tac.
As an alternative, use newly made robots. The original Mazinger. The original Getter. Tetsujin 28, possibly, you might tie its war into the conflict from Macross Zero. Hell, Zeorymer and pals were made in secret, right? You could do that.
If this sounds a little like some of the series I used in FIRST, well, I used those for a good reason!
And anyway, since it's in my head and shit, let's do some summary.
First thing to know, a big midgame spoiler - this isn't Earth. Earth is dead. Like... DEAD, dead. It's gone, finished, extinct. Everyone who could get off migrated to this planet. Ancient humanity found the Ancient Zoidians here, and got busy, creating a whole lot of hybrid humans. Most of these decided that since this planet was too close to its sun, they would spend most of their times in big, climate controlled, domed cities. Some moved to the moon. Some got really nice boats. But pretty much everyone went "Problems? Na, fuck it, we don't care." They continued to not care when another colony touched down on the planet and set up their own version of a domed city, since there were like twenty people alive on it no one really gave a toss.
One, singular group of people smacked their collective heads and got to work. They set up three massive mirrors to obstruct most of the sunlight, making the wastes livable, and connected their systems to a giant tower. They made giant towers to create a magma-like energy source to provide life to the wastes. They laid massive train track lines (that the greedy dome people appropriated like assholes) to connect everyone. They then went "ok, fuck you all" and stuck seven satellites in orbit with killer death robots, to work policework on the planet. And they discovered a source of magic, Mist, which they made robots that ran on. These people - the Sky People - then got in a big crystal floating colony and did the same damn shit the Domeites did, but they were smart enough to take that one asshole trying to get from the reaches of space to Earth with a cryptic warning about aliens a chance and stuck his brain in a computer, incase it was needed...
...and eventually, it came true, since from the depths rose Lordgenome, who took over a continent and subjugated all the humans on it to life underground. And no one seemed to care about this because most of the Domeites were working on some crazy genetics project, most of the Moonites were idiots, and the people on boats were busy having nice boats.
Anyway, in the domed city of Nuebel (or however the fuck you spell it) Tokyo City, some guy gets contacted by the computer from the Sky People and told "ALIENS ARE COMING I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS SHIT FOR LIKE A THOUSAND YEARS SERIOUSLY THEY'RE ALMOST HERE." That guy begins to work on giant police robots, because... he can, I guess? A scientist friend of his also begins working on robots, which is a good thing, since his old colleague suddenly finds another ancient civilization that didn't have Zoids or something and starts using their robots to take over the world. Also, the Moonites go "What was I going to say? Something about Earth... WE NEED TO TAKE OVER EARTH!" and then they do that. And then some Clawed Man starts shit. And also that tower controlling the mirrors starts acting up, so a knight, a princess, a ninja, and a priest all go try to fix that with a couple of youths who happen to have these bitching power armors. Also the Digald Empire starts acting up.
Also in the lategame that one computer (which calls itself
B.D.) turns out to have been totally right and the moon suddenly transforms into a giant battleship and also Anti Spirals and Helldragons, who have come because Black Noir said it was their kind of place. Also because they just got done completely murdering every single Hideuze and human in space. So that's a thing.
>"Before it comes to North America and Europe in 2016, Bandai Namco will release the PlayStation 4 version (and PS Vita version) of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth in Taiwan with traditional Chinese subtitles and menus and Japanese voice-overs this fall, the publisher’s Asia branch announced."
>"Bandai Namco had a little surprise for Chinese fans of God Eater Resurrection today. God Eater Resurrection will be localized into Traditional Chinese and is planned to release sometime during this winter."
There's no way that OGMD is coming out in America. No way!!
Melua, probably. She's the most traditionally "wife-like," if you will.
>There's no way that OGMD is coming out in America. No way!!
When would we even be able to know for sure, just so it can all be laid to rest and we can all go back to Youtube and importing like usual?
I'd say its more, "Cobray would have been a threat three games ago, but there's just too much broken shit that he's not a factor anymore".
dracodeus could bump dis astragnant in the shoulder and the whole thing would fall apart.
>There's no way that OGMD is coming out in America. No way!!
Yes and? That is in no way a sign of a localization. The ESRB rating has been debunked already with the BX trailer.
If you're trying to fool someone, you need new material and some good shops.
Probably. I'd welcome being happily surprised, though.
So, something from those clips/shots I seem to remember was a renaming of the Raftclanz. Or rather, making some kind of variant. Names given to different units given to different Fury? Names given to signify which Orgone finisher it has? Or just something entirely new, and basically a Raftclanz Kai or MP version?
Basically he got to this point by doing it over and over again until he got it right, plus that thing Zezenan was doing with the Black Hole Engine in the Granzon influencing probability, which presumably cut down the number of variables for Euzeth enormously. This was the first time he actually got this far.
>because it'd describe pretty well what I feel about your bait right now.
I'm not baiting, though. I think I just accidentally left-out something in what I was trying to say. Along the lines of "It'd be nice if pcsx2 could run Impact at 150FPS" or something like that. The idea that Impact would be less of a chore to play if the emulator could do such a thing. At least in MXP, AP, Z2, and OE, you can turn off framelimiting in PPSSPP.
I can't wait for the fury to use their orgone shit thingy that stops time and begins to shit themselves when granteed and
granzondon't give a fuck.
>Shu: Oh you did something? What an amusing trick. Maybe i should do that something to get chika to stop talking.
>predictions, predictions, hope, chance, localization blah blah
When they actually announce localization, you can post that. Any more posts other than that are conjecture through and through.
If OGMD gets localized.
Matt will eat his shit. Chihiro best girl

I wonder if that would work.
That's not the only thing they're forgetting, but it's too late for me to try to plunge the archives for the old "great list of fantasy mech series".
War on Geminar, I think, was one of them?
Since your probably one of the few people on this thread who knows things about Tenchi Muyo, I got a question for you.
Suppose I introduce War on Geminar into a plot, and then introduce Dual later down the road. Would that completely screw over either series timeline? Or are they far apart enough from one another that it wouldn't make a huge difference?
Man, I can't wait for Resurrection to come out over here.
That's gonna take up all of my free time.
They got to stare at a stage map for five minutes
All it did was confirm Belzelute (no idea of the context though since they played absolutely nothing outside of moving the camera around and showing Al-Van's in the map's Raftclanz)
>Isn't half the discussion about any given actual game's cast list people complaining that the cast list is shit?
For me, I look for the ONE series I want in, and call it a day.
The only time I'd get mad is if it was some horseshit like Infinite Stratos. They could have made a Super Magical Girl game, and instead, they decided to add in horseshit like IS
Baran "Ware Koso wa" Doban.
yeah, without them it's a bit better
I suck at super robot palettes
>epilogue scenes like the ones in Hakai and Jigoku
>the 25th anniversary surprise is they've actually been working on TWO OG games for this year
Can't tell if this is more or less likely than an English release of Moon Dwellers
The deep space side of the cast list find its planet. Space Whales are also there as well as Vajra and Gauna. Basara probably sings at Moura to get him to unfuck himself.
>When I sing at a mountain, the mountains move! Singing at a rock is no different! For the sake of this planet, listen to my song!
At some point the J9 team organise Space Live Aid: Save the Whales edition
Is it possible to just email ESRB with the damn question "Hey are you guys rating Moon Dwellers for western release" or something like that so we can lay the whole thing to rest?
Despite that, if the esrb logo was a fluke then they should still be informed so they can reach out to them and fix the mistake(remove logo fromthe trailer) and/or take legal action
That doesn't mean anything more than Bamco submitted a request, whether they'll actually give the green light for localization is still unknown.
There's ton of games that also have been registered in terms of trademark in the west but were never released, or even worse they've even got an actual localization and were never released.
I'm waiting for a Vita game myself but I know that despite having been trademarked in the West the chances of it being actually localized are pretty much non existent.
>TFW Still no Rayearth in SRW
That old hags from Clamp still dont allowing? Fuck, i just want a themed Fantasy themed SRW
I'm serious, I'm one of the few AGEfags who exists on this board, and the reason I got BX was mostly for AGE. And I want more, hopefully we get Flit and Asemu arcs someday, but I don't mind more of Kio.
I'll pay you that, the ideas of the generational story and the initial character development seemed like it had the potential to go in exciting directions. But then it cocked up in execution and several key plot decisions, like almost every gundam.
>But then it cocked up in execution and several key plot decisions, like almost every gundam.
A shame since I'm a sucker for generational stories, but they really, really blew it with AGE, from making Vegans look like a cartoony evil version of Zeon to the retarded writing and character interaction.
It would have been one of the most interesting Gundam, and yet it's one of the most terrible.
The people that put up the videos have ESRB on other games that are not getting localized, while other games that are getting localized in the states still use their native rating system. Their use of ratings in videos is nonsensical and inconsistent with any sort of pattern or reason In other words, the ESRB logo means squat.
There is also the notion that the Super Robot Taisen/ Wars trademark is still dead in the water. At this point in time, should they have submitted to the ESRB, their trademark would have been renewed.
Guys my dad is Vintage Gundam and he told me Moon Dwellers really is gonna be in English.
I still can't get over how shitty and deviantart tier was the adamatron. It's like one of those original character do not steal that has powers, equipment and even bloodlines of other characters just because the creator thought it was cool.
It's Euzeth. It's literally all he does.
>ultraman but edgy and mature
>judecca but painted black like my soul
>all the powers ever and it wears crossgate like a halo because I'm jesus
>Bamco brought over all the games they first localized into chinese.
>But not OG!! because... reasons.
The game is getting translated into English. Just accept it already. Welcome tumblr and neofags into our circlejerk.
Made up series list time
Why do you people use the Japanese text?:
After War Gundam X
Turn A Gundam
Getter Robo! The last day on the earth.
Armoured Trooper VOTOMS
The Big O
Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Colony Drop
> implying either of those things are relevant or that anyone even gave the source of the "dead" trademark
> implying bamco themselves didn't say they are bringing their original and anime games overseas (Chinese and English localizations)
> implying they didn't remove the number from the title to shill the game as a new franchise world wide
> implying they didn't add beginner's mode to cater to overseas newfags
> implying bamco didn't localize into English every single game they localized into chinese since 2015, including that shitty vita Gundam game
> Implying new producer Kensuke Tsukanaka hasn't been one of the guys at BNE, including Harada, who's been pushing really hard to localize BNE properties.
If you think that those guys would hate the series you are fucking dumb, it has everything ranging from cripples to minorities. What I fear from a translation is a further lowering in the difficulty in a series that is already pretty easy on average and a crappy translation made by some fuckhead that thinks that shoving inside memes would make the translation more appropriate for a western audience.
>made by some fuckhead that thinks that shoving inside memes would make the translation more appropriate for a western audience.
MUH BUFFELT MODE!
MUH GESPY KICK!
WE MUST PUSH THE XINGKE!
I don't think they'll let the female outfits or how every female has bouncing balloon tits slide.
Also all the problematic representations of people of color must be fixed and the fact there's no homosexuals.
>What I fear from a translation is a further lowering in the difficulty in a series that is already pretty easy on average
We would need to go into FE:Fates Phoenix Mode for SRW to get any easier
We just need more naked Ing or other guys to balance that out, ad far minorities are concerned I don't see the problem, for the last point just wait until Z gets in for our favourite gay angel to make his appearance
Look anon every tumblr-browsing girl that I know never had anything against the series despite knowing about the fanservice, I and one of them did a complete playthrough of the Z saga and she never complained about anything. That said most of the girls I'm talking about are also gay so they enjoyed the fanservice, also I'd like to point out that I don't livello in the U.S. so maybe the situation there is different than here.
My mom saw the naked Kusuha cut-in in OG2nd and everything went on like normal.
What's far more likely is that we get a bunch of betas pretending to care about women as usual or newfags that complain about old stuff in the series like how incest in FE is suddenly creepy when that was the same series that used incest as an actual plot point.
>implying more than a handful of regulars here actually know Japanese
And now that your precious Chen and even TE are gone, you'll never know the plot no matter what.
I dunno about Genealogy of the Holy War, whichever FE that is, but it was like the prototype for Awakening and Fates in setting up pairings for future children, and I think incest was a distinct possibility, villainous or otherwise.
For a less villainous option, there was that subtext between the twins in Sacred Stones, if you want to read into that.
>Well, it's not like you saw anything with Kusuha anyways.
Such is Bullet's eternal suffering.
You could hook up Seliph and Juria or whatever their names were in four, though that's technically unintentional. There's also Raven and Priscilla, but that's more Priscilla then anything else.
>There's also Raven and Priscilla, but that's more Priscilla then anything else.
She's a real piece of work. In one of her supports with Lucius, she's jealous and implies Raven might not love her as much because he fell for Lucius.
>Such is Bullet's eternal suffering.
Well it's his fault just as much as Kusuha's, neither of them can seem to get over their spaghetti despite sharing a naked psychic cockpit for three games now.
The one of the main antagonists gets black mailed into fucking his real sister in order to create the vessel of the evil dragon 'god'.
Also, if you dig into the background information, you find out that one of heavily implied if not outright canon Gen 2 pairings were descendants of two siblings.
Oh boy I sure look forward to a butchered OGMD with the ppg outfits censored and their breasts covered up and removed from their cut ins amd the translation full of dank memes.
I also can't wait for tumblr to make head canons of rai wanting to fuck ryusei and zengar riding elzam.
Yeah, I mean...has >>13826793 been in this thread before? Do I need to step up my posting?
Also Sanger wanting to ride Ratsel is canon.
I hate retards like this guy just as much as I hate the faggots who feel the need to defend FICTIONAL CHARACTERS from discrimination or whatever's the latest hot topic for hurt feelings.
Shut the fuck up.
Chances of her getting in are probably slim, but she's apparently one of the possible "obscure spinoff" characters still available for use.
hey what was X-Rounder supposed to look like again?
I'm trying to work on a SRW/m/ fake cover with like Sagegaigar and ENIS and shit but all the images in the archive for X-Rounder expired
>SRX is on the cover instead of Banpreios so Alpha 3 isn't happening
Terada said they put Alteisen and SRX because they're popular, and because ATX team will have a bit of plot of their own.
SRX being on cover doesn't mean anything. It could as well mean it's getting destroyed this game and we're getting Banpeios, so they put it on cover as it's the last time we'll see it.
I will never stop believing Alpha 3 happens in OGMD until the game is out and I'm proved wrong.
They're going to reintroduce the SRX Team, so they're all going to hate each other and have to learn to work together again.
Though I think that's Kyosuke there
Mai has higher power and range but at a higher EN cost and the target has to be at least 3 tiles away. She also has a one-sided Love bonus with Ryusei, so if they're next to each other or paired up it makes the R-Gun a bit stronger.
Viletta has less power and range but costs way less EN and has a smaller blindspot at close range. And I think a lower will requirement?
Overall Mai is better considering the HTB is a boss obliterator, especially if you're Zeal/Enable/Renew spamming, but the difference isn't that huge. As of 2ndOG Viletta can initiate Maximum Breaks so that's a plus in her favor.
Mai had higher damage and 3-8 (9?) range, Viletta had lower damage and 1-7 range.
After OGG having Viletta in the R-Gun meant you could also do T-Link Love Love Knuckle, but Mai would get higher dodge bonuses for twinning with the SRX. But then in 2ndOG Viletta lets you do a Maximum Break.
Mai's higher damage is not worth it, considering the higher morale requirement and especially the higher EN cost.
>After OGG having Viletta in the R-Gun meant you could also do T-Link Love Love Knuckle
>in 2ndOG Viletta lets you do a Maximum Break.
Starting a Max Break with HTBC is priceless.
I know all that, just trying to figure out which one is technically the better. Guess they're roughly equal then. Though if we did go with the combo option, who would be the secondary choice to Ryoto anyway?
>considering the higher morale requirement
Irrelevant in any game not running on Winkysoft will gains. Especially when you can slap the plus starting will items on the R-1 and have them apply to Ryusei, and then pick a will boosting skill for Mai
>and especially the higher EN cost.
You'll run out of Valor and Enable casts way before you run out of EN and Renews even if you're going for maximum HTB Spam. With both fully upgraded and with a Mega Generator on the SRX, the SRX and R-Gun have 400+ EN. And if something's not dead after 20 goddamn shots, something has gone horribly wrong.
Tasuku I guess? Or maybe just do it with all of the Alphas, they could reuse the Catapult Kick dialogue from G-Sword Diver's animation
It really depends on what you want. In OG2 Mai was the clear winner, but in OGG and 2ndOG they do a lot to bring Viletta up.
I personally started using Viletta in the R-Gun in OGG, but a lot of that was being too lazy to change pilots.
Except with Kyosuke and Viletta you get 2 Maximum Breaks.
I'm one of those guys who likes to level up his whole party as evenly as possible. so I pretty much only use the SRX for bosses.
I can sort of understand using nothing but HTB Cannon over and over on bosses in OGs and OGG if it's your first playthrough and the SRX was all you spent money on, but in 2nd OGs it seems like kind of a waste especially since 15-20 pairs = 30-40 units, and you can just split the pairs so everyone's Valored finisher will do maximum damage. Boss HP is reduced-enough that they'll die before you run out of actions.
>so I pretty much only use the SRX for bosses.
I don't even bother using the SRX, I could use Aya in a less shit mech so she can actually take a hit. Rai is good in just about anything
Including the MP Huckbein yes
Higher base damage since Tasuku doesn't have Soul I guess?
HTB spam is more about the "We've clearly reached a point where we should stop, but let's keep gonig and see what happens" than actual necessity. Breaking SRPGs is oddly entertaining for me, and I assume others considering how popular Final Fantasy Tactics is.
IIRC pre-OGG, Mai had 3-9, 100 EN, 140 Will and a 1.6 modifier in comparison to Viletta's 1-7, 70 EN, 130 Will and 1.5 modifier
By OGG, Mai is still the same, but Viletta got buffed to 2-10 (technically, base range got nerfed in this case), and I want to say 60 EN, don't remember
Though OGG was a broken mess in a good way, (fucking love how TBS is 138.5 points of damage for every 1 EN used up, and it gets hilarious when you use E Save to bump it down to 14 EN).
But don't actually give E Save to Arado or Seolla
Oh, good. X-O works on my new phone. I didn't want to lose my login streak while on vacation. I imagine all these games that were too graphically-intensive for my iPod are playable on it, as well.
Man I really hope they give us a new Formation AR that is actually worth using when we get around to the AR series. Losing out of Royal Heartbreaker is the pits.
>Also, if you dig into the background information, you find out that one of heavily implied if not outright canon Gen 2 pairings were descendants of two siblings.
but how many generations down the line we talking? any more than 4 and they may as well be unrelated.
My Random SRW cast idea:
戦え! 超ロボット生命体 トランスフォーマー
戦え! 超ロボット生命体 トランスフォーマー 2010
Only problem I see is the timeskip for Gurren Laggan, I had the idea of a barrier that causes one side to progress faster and it just so happened to break during the start of the Anti-Spiral Arc.
oh god my sides i remember the original thing.
