So who is going to have the best bounce in the new one?
The only true love for Rim is Rim
No matter how much they polish its design, I can't bring myself to like Soul Saber, it looks like a cheap knockoff of a generic 80's super, and not in a good way.
Of course, having a generic gendum color scheme doesn't help.
Meh, the head isn't THAT bad per se, besides the weird front piece which looks like a chest piece, the problem is that the body is so generic in all its variants and the arms' weapon parts stick out too much and don't really blend with all the rest, and again, the color scheme.
I don't hate the R-1, I'm completely indifferent to it, the beam tonfas are a bretty gud touch though.
Actually, I don't think I hate any of the OGs, I just don't like a few of them like Soul Saber, Exart and a few Masoukishin mechs, but mostly because they're either generic or a clusterfuck of lines.
Only tomatoes can slake his thirst.
This mech confuses me a lot. Like, Ok, it clearly has a melee and a ranged configuration, but then you can choose which kind of legs they have too? And that'll change their moveset, I guess? How? Why?
>middle of dream, go into a game store and a new trailer for SRWMD plays
>see a giant asteroid base with Victorian architecture jutting out
>Preventer Wind fighting a purple colored J enemy (cannon firing one) that powered up a Heaven and Hell attack a la Gaogaigar
>Misty from Pokemon piloting a water element powered Grungust Type 4 attacking with detachable leg blades, doing an inazuma kick and firing a water element chest blaster
>couple other things I can't remember as the dream faded
>mfw the entire time
I'm not sure what I ate before bed but I really want elemental powered Grungust Type 4 to happen.
>tfw the Team Rocket trio will never concoct zany schemes of the episode to steal robots
before joining up three quarters of the way through the game with whichever contraption it is they're using at that point
I never understood why Shuu had stats that good. He's just a scientist, and he rarely pilots at all, mostly using the Granzon's hax to one shoot everything in the few times he deplots. Meanwhile, every other person with high stats are ace pilots, are so specialized in something that they are super good in that aspect and mediocre/shit in others, or are prodigy pilots who lives to pilot.
>not the supreme ubermensch of SRW
Fucker's a brilliant scientist, a ridiculously good pilot, and has out-schemed gods on multiple occasions. Oh, and he's also royalty.
People joke about "Mary Shu" for a reason, and it's not just his scientific ability.
He is just a scientist. Nobody ever says anything about him having trained for thousands of years in the ancient art of piloting, nobody says that he training with tibetian monks to reach enlightment and become one with his mecha and the universe, nobody said that he trained with and surpassed the best swordfighters, gunners and mecha pilots, all he has is his high IQ, prana and formerly being enslaved to volkruss, and given how "skilled" were the followers of volkruss, I doubt that being influenced by it makes you a terrific pilot.
He did nothing to earn those stats, and he even got his own familiar despite they were exclusive to the elemental lords. Even Eran doesn't have one, and he has the fucking high spirit of void and possession.
>He did nothing to earn those stats
So he's not allowed to just be broken as fuck by default?
Shu is the players self-insert, he out-trolls everyone around him and is secretly both the final boss and the main character of the series
And I'd guess he's also one of fan favorites, so he gets extra bonuses for that
Well, from what I gather (mostly from these threads) it's because Ingram is a time diver and Euzeth just simply doesn't know about any other time diver, but yeah he's most likely refering to Cobray since he's the closest thing to Ingram that we have
Shu is intended to be so far over the top as a mary sue that it becomes funny. Of you don't find it funny, you won't like Shu. Thankfully he mostly stays in the background and doesn't usually take center stage.
Fuck this ticket gasha. Fuck it in its stupid ass. I did three tries and got two SRs and zero SSRs out of it.
That's part of why I quit, despite the amazing artstyle and halfway-decent combat. Not splitting Craft Essences off into a separate gacha and not letting your units get exp from fights.
It's unique to JP, but basically, the more you fail to roll a 5* on a banner that's not one-time (Beginner/Lucky) or the Daily draw, the more likely you are to get a 5* on the next draw, and it resets after you get a 5*. The increase isn't THAT high, but if you bomb, say, six consecutive draws and do an 11 your chances are much higher than normal. Hell, I bombed 12 consecutive draws and pulled TWO 5* items on the next 11x, one of which was an SSB, and the other was an AoE heal. I have not taken Arc and Refia off my team since. This was during the FF3 Desch event in December.
Huh, I think they might have that in global, just maybe, last 5* I rolled was from the free draw after all other fails
I started that recently, it's pretty decent, suprised there are actual dungeons to run around and sort-of super bosses
But my best character is a 4* Sabin
>Huh, I think they might have that in global
They don't. People have been e-mailing DeNA like fucking crazy about it so it might actually be implemented one day. I feel bad for your luck, though. Last night, I spent 65 on the first Beatrix Banner because FUCK YES NO SHITTY MAGE WEAPONS, and I got Save the Queen and a second Power Sash (which is a bloody-amazing Light Armor with a Protectga shared SB).
Yeah, mythril-hoarding is a pretty good idea. 3SSB Celebration should be late-March. The first banner has Bartz, Lightning, and Aeris' SSBs on it, and one of the other double-rate items is a Thyrus, but knowing Global they'll throw the non-SSB items around at random to force people to drop money/mythril on multiple banners. Those dickheads. I really hope Thyrus at least stays on banner 1. I don't want to spend much mythril then because I'm saving for FFT (Hastega+PP on a 5* support with GOOD COMBAT STATS!) and some of the stuff that comes later.
What ever happened to the Weiss's einst parts anyway?
I thought they fell off at the defeat of the neue regursierierur. Or did they change it in 2nd OG since the einst aren't completely gone?
By the Einst.
Or I could be remembering this completely wrong and talking about my ass, I eagerly await being called a fucking retard, because the Weiss is clearly being powered by twelve Triangles of Tentacle Rape or whatever.
FG is best for attacking usually, FF is good for those few missions you need to MOVE NOW, GF is decidedly average, GG has a really bitching MAP.
As far as I can tell at least, I haven't personally used them.
It's basically Steve Austin with hair and a few tattoos.
Or maybe 'Taker will short hair, but he's too meaty to be 'Taker for me.
He's also Space Tony Stark.
IT WAS ME STEVE
IT WAS ME ALL ALONG
SRC Dungeon updated again, for anyone wanting to look at the most recent changes.
I was hoping someone would help out with the finer details, I can't into kanji very well.
Stuff I can figure out was that Iris from Sakura Wars got a new picture (not copy-pasted there, but she and Chirico are the most recent updated pilot pics), GunArc got a Parts slot removed and had something about its upgrade criteria(?) changed, as did Raiblade. God Gundam as well had it's kill requirement(?) changed from 30 to 35.
Oogami's Kohbu now requires you to attach a pilot as a partner before you can summon them in the menu, and Leni and Soletta from the series have their machine's named differently, from Kohbu to Eisencrait(?), Ultra Magnus had some kind of barrier-related bug worked on...
Did someone say BUTTCHEEK WINDOWS?
Cuz I'm pretty sure I've hear BUTTCHEEK WINDOWS, you guys don't happen to be heretics are ya?
How would you implement Build Fighters into a proper SRW?
I wouldn't, I'd make another Gakuen but this time with originals and include stuff like Danball and GBF
Well fuck you you posted that right when I was clicking submit, fuck that, you can't change the rules halfway into the game
Daily remainder that some people, me included liked Z3, both games, and though it had some disappointing things like no playable Esther and Tsine etc, it was still a very good and entertaining game.
They never said that.
In fact, her character description points out that she wears that outfit so she can have an excuse to show off her super special magical mark she has on her thigh.
Either they join by default or remain forever unplayable. OG hates the idea of secret pilots and hasn't done something like that since the very first game and even then, it was a mandatory pilot in kyosuke's route
>Excellen will never say "AI RABU YU"
Also man she shows up in the weirdest of shows
You'll get tons of Fury grunts including Vorlents and only 3 Raftclans since there's only 3 Moon Knights, though Ja-Mu high on Larselium would be hilarious if the voice work gets it right
>There is another reason listed in the supplemental material for Jua-Mu's behavior: Larselium can have adverse effects on the body, particularly on the glands that produce adrenaline and endorphins. While Al-Van, Fu-Lu and Gu-Landon have had proper training, Jua-Mu is promoted so fast he doesn't have enough time to adequately adjust his body to higher levels of Larselium found in the Laftkranz. In short, Jua-Mu is on a severe adrenaline high and an extreme pleasure high while using the Laftkranz that's slowly destroying his brain from the inside.
>Engineers just came up with a new Gespenst in OGverse
>But they realized the thing is too difficult to control without some sort of support AI that they actually can't develop
>Crossgate hijinks happen
>Haken ends up in OGverse with Phantom
>insert random bad guy from Endless Frontier that kicks everyone's asses for some reason
>Haken tells them to hook up Phantom to the Gespenst
>This starts playing
Also he gets combo with Alt and Weis
Ashsaber EXCEED, she can also pilot Soulgain and Vaisaga
Has to wait for Shura to return
Wasn't there once some sort of artbook that had some unused mecha designs? Like an upgraded Daizengar and some sort of upgrade to Fairlions? She could use that "upgrade"
What is the difference between these SRs?
Somehow it doesn't fit her, Kaguya seems like the last person to pilot a super given how she fights, also how does she control the blades of her Zankantou? They could bullshit her into being another psychodriver
Considering Lemon is alternate universe Excellen, probably. Especially once you get up to the double digit W models.
First if I know my numbers it'd be Yonshiki, second because Kaguya's sword is already called Goshiki Zankantou (the joke being that the kanji are all wrong in comparison to Grungust's swords).
By aiming for the cockpit
They need to do way instain mother> who kill thier babbys. becuse these babby cant frigth back? it was on the news this mroing a mother in ar who had kill her three kids. they are taking the three babby back to la geass too lady to rest my pary are with the father who lost his children ; i am truley sorry for your lots
Using her expertise in anatomy and robotics, Lemon provided female W numbers with an artificial womb equipped with everything neccesary to get pregnant. The W series even have a fully functional lactation system, although that needs for the W number to drink milk which is then processed so it is comparable with human milk
I don't remember the exact details, been a while since I played EF, but I'm pretty sure it did actually happen
In a game where you have free reign over stats with PP. I'm not saying you can/should do it on your first playthrough, but it'd be worth considering, in my mind, for subsequent playthroughs where I feel like being creative.
スーパーロボット大戦 GX (3DS)
劇場版 機動戦士ガンダム00 -A wakening of the Trailblazer-
>mfw there are retards who think Mist won't be in MD
Dunno if you are serious about this or not but if they did that, I'd cream my pants
>Moon Knights in high quality
It's going to be great but what if...
>Moon Knights ver. OG(or MD, however are they going to call it)
The question here is WHAT else could they add? Yeah these two won't make for enough material unless they come up with shitton of new stuff like the Argent class or the entire Ing plot(which in the end was still taken from that cancelled manga probably) in 2nd, if they really don't want to confuse new people then there's not much they could do I think
31 was the score it got in Famitsu, which is a two points or so below the average rating SRWs get.
Some people joked about that. Other people got mad at the people joking because I dunno.
Then it turns out that Famitsu was on the mark.
It's definitely above the line and in the realm of good game, there are much more "could go either way" entries in the series.
Neither did Tobikage, WoR, New Dunbine, etc. etc. but they still got in.
I agree with the first half of your post.
The second half is trash and you should be ashamed of yourself.
It's one of the most jejune titles in the post-Winky SRW library.
Dancouga, first of all. They fucking spell it in English in the original series, every single time it combines at that.
And Nova's not THAT bad. There are things Nova did that are good, and things it did that weren't, but its only crime is being in a lot of games in a small period... But even then, if you don't count sequels, it was only in 3 games.
>It's definitely above the line and in the realm of good game
Much of what it did right was an otherwise aesthetic change and the fact that it was, well, playable. The latter isn't substantial to achieve when the entire franchise pretty much already has a template for the latter to work off of.
Outside of those? I've got nothing.
Perhaps I am being too harsh by saying that it's "riding a fine line," but when it follows such a status quo with absolutely nothing innovative or new? I can't bring myself to call it good
I still fail to see how something maintaining the status quo, when the status quo is good, is somehow a bad thing.
It's like people crying rehash when a game, god forbid, gets a sequel with the same gameplay. You don't need to shake things up with every single installment. When that happens you get clusterfucks like what the Final Fantasy franchise has become.
Heh, you made the same mistake I did copy-pasting Shin Mazinger from SRC Dungeon's files. Though since you have Gundam Force on there it must be from elsewhere.
I'll need to start doing something to make my fake lists more noticeable, you got lots more attention than mine do.
Let's see there's
Real Robot Battleline( Char's granddaughter is now Ratsel's daughter)
Super Robot Shooting(Has Original enemies apparently)
I want to hope for Super Tokusatsu Taisen personally, but people here think there may be rights issues...
Saying that the complaint stems solely from "maintaining the status quo" is a false one contradicted when the very same post mentions that maintaining the status quo was among the things did right. Rather, the complaint stems from the situation in which all it could manage to do was maintain the status quo of the gameplay, which is a single factor in Super Robot Wars and really not even the most anticipated factor when a game is announced or released. And let it be known that including interesting stages, events, or interpretations of in-show events is not, in any way going to "shake things up," let alone turn future titles into clusterfucks.
>The complaint wasn't that it maintained the status quo
>The complaint was that it could only maintain the status quo
>and really not even the most anticipated factor when a game is announced or released
To you maybe
Z2-1? Really? It's the first half of a game stretched out over 50 stages with absolute ass for enemy density and a fucking terrible level progression.
In set-level games, Stage Number+3-5 (3 if the game runs over 60 stages, 5 if it's 59-60) should be the standard and should be held from start to finish instead of petering out FOR NO REASON in the last half-dozen stages like what Z1 did.
Oh and aperently Super Robot Pinball of all things has some Original enemies I suppose they could use for filler
Of course, ignoring the emphasis on "only"
>To you maybe
Not to me, but definitely to the general populace. I'd wager that, to the general consumer, it's a crossover first and a video game second.
It is the first game in the franchise where you can get every secret on a first run that doesn't accomplish that by having absolutely fucking nothing secrets-wise (like Neo or Z2) or by having no route splits (like GC)
It expands the MP system from UX, taking something that was exclusive to certain units with certain abilities and making it into its own proper bar, and fixing some of its issues at the same time.
Its menus are better than UX. Especially the Pairs menu, the way it works in BX is like ten times better than "oh, you didn't realize that unit you had paired in the far back (because you're never going to deploy it) is getting force deployed? Well, fuck you too!" and it's straight lines instead of that jaggedy thing.
It continued expansion on a couple of other systems that L and UX had, like the skill point system, and brought back the old days of Friendship bonuses with the Inspire system (which is broken as fuck, but it's a new system and they tend to be so eh.)
It's not as good as UX overall, but it's certainly not bad, and it did enough overall to expand on the old systems to work.
Can we get an upgraded Hiryu and new theme please? I really hate the original theme
I can only remember one time they actually spell it as Dancouga in the show proper, and that wasn't the robot, it was their band in God Bless.
>we can get to only K at maximum as a handheld game for the OG series
Why is that?
I don't mean that, I mean the fact that in BX, all the units are arranged in straight, up and down lines in the pair menu, while in UX they're not, and it's weird and annoys me slightly (Especially with the taller sprites like Deceive.)
>They also spell it the other way a lot, too.
They don't, not once in the whole show. I was actually keeping an eye out for it because I was trying to figure out where the hell people get "Dancougar" from
I can only assume wherever it started from was someone who never watched the show, since they spell out "D-A-N-C-O-U-G-A, DANCOUGA!" every time they combine. It's straight up the password to start the gattai sequence.
In the movie, the word "Dancougar" appears on screen once... at the debut of their band. So it's probably their band name, but it's definitely not the mech name.
Bonus round, Shapiro spends a bunch of episodes trying to figure out what the hell Dancouga is supposed to mean for some reason
Seriously though, he was on some dank ass space weed or something during that episode
It was? I couldn't tell
Your sarcasm cuts like a knife. A beam knife, because we're on /m/.
Really, though, "because it was the 80's" is a good-enough reason to explain anything that happened in the 80's.
Yeah that sounds about right
The film grain levels are at fucking maximum holy fuck
Sara's flashbacks to her dates with Shapiro are some of the funniest goddamn shit I've ever seen.
Nothing is ever really that bad. Except OE, maybe, and even that kept many people's interest enough to play it all the way through.
/srwg/, like all of /m/, all of 4chan, and all of the internet in general really, has at least one person who will declare any given game, show, or piece of media to be shit. If you listen to the harshest critics of everything, you'll never like anything.
It's just hyperbole.
Everybody in this thread and the world at large is guilty of it.
It isn't a "pesky 4chan/internet" phenomenon at all. It's a human phenomenon. If you have yet to indulge in such an act, then I ask you: are you still there?
>Except OE, maybe, and even that kept many people's interest enough to play it all the way through.
It was until it deleted my save file in chapter 6 for no reason and then expected me to play all the way back.
Is there an SR or SSR in X-O that has Repair? Just wondering if I'll be using Venus A (that and Trust+ really helps keep me salient) forever or not. I at least finally switched over to the Gran Gulan, because the armor boost does more for survivability than the Ptolemaios' evasion boost.
SR Aphrodite A and SSR Methuss, but aside from those... It might be best to keep an R Methuss and an R Venus A around fully Limit Broken, they're cheap enough to justify typically and if you were around for that big support event a while back you can patch their offense with Jack King. R Aphrodite A, on the other hand... Sending an R Defender to the frontlines is typically suicide.
Gimme a half an hour, maybe an hour, and I'll finish business on X-O to post it. (Should be kind of obvious from context if you know the game and what's available)
> It might be best to keep an R Methuss and an R Venus A around fully Limit Broken
Despite twentyfuckingeight Rares from the Premium Ticket gasha, none of them were a Metthus, and I might've owned one a while back but sold it because I've never liked Fa. My Venus A, though, is fully limit broken and its attack is fully-upgraded so Jun's damage is decent.
HOLY SHIT GUYS THEY JUST ANNOUNCED Z2
HOLY SHIT THAT SERIES LIST OH MAN
Seriously though, will there ever be a reveal as magical as when the first scans of Z2 popped up? Holy shit it felt like a fucking dream; TTGL, VOTOMS, Code Geass, Frontier, Armageddon, Shin Mazinger, Dai-Guard, Wing TV, 00, along with almost every series from Z2. All these fucking NEVER EVERS and new hype ass series suddenly coming out of nowhere, it was so great. Too bad it was on the PSP, though it did make it a ton more accessible to everyone else since it was so easy to CFW. Back when we also had 24/7 PSP hacking general with that one guy helping everyone out on tech support. Good fucking times.
I don't get burnout in any rational sense of the word with SRW. I usually do the first 3-4 playthroughs within a short time period, play other stuff, and then do 2-3 more runs over a longer stretch. Unless it's something like OGs where I blitzed the fuck out of OG1 and a few runs of OG2 to build resources for Ex-Hard due to doubled PP costs, which I'm not even done with. I am probably going to do Ex-Hard OG1 Kyosuke after this playthrough of OG2, then do 10-bar Special OG1, Ex-Hard OG2, then 10-bar Special OG2, then do 15-bar Special of OG1 and 2 back-to-back and then I'll be done. Provided Ex-Hard OG2 doesn't drive me completely fucking mad due to the first half of the game.
It's not meant as an indictment of the internet. It's a statement that no matter what your favorite show/game/book/movie is, there's at least one person who thinks it's terrible. If you let someone saying "it's shit" cause you not to watch or play something, you won't find anything that has universal approval.
>playing through Hakai
>first 20 or so stages
>holy shit this is fucking amazing this game is great
>Z1 returners start popping up
>'eh, this is getting old'
>playing through Saisei
>THE BURN OUT IS FUCKING REAL BOYS
>struggle to get past one playthrough
>"i'm glad it's over"
What the fuck went wrong? I can replay through Hakai's first 20 stages no problem and it feels fresh every time, and then everything starts going downhill and even lower in Saisei.
Hakai's still great as long as you ignore most of the Z1 returnee (I normally used 2 of them in any given playthrough).
Saisei isn't horrible, but by this point you've gotten bored of having the same animations for the Z1 cast, the Super Robot route is fucking boring (it was ok in Hakai, and that's mostly due to Daiguard, and GL's first half), the characters that where absent in Hakai arrive very late, the Gundam route gets repetitive fast, Votoms is done really badly, the Zexis route is somehow worse than the standard route, ridiculous cash flow that ruins all challenge, and the final boss battle is a joke (more so than usual).
I forgot to mention, the biggest mistake of the game is something that was introduced in Z, being able to increase your robots accuracy with cash. You have to ignore it for any semblance of difficulty, since using that makes any fight with votoms/gundam/code geass enemies into a one sided slaughter.
How is it you people have managed 3 draws of that? I'm still on my second.
I've been playing it for a bit now, though.
Pic's a bit innacurate, amongst other things I've limit broken the R Van Ein and the SR Shooter Aegis Gundam one more time and obtained a Nadleeh and a Dunbine since then.
>Started with 60 crystals
>Blew 40 of them and got 6 tickets
>Had a few leftover
>Did the daily's
I honestly feel like I'm doing a slightly jacked up version of the Friend gacha. No SSRs in sight and maybe 3 SRs
Saisei didn't really have any burnout. It just felt boring almost the whole way through. After Hakai having a surprisingly decent difficulty, Saisei just made it a million times easier, even before you account for the fact that it gave you like 10x as much cash per stage.
The rates aren't nearly as bad as the Friend Gacha, at least. That's for the Formidable Foe events.
...which, come to think of it, next month is going to have one of those, isn't it?
OGs was more magical to me.
Then 2ndOG was pure orgasm.
In unrelated ITS FUCKING NOTHING news, here's some HD marketing pictures and art:
I was saving Premium Tickets for the third base gasha, and then this event comes along and throws 2/day at me, and that's how I managed to reach 30 tickets for literally nothing but two SRs and a huge fucking pile of S-Chips.
How many rolls did you do before that SSR?
Being a bit bored I just noticed Touya has AKC on his shoulder.
No, really. I'm only holding onto my C and UC units for the daily mission of 3 friend buys+3 fusions+Full Limit Break Achievement, and every time I get an R I've already completed the friend mission for I sell it. Only reason I'm holding onto SRs is because they need to hit level 40 for all the friend missions.
JESUS. Dood, that's horrible.
Probably just means all the J protag mechs were definitely built by the company Calvina worked for instead of just not really having their origins mentioned, besides Calvina mentioning the controls are the same as the mech(s) she tested before.
My SSRs are, in order:
>from my first 30 pull, in an increased drop rate for SSRs thing (The first one in the game with Exia and Zegapain Altair)
>from... a 30 pull at some point, I forget precisely when I came upon Dancouga but it was an increased SSR rate event pull
>the premium ticket pull I just did for Dunbine
Those pulls are... quite bad, really. I guess you can max out a Venus A, at least? And some of the SRs are good. Dunno what to say here.
Whichever one you picked was supposed to be a super duper test prototype stolen by Touya's dad for the PPG to escape in, that's why it has the Larselium Canceler instead of a normal Larselium. Not sure why the Fury would build that into one of their own mechs but villains tend to be kinda stupid about stuff like that. I guess it was just assumed before that it was from some Fury hangar since AKC was already a smoldering pile of ash by then.
So I learned how to dig through stage data to read dialogue and how stages go through bit by bit, and Super G Robot Wars continues to go to strange places. Somewhere in the 50s of its 80+ stages (and it's still incomplete, and given the last update was in August, probably forever 65% as well), we have Great Mazinger plot that apparently decides to reenact some Kamen Rider Black stuff, complete with equipping Tetsuya with a King Stone, some time after Great Mazinger talks to him, thanking him before going boom, I guess, and some secret flag for the survival of some kid he talks to prior to the stage, I guess.
I need to start actually playing these games again, just to witness and maybe summarize the madness myself.
>great zeorymer style secret where you're not allowed to deploy the excellences except when they're forced to
>almost every time you do, the fury shit on them
>if you don't get the secret they get dunked on so hard they go back to the rescue
>secret comes so late it's not worth it
Despair is canon route.
They could always BS some connection with a new Compatible Kaiser plot and have Dark Brain trying to get his mitts on Despinis somehow.
Or, have her acting funny and "betray" the group for a while, but the only reason for that is because Dark Brain's returning through her, through some mumbo-jumbo about her being an extension of Duminass, which was in a way an extension of him.
I posted this in a previous thread but nobody could help me, anyway...
I'm playing SRW F and I was going almost smoothly until I stumbled upon chapters 17 and 18. I chose the hard route at the beginning of chapter 17, and then Seti showed up, beat Eva-01 in a single strike, Eva-01 went berserk and beat her ass, that's the only reason I made it to chapter 18.
Now, on chapter 18 there's no Evas, and defeating Seti is, as far as I can tell, impossible.
All of her attacks deal a lot of damage, most of them are 1-hit instakill, and all of my most powerful attacks (like Mazinger's breast fire) have 0% of hit chance against her. No problem because I can still use the special ability to have a 100% chance during 1 turn, but still a breast fire from Mazinger only deals like 1000 HP to her, and she has over 40k HP, it's a monstrosity.
I've read that she runs away when you manage to take 50% of her HP, but frankly I don't see how I can make it. Even if I manage to survive, there's a point when I run out of points to use the special abilities and I'm stuck with 0% hit chance, it's useless. This is actually what bothers me the most because he strongest attack eventually runs out once her energy meter goes below 30 (and stays that way), and I can recover energy, so it's not really a problem of her killing me, but rather, I can't kill her, I just come to a checkmate situation when I can't do anything to her.
I've read some guide online that says that you can try taking her down with Shou and his strongest aura attack, but he still has 0% hitting chance against seti, and he doesn't have the 100% hit ability, or maybe I haven't unlocked it yet.
I believe I was simply not prepared at all, unless there's something I don't know.
Good thing I have a different save after chapter 16, so I can now go back and take the easy route on ch. 17. If I only had 1 save file, I would need to restart the whole game.
SRW sometimes makes people from different series know about each other prior to the game's start. Like putting them in the same town or going to the same school or working for the same organization.
People run with it, because SRW doesn't have a large variety of meme.
It's been years since I played it, but I know you can definitely shoot her down with the Dunbine. Took me a lot of resets, that's for sure. I think the problem is your Shou is underleveled? I'm pretty sure you get either Focus or Lock on for him.
It basically started because of that one UX hating person whose breaking point for believability was apparently Joey/Kurou despite the fact that SRW has always had a history of cross-series friendships.
It helps that his statements were really memetic for some reason.
I simply cannot hold back at the excitement of playing as Will
Somebody being particularly anal about one of their favorite series, huh? I think there's someone I know who probably would have thrown some issues around UX, too. Probably around the point Tobikage starts smacking Master Therion around early-game.
Tobikage could totally do that though. Master Therion is really good, but Tobikage is literally 100% fucking invincible if your name doesn't start with "Zero" and end with "Kage" (and assuming it isn't piloted).
I found it rather hilarious given what I'd been hearing from this person who would spout the powers of the Demonbane in the same way you might hear TTGL go on.
Though more fun for me was memories of a size-comparison chart video on youtube, and remembering that Tobikage and Therion's mech were on nearly opposite ends of the chart.
Liber Legis, at the time, is about 50 meters tall. It doesn't reach War God status at any time in the first game, and the anime is faithful in that regard.
Now, Tobikage is at most 4~5 meters tall, so that's still a significant difference, but if LL was THAT large, it wouldn't really fit in a city, now would it?
It's fucking 51.3 meters, you fucking frothing butthole.
I'm done talking to you.
But in all seriousness, I find it humorous that Tobikage is referred to as the "Messenger of the Void."
Maaya Sakamoto for Calvina
Kenichi Suzumura for Al-Van
And your franchise has a space rat infestation.
