>Velika is the name taken by a Great Being who transferred his consciousness into a Po-Matoran body to observe the functioning of the Matoran Universe. On Voya Nui, he was known as an eccentric and inventive member of the Voya Nui Resistance Team. Since the Reformation of Spherus Magna, Velika has put into motion a plan to rule Spherus Magna, which necessitates the murder of several powerful Matoran Universe entities. >During his time as a Matoran, Velika, having concluded that the destruction of the planet was due to poor leadership by the Great Beings, developed a plan to seize control of Spherus Magna for himself. Part of his plan involved the killing of powerful Matoran Universe inhabitants acting outside of their parameters, who might object to his rule. Velika defeated Lesovikk and stole his Air Sword, with which he killed Karzahni at Iron Canyon and extracted Tren Krom from his prison before murdering him in Bota Magna. Velika killed both in gruesome ways to inspire fear among the population, which he planned to use to ensure his acceptance as a ruler. >Due to his alliance with Kabrua, Velika knew about the Vorox on Bota Magna. Planning to use them as shock troops, Velika gave them sophisticated force blasters and a device capable of blocking a Toa's Elemental Powers. He also told them of the regression and tragedy of the Bara Magna Vorox. Velika then directed them to capture and kill a group of Toa and Glatorian who were in the process of tracking down the Great Beings to inform them of Spherus Magna's restoration. >Velika also took advantage of an opportunity to take Axonn, Brutaka, Miserix, Tuyet, Helryx, Vezon, and Artakha out in one fell swoop, as they had all gathered in one place at the behest of an insane Great Being. He rigged the structure to blow, and then began crafting a grave marker for his intended victims. http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Velika
>>13758076 No shit. I was hyped for the initial winter wave leaks, but they seem worse every time I look at them. Still, they have some interesting aspects. The summer wave looks unappealing as fuck, though, same as last time.
>>13763048 >it works when you combine him with Melum no. because he would still have gold. of all incarnations of the original Bionicle before they raped it with hero factory, Kopaka has never had any gold parts.
But yeah I guess I can just throw those parts away and replace them with better ones.
>>13763107 >>13763124 I miss those bonus CDs featuring cool as fuck animations, that were included with every set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk47EDfWK10
I remember watching them over and over, and over again as a kid. I also really loved to listen to all the narrations and characters/masks descriptions. The minigames were fun too, especially that one in which you had to fight the Bohrok Swarms.
>>13764264 Those early CDs where the shit. So much lore packed into them, even though they didn't get into the details of the story so much. But that mystical aura and presenting the backstory with stones and carvings (because they didn't want to give away the giant robot too soon) was brilliant.
>>13764008 I missed out on it as a kid, but a few years ago I decided to have a go at it. It was a half-finished godawful piece of shit, also a lore-rape. At least they had the decency to not release the 2001 game when they couldn't complete it in time.
>>13757668 THIS. My melanin-enriched friend! >Dat music >Dat chill as fuck island >The endless motherfucking forest >Dat cinematic when you encounter Tahu >Dat creepy Makuta who looks like a mix between a zombie matoran and a tentacle monster.
>>13766156 The sequel, though, is such a disappointment, even when it's playable. >boring, non-engaging attempts at world-building >no story to speak of >chores >all those new locations being pointless story-wise >taking ages to traverse screens >ungodly amount of grinding >games being easy as fuck after said grinding >you don't even play the championship the game's been building up to >a total of like three cutscenes, none memorable >the pointlessness of it all, you achieve nothing and the ending is random as fuck to tie into the movie
>>13768827 2015 Toa sets were breddy okay, Protectors were neat too. Some of the '16 sets look passable, though I don't have any.
Story and media have been lackluster at best. Oversimplified shit, and there's still lots of goof-ups like misdrawn comics and all the errors they had on the website. Don't have much hope for the Netflix show.
>>13772341 >Mata Nui >Metru Nui >The one with the Taraka (Those adds) >The sunken city >The one that was underground >The swamps Shit, I'm forgetting some and I forgot some of their names, but I remember, brother. I remember
>>13759168 I mixed the 2015 and 2016 Pohatu, primarily using the body frame/shape of 2016 with arms from the 2015. Armor pieces from both have been applied however I felt was more appealing to me and I've gotta way he looks pretty good, beige torso aside.
>>13758070 I'd have to make too many pieces out of longer liftarms since you can't get a lot of them in a 2l length with the right colors. It's also just expensive in general, and I didn't know what I'd do with pohatu's torso. Just flipping it upside down might now work with the articulation setup. Not to mention, a long with Tahu, Gali has the most masculine shoulder/hip setup, so I'd feel obligated to adjust it to make it more feminine, opposite to what I did on Onua's, as he's more masculine than the original.
>>13763011 It's attached to a large bar (as opposed to an axle rod), and on the other side, that bar is used for the neck joint's lateral movement, so it'll move the neck accouple of degrees, but it'll just start spinning by itself once it reaches a certain point since the gear's not as tight as either piece in front of it. So it has no intentional gimmick, it's just there for show.
