This has to be the most ridiculous use of CG yet on the franchise.
Don't worry. Goemon is even stronger than Boost.
Alright a night fight! Time to see the Ghost suit fight while glo-What? Where not doing that? Where using Boost? Oh....oh...
To be fair from the looks of it, Boost is a base form like Ghost and can adopt other forms if Goemon keeping the Boost attire is any indication.
So Goemon!Ghost might be weaker than Goemon!Boost for example
Who do you think Eitoku is talking to ?
I read up on Ryoma and found this:
Now I want to see a Bruce Lee Eyecon.
Also the plot this week looked like something out of Fourze, with the satellite and getting people to get along.
Well that explains why they're using Ryoma as an Eyecon. Doesn't explain why they chose to cut Galileo when there's an episode based around space.
>Nobunaga is #1
That's friggin' weird.
>Additionally, Nobunaga was very interested in European culture which was still very new to Japan. He collected pieces of Western art as well as arms and armor, and he is considered to be among the first Japanese people in recorded history to wear European clothes.
Is he the original Kenichi Smith?
>Fucking bullshit. Why did they even make suits that glow if they were never going to use them?
There is a "hero suit" and "action suit". I remember it mentioned for one of the Batman movies. Basically you have one detailed and pretty suit for closeups and promotions, but an entirely different, more robust and functional suit in action scenes.
The glowing suit and the fighting suit are two different suits. One is used during non-combat scenes where they're just posing or something while the other is used so the stunt actors can see and carry out their battles.
You can tell the different as the stunt suits usually have small slits in the front where the actors can see out of
I expected nothing and was plesently surprised. I thought we'd be back to the same shit formula from the earlier episodes, but this was pretty fun. Onari was actually funny for once and Ryoma's cool considering what he is. Also YooOOooo is goat best form.
>That's friggin' weird.
Well, he is a big deal after all.
Did they ever shoot fire at a suit with somebody still wearing it?
He's a big deal but he's also highly villified, especially in Japanese works.
If his "Demon King" rep were just from outsiders looking in and Nobunaga were viewed as a righteous noble in Japan (like Vlad III is in Romania, for example) then it would make sense but given how Japanese media seems to view Nobunaga it seems like the survey is akin to Germans saying Hitler was their greatest historical figure.
It's like how Greeks don't villify Alexander or Philip 3 even though they conquered, slaughtered and raped, because ultimately they proved to be huge badasses. That's usually how history cleans itself up. Even in the UK they somewhat honor Oliver Cromwell even though he commited treason and regicide.
They still do that shit.
I was gonna put a Boo! I made the image on Monday when I finished editing, and I set it for the release post. Then I realized I forgot the Boo, so I was going to add it on Wednesday...
Then Alan Rickman died, and it seemed in poor taste to add to a Die Hard image. At least it made me SAD. So there's a long story for no reason.
I'll make up for it next week with twice as many boos.
This whole thing with Eyecons possessing people should've been used from the start. I really liked what it brought to this episode.
The second most fabulous Ryoma in Kamen Rider. Right after this guy
Have you ever seen the Golgom Cave? Showa version of this place would be like the Golgom Cave but without the plaster rocks and some red spotlights.
It'd probably look better than what we got desu
The should work on their product name, that sounds fucking gross.
So Makoto comes, helps even the odds... And then he immediately leaves again.
I think they're trying to show that Makoto is friendly to Takeru now but he has other shit he has to deal with off-screen (dealing with the fallout from betraying Alan's plans) so he can't be around 24/7.
And also he probably feels really guilty about the fact that Takeru ended up being the one to rescue Kanon and he's trying to pay back that debt a little.
He has the better base form and jingle compared to Ghost, but his alternate forms fall flat for me. All of Ghost's jingles have been on point for me so far, but I'm not feeling Tutankhamen or Nobunaga. Also Specter has the better standby noise of the two riders.
I know that, that was true of all the other Riders that glowed during night fights too. Hell, the Faiz hero suit is completely blind and very heavy and yet we got at least a few glowing Faiz finishers at night. The trick is just to just choreograph the scene so that it can be done blind (not a ton of dodging or wild stunts.)
i really liked the part where Spectre came to help, Ghost said thanks, and he just walked away like
>no problem brah!
>chill ya later
>the other 2 come in
like it was funny and nice.
>dat blue screen of death on one of the computers
They will probably stick to the Japanese Eyecons in speaking roles because why the fuck would amy of the nonJapanese Eyecons be speaking anything but their native tongue?
I would like to see a story where one of nonJapanese ones speak their native tongue. Most likely an English-speaking Eyecon, because I assume that would be the easiest for Toei to come find in their pools of actors.
At least make a scene at the beginning where they are speaking English and somebody like Takeru expresses that he can't understand him. Then they look into their host's brain to try to figure out Japanese.
Ryoma is awesome as fuck in this episode. Kind of weird since the latest incarnation of this guy I saw is pic related
Anon, you built this up WAY too much. How the hell does this compare to concrete traffic cone T-rexes, or giant mechanical mammoths?
Also, the Ganma seriously couldn't borrow souls before Saionji joined them. That's kinda lame, man.
I think you misunderstood me; I didn't say it was ridiculous in a "whoa this is INSANE and cool but they're never going to do it again until the finale or something" like the rest of KR CGs. I just mean it's fucking pathetic.
No, I think I got you the first time. I was hoping for new levels of stupid from KR CG, but really it was nothing. It's not bad enough to be good, nor is it a memorable interpretation of Hell, It's kinda just a room with some spinning lights in it and floating eyeballs. In fact I think it the same room they the film the Sentai handoffs in each year.
So like, if I hadn't have seen your post, wouldn't have given a second thought about this scene. But now that I have, I noticed that they're not much to think on from this scene. It's just filler until we see Alan's brother.
Now that was a pretty good Hell. I hope Ghost gets something similar to that later on.
It wouldn't surprise me if the reason her leg got hurt in-character was to explain the actress's injury. They've gotten better at doing justifications for these sorts of things in the past few years, compared to when Kabuto had some of the main characters just fucking vanish for dozens of episodes at a time because they couldn't get the actors to show up or when Hana was replaced with a loli in Den-O.
>Not being able to defeat Kojirou with Musashi alone
The timeline changed. Except Hana was a Singularity Point, whose sole defining property is that they are immune to changes in the timeline, so it was Den-O just not giving a fuck.
going from the Wiki
Katana= Sasaki Kojirō another swordsman Musashi ended up killing in a duel
Yari/Spear= Combo of Hōzōin Kakuzenbō In'ei, a japanese monk who founded a martial arts based off that spear and sun wukong since the spear can elongate.
Denki Ganma= Nikola Tesla and it's monster form is based off of the Philadelphia experiment
Book Ganma= Mad Hatter from Alice in wonder land so by proxy Lewis Carroll
Ono/ Axe/ Tomahawk Ganma= Native american possibly Sitting bull or Geronimo
Machine Gun Ganma= Unstated Italian american gangsters possibly Al Capone
Onpu Ganma= Mozart
Insect= Shocker monster Bee Woman
Seiryuto/ Guan Dao Ganma= Guan Yu
Planet Ganma= Unamed Astronaut possibly Neil Armstrong
I really want a Bruce Lee Eyecon too.
Ignore the tumblr, it was too good to pass up
>Takeru actually got away with this being his explanation.
