So has anyone been able to clear level 3 yet completely?
I can't stop almost mistaking Ted for Akira.
In the LN IIRC he never searched for the name directly, he just looked up all the old news articles about battles from the 70s that he could find and realized that all mention of the commander of the 1st Panzerkorps disappeared shortly before Operation Palaiologos.
I thought it was pretty clear that's what he did in the anime too, searching for his name wouldn't even work.
When is Strike Frontier playable?
Also hilariously his name actually appears on screen anyways.
>thinks that's unusual
This is what happens when a human goes over it manually with a black marker. Shit gets tedious real quick and mistakes get made. This is 80s, remember.
>tfw I remember using Polish made IBM PC XT clone that looked just like what Eberbahah is using.
It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the dialogue directly contradicting it.
Was the infantry getting fucked all tank spam originally or have they just decided to never use non-CGI BETA this season and leave out Warrior-kun?
It is pretty fast paced, episode 2 already ended at chapter 7 of the VN, but then even each chapter were short on the VN. I think the original LN should be longer and more in depth than the VN.
But either way, the VN should still be the definitive version of the story.
no, because fucking Gretel out of nowhere & later out of
MAXIMUM PENETRATIONto deploy, after fending off those Gretels back to dust.
any strategy to beat it? or should i level up more before into stage 3?
do it, anon.
... fuck, those feels won't faded away ;_;
Not really bored by it. Faster paced than I'd wished, yes, but I'm still enjoying it.
Granted, I haven't read either of LN or VN, so I can't actually say how bad the "Adaptation" part is.
I'll never understand those stupid helmets East Germany so loved
Destroyer-Class Plushie mass-production will be finished around June
oh yeah, look what the postwoman just brought me.
The ATD-X comes from 2015's Lunatic Dawn issue. I believe drafts for the A-12 Avenger TSA is in there too, but the issue is named Schwarzesmarken primarily due to the focus being on the MiGs of the series.
The J-20 design is released as a doujin group work, not by age, and separate from the LDs. However, the mechanical designer for the J-20 design is credited directly to Kouki, so... yeah.
There is no official PAK-FA design yet.
How would you design a TSF carrier? Seriously, you can't just simply upscale an aircraft carrier design.
It's a shame Unicorn also went with upscaling when other Gundam series actually attempted new designs.
I'd just create the Iowa with an Ise-style deck
Why is it that both TE and Schwarz have TSFs slowly take off vertically and then convert to forward flight, whereas in the VNs when TSFs start flying from a stationary position they generally did it by leaning forward and then launching upwards and forwards at high acceleration?
The TDA megatsunami spam is one-off. I don't think any kind of storage method short of contact-less electromagnetic holding field generators backed by protected independent batteries connected to the ship reactor would have saved them from any kind of damage.
You could reasonably expect to see a row of them kneeling on the top deck during alert phases or standby duties, if not just standing.
All the time is a bit too much, though. I presume lying down makes it easier to service the TSF and for pilots to get in or out without building an entire land-type hangar and the accompanying walkways, standing braces, and staircases without making the ships dangerously top-heavy. Besides, damage to the TSF is less if it has to smash something during choppy seas; given that they're braced in a holding frame on carriers with parking breaks and clamps etc., the chances of actually breaking free to smash something is even less.
Unless your ship gets tossed vertically upwards off the surface of the ocean by the spasms of a tortured planet's gravity field or something similar.
I am advocating them lying down. Do you mean vertically (standing up) or horizontally (lying down)?
I guess what I wanted to say was that that if they were standing or even being on the top deck at all, it would be for the purposes of quick deployment. The carrier top deck has zero functions to secure a TSF at all. I doubt it is useful for anything other than sunning bored Marines, launching TSFs during ops, and for TSF pilots to make picturesque last stands.
If you have a QRF squadron on duty the pilots would probably already be in suit; it would be easier to keep their TSFs ready to sortie rather than have to drag everything out of the shed, locker, and closet, especially since most carrier TSFs are stored without jump units and pylons.
Of course there's nothing stopping them from putting everything together under sortie time limits, but I imagine that within the pre-mission time bracket or during major operations where they need to keep cycling fresh units under a tight time schedule, it would be reasonable to see TSFs at a corner of the top deck waiting for their turn at the catapult feet braces to launch instead the launch lift repeatedly going down to the lower deck to collect the TSFs.
At the least, the Korean War probably happened on account of the Soviets continuing construction of their Sovetsky Soyuz-class battleships prior to a conflict mentioned as such. Note that this is not mentioned in IW's timeline section but rather in IW's entry for the battleship itself.
Any allusions to the Vietnam War has yet to be mentioned at all.
The problem with storing things vertically taller than their standing base is always the risk of it falling over, especially dealing with something that has several bending points, like at the knees, and the waist, for a giant robot (especially one already built to be top-heavy for the purposes of high maneuverability). The taller they are, the greater the forces that act on them. Like >>13804428 mentioned you don't want one faceplanting itself in rough weather the moment it's not lashed to the deck.
The largest known TSF storage on a carrier is about 40 TSFs so I think the series is well and self-aware that safely storing them away is going to reduce the number of deployable TSFs from a carrier. The Japanese only do theirs standing-up because it's a remodeled tanker ship built for the express purpose of ferrying TSFs to and from the battlegrounds of the continental mainland/Sado Island. It has neither a catapult, extended operational endurance capacities or even ocean-going endurance for itself.
I like Minami Tanaka but she is pretty much awful in the anime, isn't she?
I don't think she more than half understands what the fuck she's voice acting to start with either. And I don't mean that in the sense of Yuuko's VA going "what the fuck am I reading" but just it not really being her type of anime. It would be a real shame to finally have Numakura in a robot anime and never get to see her in any of the promotional stuff while Minyami kind of stumbles through everything given the interest Nunu has in this kind of material.
Originally we only knew about the PF until LD10. Seems like this is a recent addition. So what's the P's shtick, being a conversion kit version of the original for when you need a whole squadron with super comms instead of probably having to fiddle madly with the head as with the PF?
Wait... is the P's head the same one on Theo's MiG custom?
Diplomatic concession in the divorce.
West Germany gets to keep Nazi rank insignia. East Germany gets to keep the tunics, but has to use Soviet-style helmets.
Can't have each side confusing their boys, can we?
East Germany truly was Best Germany
It makes sense, but I just wanted to point out that officer's wearing a Soviet military school badge.
>It would be a real shame to finally have Numakura in a robot anime
But Schwarzesmarken is a mecha anime, not a robot anime. Numakura's right there in Pandora, voicing an actual qt robot girl, go listen to her there.
You didn't say ロボットアニメ、 you said "robot anime". Moving on, I wonder when we'll get to see Kirke's anime design. At the current breakneck pacing, she'll show up by about the episode after next, right? Usually they show that sort of thing at least a week in advance from what I remember.
Because she exists as a character in the original SM story, and if they can show Vivi for a few minutes and have me cry when she dies and when they show that adorable, yet also informative, flashback, I'm pretty sure they can spare Kirke for an episode.
>You didn't say ロボットアニメ、 you said "robot anime"
>Super Robot Taisen is now Super Mecha Wars
Do you even know that Japanese don't say Mecha for " Giant piloted robot humanly shaped " ?
Mecha is only used for anything mechanical there. It can literally be anything from a robot to a car or even a clock. They use Robot to refer to what we call Mecha.
You mean the Type-94s and F-15Js not seen in the capital during the Kyoto battle (no 1c is not a representation of the main Shiranui lineage), no grey Zuikakus mixed in amongst the F-4Js, only one Su-37 instead of a full squadron, no full-bodied models of the MiG-23/-27s as background scenery to chew, F-14Exs not portrayed being decimated by Idar despite doing everything correctly, the Mirage 2000s not seen clashing with Bao-Feng, the F-5Es not seen jobbing to everyone else, Yuuya ironing out the initial kinks in the XFJ-01 against Garuda's F-18 variants because the Hornets weren't even designed when TE was airing and only finally appeared in last year's LD, subpar battle choreography in the final battle until the last episode?
Mecha being underrepresented in a mecha show, of course I'm going to be a autist about it. The core mecha were retained? Of course they were, there wouldn't be a show about it at all otherwise.
Well, I suppose I should be thankful that battleships firing and bombers bombing weren't "weeeeeeeeeeew comin' in from offscreen cause we ain't got no budget for a glorified advertisement".
Mecha's are pretty good
But goddamn, those fookin' waifus...
>1C is literally just an overclocked Shiranui and is not functionally different in any way
>hurr durr doesn't count
>wanting Zuikakus that don't exist
>expecting obsolete shit in places that don't make sense
>irrelevant 1st gens, including ones that still appeared in the show
>ignoring the fact the anime was the first time Berkut actually did anything, the first major Zuikaku appearance, first time 1C appeared as anything but "that thing that became 94 Second" so Volks can sell a repaint, and the outright first reveal of yellow Type-82F, Type-98XR, and crappy orange Vipers.
Incidentally this scene is only in the anime either, in the game Vincent is just yelling at shit off screen with the occasional shot of MiG-29s.
Plus I mean, it's the first time any yellow 00Fs besides Yui's ever appear, which helps with that whole novel TE being full of special snowflake repaints thing.
That and the novel version never had any F-4Js.
>Gripen will never get any screentime apart from a two-second cameo
Yes. There's fuck all difference anyways and they still wouldn't have modeled them to appear in 1/4 of an episode.
Still think they should have done Tomcat, although Schwarzesmarken being a different 3D studio makes the payoff there pretty marginal.
But I mean the logic I guess with Tomcat is basically yes they only appear two places in the story (Kyoto and Iran team) but for that matter they only had F-4s appear in two places either (Kyoto and Africa team). Even that being the case with the Gekishits appearing in large numbers while the Tomcats just cameo, they could have skipped the F-4s entirely and done the Kyoto arc with Fubukis and Shiranuis if they really wanted to.
Fubuki in particular is as is such a waste of time the thing literally only has one sprite in the game.
Those are Super Hornets.
LD9 later introduces an actual variant for the Garuda Test Flight's modified Hornets. They take the first round against Argos in the Blue Flag exercises.
TE Rising has a modified Hornet variant introduced for the Australians as well.
I suppose the easiest way to explain this is that their appearance was retconned in, but at the same time, not really, they've been stated to use nonstandard Hornet variants ever since TE's Tech Gian days. They just didn't have a picture of them until recently.
Picasso Shiranui is not the typical rank-and-file Shiranui. I wanted to see normal Shiranui in there too. Was that too much?
>Zuikakus that don't exist
The fuck? The Zuikaku also had grey. What did Iwaya pilot during his test against Eagles in 1986 then, a cardboard box?
>expecting obsolete shit in places that don't make sense
Yeah cause a couple of Zuikaku of the, I don't know, IRG maybe, yeah, would be out of place in the capital, and the MiG-23/-27/-29 was totally not the cheap cheerful shit dispersed all over the Soviet military while they were busy trying to build more Sufonishit.
>irrelevant 1st gens, including ones that still appeared in the show
I don't think you got the point that a still pan-over that looked like they used whiteboard markers to line over the TSFs in both the original airtime AND in the BD was not the salve I was looking for.
Let's not make excuses here, with all the filler spaces in the episode listing they could have fitted in TSFIA #30's material into the last episode as an epilogue of sorts if they wanted to.
> first major Zuikaku appearance
Yeah, so where is the other most numerous variant apart from the whites, yellows, and reds? They're in the goddamn capital, the staging base of the IRG. I'm not asking for major screentime, but just secondary appearances. Is that so hard to understand?
>1C appeared as anything but...
I don't even follow you anymore. A repaint of what? The A3, the sole product that came out back in 2008? People were having minor bitching about blue Type-00's kit release because it's the only way they could get an EML-99X for only their 1/144 Koto kits. Anyone repainting a -94 into 1c colors can only replicate the 1c model otherwise.
>yellow Type-82F, Type-98XR, and crappy orange Vipers
Yellow was anticipated ever since yellow -00, they could have mentioned it in an LD and everyone would know it exists. Same with -98XR, it's visually identical to the -00. They only did it for the F-16s because they had the models lying around, same for the F-4s replacing the Mirage 2000, the conveniently decided to showcase it a variant.
See I can downplay your views too.
I mean I'm just harping on TE like an asshole for stuff that's already been repeated to death both in previous posts all the way back since it aired, some for and against posts I even made myself, and to my long-suffering friend whom I just had yet another talk about TE's run and SM's potential falling into the "terrible adaptation" hole not even 2 fucking hours before I posted, but I don't even know how you manage to set up your post to completely overshoot my points, overgeneralize them, and then choosing to go so far over them you could join up with the HSST fleet in orbit.
Anyone silly enough to claim otherwise with regards to the rarity of Take color variants in general would have done the same to the red and yellow Zuikaku.
You finally see the point I'm trying to make now? Eagle 3D models also existed to easily convert into the F-15J, so whatever reason they had even when when they had all these resources lying around, only they would know.
I'm not even complaining about the scant cameo of the F-14, but how the decisions to use certain 3D models and skip on others was a rolling combo of unfinished design work during its airtime, cut corners, and all-around don't-give-a-fuck, because I can't disagree that it's not TE's focus at the end of the day without just lying to myself.
Dude IW outright says that the MiG-23/-27 family constitutes 40% of the Soviet inventory as of 2001. That leaves the other 60% to be shared amongst the Su-27/-37/-47 (-47 being an infinitesimally small number of them, probably) and the MiG-29. That's somewhere around a third.
Yeah, we saw -29s too. Now that you mentioned it, parked in an Alaskan base, as rear as rear gets. To be fair, they later appeared on the frontlines finally, but only age knows why -29s are so prominent in the final part when Su-27s are supposed to carry a fair bit of the work in front fighting.
It would be nice to see the MiGs done, even in the shitty background style they did with the TSFs that were supposed to make moving models of in a perfect world where "adaptation" wasn't industry slang for "here's some peanuts, now make me a full-length anime", but since they relegated the secondaries to cameos, the cameos naturally get bumped a step further down and get nothing.
Yeah, I'm sorry. I forgot myself. Adaptation. Shave off, not value-add. Well, VG did narrate the crash of a -23/-27, so I suppose I'll just concede this point.
It's not like F-15Js ever show up anywhere but the one Chronicles that goes out of its way to feature it. They are used very little.
There are pretty clear creative reasons why you would go with F-4J spam though. 1) to make a clear distinction between the earlier time period and current day by using almost exclusively old style TSFs, 2) because having the protagonists flying boxy fuck Zuikakus while heroic looking Shiranuis get killed en masse would be very strange looking. If you put MP Shiranuis in there it requires a lot more explanation for the audience to understand what the fuck Argos is doing.
The MiG-29s are used heavily because MiGs are much more heavily exported and the primary aircraft of countries like say, East Germany.
Also could you either stop watching anime or stop being a whiny cunt?
>I want irrelevant token cameos
>but these token cameos don't count
How am I supposed to respond to you seriously? You're disregarding recolours at the same time you're complaining about a lack of recolours, what kind of joke is that?
>The Zuikaku also had grey
It's black you blind retard
You aren't making this easier.
The one Chron that features it heavily is a tongue-in-cheek work as of itself where the MVP are Saint Seiya by any other name. Its actual appearance not involved with for-fun works or as recolored UN gear are a single cameo in MLA and in TDA 01 and 02 as flashbacks. However its IW intro makes it clear that the IJA colors and loadout do have a presence in the IJA military, enough that they can throw F-15Js into the cheorwon Hive even in 2003 rather than using stock Shiranui or spare F-4s.
Spam doesn't mean that they need to entirely cut out the other variants. This is what I have been saying since fucking forever. The entire point of the two episodes was to show how fucked they were and it doesn't help you if you were special or not or had a special unit or not. But apparently all-or-nothing is a staple of throwaway anime and they assume the viewers can't infer.
Funny you say that about the MiGs because you tell me MiG-29s are seen but then they're all export. There is only one export MiG in TE and those are the OVTs which are semi-developed by East Germany in partnership with the Western bloc nations. Not counting the ones used by Russians at Yukon Base and were jacked by the RLF as drone fighters, not counting the ones turning up during the Evensk fight, the two places where MiGs are prominent because the first is in an urban setup where the MiG-29 had proved itself socking insurgents during the 1990s and the second because fuck if I know, where did all the frontline Sukhois go? Again, there is supposed to be a mix of the two represented. Nothing to do with export MiGs, dude, what the hell are you prattling on about?
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you wanted a discussion of what TE did wrong and a points exchange on what might have been done right, not blind vindication. Just don't respond to this post, then.
Its main appearance is in the Isumi sidestory.
>The entire point of the two episodes was to show how fucked they were and it doesn't help you if you were special or not or had a special unit or not. But apparently all-or-nothing is a staple of throwaway anime and they assume the viewers can't infer.
Okay anime direction expert.
Why the fuck are you randomly bringing up game things in your anime bitching? You're just having a bitchfit, nobody was ever dumb enough to be trying to discuss anything with you but tell you to settle your goddamn autism.
there is only one possible path the Gekishit can go to stop sucking ass
I did come off strongly deriding it as an adaptation. That much I will admit, that is all I will admit to. At the very least you seem interested in replying, though. Angrily, but don't take my word for it, it's, uh, "subjective", after all.
>Why the fuck are you randomly bringing up game things in your anime bitching?
...in the -> game <- Vincent is just yelling at shit off screen...
>...literally only has one sprite in the -> game <-.
>It's not like F-15Js ever show up anywhere but the -> one Chronicles <- that...
And for "Isumi sidestory" in response to "The one Chron", Akira was in an F-4J (MLA), Michiru trained in an F-4J (Confessions), Akira later turns up in TSFiA, not a game, with an F-15J, and any mention of the Isumi younger sisters then shifts to Type-04s, also in TSFIA. F-15J's feature is in Ayu-Mayu.
You keep mentioning F-15Js with regards to the games, all I've been saying is that with its level of exposure in the -> settings <-, a -> good adaptation <- of TE would have thrown in appearances because apparently they have no issues recoloring sprites and there were perfectly good F-15 ones lying about. Applies to everything I've been saying, really, in case you were too busy seeing red to notice.
I don't know, you tell me why when the follow-up in >>13814977 immediately jumps to the games. Are you even the same anon?
For the record, you include the 1c, but dismiss every TSF that have differing models, Hornet being the prime example. I could ask the same thing of yourself.
>The grey on every kuso heimin IJ TSF ever
There is a single TSF using a main color that is in any way related to "black" and that is Wilfried's EF-2000, which does not pertain to this matter at all. I didn't bring up the 12cap system, I'm just calling the colors as I see it. I am just responding to you since >>13815182, you know. You're the one that keeps adding in more stuff to shoot yourself with.
i posted the wrong wip, lol me ;3c
im gonna an hero
Infantry weapons are perfectly effective against the smaller, lesser armored BETA.
They could probably do it with the jump boosters-equipped armored exoskeletons of that time if not for their operational range probably being really short even compared to TSFs.
Or the danger of being massed by even Warrior-classes, even.
They're the smallest regularly used. How often do we even see warriors? Infantry only slow them down for a short while, which isn't enough to make throwing thousands of lives away worth it.
>Warriors leaping into the air to rip flying exoskeletons apart
Kurt basically says what they're doing is retarded but they have no choice when a major civilian population is so close.
Schwarzesmarken is probably the worst in the franchise for forcing retarded scenarios to justify people dying in terrible ways, which is saying something.
Well, probably not apart immediately, but the despair is still there since just one Warrior on your foot will slow you down, enough that others will jump up to grab on and eventually you'll fall to the ground in a Warrior katamari of alien vicegrip fingers who'd grip you all over, breaking bones and crushing ribs even as they make you feel extremely sodomized, and pull you from the embrace of your now being-torn-apart exoskeleton and proceed to quarter you alive by tearing you apart faster than ancient Chinese execution techniques. The new Death by Tanks, basically.
Although, getting slapped out of the air by a passing Tank, that'll probably take you apart instantly. Or maybe not, but the impact of either the slapping or the landing might.
am i in real life
So was the Volksmarine really the only commie naval presence here? The Russians couldn't be bothered to send the Baltic Fleet or the Red Banner Northern Fleet to say hi?
That's because anime version of schwarzesmarken is shit
What's weird is that without the rather iconic fin design, those Phoenixes look more like Harpoon missiles if anything.
Oh and yeah the cluster bomb thing is still derp but Tomcats gonna Tomcat. It's too difficult to alternate history them into using Mavericks but giving later TSFs access to ATACMS is totally OK!
Tomcats and Tornadoes showed up this week but they're still not displayed on the official site.
I wonder why that is? They don't do anything after Neptune do they?
Kill it ! Kill it ! Before it's too late.
>new episode is back to things being good
>FUCK YEAH TORNADOS
It's a pity everyone's being so salty about it, non-fans don't get the setting (and worse, complain that it's too slow), while established fans hate it for diverging from the source material and rushing things too fast. As a Muv Luv anime it's doing a good job.
>Marei is actually named after one of the Germans that helped with Schwarzesmarken
I'm not sure I'd call seasonal LN shitters "fans". Notice how they all disappeared when they realized they could shitpost on /a/. Would have been nice if they'd fucked off before spamming spoilers to death.
Even if you've only seen TE, SM should at least either seem like a nice companion piece or a step up. At the very least it feels like one of the better new /m/ series we've seen for a while.
>seasonal LN shitters
I really don't get those people. They must spend so much time trawling through nip summaries just to make a couple of stupid spoiler posts like they've made some massive accomplishment.
To live is to suffer.
It's definitely turning out way better than it has any business being.
I was expecting it to be shit, and for a while I was disappointed that it wasn't even kitschy like TE was in all of its QUALITY, but 2nd episode onward SM has been doing quite decent by my incredibly picky standards.
Yeah, so? Everyone on /m/ knows he's a shitposter, but how is that in any way pertinent to this thread's current topic. He hasn't even said anything that rage inducing lately (except for his comment on Saber).
That's no coincidence. Someone fucking loves the Luv.
this seems like a really bad idea from a UI design perspective, if your squadmate can Skype you and increase the size of their videoconferencing window to occupy nearly half your field of vision at any time this would run the risk of obscuring your view unexpectedly which could be fatal
It's literally been almost half a decade since I experienced this and it still fucking bothers me.
Will I ever get over it?
>slowly rising into the air
in the VN they just launched forward from the mothership decks with rocket acceleration though?
Serious question here, what do the Intruders need to be bipedal for? They can't boost jump, seems like it would be easier to just give them treads and turn them into a Guntank homage.
That was Theo, and it was because she was flirting/messing with him over the video feed. It's the unexpectedness of it all, combined with the fact that he can't decide if he likes it or hates it (especially the "Good luck" sign off that she gives at the end) that trips him up.
goddamn just watched the last episode
fuck Gretel, seriously, how stupid you can be with the political doctrine?
being assblasted by how the other guys wiped the BETA using more useful tactics and tech was retarded
Yknow, the usual recurring theme.
I do recall the coup arc in Alt having similar hamfisted writing on the subject. Everyone being so up their own ass in their own beliefs and all.
I went into this expecting it to be edgy as hell, but it's actually really enjoyable for me, even if the pacing is a bit fast. It's the show I enjoy watching the most this season really.
Also as my first experience with the franchise it's made me want to play the VN when it gets released here, so mission accomplished I guess.
There better be kits.
All the early generation TSF's look so much better than the arr rook same spindly 5th gens.
>That's the joke
Look at a graph of 5th gen fighters, anon.
Also, for TSF, those are 3rd Gen, not 5th, the TSF chart starts with the F-4 as their 1st Gen
BUT THEY ALREADY ARE CUTE GIRLS
... god damn Stasi ruined her.
wish i could protect that best imouto's smile ;_;
>English translation of the Schwarzesmarken Visual Novel Demo
>creating brand new content in time for our targeted September release is tricky.
Sounds like they don't want to extend their work schedule past September. Maybe they have other projects planned for after that date.
Do you even get how much work Degica has in their hands currently? Muv-Luv is not their only priority, they need to work on other shit as well. They just recently launched Dariusburst CS and will be re-publishing Sayonara Umihara Kawase on Steam too. The Muv-Luv team is small enough that they're most likely end up employing KNG at some point.
How many hours does the VN last?
Does Iris overtake Yui?
Or does Yui still hold the top spot of "Most-Likely-To-Be-Waifu" in muv luv?
Well, that's cool for Teito Moyu, that's most probably the best ( Or at least interesting ) part of TE.
Good for SM too, even if we will only have the demo yet, I have hope we will get the full VN, and maybe even the LN translated one day.
Would have liked the Chronicles or TSFiA as well but guess it will take another KS surplus.
Most of the content is already in the Photon-games.
Well, I've read a little of the LN.
I usually pop in here to talk about TSFs, politics, or tactics, and hop over on /a/ to discuss characters and the like. Since it's usually the characters the anime messes up, it's usually what gets whined about. Also, /m/ is a little smarter than /a/, so they already know the score on this anime as an adaptation (I think on it's own it's actually really good, better than TE even with the obvious budget constraints). Different board culture, you know.
Second half of the episode was great had me all pumped up, haven't hand that exited shaking feeling since sadogashima about 4 years ago.
>that feel when I could have been paid to poorly machine translate Muv-Luv
Which is weird because the second half of Alternative and TE give about zero fucks about first person immersion.
I swear the main character of TE might even be a random guy standing in Soviet command rooms.
I will gladly report my parents for a chance at that poon
She calls herself unclean and talks about executing people as dirty business. Even in the VO samples, if you click on her hands, she refers to them as being drenched in blood before asking if you still want to shake/hold them.
Are you some sort of socialist sand nigger or just a retard?
>take a group that gets caught with blatant google errors every time they release literally anything
>add one actual good translator to it
>clearly this means there is more than one good translator somehow
>humans are not allowed to err
>implying the group is not making good translations
>implying they added translators to the group
>doesn't even know how they're handling the translation process
Okay, let's break down the four team members who revised the opening lines of Alternative for an English dub.
A Singaporean whose English invariably needs an editor to pass as adequate
What has she done besides Higanba?
The only competent translator here.
And let's not forget that they're all working off a base that was constructed by Ixrec, who was entirely self-taught.
Just for you faggots who don't cross-boards, here's an ebook of the frist 50 pages of BiS Volume II: http://ebcomic.com/clear/fcc/viewer/viewer.html?id=1485
Also, more BiS info from http://02memo.seesaa.net/article/433279069.html :
So Volume II recounts Jurg continuing to develop TSF tactics and maneuvers to fight the BETA. Nuclear war descends on the planet, and things get really hairy with billions dying in the ensuing chaos.
Of course, we already knew this. The big news is the introduction of Hannibal (bearded dude Marai was banging) and the big villain of the story, Heinz "Ketchup" Axmann. Not surprisingly, him and Jurgen don't exactly like each other very much. Well, if Ketchup really did spill his tomato blood on Jurg, that would explain why he's a close second on Beato's hate list.
>awesome news to everyone who backed the Kickstarter...
>It's going to be an English translation of the Schwarzesmarken Visual Novel Demo!
So when are they going to ask for more money?, my wallet has recoved.
I don't know. They seem to be too well-mannered to reopen the KS for more dosh.
At this point I think your best bet is to pray hard enough to go back to the 22nd of October and restart life from there, really.
i need to sell more drugs for the next kickstarter.
Good morning /m/en! I've expanded the partial OST for y'all to enjoy.
Not all of the recordings are perfect so keep that in mind, also the titles are just made up on the spot.
I've included everyones favourite track "Laserjagd" which is the one playing in the Tower Defense game.
Man, I'm curious, for any Germanbros around, do you have a lot of English slogans and stuff pasted on magazines and ads in your country? It's common to see English phrases in Japanese billboards and stuff, so I'm wondering if it's the same in Germany.
I don't fucking get it
Is the joke that it's not a good joke?
Isn't the easiest way to spot a Stasi informant to just see who has a healthy body (i.e. and therefore has a sustained fund of rations?)
when i mean Lise, i don't mean Stasi included.
It's ok /m/an, everything will be alright now. I will download your OST, don't worry. That's nice of you. Thanks.
Do you want to go out and eat something ? Surely nothing can go wrong if I'm seen with another /m/an.
My favourite track is Oder-Neisse Line though, but Laserjagd is really entertaining too
Cousins marrying doesn't create abominations unless it happens generation after generation (hilariously the case among mudslimes). And besides, vast majority of the world allows marriage between even first cousins.
>Surely nothing can go wrong if I'm seen with another /m/an.
>fapping to a literal hybrid of Irisdina and Beatrix
Why does a massive faggot like Theo have such great taste in women?
If the cartels get large, powerful and ubiquitous enough I imagine it wouldn't take too much for them to adequately "influence" their national governments to play along with them. Heck, they already run Mexico in real life!
Aside from formal titles and loan words? Probably not; a fair lot of them already speak English, so I imagine that probably diminishes the trendiness of English use. If anything that mag is probably a western publication someone smuggled in for sale on the sly.
It's a stereotype joke, you're not supposed to take it seriously.
I seem to recall having read somewhere that they're actually siblings in law.
Oh shit, fucking brain farts. My bad. I meant the B-1B.
The B-52 is still trucking in ML, though. B-2, however, hasn't shown up yet.
Then again with the stealth-oriented development of US tech it's probably just around the 2002 corner.
is this the same team that fucked up that 6 minutes line and tried to claim it was because the translator wasn't a native english speaker? I haven't read any mub rub stuff that was "translated" since altered fable because vntls posters kept saying it was machine tl. I seriously hope this isn't what I donated $350 for.
I'm pretty sure you're right, it's coincidence that they resemble old Red Army helmets (but it's hard to imagine that didn't influence their selection). Hence, 'Soviet-style'.
West Germany also used a variety of helmet (aside from the iconic 'stalhelm') used in the Wehrmacht, I think from the airborne troops, but I'm not certain.
Well, there's a reason more than half the pilots have huge tits: so those insane plug suits have something to showcase.
Didn't know BUFF was still kicking, I thought she'd be a no-go due to being a high-volume payload lardass of a bomber. B-1B has the advantage of getting in and out super fast and whatnot.
A quick reminder that Mr.Kouki's wilderide is due next month.
They did the same thing with Unlimited/Alternative. Alternative was supposed to just be the Sumika route for Unlimited, but then they decided to jam it full of extra stuff to justify selling it as another game.
