Both times they used it, it was next to useless. Just slowed the bad guys down instead of stopping them, but it gave the good guys time to think.

The one instance it was useful when Vakama threatened to smash it, causing the fabric of time to fold over itself and make all of history happen at once. Made Makuta back down with that threat.

I remember watching them over and over, and over again as a kid. I also really loved to listen to all the narrations and characters/masks descriptions. The minigames were fun too, especially that one in which you had to fight the Bohrok Swarms.

2015 Toa sets were breddy okay, Protectors were neat too. Some of the '16 sets look passable, though I don't have any.

Story and media have been lackluster at best. Oversimplified shit, and there's still lots of goof-ups like misdrawn comics and all the errors they had on the website. Don't have much hope for the Netflix show.

UGH. Kopaka 2015/2016 is just so damn ugly. Putting all that gold & blue stuff on him made him look like shit.

The all white and some black accents was what made Kopaka a menacing snow/ice Toa in the first place...

I don't think I'll ever truly grow out of it. Bionicle occupied a major part of my childhood.

I mixed the 2015 and 2016 Pohatu, primarily using the body frame/shape of 2016 with arms from the 2015. Armor pieces from both have been applied however I felt was more appealing to me and I've gotta way he looks pretty good, beige torso aside.

I'd have to make too many pieces out of longer liftarms since you can't get a lot of them in a 2l length with the right colors. It's also just expensive in general, and I didn't know what I'd do with pohatu's torso. Just flipping it upside down might now work with the articulation setup. Not to mention, a long with Tahu, Gali has the most masculine shoulder/hip setup, so I'd feel obligated to adjust it to make it more feminine, opposite to what I did on Onua's, as he's more masculine than the original.

It's attached to a large bar (as opposed to an axle rod), and on the other side, that bar is used for the neck joint's lateral movement, so it'll move the neck accouple of degrees, but it'll just start spinning by itself once it reaches a certain point since the gear's not as tight as either piece in front of it. So it has no intentional gimmick, it's just there for show.
