>>13787272 The show? You might enjoy it more than actual PSO2 players. You might enjoy the game too, though it plays quite different to PSU (and thank fuck for that) and PS0 (the DS game). It does take a few elements from PS0, like randomly generated fields and best weapon (gunslash).
>>13788253 American servers would be shit, 4 years behind in content, some content would never make it over ever (especially the collabs) and it would be full of Americunts.
All I want is for Sega to officially implement multi-language support in the client, all while technically keeping it a Japan-onry club. As long as the servers are hosted in Japan and they're not officially targeting a foreign audience none of that copyright shit even matters and there'd be none of the drawbacks that come with a seperate 'U.S. version'.
>>13793362 i've actually been skipping through the rest of the episodes just for him i have a feeling that the show's gonna reach a "shit getting real" point where the game turns out to be real and it'll have an actual story but right now i don't feel like im missing much
>>13793425 Technically PSO2's version of CASTs aren't full robots but cyborgs. The degree of cyborgisation varies from "full body with only a biological brain inside" to "mostly human like but with some artificial parts". Kinda a cop out, I know.
We know the real reason why casts and caseals look different anyway.
>>13793652 That's not quite right. Even the female Casts that look humanish are just brains in 100% robotic bodies. Might be a brain stem in there, but there's no 'mostly human' Casts. It's just that when a Cast puts on a special costume they get a human body.
>>13786971 >you will never have arrogant blowhard of a senpai who turns out to be a cute tsundere >you will never reform your trollish fuccboi classmate with a good dicking >you will never discover your best friend is a flamboyant and possibly gay roleplayer who parties with ERPers >you will never wish to bleach your brain after finding out the cute catgirl you flirted with is actually a pretentious hipster guy who bends over for hyper-masculine construction workers >you will never wonder why there's so many yaoi overtones in a slice of life high school series >you will never let go of your worries and embrace virtual homosexuality as a carefree break from your otherwise heterosexual life because "online doesn't count"
I didn't even want to have such fun online adventures.
>>13795670 The answer to this enquery is 'photons'. >>13802035 You fool! Localisation just makes things worse, have you not learnt this lesson well from how shafted western Phantasy Star fans have always been? The game is waiting for you in it's unmolested form!
>>13804309 >Do you need a proxy and to jump through all kinds of hoops? If you live in Southeast Asia, yes. Otherwise, no. Like any MMO, you sign up at the website and download the client. There's a tweaker program that does all the patching for those who cbf. The only stumbling block for newpoofs is the Japanese captcha required at signup. Someone here or on the /vg/ thread can solve that for you if you can't into moonrunes
>http://www.bumped.org/psublog/phantasy-star-online-2-pre-open-beta-registration-guide/ I'd ignore that recommendation of Ship 2 though if I were you. Ship 4 has a smaller gaijin community and that includes less cancer. All up to you though, bruv.
