We are being told that it got handed over to become the prop for MP Huckebine Mk2.
We are also being told that unlike Gespenst many aren't sure the details of the this tunable version of Mk2, except maybe for a few from Mao Industry.
Since Mk2 series is using the G2 frame Unit 3 could be in disguise with a different shell, and is already among the player unit.
Only thing left is when they will reveal the card.
No, even better. A whole new faction that's almost exactly like the DC but named something different will appear in a place that means they really should have been brought up before but somehow have never come up. They've invented a new category of Personal Trooper that despite being pretty crap compared to the endgame stuff everyone else is fielding are somehow important and worth noticing.
Parallel development. Gestorben is more flexible in a situation where you can scavenge enemy weapons, MkIIM is loaded with all sorts of onboard equipment and will fare better against a foe like the Einst, Shura, or Ruina where scavenging mid-battle isn't possible.
>Dengeki Super Robot Spirits! Spring 2015(Masoukishin F & Dark Prison lineart pages only)
Because I can actually read most of it? And it's not my 1st time playing it anyway, just playing with Calvina in Granteed as a way to show my youth rebellion against the system.
I also wanted to check by myself how accurate the english patch is but I don't even remember most of it anyway
In the Epilogue it's mentioned the Steel Dragons will have to deal with an Inspector and a new Field Commander from the Federation as a punishment for killing the president.
Can it be new characters or people we already know about?
And that's why the GS was full of retarded and stupid. They just had new grunts and a few one of a kind units, yet they could handle just fine the ruina, the garden of baral, the guest and the steel dragons, all at the same time.
They had better quality of pilot training, the new grunts were miles above the OG1/start-of-OG2 crap the main Federation forces were fielding, and they had Euzeth backing them. If the Gaia Sabers were on your side they'd be the best support team anyone could ask for.
Hard to say. Pretty much all the assholes that we've had in charge of them before now are dead/out of commission.
I just hope they aren't stupid enough to try and get the Steel Dragons to apprehend the Kurogane
So, it's unlikely to happen, but based on some peoples' crazy hopes for him, how would you feel if Touya's story got altered a bit as well, and the scar on his mech was due to Al-Van, and the upgrade to DaiRaiOh came with an event of taking down 100 Fury grunts?
Earth Tronium pieces in OG series:
4)Huckbein Mk III L(Trombe)->stolen by Amara in 2nd OGs->current location unknown
5)Huckbein Mk III R->stolen by Amara in 2nd OGs->current location unknown
6)Exexbein(last Earth piece that was held by Shu until 2nd OGs)
Balmar Tronium piece:
1)Gallinagant(called Tronium Lev and superior and more stable than Earth Tronium, currently damaged and thus can't show its true power, tempered by Shu)
That reminds me. How many games are there where the originals use (or can use) non-original units?
Cobray used a MP Nu Gundam for a while in Alpha 3, I recall Arado and Seolla using Titans grunts early on in Alpha 2, and the real-type originals in F / FF could pilot Gundam units (not sure if they could in 4 / 4S, because I haven't played them yet).
>implying OG protagonists have ever been anything other than stock character archetypes
The most memetically popular OG in the whole franchise has a catchphrase that he says before making every attack announcing his name and his singular point of characterization. This level of depth was used to great success by nameless Earth Alliance mooks in Gundam Seed.
Think a little more Nippon Damashii.
Except you're exaggerating, Zengar has quite of development and story: his fake betrayal, his love with Sophia, his WAGA TOMO, his stuff with Kukuru, his stuff with Irui, the fact that he's one of the characters who never DESPAIR and always rally the troops, etc.
It's not because a character is stereotypical that he can't be good. As much as one sided and stereotyped OG characters are they're all well written and lovable and have each their own things.
I know I'm exaggerating. My point is that OG characters are very standard archetypes and always have been. The point of them is to be representative of those archetypes. The mechaphile, the harem lead, the cool older badass, the genki girl, the tsundere, the this and that and the other thing. When people go shitting on one particular OG for being a stock archetype, I feel the need to point out that this is the norm for the whole franchise.
Specifically, Aqua uses one for a scenario.
To be technical, the first appearance of Ziene has her in a Windam (it was a Windam, right?) and Rand has piloted Walker Machines on the map, though never playably.
Remainder that "The Inspector" didn't only designate the inspectors, so "The Moon Dwellers" won't only stand for the Fury and you can be sure they'll put in other OG with enemies related to the moon like A.C.E
J and GC have been reworked. It says so in the latest blog post.
After 2ndOG I don't understand how you guys think they'll be playing things straight. Every single plot in 2ndOG had several new plotlines and even enemy units.
>Jigoku is 30 stages of Hibiki in highschool
Banpresto will find a way
Possible Selena shenanigans
Possible RaiOh stuff
Possible early W preview-ish stuff
Possible side games nobody's played
We'll know more in the future, I'm sure. What was it people were saying about getting more information? Early next month? Maybe it'll hint at something, or just outright state some obscure character, or a set of new OG storyline to deal with.
How did all three of the PPG fit in the cockpit?
Hopefully similar to Ing at the start of 2nd OG, we get to see them in Granteed. I hope we get MK tier CGs.
So is Kai finally retiring for good
Who is the next leader of the Aggressor
So on an unrelated note.
I'm thinking of doing a new playthrough of 2nd OG to hype myself up for the new game. However, to make it interesting, I want to mix it up as much as possible and put people in nonstandard units. What are some good unconventional unit/pilot combination?
Hope Chinese magic make cool stuff like this again.
If it was possible to grab units from DP and put them in OG2nd,then I think it might work again.
>neo granzon will never be playable in OGMD or future OG
Why even live
>Possible Selena shenanigans
If she and her team receives a crywolves treatment, they will have super short 4-5 missions, ending with them getting rekt'd by an enigmatic enemy.
>Possible RaiOh stuff
Give it two missions, one to get butthurt about Al-Van wrecking his shit, and a second one where he gets Dairaioh
>Possible early W preview-ish stuff
Give it two-three missions, one to introduce them, one to introduce the genderbender clone, and another so Blessfield gets sent to the past.
>What are some good unconventional unit/pilot combination?
Katina in Alt, Ryusei in Gan-Duro, Aya in the red Raven, Rio in Grungust Type-3 with Radha as subpilot, Irm in a Gespenst with N frame, Mai in a Gespenst with the punching frame, Kusuha in the Wurger, Yuuki and Carla in the Red and Blue Gespensts, Viletta in the Ashsaber, Leona in the Schnabel.
-No W, since it isn't in the cover
-DaiRaioh is gonna need Baran Doban and it's still a relatively new unit
-Selena prequel will happen, might be in this game. Gonna need a reason for Spectra to appear
-Only interesting obscure game left is SC2 but its plot will fit Alpha 3 better. Else the robot would be on the cover like Flickerei was.
-Getviewm might appear as a Balmar project
-If K happens it will happen together with Alpha 3
-The Astranagant kit being released next month might be a hint it will appear in MD
You say that as if they won't just fucking gloss over that fact with a simple
>Been a while, Kazuma. My how you've grown
>Thanks, you too
Bam. Crisis averted. We can now set our autism to rest.
If you have a legitimate problem with this, cram everybody except for the Ardyguns into La Gias.
They shouldn't have changed his face structure
I really hope they remember Bullet has his own personal theme
But that's Precia's job, she literally can't age
> Bathing suit gets different line colors from her body and her ribbon
Why do they do that? Either maintain a uniform line color scheme or go all the way and color the lines based off of the adjacent colors for all hard lines, a half-job just makes it look weird.
They also didn't do anything with it in the later games, hell they even redesigned Fang and Rosaly.
Making Fang into Josh is ust gonna make things annoying considering they have the same VA. Don't know which is better old Rosaly or the new one.
It turns out turning an already short character into SD proportions makes their accessories stupid huge.
Sanbondo made a post showing WIP screens for Eiki and Medicine, but still no release date yet.

okay, here is Kuro's skills at of stage 16 of UX:

She knows what she is doing
>I can't remember the last time I used skill parts when it wasn't the last few stages of a SRW
Rosaly's new design is way better, yeah.
>Also I dunno why but she reminds me of Rim.
You're not the only one who thought this.
So people talk a lot about how Touma in Alpha is an alien hating genocide advocate.
And we all know how Calvina feels about the ayylmaos
Now people are suggesting Al-Van replace Baran Doban as Touma's rival
Are we working towards a Touma/Calvina holocaust OTP?
yeah in a fucking urn
DGG4 was built during OG1 along with the rest, ya dingus. Kouta's grandpa just used data from the DGG project to fix Compatible Kaiser and build G-Burnkwaran
If you want to call it anything related to the DGG series it's more like DGG5.
>not having an OG waifu
I get it about the mechs, but does that mean their music is also owned by Sunrise guys?
was used in
but awfully arranged
OGMD predictions serious business edition:
A.C.E. all games
Folka, Fernando Maysis and Alion comes back
FDX team survivors joins, and Shuras they fought appear
Endless Frontier characters and mechs coming out of Crossgate.
All the rest of Alpha 3 plot happens, they didn't already add Selena and Touma for nothing, and Euzeth didn't tease in his final attack the other Gan Eden and Dis Astranagant etc for nothing.
Cobray gets a combination attack with Ing.
To cope up, Kyosuke gets Alteisen Kaiser, Excellen gets Rein Weissritter Abend
Fairlions get upgrades.
All of W happens, timeskip only happens to W related characters because of space time dilatation Gunbuster science.
Some new OG character and mech with moon related powers.
Moon Cradle gets destroyed.
Near middle game, Asakim will make a cameo, the characters will believe he's Masaki, who will come back right after.
Similar to how the end of 2ndOG and Dark Prison confirmed Alpha 3 and J, the end of OGMD will confirm Z and K are happening next game.
>A.C.E. all games
Won't happen considering they already exist in OG, albeit in a different universe.
I mean, the rest of that likely won't happen either, but this one is one of the more egregious.
Godflash from Great Battle VI will be the final member of Roah's team
the only sensible ones left are:
-Great Battle series enemies like Dark Brain henchmen and Godflash
-SC2, plot involves mad cientist trying to destroy the multiverse. Has a hero mecha and its upgrade plus a huge final boss
-Getviewm from Real Robot Final Attack as a super grunt
>Won't happen considering they already exist in OG, albeit in a different universe.
That's just ACE R.
ACE 2 and 3 have their own shared continuity, that's separate from the rest.
The reason they won't happen just yet is because the Gunark isn't even on the cover, and they won't cover both 2 and 3 in the same game.
And then there's ACE and ACE P which also have different continuities but they're whatever so who cares.
ACE 2 is long as fuck, though, altough, IIRC that comes mostly from the other series' plots.
But if they aren't gonna get the rights to Rina Aiuchi and Hitomi Shimatani's songs if/when they get in OG, they should straight out not bother doing it.
No Glorious/Precious Place/Shinku; no buy
>A.C.E. all games
Designs belong to From Soft, so no, sorry.
>Folka, Fernando Maysis and Alion comes back
This is not OG Final, so no.
>FDX team survivors joins, and Shuras they fought appear
FDX team sure. Don't know what the survivor thing has to do with anything, since they'll just adapt the plot from scratch.
>Endless Frontier characters and mechs coming out of Crossgate.
It could happen, but don't count on it. What mechs though? Those things are literal miniatures.
>All the rest of Alpha 3 plot happens, they didn't already add Selena and Touma for nothing, and Euzeth didn't tease in his final attack the other Gan Eden and Dis Astranagant etc for nothing.
>Cobray gets a combination attack with Ing.
This is not OG Final.
Nope, this is meant to be newbie friendly, so they need to give the SRX a last game to shine. At most we may see ART-2 or 3.
>To cope up, Kyosuke gets Alteisen Kaiser, Excellen gets Rein Weissritter Abend
>Fairlions get upgrades.
>All of W happens, timeskip only happens to W related characters because of space time dilatation Gunbuster science.
No Valzacard on the cover, so no. At most we may get the first part.
>Some new OG character and mech with moon related powers.
That'd be cool, but don't count on it.
>Moon Cradle gets destroyed.
Sure, why not.
>Near middle game, Asakim will make a cameo, the characters will believe he's Masaki, who will come back right after.
Unlikely, but I could see it happening.
>Similar to how the end of 2ndOG and Dark Prison confirmed Alpha 3 and J, the end of OGMD will confirm Z and K are happening next game.
That'd be nice.
>Designs belong to From Soft, so no, sorry.
What's stopping them from being like "oh hey from we would like to purchase the license to use the designs from ace you know the game we worked together bb"
EF will never happen. Those guys have zero piloting skills and the steel dragons wouldn't create brand new mechas with G gundam esque control schemes just so they can fight like they do on foot.
I don't think they're planning an "OG final". Even if they would run out of OG plots, they would just wait 5 or 10 years for more games to come out, then make a new OG again. Don't forget it's an anniversary series.
OG will keep going as long as SRW exists.
>FDX team sure. Don't know what the survivor thing has to do with anything, since they'll just adapt the plot from scratch.
Some of the characters in the FDX manga died in a new Shura faction attack. There's multiples Shuras in the universe or something, like how Aledy and Cindy in Exceed are a different sort of Shura than Folka.
>Those things are literal miniatures.
They'll just make big versions and equip them with motion tracing like Daizengar, Valsione, etc.
Alpha 3 will happen. Banpreios, Cobray and ATX team upgrades will happen. Why would they add it's main characters, specifically shoe in Selena in Dark Prison?
Okay for W not happening because not on cover.
And that's why Z2 sucks. In any case, that's an alternate world fucked up by dimensional shenanigans, so whatever. Turning mech miniatures into big mechs because magic would be actually a lot more retarded than that.
Really? It could go:
>Crossgate in 2nd OG appeared in Exceed's world too. It's much bigger than the crossgates they used to see back when their world was fragmented, so they make big versions of their mechs and decide to cross it with them.
You can make a billion reasons. Who said it's mandatory that the steel dragons make them the mechs?
A big finale doesn't mean they can't do more OG games afterwards, call it F instead of Final if you want.
>Some of the characters in the FDX manga died in a new Shura faction attack.
Ok, but if they do the FDX plot in the OG games, they'll start from the beginning for sure.
>They'll just make big versions and equip them with motion tracing like Daizengar, Valsione, etc.
Who? How? Why would anybody ever do that?
>Alpha 3 will happen
Sure. Eventually. Not now.
Let me remind you that they added Ibis in OG2. That's 2 whole games before they did her Alpha 2 plot.
The Great Battle is a sub-series from the greater Compati Hero series. And even then, they have like, 20 games.
From the top of my mind:
- Great Battle Cyber (NES)
- SD The Great Battle (SNES) - this is GB1
- GBV (all SNES)
- Great Battle VI (PS1)
- Great Battle Pocket (GB)
- Great Battle Fullblast (PSP)
- Great Battle Gaiden (GB)
- Great Battle Gaiden II (SNES)
Those are just the ones called "Great Battle". The whole series has at least double that amount of games.
And I almost forgot: in all those games, Roa isn't playable in:
- GB I (he was an NPC)
- GB Fullblast (he doesn't appear at all)
- GB VI (ditto)
I think they made a point of Roa/Dark Brain not appearing in the newest games because they're on the OGverse. They also don't appear in Battle Dodgeball 3 - instead, the final boss is a team of Turn X, Ultraman Belial and... I sorta forgot the other guy.
Terada here, surprise enemy faction this is time Laodicea fleet.
You gonna fight the Astranagant piloted by a new Barsheem clone who gets absorbed by the Aurgemir towards the end.
The missing mechs from Alpha are in: Hermdor, Antenora and Zehirut. New grunts are from the フーム・ツェレム series mentioned in the Gallinagant manual. Spectra appears piloting a new machine and kills Selena's team.
Beowulf comes from Crossgate with a new breed of Einst. Brad and Katz from 64 follow him and they get new mechs. Alteisen upgrade happens.
Kamen Rider Black RX
- GB Fullblast:
Kamen Rider Decade, Ultraman Mebius, Freedom Gundam (initial)
Kamen Rider 1, Ultraman, Gundam (after first half)
Tenia is the first to notice Calvina's despair and lack of life enjoyment so that's why they paired them together for the start of MD.
Is it that hard to find out who the current copyright holders are? And if the copyright was never transferred, what restricts Banpresto/Bandai from gaining possession of the rights to a defunct work?
ACE2 is basically SRW 2, except with the alien invasions happening at the same time, and ACE 3 is Daisuke Namikawa being butthurt at the fact that Daisuke Namikawa exists, so he tries to destroy 2 worlds.
I vaguely remember MC's female sidekick being from another dimension, said MC's another universe counterpart being dick, Valdora/Vardola/whatever drive being activated and existing in two separated universes at the same time, and a portal IN SPACE created by said drives that connects both universes. Other universe counterpart of the hero ends up piloting freaking shin dragon and is the final boss
Einst paradise. Probably the regisser of that world succeeded replacing humanity with a new species and is chilling in space, probably attacking the Zuvorg now that the earthlings are gone
Given that Beowulf jumped into the OGverse as soon as he could, you could go with either of these:
- he fucked everything up and it's now Einst paradise
- they beat the crap out of him
Given that his mech is different from the beginning, he probably was in a few more battles and received some damage.
Alright, then. I wasn't doubting you. I was just...wondering where you got that information, considering the LoE games refuse to have a proper character database that lists VAs.
In the OG game continuity, Beowulf hasn't crossed over yet.
For all we know, he might show up in a later game. Especially since L will give them a perfect chance to bring the Shadow-Mirror world back into the spotlight.
>At most we may see ART-2 or 3.
I really doubt it. Rai and Aya can't get upgrades because then what would Ryusei pilot, and if Ryusei grabs the ART-1 what does Mai pilot? It sucks, but ART-1 is Mai's mech, not Ryusei's, and the SRX three upgrade together. If we see any sort of Rai and Aya upgrade it will be the AR-2 and 3 as a teaser for Banpreios.
That said, I think we might see a Fairlion upgrade soon. They're getting a bit long in the tooth, and they're completely original so they don't have an upgrade schedule. All that needs to happen is for Shine to get sad about their performance and throw money at any of the half-dozen robot engineers she knows.
>All that needs to happen is for Shine to get sad about their performance and throw money at any of the half-dozen robot engineers she knows.
Oh god, it's gonna be Rob and Kirk. I can feel it.
With Marion teasing them about it.
The AR-3 is supposed to be a two-seater, so the ART-3 should be a two seater if it eventually exist given than the ART series are meant to be testbeds for technology used in the AR series
I don't think the AR-3 was supposed to be a two-seater. They just lost Aya, so Mai took her place, and then when they got Aya back they didn't have anywhere else to put her but inside the AR-3. Either way they didn't intend for the Banpreios to have four pilots, it just worked out that way. If we do see some sort of upgrade for Aya I bet it'll be a one-seater.
Either way the idea of the ART series being a testbed for the AR series sure as hell hasn't worked out so far, ans that's because out of universe they needed a unit for Mai but they can't upgrade Rai and Aya without losing the mascot mech.
You mean the command that works right now with Mai in the R-Gun? T-Link Twin Contact just means Aya and Mai combining their psychic powers. Doesn't mean the designers meant for Mai to be in the AR-3.
>Super Hero Generation isn't, because the characters aren't SD.
It is actually.
Yeah but if they were going to do ANYTHING with ART-2 and 3 they probably would've at least mentioned it in 2ndOG. Did they?
>Stage not even over yet
You know what really bothered me about MX in OG2nd?
The fact that you don't really get to fight Medius Locus Form 2 and Garberus. Especially the latter which is basically a glorified event unit if you took Space in the final split.
Also: people who actually want space stages. 2nd OGs has three mandatory ones: one where you don't even have your regular team (return of LoE characters), one that's 50/50 (Irui fight), and one that's a straightforward map with no space meatballs fucking your movement stat all the way through (final stage).
They might start dropping some Cobray hints now we're getting near to actually having the factors to summon him. In which case Astranagant would be relevant again.
What if she gets bird and turtle instead of the 2 from Kurogane?
Kyosuke's route in OG1 and endgame stages, basically? And a few Space/Earth stages like moon based ones.
Speaking of which, lots of GC plot is supposed to happen in space, and this game is about the MOON, so we might see more.
The Guest could've been the Buff clan of the last game, but uncle banpresto used them too early. So I guess they will skip the whole Balmar having rivals and an overwhelming machine of ultimate power as the remaining original enemies are small fry
Why is this screen so fucking comfy, /srwg/?
It was so fucking perfect in OGs and @2/3
>all three of your favorite pilots showcased with their kill counts
>glorious full bust portraits
>nature of the game makes it so that it's very likely nobody else will have the same combination of aces as you do
>only one full bust portrait now, but it's still cool I guess
>HERE'S JUST A SHITTY FUCKING SQUARE BOX PORTRAIT
>YEA SURE WE'RE ON THE FUCKING PS3 BUT THAT SHIT DOENS'T MATTER ENJOY YOUR TINY FUCKING HANDHELD TIER SQUARE
2ndOGs was better at least, but there's still only one main portrait of the top ace. The eye cut-ins for positions 2-5 are pretty cool though.
>nature of the game makes it so that it's very likely nobody else will have the same combination of aces as you do
Using OGG for example, i'm certain that almost everyone had some combination of Folka, Kouta and one other character of choice in that lost spot.
First time I played OGG, I actually didn't upgrade Folka at all since I didn't realize what a shitwrecker he'd end up being in the last few stages. So my top aces were Kai, Kouta, and Masaki.
Stuff you want in the game, but you know won't be in it:
-M.P. Wildschwein (replaces the M.P. Hucky, but an M.P. Hucky custom is also acceptable)
-M.P. Gespenst Type S or Type S Alteisen version with either the fake stake on one arm, or plasma stakes on both arms
-A free boss type machine like Valsion custom, Valsione CF, Liege Gaios, Raftclans
-The Red Wurger brought back or at least a new experimental unit using it as a base
-Custom BGM (Z3.2 Style)
-The being able to chose if you want a specific pilot to have civilian, uniform, special uniform (bunny outfits, maind costumes, robot cosplay, samurai armor, etc...), or pilot suit (helmet on, helmet off) cut-ins.
-More secret units, (I really wish 2nd OG had more
-Secret weapons that are worth getting ( they weren't worth it last time)
-Being able to use secret units in a NG+ once you collect them all in previous runs
-Exbein frame that mimics the Ash armament
-Capture system from GC/XO
-Ganador and Strega as actual units
-ART-1 being available to more characters (or at least Ryusei, and Villeta)
-Ring being playable
never happening, but I can dream.
-A pre-order bonus that's worth getting
She's already kinda getting a signature unit in her red Exbein - same as Ryouto.
I still think that Tasuku and Leona would fit the turtle/bird motif better but Yuuki and Carla are the only of the Alpha 1 protags in need of something special.
on that point you use Raul in like 2 stages (a couple more if you take the moon cradle route instead of the earth cradle), and after that it'll be forever benched.
i'll be fun if they say that the excellences are the only thing that can deal with the Fury za warudo bullshit.
I used the Shishioh Blade on Lune because she needed something better than the dinky Divine Arm.
Equippable weapons would be so much better if you didn't have to upgrade them individually for the same price as maxing out say SRX's weapons.
Having the green one is kind of stupid, but isn't having one of the A main units special in its own?
Hell, you couldn't even say that about the Ashsaber and Vaisaga
seriously though give them canon fucking pilots already who aren't axel and lamia who already have their own speshul snowflake suits
They should just have the equipped weapon be upgraded to whatever level the mech you slap it on is upgraded to
So put 10 bars into the MP Huckie Mk II for real cheap? Congratulations it now has max damage on all equipable weapons.
All you need for the endgame of the OG2 portion of OGG is a bunch of units who can break barriers and a Great Rouse bot.
Then there's space of useful filler units like Raul who barely needs any investment to get his job as Support Attacker done.
No, they were better in older games because you couldn't just max out every single weapon on say a super for the same price as one.
S Ranks weren't so special in the older days because almost everyone had 1 or 2 by the end.
All Beginner Mode does is lock you on Touya Route with extra money/cash and fixed Normal Mode.
Its kind of like a bootleg special mode.
1 Exbein can do this.
2 Exbeins can do better than this.
Wrong. Because they were nerfed to use generic engines, one extra exbein won't make any difference. Now, if they were huckebeins MK III, adding one more would make it a truly shitwrecking combination attack of devastating consequenceas as, you know, they have tronium engines.
>"Wait, why do you have Amara on a leash?"
I can't find the song because I can't find the Dunbine OST on youtube for some reason but I think it was a segment of a different song.
I do remember it being one of the more commonly used songs in Dunbine though.
Because the Annihilation Engine is fucking terrifying, and it would probably be for the best if they didn't create more of them. Also, creating Granzon used up most of the Divine Crusaders' budget, and I'm sure a lot of that went into the engine itself.
So, what's the deal with GC Soul gunner and GC enemies not making in this game ?
They're heavily based on units from G-Breaker / Sunrise Eiyuutan. Soul Saber is not, so it's fair game.
Kinda wondering if they can use Charge the Soul of Fighters in OG, though, since it was used in other games before it was in SRWGC.
Designs based on robots from a sunrise game. I'm glad GC got in, but nothing I liked from the game is appearing in this one, and the main characters are forced to share their role in a single robot while neither of them are in full control of it.
But gunner is apparently locked to the female lead, while fighter is locked to the male lead. That goes against how I used them in the game, so it's disappointing to me. Yes I know that's the role they had in the game, but I didn't follow that since the traditional OG setup for characters got boring to me.
r8 my 3ds custom meme
it even has Fight / Envoy from Jupiter playing in the background
Is this an official reason they gave in an interview, or just our current speculation?
>Kinda wondering if they can use Charge the Soul of Fighters in OG, though, since it was used in other games
As long as they the game has custom BGM, you can use it.
>But gunner is apparently locked to the female lead, while fighter is locked to the male lead.
I'm hoping that's just what they're showing off early, and that the restriction eases later.
After all, we still haven't seen GF or FG. Or Super. Or Fairy.
I'm really hoping they don't drop GF and FG. They were my favorite forms.
It'd be about as disappointing as the lack of Excellence Gunner in OG2 and that was my favorite out of the Excellence frames.
>Complaining about casuals in SRW
The hardest part of the games is deciding which characters that you want to use because you have so many favorites.
Or trying to not fall asleep during the long drawn out endgames in some of the console games.
>in some of the console games.
The worst endgame is Saisei
Nearly everyone you're using is easily fully upgraded by then with how much money they throw at you and the game presents literally no challenge even with 25k+ HP sponge grunts being thrown at you left, right, and center.
>Or trying to not fall asleep during the long drawn out endgames
I must have the patience of a saint because this has never happened to me. I can maintain the same level of focus on SRW from start to finish.
They could give us the ART-2 for a few stages then allow other people to use it once Rai moves onto the SRX. It doesn't require any special psychic nonsense to be piloted, it should be an OG Guntank.
After Shinka there's nothing new at all and there's a filler stage in which you fight anti-spiral mooks and some heat trigger dinosaurs.
Also the final battle against the angels was boring as fuck
Both were terrible, but how terrible depends on who you ask.I managed to play Saisei 3 times, but I couldn't even finish Tengoku a second time.I found Hakai, and Jigoku more fun.
Anyway, my favorite is still Z1, and the fact that I can still replay that one constantly is kind of depressing, since the rest of the games should be as good, or better than the first, but they don't even come close.
It's a multiple heavy slash with ground-breaking effects
Meanwhile Shin KRO just have one generic slash and that's it
I'd like to point out that having one or two stages before the last one where you have every upgrade you can possibly obtain, just to let the players have a chance to use their toys, is a GOOD thing. Letting players get upgrades on the second to last stage (looking at you, Great Jaaku Satan, God Raijin-Oh Full Power, Master Therion, Brera, Mode Archonis, Zeine, Z2-1 Pearl Nail... I guess technically Holland too, but fuck him - and all of their friends.). That's distinct from last stage only reinforcements, by the way, those are totally different.
5 or so stages might be excessive, but is it any worse than Alpha 2's 4? Is it worse than GC's 6? Certainly not like Neo's... fuck, the last new unit comes like 8 stages away, but Eldoran Special is sometime in the intervening period IIRC. Even so, only one attack in the last 8 stages. And don't even get me fucking started on how long OE goes without giving you anything, the last chapter gives exactly ONE unit!
Genobreaker. It's the last join in the game. Chapter 7's only things are Chirico finally getting fucking Abnormal Survivor as an upgrade over one of his old abilities, getting the Ultrasaurus, having the Ultrasaurus unlock its MAP finisher in the Gravity Cannon (one of the rare MAP finishers I allow because it is both ludicrously powerful and because Ultra's missiles will beat it in power after its max upgraded), and... fuck, I'm fairly certain there was one other thing, but I can't quite think of what. L-Gaim Mk 2, maybe?
Those things were sexy as fuck. Let's hope we get them in this game so we can get a bird and turtle ones next game, as well as a Grungust Type-4
piloted by Mina Likering.
We still need to get the actual Turtle and Vermilion Bird first. Also, now that you mention it, Goryu's cannon would be a lot more fitted for the turtle-gust. How would they be called again?
>Ranbu and Koujaku
Were the finisher moves in J different depending on the pilot only for the Raftclanz or did the animations get altered for each final mech?
If they repeat that sort of thing for MD, which variant are you most looking forward to seeing the glorious new animation to?
They were different animations based on which powerpuff you waifu'd
Raftclans was the only one where the finisher's range/power changed as well though. The rest were the same no matter who you picked, you just got a different animation.
>And OG is moving towards more pilot locking, not less.
I want the OGs games to be the one place where I can exercise my autistic need to mess with pilot assignments since mainline SRW pretty much doesn't do it anymore except for Z3.
