As a huge fan of IBO, I am very disappointed with the Fumitan bit. First off the snipers should have waited to take out Kudelia. They had positioning and no reason not to finish her.

The part I hated and I mean hated was Kudelia's reaction. She and Fumitan used to visit worn torn places and seen death. Hell she even held a women until she died not 10 minutes before and accepted her death quickly. Yet with Fumitan she didn't cry, scream or show any emotion. It should have been happening right then and there that her best friend died.

I NEED FUCKING GUNDAM BATTLES. Jesus christ. I am the same anon who asked recently to the board what their top 10 Gundam were and so far I watched the 0079 triology movie and now Zeta. I have seen gundam battles in space, land, water and in air. I have yet to see consistent gundam battles in the show and I am getting bummed out by this. If this show is a 1 cour season then I cannot defend this anymore. Ffs Tekkedan was barely in this at all.

I mean seriously I am the very few IBO posters who consistently praised this but I am beginning to lose my patient when I am watching other Gundams.

Put this way. I didn't see any gundam besides this one besides half of SEED (before I dropped it), (10 or so episodes of SEED Destiny before I dropped it) and both season 00.....I was enjoying myself. But then actually watching the 0073 triology and now watching Zeta...I don't know it just feels so meh. Like with 0073 and Zeta, there is constant strategy, two sides being developed, great battles that range from all kinds of terrain and characters that are motivated by different ideals. This just feels too.....simplistic? I don't know how else to describe it. It doesn't have the big scope a usual gundam series should have and thus it feels so small in the grand scheme of things.

I really think this anime would be much much better if it didn't belong to the Gundam series. There is just too much good to be compared that it gets outshined.

It's not bad writing, Kudelia is modeled after Malala Yousafzai. It's more like copy paste of real life with the exception that Malala was always competent before and after the incident that made her famous.

Even then, they got the uniforms wrong. I understand that the workers are supposed to be treated very poorly, but I find it hard to believe a futuristic, space colonising civilisation would completely forgo the use of reflector strips, something essential for Health & Safety reasons. Pic related
It is easy to believe, however, that they were just too cheap and lazy to even try making their uniforms believable by making little strips that simulate reflectors on the designs.

I mean I'm sure we're holding IBO up to a higher standard that other shows by even bitching about the uniforms of dockworkers, but for a show that was according to the production crew supposed to be more realistic and down to Earth than previous Gundams, they're doing a pretty piss poor job.

Lets try to fix these last few episodes

Merribit is the one mistaken and captured not Atra, the photo everyone has isn't great (Kudelia has not been seen on the news or anything)
Fumitan wasn't Kudelia's maid for ever but a recent plant who had grown attached (over a long time it makes less sense she would betray and then turn back seeing as Kudelia hasn't developed)
Set up this book a long time in advanced, have Kudelia read it to people/make them read it in her class
Police either don't raid the dock workers or if they do we see loses on both sides and the situation keeps escalating from there not being the start of a slow march
Have the dock worker's plans be more guerrilla warfare style because they know they can't compete with an army
Have the fighting cause a robot fight outside the colony with garma (that possibly leads into) which keeps most of Tekkadan busy while others deal with the bussiness inside
Condense this all to 2 episodes
