I like every OG character, including Kusuha and Kyousuke, and I hope you have a good day/night.
Her legs aren't bad either, although you don't really get to see that in game
Poor Setsuko has the same problem
To the guy who was curious about Soulgain's weapon names in the previous topic:
青龍鱗 (seiryuu rin)
(Seiryuu is the Azure Dragon of the East)
玄武剛弾 (genbu goudan)
Hard Genbu Shot / Bullet
(Genbu is the Black Warrior / Tortoise of the North)
玄武金剛弾 (genbu kongoudan)
Diamond / Adamant Genbu Shot / Bullet
白虎咬 (byakko kou)
(Byakko is the White Tiger of the West)
舞朱雀 (mai suzaku)
(Suzaku is the Vermilion Bird of the South)
(Known in Chinese as Qilin, and it can also mean "giraffe" in Japanese, when not speaking about the mythical creature)
There's one thing I never understood, after watching the anime: during OG2, Lamia said that the first aliens that appeared were the Inspectors. Considering the normal events happened and they beat the Inspectors, why does Shadow Mirror ally themselves with the OG Inspectors? Don't they have enough strength to defeat them?
The whole EFA beat the Inspectors. The Shadow Mirrors are just Vindel's squad that dettached themselves from the EFA. Remember that Lamia said SM was being hunted by Beowulf (who was still part of the EFA)?
The Shadow-Mirror are a guerilla unit running the fuck away from the Einst, who are implied to have taken over the EFA. Vindel and Wendolo each plan to betray the other eventually, but Wendolo wants Vindel's weapons data and Vindel wants Wendolo's control of the Neviim.
The Gaia Sabers, unlike most Federation forces, were actually really fucking good at their jobs and basically steamrolled any other faction they fought. The Guests were only able to hold the moon because it was hard for the Gaia Sabers to get forces there, while the Ruina had the advantage of their home base being unknown (except to Euzeth, but he apparently didn't share this information) and Perfectio being indestructible.
Neo GS, a terrorist organization who still clings to the idea they are the rightful guardians of humanity. Just like Ban in Neo DC before, they have an incompetent leader super naive and completely oblivious to how corrupt and evil the rest of the remnants are and acts like he has the upper morale position.
Memes aside, does Euzeth have some sort of omniscient ability? Dude knows everything about everything and planned ahead taking into considerations factors he shouldn't know about at all.
Or maybe Euzeth existed in a continuities where he was still alive for the alpha 2, 4, MX, D, etc events and thus had the advantage of knowing how the events will play?
The implication is that there have been thousands of kalpas since Alpha, many of which look like OG. My impression was that essentially Euzeth was doing a tool-assisted speedrun where he'd try something, see if it worked, if it didn't he'd try again in the next cycle, with this being the time he got all the way to having the Adamatron.
The irony is that Euzeth could free himself from his destiny whenever he wants by just not antagonizing the Steel Dragons so they don't have any reason to kill him, but after trying thousands of times across thousands of lifetimes the thought of winning by giving up will never occur to him, and he'll continue to fight them and lose for all eternity.
The MKF/XOmega guy is going to refine her so no worry
Really? iirc in the game Alfimi doesn't loose her memories like Axel but decides to act as if she did for fun and thus not do anything that could make him remember.
And speaking of Mugen no Frontier I'm prettysure the crossagete means they'll be in OGMD. That's why they weren't in PxZ2 too, their world got sucked in OG.
Because he doesn't remember all his Void Memories at once, he recovers them in such a way that he's inclined to combat.
When we get Z - and we will, one day - I hope we get a new Euzeth who DOES decide to do the no combat option, at least in the same manner Elgan did.
>Euzeth turns out to be an Edel
I want it to happen
You know it's been a while since I played Exceed and most of my knowledge of the plot came from a slightly inaccurate translation so I'll admit I'm not the best source for it but
That sounds absolutely retarded.
I wasn't quite implying that, but it's be quite a thing if it happened.
Well, everyone thought Elgan was an idiot for how long? So the twist would be everyone THINKS it's Euzeth fucking up, but this time he was actually right.
What could Euzeth do to fuck up but save everyone in the end?
>Gets Richard to sacrifice himself in the Riot B
>Causes the death of Youta's dad
>Is the true cause of the multiversal collapse in Tengoku
Better yet! Gaia Crusaders: the combined forces of Neue DC and the Gaia Sabers, how combine their forces assume their divine destiny of protecting Earth from all exterior forces. And nobody else.
And they would still hire that orange Guarlion asshole. (Does he appear in every OG game? He kinda becoming like Beck and Yazan)
>And they would still hire that orange Guarlion asshole. (Does he appear in every OG game? He kinda becoming like Beck and Yazan)
Which one anon, Timp or Murata?
Trick question they're both dead one in La Gias and the other in 2nd OG.
>Shura units comes back
>There's a stage where Michiru challenges folka to a duel for Souko's love
>Otokojuku in a mecha VS Hokuto no Ken in a mecha
>ORAORAORA VS ATATATATATA
>They get a combination attack
He dies in the 2nd half of Masoukinshin 1
I still think we're only getting the Shuras back when we properly step into Alpha 3 territory.
The Swordian seems like the perfect replacement for the Excellion coming out of the Crossgate.
OG units that you want in the game, but you know won't be in it:
-M.P. Wildschwein (replaces the M.P. Hucky, but an M.P. Hucky custom is also acceptable)
-M.P. Gespenst Type S or Type S Alteisen version with either the fake stake on one arm, or plasma stakes on both arms
-A free boss type machine like Valsion custom, Valsione CF, Liege Gaios,
-The Red Wurger brought back or at least a new experimental unit using it as a base
So the first stage with Calvina is going to be the Hiryu-kai finding the very last DC base, which only have faceless mooks and killing everyone as a tutorial. And one of them is so desperate, gonna sortie in a SeaLion.
64 can't be used for the same reason the Reals of GC got cut.
FDX is hinted at, so they might fill FMP share of plot.
Early W would be very fitting, but no Valhawk on the cover gives little hope.
Alpha stuff... is anyone guess.
>64 can't be used for the same reason the Reals of GC got cut.
Actually nobody has a fucking clue what the status of 64 is. GC is owned by Sunrise and they've been megajews but 64 was owned by Hudson who passed the rights onto Konami who have virtually ejected everything videogame related they've ever owned.
It could very well be Bamco snapped back up the rights from Konami without looking or someone else did.
Na, you're fine. Otherwise using Romina on every stage would be a much more viable strategy because the Elshank is paper and will cause unintentional ninja attacks. (Which is odd, because it's the most armored battleship - Barriers do a lot more than they should, I guess.
>still no combination attacks for the gespenst
Jet stream attack when
I really don't understand how EF managed to make every design it touched worse, the characters are all fine but the mechs are eugh
Those are busy designs, but I wouldn't call them overdesigned. To me, overdesigned is more like this.
Yeah man, the fact that it's on a Nintendo system is totally why it looks like shit
They aren't even that busy.
People are just fucking retarded when it comes to designs.
I've accepted this fact when people bitched about Chesnaught being visually busy and overdesigned.
The rest are at best okay, but Alteisen Nacht is sexy as fuck. So much better than Riese.
People think Ryoto got an upgrade but EXbein is actually between MK II and III in power according to:
It also says they made a third unit to replace the one that got turned into Exexbein.
>So much better than Riese.
No, that's wrong.
>So much better than Riese.
I think you want to rephrase that.
>I've accepted this fact when people bitched about Chesnaught being visually busy and overdesigned.
I think Chesnaught is too fucking tall and lanky and has a pretty shitty color scheme.
how the fuck those exbeins can power up the boxer and gunner without tronium? They were as powerful as they were because they had tronium. Hell, the boxer was even considered a mini SRX.
I mean, it's an upgrade over the fucking Armorlion, which is all anyone really cares about.
Though Armorlion is proof that every other mech designer ain't got shit on Ryoto. He built that thing back in the middle of OG1 out of a Lion and whatever crap the Hagane had lying around and not only was it fucking amazing in OG1, it's stayed reasonably powerful all the way through to 2ndOG with no upgrades, no new moves, nothing. And it's built using nothing but Earth tech, no EOT. The only other unit that can boast that kind of service record is the Barrellion. Marion a shit, Ryoto a best.
>The few ranged weapons are weak peashooters.
>Can only charge in a straight line
>The stake is only good against small targets.
>Burns fuel like crazy to maintain burst acceleration.
>If it isn't charging in a straight line it has as much mobility as the giganscudo
I still think it's hilarious how they justify Exbeins.
>Changed the head and the name to continue working on it after SRX Project was frozen (Between Divine Wars and The Inspector)
>Used to test AM Gunner and AM Boxer
>Got dismantled before the Moon was raided by Mekiboss
>Put back together after Huckebeins got wrecked + hastily patched up with all the leftover parts so it turned into Ashe
>Mk X project into full motion during The Gaia Saviours.Culmination of the Huckebein line.
>Ing fucking fixes it mid mission using his brain
I wonder if they pulled two more 009 out of their asses and customized them into exbeins. Because that sounds like a lot more effort than simply building tronium-less new huckebeins.
The entire SRX project is powered by sex.
The universe wouldn't be able to handle it if the HTB Cannon had a Love bonus, so they pretend its just Friendship.
Why would you ever redesign such a minor thing from an in-universe standpoint? Whatever reason you'd give, it'd be a stupid one. Not to mention they're old units anyway, so it's for the better they got destroyed. Hopefully Ring will return with her very own new Exbein. Also, MP Exbeins, anyone? With cool fixed weaponry this time around?
Nah, Ryouto and Rio both start out in their own little mass-produced unit, whichever Huckie they were associated with prior (or whichever one hadn't already been assigned to another OG in SRC Dungeon), and then both can upgrade, her to the Gunner, him to the Boxer. Then you can merge them during a level if you like.
>>Did he also design Valguard and Virtue?
He did the Raftclans and Gu Landon's mechs so, since he is gonna do some cut-in work for them in MD (and has apparently done a lot of cut-in work for OGs back in the PS2 as well), maybe early W plot isn't so far fetched.
Ah, the joys of the G Generation Spirits of SRC games, with extra Idol flavoring.
What a motley crew I've assembled here...though I have no clue whether or not I should actually bulk up on idols to be assisting with the actual story team.
> Valguard and Virtue
Speaking of which.
If you're good with kanji, I can post a pilot list, or the pilot section that has tiny pics, otherwise it'll be a slow go of individuals. In any case, here's one.
Pilot list is fine. Looks like it might just be a general assortment of idols as there's not much of a connection between Koume and Kozue other than the K in their names and both having light hair.
Idols are gotten the same way units are: when you're not following the story (in this case these pics are all after the Gundam's first few steps), you just roll for them and let the RNG do it's thing. Only limitation is right now I can only roll for OYW Fed/Zeon mecha, and a Platinum Audition for idols, whatever that means.
So if there's a lacking connection, it stands to reason.
A Wildschwein Mk2 would be sweet. Gotta love that beam disc.
>The Rapiecage/Ouka- neesama
Is it too late to resurrect her with machine cells?
My brethren! Let's hope they deliver it.
Well yeah, I just assumed it was CG idols from the start. It's just that there are more CGs than first-gen Pokemon so it's highly unlikely they're all in and as such I was wondering if it was limited to certain idols from the series or just whoever the creator felt like including.
"Platinum Audition" is the Cinderella Girls (and now CG Starlight Stage) term for R/SR(/SSR) gacha rolls. N gacha is called "Local Audition" (though you can technically get Rs and SRs from local auditions, but doing so is very rare).
I can't seem to find any direct listing in the places where I downloaded the game, but I did find this in the pilot data file, maybe it pretty much points to what's getting used.
Also, digging in the robot data shows that besides all the G Gen-esque collections of canon and side-story stuff, the game has it's own set of original units. One that stands out from when I last skimmed was an Apsalus IV.
How long until X-Omega dies?

Holy shit, they've got 1054 Pro in there. Even for iM@S that's obscure.
But yeah, those are all iDOLM@STER production companies (plus extra/unaffiliated idols, it seems). Looks like it was released before the Cinderella Girls anime, though, as that did not previously have an associated production company but now has 361 Pro.
The last update it received, according to the place I got it from, and said update was probably bug-fixes and such, was August of last year, so there's that.
It's goofy fun to see a bunch of idol girls reenacting the Gundam story, more or less, and screwing around with units and the like. Though since my kanji isn't great and half these units are made variants by adding different kanji before or after the model name, it makes for difficulties pilot-switching the gals around. I just locked our horror aficionado from a stage against the Idol version of Char because I stuck her in something that wasn't space-worthy, I guess.
> since the Huckies were pretty useful but are now fucking dead
Not really. Excluding all the EXBein
MP Huckebein Mk2 are still around
MP Huckebein Mk3 Test Type is still on its way
>MP Huckebein Mk2 are still around
It's such a piece of shit that there was no reason to include it as a player unit.
>MP Huckebein Mk3 Test Type is still on its way
Oh, god. I do not need another B-in-Sky flyer with no natural weapons besides Vulcans.
>start playibg this out of bordem
>kind of neat
>notice the menu sounds are familiar
>realize it's all the SRW menu sounds
At least they picked something good to steal.
Western PA. I've not been hit as badly as Virginia, or so they say, but it's still pretty bad and I just had to take a very long drive from work to home in roads that had no road, only snow and ice. Like, not even salt for some fucking reason.
Dunno yet, still slogging through the basic OYW stuff. I'd never even heard of Gaia Gear until I played SRC Dungeon.
I don't think we've been hit as hard as some areas, but my home is located in some back roads, and even on what could be considered main roads, there was snow dusted over and coating it. Hell, I couldn't see the yellow lane-dividing lines by the time I got to my driveway.
The reference flies over my head, but I'm interested in learning!
Also, it probably has some decent effect to it, I'd have to look it up. At the very least, he doesn't lack for weaponry.
And on the subject of the more obscure Gundam stuff I'd never heard before playing SRC...
It's not really a reference. ECM = Electronic Countermeasures, ECCM = Electronic Counter-Countermeasures. You should be able to figure out how Minovsky particles render those pointless.
They toned down the equippable weaponry bullshit a lot in 2nd OG, so expect the Hucky MkIII M to have at least some lesser version of the graviton rifle, missile spams and if we're lucky enough a fang slasher or a chakram shooter.
Pretty much this>>13785268. The game hammers down constantly that they're a big deal along with the Black Angeloi, the Cristal Dino, and the Cristal Soldier, but in-game all are weak except for the Black Angeloi. Oh yeah, and you only fight 2 of the 4 Angels.
Over here in Washington it's just rainy. I honestly wish it was a little colder, after five years in Idaho it just doesn't feel right for January weather to be in the 50s.
What the hell did I knit all these scarves and hats for if I just need a light coat
>Hell, I couldn't even see the yellow lane-dividing lines by the time I got to my driveway
I couldn't see them the whole way home on a major route!
>it just doesn't feel right for January weather to be in the 50s.
If that's wrong, then I don't want to feel right.
When OG finally does Z's plot, why not do what Z couldn't do and foreshadow their presence, like say, in addition to introducing Setsuko, Toby, and Denzel early as test pilots of the Virgolias as Isurugi products, with their uniforms being Mitsuko's idea, have Advent be a wandering mercenary also working for Isurugi. For Doctrine, have him be probably a Zuvorg big-shot, and as for Tempti, have her be mentioned by Mio as a classmate whose nickname was "Titi".
Always nice when something maligned before is given a better outing, even if slightly, eh?
Advent, on his own, kind of works as a villain. People were hoping they'd subvert the obvious, but the explanation of what he is and how his powers work is reasonably interesting, and the idea of him basically being a villain who makes you super fucking happy is kind of neat.
Doctrine and Tempti are shit. The whole plot hinges on Doctrine being a fucking moron in just about every way possible, while Tempti does nothing but fuck around with Hibiki in a really shallow manner, especially when Advent managed to give Hibiki some psychological torture that was much more interesting in both its concept and its execution.
Sacrifi does even less. She's practically a non-character. She shows up for one scene and is really fucking sad, then goes and joins the other Angels, then gets eaten by Advent and dies.
The other problem with the Angels boils down to three words: "beyond human comprehension". Tengoku starts throwing this phrase around a lot in its endgame, I mean it's on practically every Angel unit as well as Shurouga Sin. If you use that kind of phrasing you need to show off some really freaky shit in the attacks for these things that are supposedly impossible for mere mortals to understand. Instead we got the black Angeloi, which are kind of cool the first time they show up just because the level they're at is so high that it's surprising, Space Godzilla, and HeatTrigger. None of these are particularly beyond comprehension. In fact they're much less exotic and strange and weird than the Dimensional Beasts from Z2, which actually did carry a pretty good air of "these are things that don't obey the laws of reality". Between the disappointing visuals and the overuse of the phrase until it loses all meaning, the Angels never have the kind of menace they should.
Now mind you, I actually like Z3, in spite of all its faults. But the Angels were a huge misstep and aside from Advent they're just not competently executed at all.
>tfw you've never even seen snow in your life
>tfw been having 55ºC average for the past week
Can barely have things on because 20 minutes later they're literally on fire.
I just wanted to play the Super Wars featuring Robot(s)
I lived in Western New York for the last 9 years, and now starting my 2nd semester of college on the opposite side of the country. I do not miss the snow one bit, so I can handle things overheating as a small price to pay.
Because Z2 had S1 00.
HTB Cannon with Mai lvl 3 love bonus.....
Do you have some grudge against the enemy or something?
Will we get a Valsione-style FemGrungust for Kaguya's mech?
Debtman, Dogeza, RURRRRUUSHU, VOTOMS with all the cast members such as Kallen, lots of O'Barry, Untrue Crystal, King of Bling, Hot Dawg of Destruction, Tristan Divider and some other stuff.
Sad to hear you ameribros got hit by heavy snow,
here we have around 16 C° so we're doing bretty gud, but that's a given since I live in the middle of the mediterrenean, hope you won't have many problems.
Customizable BGMs? I enjoy both the Z3's but I can't come with a lot of redeeming qualities it had.
Also. What the fuck.
I still wish we could have gotten the King of Bling on our side. He had such an amazing theme, and a really nice guy too.
>tfw you will never have your praetorian guard mecha show up for your final attack
>another OG game without kyosuke as the MC
Maybe for OG5 we'll get him and the rest of the Z cast.
Anon, stop pulling my leg, I'll have you know I just rewatched all VOTOMS, you can't fool me.
It's fucking great, best villain theme of all SRW, only Violent Four and Arrow of Destiny can compete with it.
You can bet they will do. With exceptions like the butchered Gaiden and R plots, OG expanded on the plot of other shows, so it wouldn't be unexpected if they actually bring the ommited sphere reactors.
Crystal Space Clown Godzilla did have some pretty interesting shit going on in its last attack, but the thing was so awkwardly proportioned and so poorly animated that it came off as silly rather than terrifying. The attack was a good idea, at least.
Makes for joyful anticipation of how to get to work, doesn't it? Apparently it's already covering what's been pushed off the roads once already.
EXExbein's model number is PTX-DEX
It's a Super Personal Trooper.
It's powered by a Plasma Generator, Black Hole Engine and Tronium Engine.
It's the product of the EXH Plan.
The development codes are Double EX and MK X.
It's nickname was Zechs.
It's using the sixth Tronium fragment that Shu Shirakawa had.
The plasma generator is the one it had from back when it was 009 and is turned off.
Blackhole Buster Canon (BBC) uses both the Tronium Engine and Blackhole Engine for a stronger output than the original Blackhole Canon.
Units or Daitarn's attacks? Either way, I agree, but lots of the classic robots go for the Combattler V approach from the classic SRW era: Stick in all the attacks you can remember from the machine, no matter how redundant.
Yeah, starts as Lamia, can transform into two other forms normally (I think), then you can purchase upgrades for him that lets him go into more forms to change into.
Locked to Ing for several reasons.
1. It's completely unstable (tronium engine working with the blackhole engine in tandem) and only works because of Ing's brain probl-- I mean unparalleled psychic powers.
2. During the first deployment of H, the T-LINK system malfunctioned and only reacts to Ing.
I was wondering where the fuck the 009 went.
It got upgraded into Exbein between Divine Wars (OGs Episode I) and The Inspector (OGs Episode II) to test the AM Gunner and AM Boxer when the SRW Plan was frozen by the Earth Federation due to Ingram's betrayal, so that's why it has a different name, model number and head.
Sixth unit in the Huckebein line.
Incidentally Shu did something to Galilnagant's power source in Coffin of the End but I didn't play that game.
Galilnagant is also not using either of the 2 stolen Tronium chunks. It's another one that Euzeth brought over, so there's now 7.
The stolen 2 are MIA after 2ndOG.
That must be Koyasu's fault.
Exbeins are also supposedly unable to use Full Impact Cannon and G Sword Driver because they aren't using Tronium.
There's two missing Tronium chunks... so we'll probably get them back in MD.
Small addition to the plot summaries pastebin.
These are all the OG 2nd-related stuff I could find (no Guest routes). Some character names are wrong but, overall, they're useful if you can't read moon:

Is there any way I could make the text stand out more, more readable less squishy, or change it to another color than white? I'm using Visual Boy Advance.
they will delay Alpha 3 plot until every other OG gets in so we will get the ultimate final battle
We'll probably deal with Goraikunru (ゴライクンル) from the Zuvork as well. They were introduced in DP for a reason. They are war merchants.
Exbeins can use them but their engines don't have enough output to use the finishers.
EXExbein uses Tronium and BH engine at the same time for the BBC attack.
What if they add Z3 Tag system into OG
>mfw game ruined
>More games that people actually know about
The long time fans know all about the series list up to this point where as the newer people will flock to Touya since he's the classic harem protagonist.
Not to mention that we have leftovers from DP and OG2nd to deal with.
What could those guys add? Most of them are dead, they have no exclusive villains of their own, and they use tricked out mook units whose main gimmick wouldn't work in a game unless lazypresto decides to stop being lazy and actually lets them use weapon drops depending which enemy they defeat
Fair enough. It doesn't bother me if they go with more obscure games in Moon Dwellers, I just want @3 to happen before SRW is Owari.
I'd also like Geminion Ray to get in somehow.
I'll probably end up doing that since Tyutti's kind of just floundering in the same pair as Excellen.
I kind of wish that the enemy AI would stop bumrushing Ing though. If it continues like this he'll bypass Lune and Ibis.
I always love how you fags parrot shit that has no actual proof and refuse to believe stuff that's in the game in plain sight. If you weren't EOPs you'd see it yourself.
It says Mass Production Prototype Unit 3 in that picture. The 'unit 3' they are speaking of there is the third Huckebein MK II unit that was produced. It's location is unknown.
If you don't believe me maybe you'll believe wikipedias:
>It's location is unknown.
I always thought that was odd, because weren't all three MkIIs accounted for? Bullet and Elzam had one each, and you destroy a third one on the Kyosuke route.
Does Combttler have no combos with Voltes or Daltanius?
Part of the problem is, most people unlock their third tier bonuses at about the same stage number as UX, except BX is like five or six stages shorter.
>Enjoying it a lot
>Get to the 50s
>Enjoyment level drops
>Now I probably play 1 stage every two-three weeks
I can't remember the last time I've ever played a SRW game all the way through from start to finish without breaking to play something else.
The actual gameplay time probably clocks somewhere around that mark.
Its just that I've been burnt out relating to SRW for quite sometime now after playing OGS and OGG consecutively.
Sorry if it has been asked before since I don't frequent this threads, but I recently got X-Omega and was wondering if there is any dedicated X-Omega english community/ wiki, like in some other mobages? Google gives me nothing and I didn't find anything on the /vg/ mobage threads.
I did like the first 53 stages or so in a weekend. After that I just couldn't find the time to play the rest of the game.
The funnest part of the games these days is pretty much just going over the plot via summaries because as a SRPG series, SRW's on the easier end.
I meant to say Daimos or Daltanius, sorry.
That's just more that they're not all general purpose, you spend a lot of time in BX fighting single series enemies so the +damage against faction bonuses are really nice to have.
Ah. Then no, nothing more than the standard Chodenji combos you see, they don't even give them that combo they once had in Alpha 3.
And a four-robot combo between all of them? Come now, that's as silly as putting Jeeg in Dynamic combos.
>You can blow through all of EX in 3-4 hours
>Midgame, you can probably squeeze in 5/6 stages in that time frame.
>Endgame, you're lucky if you've finished more than 2-3 stages.
