>THE GUNDAM HYPE TRAIN HAS REACHED ITS SIXTEENTH STOP!
>WHAT'S THAT? DUMB PLOT POINTS? DISAPPOINTMENT FROM THE FANS?
>STEEL YOURSELF MEN! A STORM IS COMING! WE NEED TO SHINE IN THE STORM!
>Has a death flag been raised for Fumitan? Find out now in episode 16!
#2015YearofMecha #ガンダム #gundam #Gの鉄血 #gtekketsu
>Noscoped Sniped by XXX_RandomAssassin_XXX to protect XXX_RevolutionGrill_XXX (Kudelia)
>Sad airhorn plays in the background
Would you take his hand and aboard the hype train /m/?
this is nice, I know its shit, but its still sorta cute
26 Gundam frames? More like 26 Gundam animation frames in total for the whole season!
should have used this gif
still more frames than an average episode
Theres one guy who keeps calling 180223 out on his shit but I can't remember his name. His post are pretty hilarious and exposes the faggot that 180223 is.
I'm just surprised how that guy 180223 has gotten 8k likes/subs
Why are the action scenes so poorly animated compared to the talky scenes, and why is this Gundam series downright hesitant to show any action whatsoever?
Why does the main character not have much in the way of character development, yet occupy so much screentime?
I don't understand.
>16 episodes in
>The White Base had already descended to Earth
>In Zeta Amuro had already returned
>In ZZ Glemy had already appeared and done shit
>In V we had already gotten to space
>In G Devil had appeared
>In W Tallgeese was fighting Heavyarms
>In X we had dolphins
>In Seed the Archangel had descended and Kira had fucked Flay
>In Destiny Kira had returned, Athrun had returned and Shinn had went SEED. Junius 7 had happened
>In 00 The Trinities had appeared
>In AGE we were at Gen 2
>In BF we already had SBS vs WGF
>In IBO a pointless character dies
This is the most do nothing Gundam series ever
Haven't seen Turn A or G-Reco so I can't compare where they were in 16 episodes
Its available here in australia
G-Reco isnt though, which now that I think about it is the reason why so many people like IBO over G-Reco: they are literally all streamfags
Of course there is nothing wrong with using official streams but if it wasnt on youtube IBO fans wouldnt exist
I don't think so, back when Reco was globally stream-able loads of people were shitting on it in the comments. Pic related.
Now I can see why IBOs neverending obvious expository dialogue appeals to these guys
What in god's name were they expecting? A well-crafted science fiction drama? Read a fucking novel in that case. If you want to have melodrama and robots beating the shit out of each other, you fucking watch mecha anime.
I told you guys not to believe in Nagai and Okada together but did you fucking listen? Did you? Nooooo
What did I say? I said "fucking Cloverfield nigga from Railgun and Okada, the dramalust queen together on a Gundam anime is just going to be boring shit" but NOOOOOOOOO
There was no consensus, dumbass. Every tine we had a thread about it it woukd have at least three completely different with each poster saying "GOD IT'S SO OBVIOUS YOU BUILD BABIES."
I don't know too much about these two but from what I heard on /m/ when their names were anounced I was expecting some over the top melodrama and bad plot, and things actually happen.
>and things actually happen.
No no no, oh no, not with Nagai directing.
If it was Okada and some no name, maybe there would be more happening albeit trainwrecky, but not Nagai, the master of nothing
Maybe the budget is extremely low. Even the talky scenes have wonky moments like Atra's face constantly shapeshifting.
Where the fuck did those colored trails come from? Like, blue is one thing with the thrusters, but the eyes shouldn't be emitting persistent green particles.
Also, did they not remember that the Barbatos is NOT covered in thrusters? In no way should it have that kind of mobility.
No, just used to Gundam animation usually factoring in future upgrades when considering the starting performance of a suit.
In this one respect, IBO seems to be emulating Naruto and DBZ where the only difference in animation over time is that the other guys start getting slower.
Legitimately though being square means conform which kinda goes along with>>13807491 though my logic was that if square=conformity then circle=dynamic.
Also i cant pass up a chance to reference its hip to be square.
It's not just about the pleasures of conformity, but a personal statement about the band itself
I've seen him on a ton of videos complaining about how anime is dead and moe killed it. On Demo D's Gunbuster video he talks about how anime was better when Gunbuster came out.
I usually call him out on his bullshit when I see it but he deletes my posts.
>Of course there is nothing wrong with using official streams
Well yeah, they're shitty quality. It's wrong to use shitty streams to watch anime when there are people who spend hours encoding and subbing it in as high as quality as they can.
Did the guy really take the line literally? He doesn't even seem able to figure hey this might be a figure of speech. Like you'd have to be pretty dumb to need more than a minute to go oh it's that people aren't opening their eyes and seeing that the issue is not so simple and has more to it.
They need it to stick around a bit to move units, they may also not want to kill cause they have to keep the fujo bait flowing. I think we will see one or two of the kids die by the end but not a whole lot
>A well-crafted science fiction drama? Read a fucking novel in that case
A novel like Ready Player One? Or The Martian? Putting something on a pedestal just because its a book is silly.
/m/ anime is just as legitimate as science fiction as anything else.
It's depressing that a show made nearly a decade ago (yes 00 was 2007) had better animation than IBO.
Despite all the hate it gets I still really enjoy IBO. The suit designs are nice and I like the characters. The animation isn't the worst shit I've seen out of a gundam series either.
I don't hate it at all. My main problem is it seems content to just sit idly on the "nothing-offensive-but-nothing-great" level. It becomes stagnant after a while, you know? Like nothing's moving.
I feel you on that a little bit. I don't think it's the first series I've watched like that, but no excuses. I thought we'd be seeing heavy revolutionary shit around episode 14, I hope we get there soon. The opening would seem to hint at it happening, but we'll see.
>I thought we'd be seeing heavy revolutionary shit around episode 14, I hope we get there soon.
They are leaving next episode so don't expected to get much into that, then after it is too earth finally
