BD raws for the various '90s Rider productions:
Shin Masked Rider Prologue, Masked Rider SD, Masked Rider ZO, Masked Rider SD and Masked Rider World.
World is 1080p, rest of the Bluray-sourced stuff is 720p. Most extras are sourced from DVD, as the Blurays used upscales of the same composite tapes the DVDs used. Only extras that weren't upscaled were the still images and theatrical trailers.
I'm sure we'd all appreciate softsubs for the bluray of Shin. But I doubt there's anyone really clamoring for it and the TVN subs for it aren't so bad. So do it if you want, but no pressure.
Yeah, just finished said rewatch and the subs still hold up pretty solidly aside from a few awkwardly worded lines. I'll probably do it for HD Spine Rip though.
Is there a good quality translation of ZO out there?
If not, I might do it, just because it's a really great film.
And Masaru Yamashita, Ryoma Kagawa's actor from Winspector, appears as one of the martial artists training at the dojo.
I've started on it now. Poor shin doesn't get to be left out of the 90's rider scrubclub anymore.
That's because you suck, and you are very ugly.
go away shin.
Calm down. It's good for a scrub. But at the end of the day it's a scrub from a flawed translation. There's a reason O-T are subbing the first series of GARO despite GomenRider having already scrubbed it. If SailorOtaku deems TV-N's translation as good quality then he just won't do it.
Let's not forget SD, as well, please.
Their newest anime licenses are ridiculously low-key and infrequent. They're pretty much a shambling corpse that is pretending to be alive, even though New York said they were dissolved years ago.
I'd be surprised if they still had the license for GGG.
