Seeing as we've explored more of the Late Universal Century, and we've gone back with Origin, and done a side story with Thunderbolt where is the next place to go with the UC?
inb4 Crossbone.
>>13769043
>we've explored more of the Late Universal Century
When the hell did that happen?
>>13769043
the only Late UC material we actually have animated(and that's all that really counts)is F91 and Victory. We haven't explored Late UC enough
>>13769051
This we haven't had any late uc except crossbones shit since the early 90s.
>>13769051
I can only suppose he's counting G-Reco because of it being set thousands of years after UC.
The more important question is this:
Is Chara Soon a CHAR?

>inb4 Crossbone.
I want to believe.
Unicorn and Origin have been animated. Crossbone is older but it is UC, it has to happen c'mon.
MANGA JA NAI
>>13769113
Crossbone doesn't have Glorious Zeon though. We're likely to get that upcoming Unicorn sequel novel (which is all but guaranteed to have Even More Zeon Remnants) animated first.
>>13769113
I stopped believing years ago.
>>13769113
Sentinel first pls.
Goddamnit Bandai, you can buy the rights back.
>>13769043
>inb4 Crossbone
F90, then.
Most of Crossbone needs to be made not canon t b h
>>13771975
Isn't it in a grey area to begin with anyways? It's only "official" if it's animated, according to Sunrise.
>>13771987
A lot of the dumb stuff needs to be toned down and for characters to be given deeper characterization. It's extremely 90s anime with the big empire and characters
>>13772032
Given the small edits done to Thunderbolt to fit in the animated canon, it would be a huge undertaking to make Crossbone blend in, so this might take a while.
>deeper characterization
That might be a tough call, however.
>>13771987
The "it's only official if it's animated" line shouldn't be taken all that seriously. It wasn't a Sunrise or Bandai announcement, it was a producer who had worked on one of the Gundam shows speaking in an interview and solely referencing which suits were and weren't to be taken as official. Sunrise has never released any kind of statement regarding official-ness and probably never will because it's not something they're terribly concerned over.

>Seeing as we've explored more of the Late Universal Century,
wat
>and we've gone back with Origin, and done a side story with Thunderbolt
and 0080, and 0083, and 08th MS Team, and MS Igloo, and the vast majority of Gundam video games, and the vast majority of Gundam manga, etc etc etc...
>where is the next place to go with the UC?
Zeta-era and ZZ-era sidestories, obviously.
>>13769043
>where is the next place to go with the UC?
Battlefield Record 0081
Advance of Zeta
Z-MSV story please?
Sentinel
ZZ-MSV story please?
Double Fake
Moon Crisis
Hathaway's Flash
Reon
F90
Silouhette Formula
F91 story continuation please
>>13771987
Not big on Gundam, but "official" and "canon" mean different things. The word you mean is canon, not official. If its authorized by the copyright holders its official.
>>13769043
>where is the next place to go with the UC?
obvious answer is obvious
>>13772124
no such thing as "canon" in Japan
>>13772132
They dont use the word, but the concept remains.
Can we just fucking stop with UC already?
>>13772124
>Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger
An alternate UC timeline where Zeon won the war
Or better yet, One Year war remade from the perspective of Zeon
Sieg Zeon!
Sieg Zeon!

ZZ Gundam: A New Translation

I'd like to see what Amuro was doing during Zeta and ZZ. And what happened to Char before CCA Like we have that 2 min video from a video game, but how cool would it be if we had a series that showed Amuro in top form, then half way through the show Char returns from out of no where and we get to see how and why he's become the man he is and how Amuro deals with the turn of a man he thought he was on good terms with. Plus we'd get that sexy pink Zeta animated.
