The way you word that makes it sound wrong. At the turn of the 90s Japan went into a recession (this killed OVAs and is technically still actually going, by the way) so to keep sales up they tried to make Gunpla more affordable. Whether this helped or not I really can't say, but even as MS have gotten taller again they haven't necessarily gotten much bigger overall since they tend to be much skinnier.

Particularly on the grunt side Leos and Grazes are dinky motherfuckers compared to a Zaku and much skinnier than a Den'an Gei or Zolo.

Even Man Rodi is a good example here because it's a head shorter than the skinnier IBO MS and hollow as fuck.

For me, I'd love to get some Shuffle Alliance stuff and some Gundam X stuff, mainly Airmaster and Leopard. Some option parts to turn MG Gundam X into the dolls would be nice. Also an MG Zaku Kai. It's so wrong that Bernie doesn't get any love, his Zaku Kai was practically the lead suit or at least tied with Alex.
