How about a mecha anime on ISS the unsung defender of earth, along with it's cohorts like Hubble space telescope and other man-made space machines?
>>
>>13772639

ISS should be like transformer robot, making hard sci-fi fangs and black science groin in pain.
>>
OC threads on /m/ are now a thing of past.Don't expect anyone posting original ideas in the cesspool of shitposting,as /m/ dosen't know how to have fun anymore.
>>
>the ISS is secretly a mecha fighting off ayys
>in order to fight it drains the energy of the crew operating it
>every few years the ISS receives a well rested batch of operators and the worn out operators get to rest on Earth for a few years before coming back

That is all I got, it is a good start.
>>
>>13772639
ISS x Chinese Space Station, OTP.

Also, James Webb is the midseason upgrade. It connects to the Hawaii Telescope network to provide the charge for the Earth Defense network.

They fight against asteroids, and then aliens, who come from the Dark Matter galaxy.
>>
I got some more ideas, the Aliens disguise themselves as humans lobbyists, in attempt to capture earth they try to get politicians to cut funding to NASA, ESA, JAXA and other space agencies.
>>
>>13772715
>Mir sempai actually died protecting earth
>fell from orbit after tackling a deadly meteorite headed for earth
>No one will know this since government will never reveal existance of ayy lamao and Mir's sacrifice will remain a secret
Manly tears were shed that day.
>>
>>13772718
Probes and rovers actually monitor alien activity on moon and mars. Truely they are selfless scouts of earth.

When things get tough, satellight constellation will form a protective field.

However , our space rangers must tackle their greatest >>13772742
foes.
>>
>>13772754
>Space Shuttle Columbia was on its return trip when the aliens attacked
>The ISS is held down by the aliens' heavy suppressing fire and a single alien unit got past it
>The crew of Columbia made their decision to kamikaze into the alien to take it down
Manly tears were shed at mission control
>>
>>13772754
>Sputnik 1 was the first space robot
>his purpose was not to spy on the West, but to save it from a Hydro Mircowave lazer shoot from an alien craft orbiting Uranus
>>
>>13772780
So that makes the Pioneer 10 Anatomy the first test of the FTL drive.

Now I am imagining Poineer 11 using its Advanced Nuclear drive and defending the Earth against ay lamo armies.

Voyager 1 and 2 are both super massive gunbuster style machines, going deeper into the solar system to eliminate the bases near all 8 of the planets.

New Horizons is their successor, going to Pluto Base nonstop to deliver ZA POWER to Voyager.

SpaceX is the new privatized defense company, with its reusable rockets, bringing a new private era. BigLowe inflatable technology brings Ballutes and new EXPAND PARTS to the ISS, so they can use the new INFLATION SHIELDO defense.

There is already robots in the ISS.

>tfw laika was historically world's 1st mecha pilot
>tfw Yuri Gagrin was 1st space fighter pilot
>tfw Neil Armstrong was 1st space marine and claimed moon for earth.

Maybe that's cold war never became ww3 apart from cuban missile crisis since USA and USSR tried to fight a threat from outer space despite trying to off each other?

>>13772886
>>13772899

Wish I had focused on studies and Joined some space agency
>>
>>13772973
Nah, the USA and USSR were secretly pooling resources to fight off the aliens, the brush fires and proxy wars were just distractions so that the people of Earth wouldn't suspect a thing. The Space Race was a cover for launching the space mecha to fight and protect the Earth from the aliens.
>>
>>13772639
I would watch the fuck out of such a show

>>13772790
I'm reminded of the Atlantis's fate in Footfall. A Kamikaze Attack against the enemy flagship is a worthy death for any astronaut. Few written works match tFootfall's space battle. I wouldn't mind seeing an adaptation.

Star wars defense initiative is actually true.

Hard work
and
GUTS

I think I just figured out an excuse for king kong sized mecha.

>NASA builds powerful miniature nuclear reactor but is still too large to power anything smaller than a truck
>power armor and motion controlled anthropomorphic robots already exist
>weight means fuck-all in microgravity
>>
>>13773074
Weight might mean nothing, but mass means inertia.
You'd need awesome flywheels to keep the mech stable.
>>
>>13773077
Big flywheels? Where would hey go?
>>
>>13772939
GO AWAY
>>
>>13773088
Torso, arms, legs.
Basically anywhere, so your mech doesn't start spinning in space.

>COME! BLACK HOLE BUSTER CANNON!

"Starship International Space Station" How can it be a starship and a space station at the same time? Unless it transforms between giant robot, spaceship and space station.

It had to be a set up. Some brave astronauts or cosmonauts or space chimps actually brought Mir down to defend against the false peace Mir was representing.

Starship ISIS

A ragtag group of goatfuckers take over a third-rate starship and go on a mission to forcibly convert everyone to their cult of the rubber ducky,
>>
>>13775294
No I am not, I am just telling you what a Starship ISS should do in the first place.
>>
>>13775508
ISS is a strong independent starship and it's doesn't ask you what it should do
