Official J final attacks ranking:
Granteed D: Melua > Katia > Tenia
Bellzelute B: Tenia > Melua > Katia
Coustwell B: Katia > Tenia > Melua
Raftclans: Tenia > Melua > Katia
>I bet you call Arriere, Ariel.
Not this shit again.
It's similar to Viltraubteer / Viltraubtia, but that German R is tricky.
The katakana for Wildraubtier is ビルトラプター (Birutoraputaa). The "biruto" part fits "wild" well enough, but the "raputaa" part doesn't really sound like "raubtier," all that much.
Considering that "raputaa" is straight-up "raptor" in English, I wonder if that was their intention. Raubtier is German for predator or beast of prey, while raptor is specifically a bird of prey (which fits the unit's motif more closely). Still, every official source has always called it Wildraubtier.
Raubvögel is German for bird of prey, but I've actually never seen that in katakana before.
So, I just got Sleigh in 2nd OG, and noticed that she can be put in other units (not that you would really want to from a gameplay perspective, since Hyperion is really good).
Does she have some fun lines in other units, or is it a waste of time? I'm planning on throwing her into some of the supers, at least.
There's no valid reason why Banpresto would have to cut corners for OG games. They are their heavy hitter series and the one that gets a lot of development time in, it is just plain bullshit that they ommit content due shit excuses like lacking time, forgetting that certain characters were supposed to be there and etc. And the voices thing is bullshit because it can't be as expensive as having to pay for 15+ anime licenses, pay for their music licenses as well in the case of some series AND then still do the whole voices deal.
it's missing the guns on the shoulder as attacks. The Fairies also have HF blades. The pod also has a solid vulcan
I really hate that thing. I expected it to have a mode change and transform into a more useful machine, but it was stuck as a grunt-tier one, and we didn't even get back the other frames. 2nd OG really hated R fans
I knew I wasn't the only one that thought that. They work more like Gundam Fighters in practice though - head Vulcans, a chain attack, and two Melee moves.
>those are so... generic-looking.
I love the Amaja's random ALL THE CIRCLES BEAM CANNON though. And the Scouts, if only because I'm fairly certain that the "Minovsky Triangle" is still the most crazy bullshit thing I've heard done with Minovsky Particles.
So replay them for EXP, you can probably rank yourself up after 3~4 playthroughs of them. And this with the 2x effective regen, too.
But I did, anon. Now I'm forced to post second-best Puru.
Alles Geist runs on a Einst Regisseur core.
Did the Choujikin react to it in 2ndOGs?
They took it to a whole new level!!
Z2, Z3, and 2ndOG have the most run counts for me. Of those I'd say 2ndOG is the most fun. OGs isn't too bad for replayability either just because it's so long that you're not seeing the same stages too often if you play 1-->2-->2.5 and then loop back around to 1.
Totally not related to the Virgola AT ALL. There's no way Z stuff will pop up in OG!!
Hakai-hen was fucking great earlygame, it felt fun and fresh and really cool
...and then the Z1 guys started coming in and the stages suddenly felt like a complete drag.
Saisei just didn't feel as good after that, could barely even get myself to finish it, never even replayed it.
What went wrong?
I dunno what is more replayable, but the one I played the most was Jigoku, with a total of four completed runs. Second runner would be Z with three runs and in third place would be pretty much everything else as I usually give SRW games two runs to get as many routes completed and because I enjoy curbstomping the game with full upgraded units from the beginning
>a gun with a jackknife on it
>"Must be Virgola!"
You're telling me they actually downgrade the Canis, which can already fly and has three levels of super mode, into the Virgola, a crap-tier standard grunt until Setsuko gets all the parts from the other units crammed onto hers?
>Limited production units get a worse MP version made of them
Gee where have I heard that before
Z will never fucking work in OG. Maybe as units-only post series after Z3, but it's incredibly unfeasible for them to do the plot.
It deals with all these different fucking dimensions but when you're working with the OG universe, what do you really have to pull out from? Shadow Mirror? Endless Frontier? They'd have to come up with so much shit to integrate the dimensional fuckery into the story.
Besides, Terada himself already fucking said that Z was not meant for OG, nor was it designed with it in mind, so fuck off. OG will probably end after they do @3 anyways, there's no way they can top that and by that point you roster would be completely oversaturated and bloated.
Plus when the knife pops out during Egretta's finisher, he yells "CARVER ACTIVE"
>what do you really have to pull out from? Shadow Mirror? Endless Frontier?
And K. And L. And whatever else they want to add.
>Terada himself already fucking said that Z was not meant for OG
No, he only said it wasn't designed with OG in mind, like every SRW before @2 was since OG didn't exist yet. Take your fanfiction back to Gamefaqs.
There's too many characters when the Z1 guys are added, and they don't really contribute anything to the plot. The roster ends up bloated.
But of course when a bunch of shows get taken out or compressed people cry about Sumeragi. Basically the SRW fandom is a bunch of unpleasable shitposters.
And why would you need to do that at all? The other nintendo handheld games can work completely fine in the current OG dimension - there's nothing stopping them from benig there.
The only deal is that you'll have to wait one OG game per handheld debut so it'll just take a long time before we get to K and beyond.
Just think of Rand's world for example, how the fuck are you gonna do his part of the story with no Xabungle, Gundam X, Turn A guys around?
Alpha 3 isn't the end all for OG, Scramble commander 2 is. Just when they thought the saved the world from the greatest menace ever, this absolute madman comes and destroys the OG multiverse, and the OG team asspulls something to restore the universe by gathering fragments of the shattered multiple universes, giving birth to a new Og continuity focused in Z.
I have the most clears on UX, @3, and K, but in K's case it's because I lost power for 6 days during the hurricane in August 2011 and my DS had more battery life than my PSP.
On Z1, Z2.2, both Z3s, 2nd OGs, @2, MX, and OGG, I'm on my 7th/8th playthrough. I've done OG1 and 2 in OGs at least 4 times apiece but I haven't cleared Ex-Hard (which I'm not looking forward to) or Special. Never even played OG2.5, because from what JP wikis tell me you don't even need to bother with it to unlock 15-bar Special. I think I've beaten J 5 times, too. I know I've done Calvina and Touya at least once each in English and then I had some clears built up pre-English version.
I am really, really, REALLY into the macrogame in SRW.
>Worse stats all around
It has exactly the same stats. The MP MK II's downfall is the lack of weapons, and that could be easily changed by enacting a plan to upgrade the MP MK II's into Kai versions, just like they did with the shitty MP gespensts
It doesn't really matter when you introduce them if at the end of Tengoku you've got about ninety playable units and forty deployment slots. If the full Z1 cast was in that number would raise to well over a hundred and twenty, maybe even higher, so even three-man squads would mean you'd be deploying less than half your playable units. It's a long-running series, shit gets cut.
No as in "comes with the package".
MP has hard points for loading everything on depends on the situation.
Just in case if you don't know it can also do external power source like ExBein.
Not all pilot can deal with bunshin so it isn't that important.
I don't see how not having enough deployment slots for all your units is suddenly such a huge no-no. Just look at OGG or Z2.
Hell most games barely give you enough room to deploy every MC. Games like 2ndOG where you can deploy 90% of the cast on the final stage are an anomaly, not the rule.
MP Huckebeins have the exact same performance as the Mark II sans the G-Field and weapons. Their problem is A: that they're based off the Mark II, which sucks, and B: they don't have any built-in weapons and equippable weapons are only worth your time in OG1.
>what do you really have to pull out from?
On top of what everyone else has said, there's also Neo's plot ripe for the picking.
>I don't see how not having enough deployment slots for all your units is suddenly such a huge no-no.
It has ALWAYS been a huge no-no, it's annoying when they keep doing it. That's part of Z2's problem.
I like not having enough deployment slots because it makes me feel like
a unique speshul snowflake who CHOSE to use so and so units over the others, feeling happy knowing that nobody else has chosen the same combination of units as I did
Z2 is worse than most since you literally don't even have enough room for every MC, but besides @2 and maybe @3 you've never been able to deploy EVERYONE for the final stage. Even Z1 doesn't give you enough space to make every MC a squad leader.
Yes. Alpha had shows disappear between games with no explanation, which people complained about. Z3 cut a bunch of shows, so instead of just having them disappear it put in some lines from Sumeragi about how they're off fighting on another front so that they'd acknowledge the continuity. Instead of being happy about the reference, half of /srwg/ flipped out and declared Sumeragi the devil.
Part of the replayability comes from being able to change up your team in each NG+. Being able to bring along most if not all of the cast means that your final team always looks the same.
It also encourages J Tier reinforcement spam since there now needs to be enough enemies to ensure that everyone gets their fair share of EXP/PP/Will.
Also Z2 had more problems than not being able to deploy most of the cast. Such as them bringing along every Z1 series to eat up the roster and stage count when the newer series could have gotten something better.
>off all the shows they had to cut to @3, it had to be Brain Powerd and Crossbone
it fucking sucks being the only Brain Powerd fan on the board, WHERE THE FUCK IS MY NELLY BRAIN PLAMO / DAMASHII?
Acknowledged or not, if you can't see why people don't like having series they like cut while stuff like Gargantia and Eva 3.33 gets shoehorned in with almost no relevance to the overall plot, you've got issues.
As far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as a bloated cast because I'm an optionsfag.
>Part of the replayability comes from being able to change up your team in each NG+. the same.
I don't mind not having space for EVERYONE, but when like 3/4 of your cast is undeployable, you have a fucking problem.
>Part of the replayability comes from being able to change up your team in each NG+.
Which only works in modern SRW because everything works. But with that said, in AP, there are quite a few people you can't deploy each run. Are you going to tell me that you'd constantly switch up what you're deploying on NG+, or is it going to be staples + one or two extras?
Ideal final deploy to cast ratio, in my opinion, is between 1:1.5 (or 2:3) and 1:2. That doesn't require too many NG+s to use everyone assuming certain people are used in every game, but it also doesn't make each run feel samey.
Canis Al Tarf, the one that can fly, is a heavily modified unit customized for an ace.
The purpose of the Canis line is mass producing and it's main feature is its 'flexible frame' and 'multi purpose' gun that can fire live rounds, energy weapons and is equipped with a bayonet. Said weapon is called Gunnery.
Completely unrelated to the Virgola that's described exactly the same!
And to end the HURR DURR BALMAR IS DONE FOR meme, Mekiboss said at the end of 2nd OG that they have no idea where the Balmar planet is at and that they only met their automated scout units and a Neviim performing the same kind of task than the one at Earth.
It's not just that, shows that stayed also got fucked over. Look at Gundam X (one unit, Paula's an attack), Turn A (again, one unit), Seed (2 units, Lunamaria, Rey, and Athrun were attacks, which sucked since Seed choreography didn't look like shit in Z3), etc...
>OG just got called endless conflict in its latest PV.
>It's not going to end.
YES! I MAY DIE BY MY IDEALS LIVE ON
Probably. I wish there was an easier way to check. (I mean, I could pretty easily check the unit list, I suppose, but I've far from been able to memorize what one kanji refers to which extra attack feature, so that wouldn't help me much.)
I just want to say I don't think I'm qualified to talk about cast size in SRW because when I play these games, I'm in it for a much longer haul than the rest of you. 6 playthroughs minimum, and if I really like the game it goes into double digits.
Yes, I'm >>13791419. In addition, I'm on my 5th playthrough of BX that's been stalled-out for ages due to being distracted by other shit.
So if he was to cameo in MD, or for his debut, where would Mist be hiding out on Earth? In K he was making a living helping out at the Godannar base, right?
I still think it'd be fun if they broke their usual rules and patterns everyone wants them to stick to, and W and K got at least an early showing, even if it had nothing to do with their plots yet.
>I still think it'd be fun if they broke their usual rules and patterns everyone wants them to stick to, and W and K got at least an early showing, even if it had nothing to do with their plots yet.
Touma got an early showing in OGG, does that count?
I agree that OG as it is now cannot work its way to Z, word of god aside.
once @3 is done I think they could reboot it to make it possible to get Z content (and maybe make it less of a dissapointment)
>able to use it for like a few stages in Alpha Gaiden, but never get to use it again
>able to use it in 2ndOGs, but doesn't come back when the other MK guys come back
>gets a new pilot and an actual finisher in PoJ
>only for it to lose both and become one of the worst units in the game again
>will probably not even make it into a future OG game anymore
Why is Jaohm so suffering?
I'm honestly hoping, and expecting, some type of advance cameo. I mean, heck, Cobray got a cameo in OGs and several games later nothing else has been seen of it.
There's really not much stopping them from make advance cameos no matter how far ahead the character's actual playable debut is. Mist could be working as an assistant to the Great Battle doctor, while L's protagonist and Hibiki both go to Touya's school (BX too, but that probably wouldn't happen since I imagine BX and MD were in development simultaneously), while somewhere in MD, news reports flow in about X villain forces have destroyed a place called Limonessia (or whatever you want to call Shioni's place).
As I recall, I don't think so, this picture that I haven't checked before uploading might confirm that.
There's apparently data for a combination attack between Dancouga and Gandor, Formation D or something like that, but like a number of things that's in SRC Dungeon's data, it's Dummied Out and inaccessible for one reason or another.
(Put in Celeblader(?), man, I need my Triple Drive.)
Why are people still going on about the Space Milvus and Akashic Record thing like those were real things?
Ah, I see that they are in the same group there in that pic. Well, I'll have to re-check to make sure, though I'm fairly certain Dankuukougaken still existed without Gandor on the team.
Something that initially gave me a lot of trouble trying to title its screen.
(Kannazuki no Miko or something like that I think is the source material. Something that is in the SRW NOVA fangame I was playing, and involves betrayal fueled by Yandere yuri lust.)
Oh no, it's a great song in general. It's just... you know, it's like the only memorable thing on the OST.
I'd like to say UX handled it better, at least. It had more time for the plots to develop.
Well, SRC Dungeon is known for using things that stretch the definition of what you could consider "mecha," after all. Even more so than Tekkaman Blade's inclusion or whatever else stretches the definition that's been in the series.
If I'm looking at things right, I realized what her alternate mode is in the game. I haven't tested it, but it's probably the same as Shinji's EVA being less than pleased if you let it get shot down.
>playing UX, just got back from Byston Well routesplit
>SUDDENLY ALL MY FAFNER UNITS ARE GONE AND I CANT ASSIGN THEM INTO PARTNER UNITS
>i can only see them as head icons on the bottom screen in the main intermission menu along with Luna's Gunner Zaku for some reason
what the fuck is going on?
Sounds like they're not being used in any squads, at the moment. Try putting them back in on the squad formation menu. I forgot how to do that, but it's not too hard to figure out.
Complete with the usual eyes that complement merciless killing and blood(oil) splatter so well, too!
The only one available is Michio's weird blue one I got with Kanon's red thing, but only him.
I just opened up the next stage and it's Shinn and Luna forced deployed in Impulse and Destiny, along with a fuckload of Festum.
It makes you wonder just how many lonely otaku relate to his pain.
Honestly, that department can only go too silly if they decide to include things like the worker mech from Future Boy Conan.
>Honestly, that department can only go too silly if they decide to include things like the worker mech from Future Boy Conan.
I'm not complaining, honestly. I want there to be a new update soon that ads another two dozen series or so, I legitimately feel that SRC Dungeon should keep going and include everything that could conceivably be mecha-ish made by the creator or the community.
It's unbalanced and insane, sure, but that's honestly what I like about it, it's quaint and some things are worth a laugh. Like when the infamy of your terrible game dictates your stats.
And for the one or two people interested, here's a fuller explanation of his abilities.
Kurojishi upgrades to Tobikage directly, and there's the Elshank. That's it, no combinations or anything (though I believe there's, as before, Dummied Out data for that stuff).
I don't it'd be too hard for him to add, either, he could do what UX did and put Damien in the Kurojishi afterwards, since a recent-ish update showed he can do that, what with giving Marvel the Dunbine and Luna the Impulse.
The thing I love most of Ultra Magnus it's his 0 SP SELF-DESTRUCT.
She died in the first episode of the TV series, remember? And then they scrapped the Zwei to repair the Elf after Kazuki wrecked it in his first fight. That's why the Elf changed to a darker blue color after that episode.
>She died in the first episode of the TV series, remember?
I do not remember that. That's horrible.
>And then they scrapped the Zwei to repair the Elf after Kazuki wrecked it in his first fight. That's why the Elf changed to a darker blue color after that episode.
Oh. Here I was wondering why they were talking about sending the EF the Zechs when the Zwei exists.
...though they still had the Ein they could have sent, so I don't even fucking know.
Any of you guys play rhythm games?
Trying to run IIDX on my computer but for every error I solve a new one appears. Now that the game's finally running and configured for my keyboard the game freezes when I select a song.
I think I need to install some video codecs or something like that.
>having to decide who to give my current Air Terrain S units
This is fucking suffering
>Red Tobikage mech with Liu Bei
>R-Daigun with Cao Cao
>Deceive with Heroman
>OG Plane Girl with Arnie
And that's apparently it. I had to let go of giving Demonbane since apparently he gets flight later on anyways, but the rest though is fucking suffering especially with all these hilly ass water land maps I've been having the past few stages.
As cool as the PU system is this is fucking dumb, they should give parts back at least
That too, yeah.
Who knows what the priority really is, given the last series update involved getting Shin Mazinger and Mazinkaiser alongside stuff like Ganger, Daimidaler, Idolmaster, Gundam UC...I don't know if there's even a priority.
I don't even know if there's going to be unit/series updates, apparently still nobody has told the guy you can't get the final VOTOMs/GaoGaiGar mecha yet, so even that bug hasn't been addressed.
>I do not remember that. That's horrible.
It was a scene that lasted less than half a minute in the first episode. I'm not surprised you don't remember.
UX universe has weirder shit.
He gets a bit better after going RODIMUS, yeah. Though having a 1-3 P move is pretty nice given the way the game is set up. Plus I think his transformed mode has a 2-5 stronger move.
>he benches main character units
You have literally NO EXCUSE for doing this
It probably won't help if Kazuma notices every love interest in OG, too.
>Ryusei, you have girls pining for you and you do nothing about it??
>yeah, I guess
>Touya has a harem, too?
>even that Mist guy!?
>and Kyosuke and Excellen are an item?
>what about Youta and Yuki!?
>I hate you all
Well, I suppose that's fair. Not sure if they'd they'd go far enough to go after foreign stuff, though.
Yes, that's right. Though it's probably a good idea to go back at some point and rewatch the series with RoL > TV > HaE > Exodus. The RoL > TV order, in particular, brings up a lot of interesting things that you might miss your first time through the series.
>Give X character 100 kills by the end of this stage
>have to do this every playthrough if I want the secret
surely there's a better way of doing this than casting +30% and sending him solo without a PU into a huge wave of mooks right?
The secret Fafner units aren't really anything special. I made sure to get them on my first run by general principle, but their stats are fairly unremarkable. Shouko and Michio are nice if you're planning to abuse the Crossing System, and Shouko has some nice spirits, but that's about it.
Is this UX? Because UX keeps secrets between playthroughs. If it's BX, the game actually uses the number on the status screen and not "kills made" for secrets.
If it's UX, you can always grind kills for secrets. But apparently doing so for any reason makes everyone in the Western fanbase auto-hostile you (except me; I'm like the one guy who you'll always be able to barter with).
Mamoru (Masked kid in the shield Fafner) is alright.
Shouko (Flying mech) is a great support unit
Michio is alright.
They do, however, pump up the Crossing System, so that's also a plus.
There's also Misao, but he's fucking worthless because they forgot to replace his attack values from when he was a boss AND they took away his MAP.
I am talking about UX, but
>Kill Count requirements are based on a character's base amount of kills (however, 999 has no effect on secrets) displayed on the status screen either in the intermission or the stage where they join. The Kill Count requirement has to be made with each playthrough, and none of the kills made are carried over; everyone's Kill Count starts at "zero" for each playthrough. For instance, Shouko requires Kazuki to have 100 kills, which means he needs to make 100 kills in that playthrough (killing the Sphinx Festum with Kazuki in the Prologue does not count) and for each playthrough where the player wants to unlock Shouko.
>But apparently doing so for any reason makes everyone in the Western fanbase auto-hostile you
Not for UX.
Common response to getting Secrets here is to grind in the Shadow Over Innsmouth stage.
"Each playthrough" is a bit misleading there. You just have to pull off the kill count in the playthrough where you first unlock the secret. The kills don't carry over.
However, if you fulfill all the requirements and actually unlock the secret, that does carry over to future runs.
That just means that if you don't succeed the first run, you'll have to repeat kill-grinding the next attempts. Trust me, if you unlock the secret once in UX, you unlock it forever.
>I had to let go of giving Demonbane since apparently he gets flight later on anyways
You get the Shantak Unit on stage 42, you've got a while before that (including a ten stages long stretch where Demonbane loses any range that isn't vulcans).
Mark Sein isn't a secret, it's just the MC unit. Fafner secrets are... eh. Shouko's pretty decently strong for a flying repairbot, Mamoru requires you to choose between him and Hiroto in the Funf so it really depends on who you intend to use, Michio's meh but is like the only unit with no morale requirements whatsoever, Misao is strangely low powered and he has both Zeal and Courage but only one SP gauge to go with it.
Yes, but the FIRST note says this:
>Any secret unit/character that was acquired in one playthrough will remain acquired across all succeeding playthroughs, except for the following: (Lux, NC Bilbine, Romina's battle outfit)
That trumps all else.
Even most of the skillparts aren't that great. SP Regen is amazing, of course, but Michio and Mamoru have relatively unremarkable rewards and Shouko's is meh at best.
Really, the WAFF is the reason to go for Fafner secrets in UX.
if you're talking from a gameplay perspective it's because ammo counts were low and EN costs were high back in the old days, and beam sabers couldn't hit flyers, either, so they were pretty much your last resort. Nowadays, at least, sometimes they cause a status effect, and their base power isn't fucking terrible. In Tengoku I think they were in the mid-2000s (which puts them on par with 999 stat cap game beam rifles). So they weren't bad if you had an enemy with low HP that you wanted to finish off without using something stronger, although you still needed 10/15 upgrades for it.
Expanding on this, have the ammunition be some kind of delayed explosive type that triggers black holes or something similar. Final attack is an all-out assault involving the mecha's other weaponry, which ends with the OC grabbing the foe up close and unloading dozens of the vulcans, including a close-up of the bullets sinking into the insides before they fully trigger, and the OC jets away just before the black holes are triggered and rip the enemy apart through the insides and implosions and whatnot.
was going to use her as a Basara type buffer but she doesn't have the buffing songs yet.
and Demonbane has this weird symbol next to him, what is it?
Harute has EN regen already. If you want to pair Canaria with an EN-based sniper, try Fei-Yen, although I prefer Fei-Yen with Lockon. I think she's probably the only EN-based sniper who doesn't have regen. I am wracking my brain trying to remember if anyone with a long-range finisher needs EN regen. And I got nothing.
Make them magic.
>pilot or copilot starts reciting some kind of spell
>cut-in of glowing magic symbols inscribing themselves on the bullets or some shit
>standard REMOVING SAFETY dialogue, charging noises
>magic circles appear in front of vulcans (think something like the Falblaze animation, but at the sides of the head rather than the shoulders)
>cut to bullets hitting enemy's armor, dealing next to no damage and with almost no sense of weight to the animation
>suddenly the impact points glow and massive explosions happen inside enemy unit
Seriously though, it's probably what >>13792042 or >>13792054 said. Sentinel in 4 is also a valid choice, as is Raijin-Oh's OVA in GC but not XO, Zoids NCZ in OE, and I guess Sasuraiger maybe?
>Zerokage popping up and hitting all my fucking units for 10% HP every time I kill an enemy
Alright this is getting really old really fucking quick, am I just supposed to deal with this till everyone's dead? I already destroyed the battleship
Yoooo, that's something you don't see everyday.
Just downloaded BX, UX and SDGgen3d.
Which one should I play first? I'm not all that familiar with the series I just want an easy to play srw game on my hacked 3DS.
BX is without a doubt the easiest of the three, so, that if you want piss easy.
UX is the superior title in everything that isn't aesthetics and UI speed, so, that if you want a good experience.
I wasn't necessarily fond of G Gen. But that's just me.
Riots have special reactors that can go nuclear.
Arnie inherits the Orpheus from Richard because piloting the Orpheus fucked up Richard's innards beyond repair and is pretty much a dead man walking.
In this, Richard replaces the SKL duo's role in the SKL final and uses the Riot B's explosive engine to do this, with Arnie being the catalyst in fucking up the Riot B's engine.
I download from whatever link I'm given. Some websites in spanish give out USA versions of games. It's weird but when you install it you dont see spanish it automatically show sup as the intended game.
Guess I'll try BX first to get me back into this series. I havent played one in a long while.
I can hardly find even gameplay of Ggen. What didn't you like about it?
I'm already playing fates (hoshido route) translation. It's pretty alright, I plan to actually buy Fates (nohr) when it comes out officially.
Just needed an /m/ fix.
Oh please, that whole controversy was dumb but it's hardly anything to get up and arms about. That's just localization, changing certain things for certain audiences, that true of nearly all JP games released here. Likely the same with the Fire Emblem franchise already.
Should devs keep some dumb tanooki joke that only works with the japanese language or substitute it but keep the intention? That's how that happens. I doubt they're really "censoring" much from fates. And to your argument about not supporting censored games, they might just not come out here anymore.
Trying to get Lu Bu, mate, have to use them all.
(should point out if it isn't obvious that I'm on The Shadow Over Innsmouth making sure I have enough kills on Kazuki and the Justice Quartet. I would be focusing on Michio and Canon, but I KIIIIINDA fucked up his first requirement.)
Changing character interactions specifically to avoid controversial topics is considered appropriate localization?
Admittedly, I haven't looked too far into the whole thing, but it wouldn't be the first or the last time a company changed or removed aspects of a character or characters to make it "more palatable to the masses", or even just because they didn't like it. Though that's not a one-way issue, of course, and was even brought up in a certain manga in the form of a character who wants to become a professional translator because she discovered how much can be changed between original work and translation based on the translator's whims or because of editorial override once she started reading works in their original languages.
Put the .bin file from this into the root of your SD

Have him solo The Shadow Over Innsmouth once or twice. Then after the mooks die, have a few guys kill Dagon while running the Elshank towards the top of the map. Then kill the other twelve mooks that spawn, then let the Elshank get brutalized by the two bosses. Repeat three or four times, you'll make it.
I liked it the most out of the three LoE games I played (didn't play PoJ). It tones down the enemy damage by a LOT, but you're still more or less unable to dodge unless you get a proc on the "randomly negate attacks" skill. And the gap between good and bad characters is still huge (it's like "The Seven > People with Expert > People With One or the Other > Everyone Else" aside from a few wild cards like Lionel and people with combos in the "everyone else" list), although pretty much any party can make it to the endgame.
Was using google top find some SRW picture and somehow found this picture....
>That's just localization, changing certain things for certain audiences, that true of nearly all JP games released here
It's true that nuances, jokes, references, and so-on are often edited as to convey the initial context to the audience; however, replacing content as to avoid controversy/ on a whim after disagreeing with the content is a different and certainly egregious practice.
>I doubt they're really "censoring" much from fates
Already confirmed for replacing the "problematic" conversation.
The entire thing was people not reading the conversation in question properly.
All that really needed to be changed so it wouldn't be misinterpreted was like one sentence.
Chouginga was kinda worthless in Jigoku, but I certainly used it in Tengoku.
Just toss a Haro or any other movement enhancing part onto TTGL and move it to the center of the enemies. Really, it doesn't even need that to be a 3L monster.
>m-muh tag tension
Can I just get Z3.2 or is the first one absolutely necessary?
Also how was it?
I remember being mad at the cast list and just stopped caring about SRW completely, but I want to reconsider unless they forgot Gravion or Setsuko again or something
The Tauburns are nice. Not sure bout that SR though. Has anyone actually gotten an SSR from this?
What's weirder is that all four @1 girls have the same bust size
I dunno, I think it works well enough for Leona
I've been playing Z3 Tengoku-hen lately and I can't seem to find any english walkthroughs of the game. I'm stuck on scenario 14. All I can tell is an allied ship can't be shot down and something else can't be killed for me to not lose? The thing is, I don't see anything attacked I just lose at some point in the mission, seemingly at random? The characters in the macross quarter say something and I game over.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! btw, none of my units that could be labeled ships (like the macross quarter) have been getting hit.
Neo and OE's lack of "READY GO! King Gosaurer" as a theme and lack of Gakuenger as a finisher really, really bugs me. There are things that bug me more about those games, but those certainly bug me.
Some of that shit really interests me with Daiteioh, like the fact that the enemy robots look like combinations of robots from the old series (or variations of them, failing that).
Also goddamnit we're never getting a good look at what that battleship can do, are we.
you fucks had to find a way to make the "defend the concert" stage even worse.
>surrounded by water
>you have to wound and not kill a new type of Vajra
>Brea is a NPC set to "kill"
>fucking up can lead to unexpected Ninjas
there is a stage in UX where you have to rescue Ranka from a Vajra by wounding it (bring it below 20% HP)
Tobikage, if summoned, will outright kill it
>Brea is a NPC set to "kill"
If you are moving slow enough that he gets past the Vajra on the right side of the screen towards Ranka, I have no fucking clue what you did wrong. I mean, shit, I played defense the whole mission, and I STILL got there in time.
It also has pretty much no survivability. You have like 3 people with Mercy on that stage, you had better make use of them, because that thing is only good at dying horribly.
>At least Leona can make a sandwich right?
>I mean you can't fuck up a sandwich
I think I remember reading that Leona can make edible, even good food if she wants to, it's just that her tastes are completely eccentric compared to the average person
>It also has pretty much no survivability. You have like 3 people with Mercy on that stage, you had better make use of them, because that thing is only good at dying horribly.
I won by using Verdant's mercy + Heroman's accelerate
>chinese rice with omelette and chicken
The guy probably had to cook for him and his mum so he should be fine making it. The question is how hotblooded he will get while cooking.
"FAN FORCED OVEN! MAXIMUM LEVEL! COOOOOOOOOOOOOOKO!"
Fuck yeah ship waifu.
It's pretty hard to fuck up sandwiches, even if Ratsel's probably done everything for him before.
