Did they ever make that Justeen anime? There were plans to fully do it after originally using it as experimental extras in whatever anime it was used as a in-series series. Think the fad was rotoscoping or whatever.

Speaking of shows that didn't get realized, wasn't there a new Braves or Brave-like series that was being teased awhile back?

I recall it featured an upbeat spikey haired male and a blonde, ponytailed female as the two leads, both looked like mature high schoolers, and the mecha distinctly had a GGG-style head and lion-themed torso. Was featured in a magazine scan. One of the /m/ tripfags posted about it at one point.

Watching that episode just made me with there were more. I liked those kind of mecha, especially when it's done with modern animation.
