Gyan, Zudah, Rick Dias, Doven Wolf, Palace Athene confirmed. And also Sugita, Asumi Kana, Koshimizu Ami, and more.
He's the support engineer of our team, it seems. So his character won't probably get to pilot a Gundam. He made that Knight Gundam small robot though.
And wasn't his character on GBF Try got to "pilot" a Gundam? Dynames I think, or was it Cherudim?
Oh hey, the new MC girl is AGE's captain anus
Huh, not that I mind but I thought they will announce more recent MS. Maybe they're saving things for the next PV?
Speaking of PV, I hope they will do similar thing like what they did with Romi Park and Koyasu before for GB2, shit was hilarious.
Dynasty Warrior with lesser enemies. Has pretty decent customization though since it's its main selling point.
>Right side: R2 shoot, R1+square ex action, right stick left/right switch lock, up important target, down closeist target
IDK why the fuck they think they need to tell you what the right stick is for all the time.
As someone who loves Musou games, ALL of them are like that by design. The only DW games that weren't were the first game for PS1 (Soul Calibur wannabe), and Strikeforce for PSP (MH wannabe); both of those games are the toughest in the series.
I wish I still had a Vita. These games look pretty interesting, like a Gundam-themed lovechild of Armored Core and MH.
What's online going to be like, a necessity like the first game or will I be able to make an OP suit like the 2nd game?
I really have no need for psn+ yet especially since I only have literally ONE friend to play with and they're even more broke than me to shell out for it
That warms my heart each time I turn on the game to play again. It's really the only thing at this point that convinces me to bother playing a mission to fucking find HQ Carbon that won't drop from Africa Tower 1/2 even though that's where the resource guide says it should be farmed. Fucking liars.
I just want my goddamn Sazabi head.
I never been short of materials, with the exception of CADs. I don't think those kind of materials are stage exclusive like the CADs.
I usually farming Iffish-1 for lower tier materials, Iffish-6 for middle ones, and Hobby-15 for high ones.
Gundam TR-1/Advanced Hazel from Twitter
Reminds me of a certain Custom Robo Arena protagonist
This is the first time in three games a kitbash makes it to the cover, and even then it's only a Gundam with extra weapons to show off the hardpoint system. For a game that's all about kitbashing it's pretty weird.
New pre-order bonuses are announced. You can get a Zeta promotion card of Gundam UC Card Builder if you get the physical version, or early Zeta parts and weapon if you go digital.
Both version will get early Barbatos parts and weapon and also pic related.
>still no system powerful enough to contain a gundam game with VS gameplay, Breaker/Saga customization, G Gen diverse units, DW fuckload of units, and Battle Assault visible damage and announcer
Current systems could handle it easily. The only problem is the potential file size of such a game depending on the quality of the models and such.
Well, that and the fact that it'd pretty much be the ultimate fast action Gundam game, meaning they wouldn't be able to milk the VS series anymore.
On the other hand it'd also make for potential jewery, especially now that skylander/amiibo shit are on the rise
>oh you want more units? buy the fucking gunpla
>what's this? you want different weapons and special moves? buy the fucking cards
>want more missions? but the fucking auris
Not an issue with filesize. It's more likely because they want to keep all these different style of games separate to capitalize more, keep interest high with many releases and appeal to different audience.
>This console doesn't have enough games to make it worth a purchase.
>HOW DARE THEY MAKE GAMES FOR THIS CONSOLE!?
And as a proud Wii U owner I can tell you Nintendo's online features are worth exactly the zero dollars you pay for them and not a cent more.
I'm saying Nintendo is shit at online.
What about when you use it while piloting Nobell or GN-Archer?
And got me thinking, if we'll get Turn A's moustache to use to other unit, what other available parts are there. I remember seeing Zaku's spike. Maybe Nobell's hair, Heavyarms clown mask?
>So do the other consoles.
Wrong. Only Wii U and Xbone do. PlayStation Now doesn't count, or even come close to counting. The day I can download my digital PS3 games, and play my PS3 disks is the day PS4 has backwards compatibility. Until then it's a glorified netflix for games.
>Have to have subscription to service
>Have to pay per hour of gametime
>You can't actually buy any game
>Online required because it streams to your PS4
>Not actually on the PS4
Suuuuuuure. Maybe you want to keep paying to play games you already own, but I don't.
This is on ps4 now right?
Holy shit that looks good, I passed on 1 and 2.
Will this have every series/unit mostly now? If not what series will be in it? I know 1 and 2 still didnt have a lot. Does this series go in depth for every series it has or does it spread out?
Snice i never played are the menus hard, might buy it for my ps4. Is offline good with these games?
But you're wrong
>Do not need a subscription to play 360 games
>360 games are downloaded and directly emulated on the Xbone
>Has DLC support unlike Playstation Now
>Requires 360 disk to play, if you bought a hardcopy
>A constantly growing list of games that are backwards compatable
>Internet only required to download the game
>Byarlant Custom and TR-1
Can...can we just skip February please? I mean I knwo its the month of my birthday but it if Gets us to this closer...
Isn't this best PV or what? And looks like they're going to deliver most, if not all, of what fans wished.
>Want to play GB on PS4
>Want PvP/battle mode
>Want to take screenshot
>Need more reason to play after end-game
>Want BB Senshi
>Want option/builder parts
>Want world tournament like GBF
Actually Amuro and Char got this covered on that PV
>Amuro: "Why there's fewer new units now?"
>Char: "Let me tell you that new gunplas doesn't mean jackshit."
GB2 already revealed the free DLC units on its 2nd PV, GB3 didn't give it. Hopefully it doesn't mean we're not getting any.
Hopefully we can equip its head too.
And damn looks like some, if not all EX Act won't be exclusive to a part. Sazabi pulled God/Master's fucking Choukyuu Haoh Den'eidan.
Nope. From the credit list, new W units are only Serpent and Serpent Custom (double gattling).
Wait, did Serpent available on GB2 again?
Honestly, the GB2 trailer was funnier. Nothing beats Koyasu as Gym in terms of sheer entertainment.
Here ya go.
The full list of units from the trailer (there'll probably DLC updates like for 1 and 2, anyway).
Apparently doesn't include the SDs, or whatever >>13813155 is supposed to be. Probably a mount.
>The full list of units from the trailer
So, the new ones are:
Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt)
TR-1 Hazel High Mobility
TR-5 Gaplant Hrairoo
Crossbone X1 Skull Heart
Musha Mk II
Did I miss anything? My memory's fuzzy about FAZZ and Skull Heart. They aren't on GB 2 official site but I remember the parts are available on the game.
>Probably a mount.
Please be actual leg part
>And damn looks like some, if not all EX Act won't be exclusive to a part. Sazabi pulled God/Master's fucking Choukyuu Haoh Den'eidan.
Didnt the say that once you unlock the EX from Parts you can use them with all parts ?
>Probably a mount.
If it was a mount like the Mammoth Gundam then it wouldnt have the Blue Frame Torso and Unicorn Arms and Head
>If it was a mount like the Mammoth Gundam then it wouldnt have the Blue Frame Torso and Unicorn Arms and Head
Well it can be that the unit legs replaced by Fuunsaiki's. But that would be stupid if that's really the case, just make the unit ride Fuunsaiki normally.
Do you have anything you want to play there?
But between the two, if you really want to play this game, best option would be go for PS4. Outside Japan Vita is almost, if not already, dead anyway.
With the Vita you never know how long Sony will support it but if you want to play on the go it would be better. PS4 has many games but not so many worthwhile exclusives its only now that stuff like GB3 and other shit like Yakuza slowly starts dripping in
So that hasn't changed.
I'm just wondering if its time for me to get psn+, been starving it off with my mostly SP game collection, unless I can do what I did in gb2 and just overload a blue destiny mix mash so I can solo everything.
Which reminds me...did they add suits or did they just rotate the roster?
The blue destiny is primarily what got me to play the second
>Which reminds me...did they add suits or did they just rotate the roster?
The former. The PV outright mentioned every suits on GB2 are available on GB 3.
Ugh, don't remind me.
As much I'm happy Vita isn't included so the quality won't be as poor as Z3, a part of me died because I won't be able to play Moon Dwellers as I couldn't play 2nd OGs.
So would you say buying this one is worth it, even if you dont have live. do you need to make a japanese account for live? Or can you just play it on your normal account? its region free right?
I didnt buy 1 or 2. If it has 150-200 mechs im guessing thats a lot. hows the game play?
Also can you use MA like big zam?
>So would you say buying this one is worth it, even if you dont have live.
I would say it isn't worth the current price tag, which is around ~8000 yen, but that's an opinion.
>do you need to make a japanese account for live? Or can you just play it on your normal account?
You should be able to play online without a JP account.
>its region free right?
>I didnt buy 1 or 2. If it has 150-200 mechs im guessing thats a lot. hows the game play?
The gameplay is kinda mediocre braindead musou style slaughter.
>Also can you use MA like big zam?
>even if you dont have live
None of Us PS users have live, some have psn+ though.
> do you need to make a japanese account
Theoretically no you shouldn't need to, was using my Australian one to play the first 2 fine on my ps3 but never tried on my ps4, shouldn't be an issue for playing, could be for dlc usage.
>its region free right?
Yep, the beauty of the ps4...dunno if xbox1 has that not that those poor guys will get gundam breaker.
>If it has 150-200 mechs im guessing thats a lot
Its more when you consider you can break them apart and make your own abomination
>Also can you use MA like big zam
>hows the game play?
Think dynasty warriors, plenty of cannon fodder on screen where most of it is easily mashed away, difference being less on screen, more potential threats, gb2 added ride on vehicles but don't expect halo kinda stuff, more like a different way to A and B.
Can be a grindfest though, if you want full mileage you'll be doing more than just one of each mission, if you want your money's worth you'll get every mobile suit in every grade and make several abominations to use as you please
I bet they started development during then.
They can just do what they did for gb2 and just have them as updates, or paid dlc to be cruel
Sorry I was having a giggle, was too tempting.
In the first 2 games there was no vs mode only co-op, this time there is bounty hunter...if I worked it out correctly you upload a creation of yours online and see if people beat it, so no direct pvp.
Trust me though, you DON'T want pvp here.
>laggy connection when fighting the native players
>said natives will be ungodly monsters
>may discriminate english players via kicks, group targetting or just leaving games before they begin
>will induce paranoia when online on who you're actually fighting
This is what I gathered during my time with gundam senkei and sometimes in gb1+2, some were nice and carried me even though I was a noob compared to their godliness.
But seriously I felt pathetic, I somehow took a gm, the starter gm in gb1 and ended up in a game where all the others were using mg gunpla which I didn't know at the time was useable.
Yet they carried me, even reviving my weak ass, if the game had pvp line gundam senkai did I'd be bleeding in shark infested waters however
You don't need to have JP PSN to play online. JP PSN is only needed if you want to buy an in-game item, Luck Booster that increase your material and parts gained from a mission. Which is basically gain like 3-4x the usual reward, so it's not important, at all. You can even play with people who are have the game but in different region, as long as you know the online hangar code.
Gameplay is basically Dynasty Warrior, so if you're not fan of that type of game you won't probably enjoy it. But the customization is pretty neat even in 2, and 3 has addition equip/builder parts which so far looks very exciting. And unfortunately no, you can't use MA. Nor changing into MA mode for units that have it.
Vita had the free trial version of GB 2 on JP PSN by the way, so if you have Vita and JP PSN account you can try it while waiting for 3.
GB2 Vita graphic was pretty shitty, at least for the screenshot uploaded to GPG website.
PVP would be just super meta since for every weapon style there is an objectively best build.
I don't think there's really much tech you can use in a game as simple as Gundam Breaker where the regular beam saber has an infinite combo that can be discovered in about three minutes.
It actually makes me appreciate the late-game bosses all getting their ridiculous amounts of super armor.
Also the mounts usually replace your weapons with their own which is not the case here as you can see it ride around with the Antiship Sword a few seconds before. Maybe its a DLC Suit? Didnt Altron also show up during the PV for GB2 but was added later as a DLC suit ?
If you were looking to build your very own MS with the parts you desire in the aesthetic you want and kick ass, you will be sorely disappointed.
The gameplay isn't bad (since the translated resources at this point are fairly well documented, if something of a jumbled mess, and sometimes erroneous after the v1.12 update). It's a fuck of a lot better than Dynasty Warriors Gundam (or Dynasty Warriors in general, really), even though it's basically the same thing (gameplay has been notably improved in the sense that enemies are harder but lesser, so no drowning in weak mooks).
There's a fairly steep parts creep that heavily favors Gundams, specifically Gundam Unicorn and the game Missing Link.
To advance through story mode easier you're sort of stuck getting the most beneficial parts you can, which more or less means all gundam all the time outside of like the first five stages in which you sort of get to play around with mook MS parts because everything is still so weak that they're still relevant.
Well, if we're being honest, the Endless Waltz Serpent got a HG kit.
Did the Leo or Aries ever get a kit? Or the Virgo or Taurus?
I know they got the shitty "we can only move our shoulders and knees and sell for 400 yen" kits for the Taurus and Leo.
>I was just wondering what the gameplay was like, anon.
Well, fine. It's Dynasty Warriors with Gundam. Less mooks but stronger per mook. Shooting is actually not totally useless but close combat is invariably the way to finish everything in a reasonable span of time..
First one doesn't mean anything because we always get tons of shit that's "planning stage for 200 MS (pictured) begins now!" but the second one seems legitimate enough.
RE 1/100 isn't HG but it's better than nothing. Thanks.
HG is 1/144 and all HGs are basically compatible. Super easy to kitbash and cheap, quick and easy to build altogether.
MG is 1/100. It has an inner frame and offers a great level of detail.
RE 1/100 has no inner frame and detail is slightly less than that of an MG (basically the same, though) and focuses on more obscure designs. Basically the "wouldn't sell enough as an HG and doesn't deserve an MG" range is now open for RE 1/100 to take over as long as it's fairly obscure.
>wouldn't sell enough as an HG OR doesn't deserve an MG
Reborns, Kshatriya, Jegan, Gaia and GM Sniper II already got an HG each.
And Leo and Barzam are pretty much meme-MS in Japan, those shit would make a killing in HG.
Didn't say it WILL get one on the post, anon.
Besides, even if the finished model is shown still doesn't mean it will get one either, like pic related.
Oh and before anyone ask, no this is not the B-club resin, it was a display-only MG showcased from the same hobby show that also had HG CB Flag and GN-XIII corporate color.
I imagine a conversation at Bamco went something like this;
>Maybe we should try to revive interest in Gundam in the west? We've got a lot of games coming out, let's localize one and see how it goes.
>Yeah, maybe Gundam games will finally start selling again!
>Okay so which one should we give them?
>Hmm. We need to pick one that'll really wow them, something big to really give that Gundam interest in the west a big boost.
>Well Gundam Breaker 3 is coming out on PS4, it's full of content, it's the third game in the series so we've had time to really refine and polish the gameplay, and mech customization that even non-Gundam fans will probably be interested in, I mean everyone hated DBZ games, but look how well Xenoverse d-
>I'VE GOT IT WE'LL RELEASE THAT SHITTY EMPTY VITA GAME!
>IF THEY DON'T LIKE EXTREME VS. FORCE, THEN WE'LL KNOW FOR SURE THAT THE WEST WILL NEVER BUY GUNDAM GAMES!
>But wait what abo-
>SPEAKING OF DBZ EVERYONE LIKED XENOVERSE, SO LET'S MAKE ANOTHER SHITTY 3DS GAME!
Bamco has to be run by an Elder God. It is the only thing that would explain the weird directions the company takes to both acquire and avoid acquiring money.
The premise is about fusing characters. The initial promo image has Goku and Broly doing the fusion dance.
First they made that game trying to cash-in on Super Butoden nostalgia and teased it as having a bajillion characters, only to release it with a minuscule playable roster and a bajillion "support" characters and shit gameplay.
Now they're making some gimmicky "you can fuse every character for wacky randomness XDDD" chibi RPG instead of Xenoverse 2.
I'm not going to write Capcom off as crazy yet.
Sure they make some stupid decisions, but they're not morons. Street Fighter and Monster Hunter make them WAY more money than Mega Man ever did, people don't seem to realize how much sense it makes for them as a company to forget about MM altogether. It's sad, but that's business.
Yeah, though they had to forget nearly everything else but Resident Evil. At least most of their IPs get lip service every once in a while.
>finally make a decent DB game
>still make lousy portable versions of main console Sonic titles
Dimps absolutely cannot catch a break.
>don't blame the vita for namco making an empry game
I'm not, I'm just mad that Force is the only Gundam game to get a confirmed localization out of the several coming out soon, and knowing Bamco they'll use it to gauge Gundam interest in the west, see it sell like shit, and then proceed to never localize any Gundam games ever again, despite the fact that Breaker 3 would probably be a reasonably big hit over here, especially if they market it's customization really hard.
Yknow, the worst part would be if they actually DO localize it... a year later after everybody imported it, or they will import it after/once GB4 is announced.
I'm actually surprised they aren't doing the new thing that a few recent/upcoming games are doing, where they sell copies that are eng subbed but for JP/Asia region. They would be able to skip localization almost entirely, and by adding the option for eng subs, it would sell a lot more.
Im so glad i didn't buy vs force. Who knows? They might just do something similar to what they did with DMCDMC, where it sucked ass and people complained enough about it, and begged for dmc5 enough that theres no way they can interpret dmcdmc failing as a sign that dmc5 isn't wanted.
Of course the DMC games have been localized, its just one example i've found.

Why do I have to spoonfeed you, you fucking baby?
Not my fault that you have nothing better to do than post bait on /m/, sperg.
I'll probably remake my favourite version of the gunpla I used in GB2 but with the Thunderbolt Gundam's backpack.
(Head)RGM-89S Stark Jegan
(Body)MSA-0011[Ext] Ex-S Gundam
(Arms)RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis"
(Legs)MSA-0011[Bst] S Gundam Booster Unit Type
(Backpack)MSA-0011[Bst] S Gundam Booster Unit Type
All this obviously painted red for the 3* speed boost.
Never played one of these so I'm not sure what you can actually do, but I'll try to get as close as possible to a hybrid between this and a Dom.
PS4 control layout from Taipei game show:
D-pad: optional weapon
Square: melee A
Triangle: melee B
Circle: use option weapon
L1: switch lock on mode
L2: long press for snipe target(shoot mode) *no idea what it means
R1: raise shield
R2: range weapon A, hold for range weapon B, use shield weapon when shield is up
R1+square/triangle/circle/cross: EX move (4 EXs now)
Left stick: move, with R1: step
Right stick: switch target/camera
R3: lock to downed teammate
L3+R3: burst, press again during burst to burst move
Touchpad: radio comm
Left/Right of touchpad: pre-made chat
Touchpad up swipe: open chat window
Option: open menu
Vita version might put L1/L2 to touch screen like in GB2.
Now you need to manually pick up drops like in GB1.
All suits from GB2, including the DLC ones, will be in GB3.
Nothing so far. I'll just recreate at least 2 of my main units from GB2 and see if I can make them better both performance and visual-wise.
>L2: long press for snipe target(shoot mode) *no idea what it means
Probably for range weapons that don't have auto lock-on. So long/sniper rifle and bazooka.
And neat, 4 EXs!
>Now you need to manually pick up drops like in GB1.
Never played GB1. Drops didn't automatically picked/sucked there?
Maybe we can order the SD to pick drop for us here?
>Well, it could be worse.
Yeah, as long as we don't have to manually carved the dropped enemies' parts first to actually get it.
>Yeah, as long as we don't have to manually carved the dropped enemies' parts first to actually get it.
That'd be pretty cool, though
>pull out a giant x-acto knife and chop off the parts from the enemies
>damaged parts are melted down for plastic and other materials.
>Now you need to manually pick up drops like in GB1
Why is this still used?
Autopickups are the future
But autopickup is the best.
I can kill 1-2 Ace during the cast talks after the "mission clear" notification on low-medium level stages for more items because I don't need to gather drops manually.
Nukes. Hopefully, I can put more nukes on it.
Not to be rasicst but I did find this odd. English speaking players always name their builds, while Japanese ones for some reason keep the name GUNDAMBREAKER
Always found that odd.
Yeah, I often encounter it too though they're not always like that.
And I rarely meet gaijin hater anyway. Probably because when I finally play online with strangers, I'm the one who help the new/low-ranked player. I only play online with my IRL friends before that.
New SD, and apparently there is carryover bonus from GB 2. The bonus depends on your GB 2 progress (no further explanation on this yet), and you will also get to use your last active GB 2 unit with its parts all reset to level 1.
>The bonus depends on your GB 2 progress (no further explanation on this yet)
Cool. I wonder if it counts S-ranking a mission or just mission completion. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
>you will also get to use your last active GB 2 unit with its parts all reset to level 1.
That's better than GB2 with level 0 parts. Now to plan for my transfer unit.
Did they not fixed up the problem of useless mook parts by introducing the level up system in GB2?
>No ZZ Dreissen even though the Unicorn one is in.
>That lack of Zeta/ZZ suits in general
>No Shuffle Alliance asides from Shining/God and Dragon
>Blitz and Duel but no Buster and Aegis
>No Seravee/Seraphim and Arios, let alone Flags/Tierens/Enacts
>No 00 Movie suits asides from 00 Qant
>AGE-1 and AGE-3 don't even get their regular forms in, let alone any Genoace or Adeles
>No new BF/Try stuff, so no Mega Shiki, Crossbone Maoh, EZSR, Tryon 3, Wing Fenice, Amazing Red Warrior, Transient, or
>G-Reco and IBO only get their protag suits
I mean I know you have to save stuff for the other games but at least try to fill some of the holes from Breaker II. At least we have every Wing suit that matters barring the Leo now.
Remove FUNF from premises! Midnight Fenrir Corps is pig disgusting!
Screenshot function is now allowed on Vita. Fuck yeah!
As stated before, there is carryover bonus from GB 2. Your GB 2 last active unit will have its parts reset to lv 1, its weapon will also be carried over but won't be available during first mission, and the parts coloring will be reset to default too.
List of all the SD Gunpla you can get.
From what I can decipher, all preorders also seem to come with a Barbatos (form 3) on Gundam BON.
Seems like now when you use range weapon (or at least just beam rifle), shield will be mounted on the back instead of... disappearing or stay on the arm, I forgot what happened to it on GB 2.
PS4 looks great, by the way.
Has anyone been able to see if breaker 3 will have that horrible shield gauge for bosses that 2 had? It made melee completely impossible since enemies could not be comboed until that gauge was depleted and even then they could recharge it in the middle of a combo.
So howb much would it cost to get it? vita online is free right? should I get that or just get the ps4 version and play solo? It really doesn't seem like a big online game.
does it have a lot of needed japanese? or is it simple like most gundam games? just the stats that might need translating?
Would you say its worth buying? It has a lot of content right?
huh 63 +tax , its at least not as bad as some games that are like 80+tax.
maybe ill buy it for my ps4, I've never played one so I hope its easy to play without jap like full boost and such.
I'm getting it from the JP PSN. I lost my Western memory cards so I may as well just download all my games since it is cheaper than shipping.
The game is around $70US (a bit more for PS4, a bit less for vita). The vita multiplayer is free but the PS4 version looks a lot better. The online has other players coming in and helping you with missions. If it is anything like GB2 then the best way to get an S-rank is in multiplayer because you don't get points from anything the AI companions do. The game is 99% Japanese with some English thrown around. If you have access to the Gundam wiki (or are a living encyclopedia) then you will be able to understand all the parts and where they come from. Stats are the parts that need translating but most likely someone will make a quick translation guide with what all the stats mean.
I'd recommend buying GB2 and playing that for a while, then getting 3 and importing your unit over.
You can finish the game in solo. If you found the post-game dungeon too hard, just grind a bit.
Get it in PS4 if you can. Previously, GB2 in Vita sucked ass compared to its PS3 version.
Yeah and holy shit the ps4 version looks fucking amazing. The graphics look really good.
Well Is there really that much jap I need to know? Do you mean just menus and stats? because if so I'm sure I can figure the menus out and /m/ will surly get the stats translated.
Why would I buy a older game?
You can play online on a nonjap account right? you just need a jap account to buy dlc? Should I make one even though I'm most likely not gonna buy any dlc?
How many series will be in this? all of them? Do we not know how many units are in yet? If I feel like playing online ill just buy a month.
PlayAsia, CD Japan. Anywhere that's going for the cheapest conversion to my currency.
GB2 already has its translations out, plays mostly the same and if you don't like it then you haven't paid full price for a new game. If you do like it then you can just swap over to GB3 whenever and import your unit into the game.
yeah, I just rounded because I couldn't remember the exact value.
I've never played these games before, I'd like to ask how doing any G-Gundam style of fighting works. Could I build something like a standard Zaku & have it fight wuxia-style, or would I have to have the related arms and/or legs equipped too?
On GB2, if you don't equip meele weapon to your unit, its close range attack will be barehand. But there are 3 types of barehand style depending on the arms part.
There are normal style (most unit), martial arts (G Gundam mobile fighters, Astray Red Frame), and claw (Epyon, Beargguy, Accguy, GN-X, etc). So if you want your Zaku to go all wutang, do not equip any meele weapon and choose the part that has martial arts style.
But I think even if you use meele but equip God or Shininh Gundam, you can use God/Shining Finger since it's a EX Act (think of a super move/special attack) as long as you equip that EX act.
On GB 3 though, from the 2nd PV and interview it mention these EX Act previously exclusive to equipped parts are no longer limited, so even if you don't equip God arms, as long as you have/unlocked the EX act, you can use it on your unit. Just like Sazabi on the 2nd PV that use Choukyuu Haoh Den'eidan without God or Master body.
>also getting Battride War Genesis
Are you me? The recent PVs was entertaining, cool too hear many original cast reprise their role, especially Shigeki Hosokawa. Decade part of the latest PV is so based.
But I think I'll play GB 3 first while the hype is strong and more people still playing.
If by individual part you mean the Builder Part, then yes. There's "scale" option seen on PV.
Probably so they don't have to be redundant by making HG and MG counterpart for each parts.
>no super fumina
>no 100s of MSVs of Zaku and GM from OYW to Zeta
>no GBF stuff (except maybe BB, since all old suits are returning?)
>no Cosmo Babylonia
>no F90 series
>no Gundam Mk III-V, Penelope, or Xi for full fatty goodness
>no X grunts
>no later AoZ stuff like Woundwort or Kestrel or whatever that thing with the hood ornament is
>no Shuffle Alliance
Gundam Breaker 4 had better be fucking amazing.
>just kidding we will release a few meme suits and the mains from our most recent TV series, have fun
>"wouldn't sell enough as an HG and doesn't deserve an MG" range is now open for RE 1/100 to take over as long as it's fairly obscure.
I still don't understand how making a kit in 1/100 scale would be cheaper than making it in 1/144 scale, RE/100 still feels like a pointless line to me
nothing announced yet
You don't need PS+ to play multiplayer. You'll miss some of the fun if you only do singleplayer but the customization is by far the best when it comes to Gundam game, so if you don't mind grinding and like to *virtually* kitbash stuffs then yeah I think it's still worth it.
>You don't need PS+ to play multiplayer.
Wait, for PS4 too? Is it confirmed? Cause that's a good news then.
My lag with JP is pretty big anyway, but at least I can try to check it out.
I know that. I got confused a bit then.
Sucks then, will have to deal with singleplayer.
Cause I guess there is no point picking up GB2, when you can get GB3 soon enough. All JP players quit anyway as soon they'll see my ping in Extreme VS.
>you'll be paired up with some 'muricans if your lucky, get instakicked if paired with Japs because they hate anyone not from their turf.
I don't get that part. I've never been kicked from a game filled with Japs, or had them leave. My PSN account is my JP one but it is fairly obvious that I'm not Japanese
Ive played with tons of japs, sometimes even while using 'murika paint colors. but i never get kicked since my suit is well put together and I usually get top scores. maybe if you quit being such a pleb at the game lol
Man the PS4 really gave this a graphics boost. Do we know what it looks like on Vita?
Also, I played the first Breaker but quit after 50 or so missions since it got pretty samey/grindy (and was starting to get frustrated when picking super moves and stuff since you kind of have to know what they mean). I heard they mostly rectified that grind and shit in the sequel but are they still sort of japanese reliant?
It's not like EXVS where I can just jump in and the interface is simple. And from trailers it looks like it might only get more complicated.
I'm planning buying a ps4 for this game
does anyone know if i need PS+ membership to play coop with others on PS4?
if yes, does the account has to be from the US region or JP region?
also how will the save transferring work between a ps3 and ps4, i heard there was a bonus of some kind?
The bonus is I think some amount of GP (in-game currency) depending on how far you progressed on GB2. Then the current active unit on your GB2 data will be carried over to GB3 with all their parts and weapons reset to lv 1 and its respective original color.
You need PS+ to play online on ps4. Ive heard you can use a US account to play online but you need a JP account to buy DLC.
Ive also heard that you only need PS+ on one account on the ps4 for all accounts on the ps4 to be able to play online
After listening to the theme song for 3, it just doesn't hold up to 2. Still better than 1's theme.
NA PS+ is fine, but you won't be able to buy the luck boosters (give you more drop items). If it is like Breaker 2 then the DLC is all included in patches so you don't even need a JP PSN account at all.
New characters introduced on official site, including a fembot named Info-chan
So part of the prologue info from the official site is written here but it's an image so I can't easily MTL it. Anyone with moon knowledge want to either translate it or give a summary?
How married are you to having a handheld Mega Cannon?
For completion's sake (having an HG and an MG to make sure you have the right one to carry over if GB3 won't pull both) you're looking at 40-ish hours to get to both the HG and MG versions of its stage, then repeating them to get enough TGIII Weapon CADs for each.
Parts are a lot more forgiving; complete either of those stages for each MS introduced in the version update and its kit pops up in Shop.
Not really a full translation, but for what I understand
>A year after the completion of space elevator, on a game center somewhere you met a girl named Misa. She wanted to recruit you to her Gunpla Team. She wanted to promote and revive her currently deserted shopping district through Gunpla, so now your and Misa's Gunpla Battle Team aims to win both local and national tournament.
>revive her currently deserted shopping district through Gunpla
I love these sorts of plots.
Gunpla battles being able to kill the losers and literally deciding the fate of the world when?
Problem is, GB2 gameplay is more like a "mission" than a "battle".
Gunpla tournament doesn't sound that fun when every team does the same stage/mission and the winner is decided by how high the score they get, instead beat the shit of each other's gunpla like on GBF.
so i started playing GB2, which i had bought almost a year ago and never played due to getting caught with a huge backlog of games and would end up playing EXVSFB instead with the fine /m/en who play here.
is there anywhere with a comprehensive guide? gamefaqs doesnt have any FAQ or guide for it, and im really not sure what i should be doing.
i was on mission 5 or so where you fight Victory i believe with the base weapons you start with and it took me over 30 min to finish the mission cause it was so weak. i finally decided to buy new weapons and just unlocked "scratch", but im kinda just guessing while going.
i just wanna get some good parts to transfer to GB3 when it comes out since im having fun with this one so far.
also how do i get to use the parts i acquired that are red? do i have to be a certain level or something?
red parts are too high a level to be used. For now, just equip the parts that have the largest number that isn't red, and change them every mission.
Scratch new weapon and then upgrade it along with your parts.
Even grunt units' parts are still viable for post-end game mission if it's max leveled. And you can increase your BBR level with upgrading weapon and parts too.
any idea when i will know if i can use them besides them not being red anymore? i see the cost and toal cost, and some parts fit the total cost but still wont let me use them because they are red.
ive been trying to do that, i built the gn blade from exia and its pretty good so far since it works as my gun too. i see the part where its leveled enough you can add bonus's or upgrade parts to a new part. i saw the original gundam head can turn to g3 head, but then do i lose the original version?
Ok, when choosing parts, hit "select". The B.B.R. number in the popup is that level it requires you to be. The level to the left of it is the part level (which you level up in the scratch menu).
on the bottom right side of the screen is your B.B.R. level. You can't equip something higher than your level (you can however scratch build and level up items above your BBR level if you want to)
