I believe 以下 usually refers to "less than or equal to," so I assume SR units are permitted. Just no SSR units (though it looks like the friend slot is exempted from that requirement).

Come to think of it. I've never played a game where I've watched every show included.

I was thinking of more SRC Custom Units to implement because the customs are very Dodge heavy right now and I'm wondering - has there been any series where the MC unit is a dodger while the Support/Second Tier units are HP/Armor tanks?
>>
>>13748025
Armor doesn't really work with the Winkysoft damage formula unless it's ridiculously-high and/or you have the Iron Wall spirit.

Oh... I had an SSR Support Unit, that must be why I wasn't getting the requirement.
>>

Not that bad against grunts, really, I'll say it's probably more consistent than dodge-tanking since the Rank upgrade system in SRC makes it really hard to just stack on Mobility like you can in regular SRW

>Heroman and someone who can fly

I use Decieve, it's the one that matches ranges best.
>>
>>13748241
I do Orphes/Odyssea+Linebarrel whenever those two aren't being autodeployed. Their pair bonuses synergize really, really well with each other. As for Heroman, I put it with the R-Daigun.

>>13748230
I do Hind-Kind+Bakuryu, and put Dynames with Saya. I also have SKL with a flyer until I can Wingcross.

>>13748277
Pair bonus synergy's more important than some delusional/outdated notion that people can only pair up with someone from their own show.

Vardant
Fat Yellow One
Pink Loli Death Machine
White Spear Guy

Much like how keeping your TV's volume at a healthy level is more important than keeping it at an even number or a factor of five.
>>
>>13748318
>But that's how it should be.
No. No it's not. The overwhelming majority of best partnerships in UX are cross-series.

>>13748321
It would help if you actually gave out names because I have no idea wtf "pink loli death machine" and "white spear guy" are.
>>
>>13748331
Funny you say that, because the volume that's easiest on my ears when playing PS3 games is either 8 or 10 (even number and multiple of 5). And I think the maximum for my TV is 99.

>>13748321
Linebarrel and Vardant are definitely worth the cash.

Later on you get most of Katou's people and, if you get the secret, Ishigami and JUDA. Of all of those, Ishigami and Katou are pretty good for an investment.

>>13748335
Considering that it's Linebarrels, any sentient being with a working respiratory system should be able to use context clues to deduce the ambiguous Machina.
>>
>>13748335
I forget the names.

One is huge, pink, has fuck all weapons and a special power called Nerve Crack(?), piloted by a little girl.

The other is a white mech with a lance.

>>13748350
>pink

Nigga, you're color blind.
>>
>>13748362
>you do

>>
>>13748346
You do. He's part of the group that joins in the stage after the Heroman finale. Him, Katou, and Masaki at least, with Sakomizu, Lu Bu+Diaochan, and Ishigami possible if you did their secret conditions properly.

>>13748350
Nerve Crack's used by Deceive. And I don't think Shizuna counts as a little girl, and Izuna is a guy. And the white one with a lance is...Tsubaki-hime? The pilot's a redhead woman, right? That one's fucking awesome. Only two attacks, but the 1-3 is ridiculously cost-effective for its power level.
>>
>>13748346
You get Jack Smith later on then where he is. The only guy you don't get is the Kaitou guy who actually pilots a unit. He fucks off instead of joining you as sequel bait.
>>
>>13748368
No, he's talking about.. fuck I am bad with names. The one Soubi pilots. Talisman. You get it automatically in UX since he's not randomly a villain like he was in the anime.
>>
>>13748321
>Pink Loli Death Machine

Is Decieve pink? I thought it was Brown.

>loli

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

But seriously, Linebarrel is great, Vardant is also great, and NAHVU CURACKU - the ability, not the poopy 1-3 move - is good enough to make Decieve good. Hind-Kind is an ok sniper, I guess, Bullet Arm is pretty cool, and Talisman... it hits pretty hard? I dunno, there's probably better later.

>>13748350
Your current mechs are Linebarrel, Vardent, Hind Kind, Decieve, and Talisman. Next one you'll get is Painkiller, which is entirely unlike the anime one and the one you see in L because Miu here is played as MURDERBITCH.

Oh, right. Talisman. That one's not too bad. I like pairing it with Guan Yu. However, like Guan Yu, it falls off in the endgame. It had a longer shelf life for me when I reached 15 upgrade mode, but I don't think I've ever taken it to the final stage.

You also get Cao Cao eventually, and the two villain's you've seen by now are recruitable. There is also one Tactician for the three main groups, but one of them is also one of the two beings in the whole game you lose for good and can never get back.

Notably, later on in the game, the four main figures all get an upgrade (though it's before you get Lu Bu, I think? I dunno.), and if you do recruit him you get THE FOUR GODS ARE UNITED.

It's important to have a knowledge of the anime here. The anime ended after the Battle at the Red Cliffs, with Cao Cao biting it. We see Cao Pi in the epilogue, but he doesn't actually do anything. Now, in the BB Senshi storyline, he does, since that goes on quite a ways, but they're using SD Gundam Sangokuden, which doesn't.

Speaking of B-WING, mentioned earlier in my faux-list (which at least got some attention this time, silly as my little "game" is), I did another shite attempt in Paint to show off all the variants of the B-WING unit, much like I did to compare the Getter Robos of the game.

Spam the shit out of their finishers and strongest moves, they're EN efficient/ammo efficient enough for that to work. Their 1-3s are all decent too. Anything else, you never use ever. They can make ok mook killers without Tobikage, but they're pretty useless against bosses. If Tobikage ever does show up - say, because the Elshank's useless ass got targeted to hard, or because someone got a lucky hit on Houraioh - make Bakuryu run headlong at a boss and ensure he's hit, because 90% of the time he'll get knocked into combining range.
>>
>>13748483

>>
>>13748230
Fafner Mark Elf and Fafner Mark Impulse.
>>
>>13748487
Mike is the best character on that show, don't you go dissing my bro Mike!

Rene has a good MAP when combined, and you will eventually have control over that at will, and she's much better in general than she was in Impact (THANKS GAME, I REALLY LOVE HAVING NO SPAM MOVES!). Mike isn't bad when not combined, but he does have a slight problem in that the games always forget like half his moveset. Including a basic melee move!

Also if you ever NEED to use the decombined forms to hit bosses, there's always their combo, I suppose. It's a thing alright.
>>
>>13748480
Indeed.

>>13748483
If Tobikage appears, just sacrifice the nearest green haired girl you can find, to please him.
>>
>>13748321
Linebarrel and Verdant are the two best units to get focus, most of Katou's guys don't join up until the last few missions, so they kind of lose points there. Pretender has a much better Nerve Crack buff than Deceive, and Apparition is your true sniper unit. Most Linebarrel units suffer from only having two or three attacks (JUDA gets ONE) so they aren't really versatile.
>>
>most of the secrets in UX have a shitload of steps and require a ton of work

>not the poopy 1-3 move
But the attack is great. It absolutely annihilates anything without All Canceler.

Which, to be fair, means it does get shut down pretty hard in late game, but it's nice to have against most of the early-mid bosses.

>it inflicts the most overpowered status effect in the entire series.

Armor Down?

And the problem I have with it is that it's Decieve's longer range move, when EVERY ENEMY IN THE GAME targets Decieve because of its high HP and need to be close to deal damage. And a lot don't play nice and get to 1-2 range.

>>
RE: Status Effects in UX
Everything that's not immune dies too quickly and everything that has enough HP that an effect would be useful on them is immune.
>>
>>13748614
64 without secrets and 82 with (rough estimate) is too much? Ooooooooooooookay.
>>
>>13748622
Especially since you can field 44 on the final stage.
>>
>>13748586
Stun prevents the enemy from doing anything.

Stats down effectively prevents the enemy from doing anything (with their accuracy halved, they'll be pulling 0% hit rates even on your battleships), while also substantially increasing your damage output, since their defense is lowered and you're critting on every attack.

The only thing stun has over stats down is that it prevents the enemy from moving. And if you're worried about them moving, you can just surround them or use Atlach-Nacha.

Depends on the cast list and how many units each series has. Fafner and Linebarrels have a lot of units and it's nice for them to get so many reps. So I guess for me I'd like 70-80 (not counting battleships), although with something a series list as long as Z3's, I don't mind having over 100.
>>
>>13748779
I'd go for 20-40 bbqh
>>
>>13748755
Depends entirely on what type of squad system you have in place.

Eighty potentially fieldable units (I'd say pilots but there's cases like A where that isn't the best descriptor) is way too many if you don't have squads, you'll have nowhere near enough deploy slots for everything. It's fine for 2 man squads, great for 3, and maybe a little too few for 4.
>>
>>13748795
No.

>>13748797
>Eighty potentially fieldable units [...] is way too many if you don't have squads
Or it means you have a lot of room to come up with different deploys over multiple playthroughs.
>>
>>13748826
>Or it means you have a lot of room to come up with different deploys over multiple playthroughs.

Ok, see, here's the thing. Most people are going to field MCs, important and good side units, and then a bevy of other things. You assume something along the lines of 20 deploy slots in the endgame. Now, THEORETICALLY, that means you do it in four runs... except most people are still going to field MCs for a few runs afterwards because they're good units, so it'll take a few NG+s for them to get more. And if you're designing a game that takes over 10 full runs for the average player to explore all the content, you have fucked up.

Compare to 2 man squads, which can do 80 characters in 20 slots in 2 and will probably accomplish it in 3 or 4. Compare to 3 man squads, which will almost certainly do it in 2. That's a better plan.

Then there's 4 man squads, which can and will do it in 1, and that's kind of a mistake really since NG+ is going to be a lot samier (see also: Alpha 2)
>>
>>13748845
Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?

I mean, on the one hand that's kind of cool, on the other hand it would be awful if not for Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.
>>
>>13748845
Z2 would've been way better with at least two man squads. You don't even have room to deploy every MC until the very end of Saisei for fuck's sake, nevermind side characters and support units.
>>
>>13748861
>Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?
I think there are still at least half a dozen people you won't have room for.

>Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.
And it probably takes more hits to kill than any other final boss, too, due to LL + no ignore size.
>>
>>13748826
>No
Yes.
>>
>>13748861
>Doesn't Alpha 2 give you exactly enough units if you get every secret to fill every squad on the final stage?

And that's only assuming Ibis's route. If you're on Arado's or Sanger's, you'll be short one unit, and if you take Kusuha's you'll be short two. They give you LESS units than what you can deploy in the last stage if you get every single secret on all but one of the routes - and remember, a few of those characters are ROUTE SPECIFIC SECRETS - take Kusuha's route and don't join with Haman? Congrats, you can now field 19 full squads out of 20. And that's really, really dumb from a designer's perspective.

>if not for Ganeden being the easiest final boss in SRW history.

I say the ones you can OHKO are easier.

>>13748864

Nadesico has Akito, who's the only character from that whole show I can tolerate, SEED has Mwu and Murrue who are generally alright but don't do any serious interacting with the main cast, Brain Powered...hell, I played J four times and Alpha 2 three and I don't remember anything about Brain Powered.

I'm a having a problem with that PS2 emulator while running Z. While FPS vary between maps (tundra maps seem to be the worst for some reason), battle animations will some times have this weird drop Ifrom 60 FPS, to 36-38) when a character talks, or the white prompt at the top of the screen shows up when it's a units turn to attack. The issue isn't severe, but I just want to keep the battle animation with as little interruption as possible.

I'm gonna pass on the blog. As much as I'd love to have the free time to sit around, play UX, and dump screenshots of the script, I think I'd be more useful to everyone cracking GCs compression. Anybody can do what I was doing.

No problem about the way it sounded. It came out sounding halfway between "Fuck off" and "Please continue this somewhere where it'll actually be saved". So I was bit confused, but it's alright.

And yes, I do know how to CFW a 3ds, but Homebrew general is still your best bet. What firmware are you running, old or new 3ds, and do you have HBL yet?

I still don't know how to get DLC running though. Time to try NTR.
>>
http://i.imgur.com/tH9FMpc.png
For those of you with an O3DS, this is what I used to get a CFW to play UX and BX, not entirely sure how relevant this is anymore since I did it like 2 weeks ago.
>>
>>13749903
>old or new 3ds, and do you have HBL yet?
I got an old 3ds with version 9.2 I did try a HBL a while back
>>
>>13749929
OK. You're pretty safe right now then. The only risky part of this process is downgrading and you don't need to do that. Do you still have HBL? Have you setup an emunand or anything else like that?
>>
>>13749968
Negative, basically got a new SD card and formatted the old one, So I have zero HBL
>>
>>13749968
So, to anyone who might have wanted me to do a UX LP now that it's an open option (and I actually have watched all the series that matter)... Not sure why you want that, but it's not happening any time soon, it'd be NG+3 or 4 (either when I have all the secrets, or when Brera's the only thing left).

BX, though, is a possibility. Maybe. Not in the immediate sense, though, at the very least I'd want to have seen Gundam AGE first.

Use tubehax to block Nintendo's update servers.
http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
You'll need the starter kit, extract it to your sd card, launch the browser and use browserhax to launch into the HBL.
Use the HBL to install menuhax (which allows autoboot into the HBL)

Follow one of the processes to get EmuNAND on your system and backup your SysNAND.

Get RXtools 3.0
Use RXtools to inject FBI to your EmuNAND H&S app

Unlink your NANDs (format your system NAND, then reblock Nintendo's update servers)

Upgrade EmuNAND to 10.3 if that interests you (the servers are under maintenance now, so you probably won't be able to. Don't upgrade to 10.4 if it's released after the maintenance.

Get CTRbootmanager to choose whether you boot to RXtools or HBL.

Download cias and install them on EmuNAND.

Strike Freedom is really not that broken in the games. K doesn't count since everyone was broken in that mess.
>>

Not really, there's quite a few units in K that don't get good unless you feed them a metric crapton of shit.

There's also jokers like Temjin who's supposed to be the MC unit of VO but gets completely outclassed by White Knight in the end.

Unfortunately, I have no way of merging the saves - just replacing them is all I have.

But, when you do finish your first run, be sure to mention it and I'll drop the save, as well as the other items needed for the transfer.

I don't know where this glitch came from but I got Yllbora in the second run along with all the other Justice route characters and Brera in the last.
>>

I think Yllbora's route split flags don't carry over. Something like that.
Something minute but also enough to fuck up a run like that.

I'm gonna copy the two routes that Matt wrote out. If anyone can compress it to four runs, I'm looking forward to it.

>Route 1: The normal one, would be the 3 route way if Yllbora worked.

Run 1, get Master Therion, the Dunbine/WoR guys, and the Fafner guys.

Run 2, get... uh, pretty much everything else that isn't Yllbora or Brera. This means Will, Karen, Ishigami, Ryofu/Lu Bu and Chousen/Diaochan, Patrick and Andrei, Graham, and Ishigami.

Runs 3/4: Get either Brera or Yllbora, then get the other. Lament that if Yllbora worked right, or if he didn't have his third requirement, you could still do this in three runs.

>Route 2: What I'm doing on my file, the JUSTICE ROUTE.

Run 1: Get Ishigami and Lu Bu FIRST. Michio and Kurusu (Cross? Still haven't gotten a shot at HaE, will get a chance after work later) are still obtainable of the Fafner secrets, but Goubain and Female Aura Battler aren't.

Run 2: Get everything from Run 2 of the first one, as well as everything else from Run 1 of the first one, except Karen.

Run 3/4: See Route 1 for details, add Karen to the third run.

SRC Dungeon unit balancing observation but Brad and Brad-like friends (i.e people who only have Range 1 attacks on their units) aren't as crippled as they would be in most SRW games because enemy units almost never have Post-Movement attacks with a range of more than 1 - and their AI don't prioritize units that can't counterattack so if they're getting sniped, it's a combination of somehow being the weakest defensive unit (unlikely) in range because you left them in a position where that would happen.

Isn't Yllbora's issue that the post Chapter 6 routesplit doesn't stay unlocked?
>>
>>13750517
Yes. I ticked all the flags for him in one playthrough besides the A route which I'd gotten on the previous run, and didn't get him.
>>
A quick examination of the secrets guide shows makes me think that this can't be done in three runs, but it has to be four. Here's my reasoning.

The route split after 13 is three part and has secrets on all three routes. Therefore, the absolute minimum number of runs that it could take is three. However, we need to look back and see if there are any complications that arise from this. Yilbora and Ryofu both have actions they need to take in this split, which means that they need to fulfill all requirements that don't save between runs. However, we run into a contradiction. Yilbora has the flag to meet with Celestial being after stage 6 that supposedly doesn't save. Ryofu has a resetting requirement to remain with JUDA.

In other words, if Yilbora's flag is in fact glitched, it will take 4 runs minimum. On the other hand, if Shin was in fact able to do it in three runs, it means that Yilbora's flag isn't glitched, or at least isn't completely glitched.

>>13750532
I thought I had it for a minute, but fucking Ryofu and his 1st split requirement fucked me up. The idea was to do the Europe split on a first run along with a bunch of others to set up flags for getting everyone else in two runs... except that still doesn't work, because Yllbora and Lu Bu require you to take one of two routes on the first split and then the same on the second, so it STILL takes 4.

I actually tried to use some manner of coherence and real/super balance creating it without throwing SRC's usual insanity in it, as best as my guesswork could, with Orguss being my backup in case I needed some decent time-space shenanigans.

The most coherence is probably my attempt at putting in three ninja series with Tobikage, Ganbaruger and Getter Rekka. I considered adding a mild fantasy kick with Ryuknight, Wataru, and Rayearth, but decided not to.
>>
>>13751243
Plots and backgrounds, though.

>Wing, Tobikage, and 00 involve you fighting the government, and Macross Plus could be modified to that
>Gaiking LoDM and God Mazinger are IN ANOTHER WORLD works
>Getter Robo and Mazinkaiser can go anywhere really

The real stickler here is Daltanius, which implies a level of "aliens have taken over Earth" while I don't think the rest have that, but then, GC didn't actually use that bit of its plot, surprisingly enough.
>>
>>13751323
Honestly, not knowing anything about Daltanius other than the Voltron trivia and it's pretty catchy theme, I was taking the "Future Robo Daltanius" thing a bit too literally and thinking it could be paired with Baldios's plot somehow, or through some Orguss shenanigans.

The alternative was sticking Daltanius, Golion, and GaoGaiGar together for maximum lion.

Final Dynamic Special between both Mazingers and both Getters?
>>
>>13751345

>>
>>13751345
Daltanius is the last of the Robot Romance Series - you know, Combattler, Voltes, Daimos? It's the fourth entry, and the final one thanks to unfortunate creator death.

From the opening, I'm fairly certain it's "future" in that it protects the future of mankind (and various races that all look bizarrely humanlike because the alien looking ones are all eeeeeevil) from the Zaar Empire.

>>13751345
But anon, Shichi-Lion is going to be bad luck. Actually we can blame the death of one of the Golion pilots on that.
>>
>>13751392
Ah. Well, it's still nice that my random assortment of series actually ended up making something mildly coherent.

Then the realization that all that can be done about it is vaguely imagine it actually happening and being animated sinks in, and then I get sad.

Wonder which of those series would have their final boss be the last of the non-original bosses to take down? Seems like the kind of list where there'd be a split around that time, where one side takes down, I dunno, Ribbons, and the other side...Gol? God Mazinger's boss? Ganbaruger's?
>>
>>13751042
>"three of Strike/Flash/Fortitude/Sense/Focus, Damage Spirit, other".
Feels like SRW got itself designed into a corner, potentially due to fan/player complaints because every pilot needs Strike/(Defense Spirit)/(ValorORSoul)/Focus (for Reals) to be considered "viable" - even with 6 spirit slots that still just leaves you with just 2 slots for customization instead of 1.

Probably won't happen but it would be nice to see a numbers overhaul in future SRW where Spirits like Focus's numbers are "bonuses" rather than expected
>>
Okay Top Aces before the final stage of UX
Arnie - 519
Shinn - 129
Joe -121
>>
>>13751422
I dunno, I haven't seen some of them. I do know Ganbaruger in general got turned into a batch of chumps in Neo, but that's really not surprising, everyone that wasn't Ryu Knight, Liger, Gosaurer (FUCKING ENGINE KING AND HIS FUCKING BULLSHIT), or Lamune got chumped there.
>>
>>13751440
Sounds like it'd be good reason for Ganbaruger to get their villains to have some presence, whoever they are.

I'm also trying to imagine what the viable villain team-ups of that series list would be, unless we just bunch them into the same categories you mentioned earlier, God Mazinger and Gaiking, 00 and W, Mazinkaiser and Getter. I'm sure the Daltanius and Baldios villains could find someone they could pretend to ally with and inevitably try to betray.

Honestly whenever I put these together I start imagining them on the 3DS, if only because UX and BX have left me with good opinions of 3DS games. Not to mention that based on the track record, getting on the 3DS would at least mean a crap-ton of special dialogue, since both games are just dripping with it.
>>
>>13751440
Oh, and the Gold Brothers didn't get chumped either. Because no one except Silver Castle is allowed to make chumps out of the Gold Brothers, and like 90% of Silver Castle is inexplicably absent. But seriously they get a pass because they overcome being POSESSED BY THE FUCKING DEVIL GUNDAM.
>>
Holy shit Noble is a chick.
>>
>>13751470
So, on the off chance that I decide to grab the dialogue for the entire prologue of UX, where would be a good place to post it? I'm not going to dump it in one of these threads, since that'd try my patience too much with the captcha and It'd eventually get lost in the archives. A blog also doesn't seem to be the best place to put up so many images. A gallery of some sort would clearly be the best option.
>>
>>13751422
I'd say that kloppen would be the last non-original boss, mostly because is the only one that specifically requires for the group to go on helios in order to fight him. I haven't watched ganbaruger and tobikage thought.

>>
>>13752040
>Not to mention certain characters missing some obvious shoe-ins for their set.
There's not a single character who's crippled by lacking "essential" spirits. Complaints like this are the reason we don't see spirit variety in modern SRW.

And as for Valor, are you really claiming that 30-35 SP for double damage isn't flagrantly overpowered?
>>
>>13752049
>30-35 SP
>Handheld

Handhelds make you sink 45ish SP for the longest while and they sunk SP growth since K. You don't ever use Valor/Soul unless you have to burst things down.

Even Neo/OE didn't charge between 40-50 SP for 1.5x damage. Because it could really stand to be cheaper when other characters can easily push up Valor numbers by skills and friendship bonuses alone.

And I'm complaining about obvious things like Youmu not having Direct Hit considering the kind of character she is. It's not like it'll break her that much since she has jack shit for SP and still has a fairly MP intensive move list.

FMW does do some things better than SRW but there's others where it quite frankly does worse.
>>
>>13751127
How can Ganbaruger work with LoDM? The main villains are sealed underground.

Actually, in that sense, it could work very well.
>>
>>13752077
Direct Hit always strikes me as quite the "wasted Spirit slot" - is there any scenario where you would use Direct Hit over Valor?

(Yes I know Valor costs more, but in terms of getting more damage for your buck I still think it comes out ahead)
>>
>>13752100
When you don't want to get your damage fucked over by Prevail, Size Modifiers, Guard and friends all stacking.

You can save a shitton of SP when dealing with certain bosses by just casting Direct Hit.
>>
>>13752106

>>13752116

>>13752080

I was using 30-35 to refer to the typical cost charged by the Alpha/Z team, because you seemed to be complaining that the handheld team's take on Valor was already too expensive. And to be honest, it's not. Even in the handheld games, Valor is far and away the best spirit command, because even with the higher cost, its effect is simply too powerful.

Direct Hit tends to be a bit of a waste in SRW, but it's a top-tier spirit in FMW. In addition to ignoring barriers, size, range, guard, prevail, support defense, and so on, it also allows attacks to bypass most of the weird boss gimmicks.

Damn, that's good. I'll make sure to use it more often in FMW from now on.

I use Direct Hit to bypass ailment immunity in the three OGs games.

It's pretty handy. Sanbondo was nice enough to give it to most of the heavy hitters, too. Currently, the only major damage dealer who doesn't learn it is Marisa, and she'll be able to get it through Courage in the next game.

>getting to actually use armor breakers is a waste

Isn't that basically just OGs though? Unless you can use it in Z3, because I know just about every boss is immune in the 3DS games

It's fine for the handhelds because unless you get super autistic about levels, most characters only get 1 shot out of it along with the usual boss spirits per stage for a long time.

What I don't like is paying 50 sp for something that other characters can easily achieve for no effort. It makes the spirit feel wasteful.

I barely ever bother using it unless I absolutely need the burst damage. Because Direct Hit gives me a higher damage bump most of the time.

Just wondering, I'm doing my first run of J and I just got the METEOR parts.

Should I use them?
>>

You can't remove them in the intermission like you can in @3 and W, but at least in J they have way better P options than in @3.
>>
>>13752372
Z3 uses All Canceler as well. It can't be bypassed.

Those other characters pay for their damage multipliers in other ways. Most of them sacrifice plenty in the way of raw stats to get their damage multipliers - the people who can stack friendships or skills tend to be shit units in their own right, so the friendships become a crutch to patch up their innate issues. The only real exceptions are Alice (who still relies heavily on her friendships for survivability and her crit skills for damage) and Sanae (who can't stack multipliers unless you give up her PS slot and field nearly 15 cost worth of units who are mostly of middling quality).

I c-can't remove them?
>>
>>13752420
You can still take them off during a stage. I don't remember if the option's called "split" or "remove".
>>
>>13752424
Ah, alright then.

I might as well keep them on then.
